Factors contributing to the occurrence of hypertrophic inflammation of the oral mucosa when using removable denture structures are mechanical trauma, poor oral hygiene and weakening of the body's resistance. It is noted that when the cause is eliminated, namely, when refusing to use removable plate prostheses, inflammatory phenomena disappear. The analysis of the literature showed that the severity of the course of inflammatory diseases of the oral tissues depends on various factors, including the state of immunological resistance and the contamination of the tissues with microorganisms. Scientists have established the relationship between clinical parameters, immunological parameters of oral fluid and the state of oral microbiocenosis. It is proved that the oral cavity, as well as the entire body, is characterized by microbial flora, which is characterized by a constant qualitative and quantitative composition of the flora. It is known that it is supported by physiological processes that ensure optimal functioning of the mucous membrane and salivary glands, the relationship between microbial species, which is a consequence of the biological balance due to the phenomenon of "bacterial interaction", both between the organism and the adapted flora, and between its individual species. Scientists have proven that the normal microbial flora, performing the functions of a biological barrier and a permanent stimulator of local immunity, has a positive effect on the body. However, when the ratio of individual species changes under the influence of various causes, the microbial flora loses its protective properties and often becomes a source of auto-infection. It is proved that the trauma that occurs when wearing removable dentures affects this environment and promotes the growth of pathogenic flora, which is the cause of diseases of the oral mucosa, such as prosthetic stomatitis, candidiasis

This article investigates two well-known plays by Youssef El Guindi, the most important and prolific playwright of 21st century Arab-American theatre. Both plays are related to the consequences of the terrorist attacks on the Arab-American community, and they explore the structures of control enacted by the security state and the strategies of its repressive politics. The article focuses in particular on the tropes of visibility and invisibility and its paradoxes for a minority that moved from ‘invisible citizens’ to ‘visible subjects’ within a few hours. The paradoxes of visibility and invisibility and their divide are here explored in relation to three main issues: the relationship between ethnic identity and citizenship – be it social and/or political; deviancy and the construction of Otherness; and identity and the body.

The antioxidant drug "E-selenium" was used to reduce the processes of LPO in the body of fresh cows. Two groups were formed from the analogous cows of the black-and-white breed: The Control was intact, Experienced received the antioxidant drug injection at a dose of 10 ml at the rate of 1 ml per 50 kg of live weight per head for 4 months of lactation from the second. The diets of animals of all groups were the same, balanced in nutrients and met the standards of the RAAS. The duration of the experiment was 150 days. During the period from the 3rd to the 5th month of lactation, there was a positive dynamic in increasing the number of fat globules in the milk of cows of the Experimental group. By the end of the 4th month, it was higher than the Control by 8.9 %. This confirms the active effect of the drug "E-selenium", which contributes to a positive dynamic in increasing the size of fat globules. Non-enzymatic antioxidant tocopherol is an active element of the anti-oxidative system. Selenium stimu-lates the body's own antioxidant system. In both experimental groups, the relationship between the concentration of peroxidation products and the quantitative composition of fat globules and their size was established. In the milk of cows of the Experimental group, the oxidation processes were inhibited by neutralizing the products (POL), increasing the number of large fat globules and the total fat content in the milk.

The relationship between sport and the modern state has been a focus of increased theoretical attention in recent years, particularly with respect to the role of sport in hegemony. At the same time there has been mounting interest in the significance of the body and bodily practices (including sports) as a site of political struggle. Yet, not much work has been done on the connection between these two projects. A monograph written in French and published in 1983 draws together many of these themes but has remained neglected in English-language sport sociology. This paper reviews Le corps programmé and discusses some of the book’s theoretical implications.

Aim: to study the state of local immunity and oral hygiene in patients with GP suffering from AN.Materials and methods: 35 patients with AN were examined at the age of 19-35 years. In the study we used immunological methods, an index assessment of the state of oral hygiene (PMA, API, GI).Results and discussion: in patients of I group poor oral hygiene was established. The amount of lysozyme in the oral fluid in I group was 0.014 ± 0.07 g/l. A decrease SIgA (11SIgA) was established in patients of I group: I, II and control (135.31 ± 23.17, 130.26 ± 24.21 and 300.34 ± 27.38 mg/l, respectively). A tendency to an increase in the level of IgG in the oral fluid in patients of group II compared with I and the control group (5.35 ± 0.36, vs. 4.57 ± 0.04 and 4.98 ± 0.23 g/l, respectively) was established. Conclusions: poor oral hygiene is an objective indicator which reflects low motivation to maintain oral health. The observed immunodeficiency (11SIgA) in patients with GP is a mirror image of changes occurring in the body of patients with AN.

