We considered the issues of manufacturing open and semi-open cavities in difficult-to-machine parts by using solid electrolyte applied to the workpiece before installing the removable insert. We show the features of the process of anodic dissolution of the allowance at a static state of the working medium. Such studies have been performed for the first time. We developed and tested in practice the processing modes for the implementation of the process for the manufacture of standard parts. We show that solid electrolytes have prospects for further use in the design of technological processes for the manufacture of complex-profile products from metal hard-to-machine materials, including those introduced on the created samples of rocket and space technology. They expand the technological capabilities of combined methods, in which one of the influencing factors is an electric and electromagnetic field with a high concentration of power in a pulse. For the first time, the ability to separate assembly units by forming a gap between mating parts without access to the processing zone of a liquid working medium has been achieved, which determines the possibility of local removal of the allowance at the mating point and removal of a layer of material sufficient for disassembling the units. We laid the foundations for the use of additive technologies for applying solid electrolyte by building up uniform layers before assembling the product. The proposed technology is promising for the manufacture of prefabricated structures with limited tool access to the operation area. In addition, the new technology can be successfully applied in the process of car repair

NASICON-type Li[Formula: see text]Al[Formula: see text]Ti[Formula: see text](PO[Formula: see text] (LATP) solid electrolytes have been widely studied because of its stability in the air, low material price and high ionic conductivity. Gd-doped Li[Formula: see text]Al[Formula: see text]Gd[Formula: see text]Ti[Formula: see text](PO[Formula: see text] ([Formula: see text]= 0, 0.025, 0.05, 0.075 and 0.1) with high ionic conductivity was successfully synthesized by solvothermal method for the first time in this work. The effect of Gd doping content on the structure and electrochemical performance of solid electrolytes was systematically studied. The optimal doping content of Gd is [Formula: see text]= 0.075. With the Gd doping content of 0.075, the solid electrolyte has the highest ionic conductivity of 4.23 × 10[Formula: see text] S cm[Formula: see text] at room temperature, the lowest activation energy of 0.247 eV and the highest relative density of 94.89%. This is because the fact that when [Formula: see text]= 0.075, it is the maximum content of Gd[Formula: see text] to replace Al[Formula: see text] and can completely enter the lattice of LATP, and does not emerge too much non-lithium ion conductive GdPO4 phase.

Novel flower-like composite architecture was successfully synthesized by spray drying and post-calcinating method for the first time. Scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy observations confirmed that reduced graphene oxides/carbon nanotubes hybrid (rGO/CNTs) formed a flower-like micrometer structure and Cu2O , CuO ( Cu x O , x = 1 or 2) nanoparticles were decorated inside them. The photocatalytic properties were further investigated by evaluating the photodegradation of a pollutant methyl orange (MO). The experimental results indicated that this novel architecture enhanced photocatalytic performance with 96.2% decomposition of MO after 25 min in the presence of H 2 O 2 under visible light irradiation, which was much higher than that of Cu x O powders (33.2%). This could be attributed to the more efficient adsorption of MO molecules on flower-like rGO/CNTs and provide a high concentration of MO near to the Cu x O nanoparticles, thus promoting the photocatalytic degradation process.

AbstractA new technology for obtainment of amorphous single-component metals is presented. For the first time the reduction of molybdenum oxide with formation of its amorphous phase is realized in conditions of a given quantum-chemical technology by means of vibrationally excited to the third quantum level hydrogen molecules with 1.5 ± 0.2 eV energy. The evidences of formation of this nonequilibrium amorphous phase are presented along with certain physicochemical properties of the obtained amorphous molybdenum.A model is proposed for the origin of amorphous phase under the influence of nonequilibrium quantum-chemical technology.

AbstractMeasurements of the ultrasonic attenuation and velocity have been made in solid electrolytes with fluorite structure, PbF2, BaF2, and CdF2, from room temperature to temperature at or above the diffuse solid electrolyte transition temperature, Tc. The ultrasonic attenuation peaks observed in this class of materials are associated only with the ionic conductivity saturation rather than in combination with crystallographic phase transition found in many other solid electrolytes. The relaxation rates and Arrhenius activation energies for anion motion above the transition temperature were obtained from the temperature dependence of the ultrasonic attenuation and the theory of local site fluctuations. The ultrasonic attenuation peaks observed for the first time in CdF2was used to define the diffuse transition temperature in this material. An Anomalous peak is also observed in the linear thermal expansion coefficient of PbF2.

Protium aracouchini (Aubl.) Marchand [sin Icica aracouchini Aubl.], which occurs in the Adolpho Ducke Forest Reserve, in the Brazilian Amazon, was evaluated for the presence of galls, for resin exudation and the composition of the essential oils from the aerial parts and the resin. The experiment to stimulate the exudation of resin from the trunk was conducted using a 2-chloroethylphosphonic acid solution. The resin produced after 40 days and the aerial parts had their essential oils extracted in a Clevenger apparatus and the volatile chemical constituents were analyzed using GC/MS. The non-oxygenated sesquiterpenes α-copaene (21.15%) and α-gurjunene (13.69%), in addition to the oxygenated sesquiterpene spathulenol (10.32%), were detected as the majority constituents of the essential oil of the leaves, and a concentration similar to that of α-gurjunene was found in the branches (13.28%). The resin essential oil showed a high concentration of hydrocarbon monoterpenes (76.49%) with a predominance of α-pinene (17.57%) and limonene (46.11%). Four gall morphotypes were found associated with this species. The present study reports for the first time information on the volatile constituents and the resinous potential of P. aracouchini, and registers the morphotypes of the galls that help in the taxonomy of the species.

Previously it was defined that geometrical dimensions of material worked have a significant impact upon the process of wave deformation strengthening, as at equal volumes of strengthened samples and processing modes there are observed different cards of micro-hardness in surface layers. In the paper there are shown investigations of the impact of dimensions of samples made of different material kinds (steel 45, titanium VT 1-0, bronze BRAZh 9-4, aluminum alloy B-95) upon wave deformation strengthening parameters). The investigations mentioned were carried out for the first time on a test desk specially developed. Strengthening effectiveness was estimated according to micro-hardness distribution in a surface layer. The analysis of the results obtained allowed defining that in chosen modes of WDS takes place strengthening not only a face surface but a back one of the sample at that in the core of the sample an initial hardness of material is kept. The investigations carried out allowed defining the fact that at the increase of material thickness from 10 to 20 mm resulted in the growth of degree (ΔHμ) and depth (hμ) of strengthening at WDS of samples of steel 45 - by 24 and 32%, samples of bronze BRAZh 9-4 – by 22 and 21%, samples of titanium VT 1-0 – by 24 and 32%, samples of aluminum alloy B-95 – by 40 and 62%. The samples length increase from 50 to 100 mm is accompanied by the decrease of ΔHμ and hμ at strengthening: steel 45 – by 36 and 70%, bronze BRAZh 9-4 – by 27 and 43%, titanium VT 1-0 – by 24 and 32%, aluminum alloy B-95 – by 40 and 62%.

Solid electrolyte dendrites of yttria stabilized zirconia with spatially ordered porous structures were successfully fabricated for fuel cell miniaturizations by using micro patterning stereolithography. Micrometer order ceramic lattices with the coordination numbers 4, 6, 8 and 12 were propagated spatially in computer graphic space. Aspect ratios of the lattice diameters and lengths were designed between 1.0 and 2.0 to value the porosities in higher levels from 50 to 80 %. On the fabrication process, nanometer sized yttria stabilized zirconia were dispersed in to photo sensitive liquid resins at 30 % in volume fraction to obtain thixotropic slurries. The paste material was spread on a grass substrate with 10 μm in layer thickness by using mechanic knife edge movements, and an ultra violet micro pattern was exposed on the surface to create cross sectional solid layer with 2 μm in part accuracy. After the layer stacking process, the ceramic dispersed resin lattices of 100 μm in diameter were obtained exactly. These composite precursors were dewaxed and sintered at 600 and 1500 °C in an air atmosphere, respectively, and the fine ceramic lattices of 98 % in relative density were created. Gaseous fluid profiles and pressure distributions in the formed ceramic lattices with the various coordination numbers and porosity percents were visualized and analyzed by using finite element method. The fabricated solid electrolytes with the extremely high porosities and wide surface areas are expect to be applied to novel electrodes in the compact fuel cells. The smart processing of the solid electrolytes by utilizing computer aided design, manufacturing and evaluation methods will be demonstrated.

A total of 17 endophytic fungal isolates were obtained from the leaves of Mentha cordifolia Opiz (Lamiaceae). Seven isolates were identified to the level of genus by using taxonomically relevant morphological traits. Colletotrichum and Phomopsis species were dominant among these strains. All strains were separated from M. cordifolia leaf for the first time. The ethyl acetate extracts of all endophytic fungi were tested for antibacterial activity against Salmonella typhimurium TISTR1166 and Pseudomonas aeruginosa TISTR781. Most endophytes exhibited antibacterial activity. Ustilago sp. MFLUCC15-1024 presented the highest inhibition zone diameter with a MIC of 31.25 μg/mL against the tested pathogens. The chemical composition of the ethyl acetate extract of this strain was investigated using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Twenty-one components were identified. 2-Phenylethanol (38.7%), E-ligustilide (12.4%), α-eudesmol (10.2%), β-vetivone (4.6%), β-ylangene (3.7%) and verbanol (3.4%) were the major components of the extract. The strong antibacterial activity of Ustilago sp. MFLUCC15-1024 ethyl acetate extract may be attributed to the presence of a high concentration of bioactive compounds including phenyl ethyl alcohol, E-ligustilide and α-eudesmol. The results indicate that there is high diversity of endophytic fungi in M. cordifolia leaf, and that Ustilago sp. MFLUCC15-1024 strain could be an excellent resource of natural antibacterial compounds.