This chapter discusses the relationship of the state to its subjects as necessarily physically embodied beings. The primary way in which the commonwealth commands its subjects is through the medium of its law. The law is for the common good and obliges the community as a whole, and thus the ontological status of the law—as distinct from any particular command of a superior to an individual—is intimately tied to that of the body politic. The question, then, concerning the relationship of the state to the natural body of the individual can be framed in terms of the extent of the obligation of the civil law.

In the aspect of the search for predictors of longevity of dairy cattle animals, the dependence of longevity of Ukrainian brown dairy cows on indicators of descriptive conformation type traits has been investigated. We studied the linear type traits of the exterior of first-calf cows in the leading farms of the Sumy region, characterizing the state of the body development. According to the results of this research was determined, a reliable dependence of the cows longevity on the level of assessment of the descriptive conformation type traits: chest width, body depth, angularity, rump angle and width, and body condition score. The correlative variability of the relationship between cow’s longevity and these features was depending on the level of assessment of specific type trait of body structure of the animal. Dependence of the cows longevity on the development of chest width was different by curvilinear variability. The longer life of cows was found in animals with an estimate for the development of this type trait at 4–6 scores that averaged 2.726–2.895 days with the best 5 scores. When comparing the group of animals with an average 5 scores with the groups having 6–9 scores, a significant difference was found in favor of the first, ranging from 169 (P < 0.01) to 561 days (P < 0.001). Studies on the dependence of the longevity of brown cattle cows on the value of body depth assessment have shown that the most longevity was inherent in animals estimated by type trait development at 7–9 scores, with the highest rate in 2.856 days and estimate – 7 scores. The type trait of angularity similar to deep-chested and was also directly related to the cow's longevity. Cows with excessive angularity and the highest lifetime (2.713–2.855 days) were estimated by the higher scores (7–9) with the best evaluation results in 8 scores. A significant decrease in cows longevity was observed with a decrease in the assessment for this trait starting from 6 scores (-244 days; P < 0.05) to 1 (-701 days; P < 0.001) compared with the best result of 8 scores. The desired state of the linear trait development, the rump angle, was within the average assessment level of 5 scores, which similar to the optimal sacrum slope between the extreme points on the conditionally drawn line at the level of the top point of hip bones and the ischial hump, which was 2–4 cm. Deviations towards the assessment of the rump angle to 1 score (raised) or 9 scores (sloped) are the disadvantages of the body structure. The study of this trait has shown the curvilinear nature of the relationship between estimates for the state of rump angle and longevity of cows. Cows with an optimal 5 scores rating had the highest longevity of 2.796 days, while with increasing and decreasing estimates, the number of days of life of cows decreased. The longevity of cows of brown cattle was determined on the level of assessment for the trait of the rear width. Cows with a maximum estimate for the state of this descriptive trait in 9 scores were used for 575 days longer compared to animals rated at 1 score (P < 0.001). According to the results of research of animals by the trait of body condition, it was found that the degree of fatness was associated with the longevity of brown cattle in the opposite direction. That is, a thinner animals, which are valued lower scores, and used to live much longer. The influence of body condition score on the longevity of animals was confirmed by the highly reliable difference between the maximum (9 scores) and the minimum (1 score) estimates, which was 457 days (P < 0.001). A significant decrease of the longevity was observed in cows with an assessment of body condition in 6–9 scores. Thus, the existence of a correlative variability between estimates of descriptive traits of conformation type and the longevity of cows of Ukrainian brown breeds was determined. Each of the estimated type traits of the body structure correlates with the longevity of cows with varying variability within the classification scores in accordance with their desired development. Thus, the selection of animals for the desired development of linear traits at the age of the first lactation allows them to be used as indirect predictors to increase the duration of use of cows.

Relevance: the problem of human adaptation acts as a link in interdisciplinary research. Purpose of work: analysis of the relationship between the psychological and physiological parameters of the adaptive potential and the state of the body in rescue firefighterswith different length of service. Materials and methods: 235 male rescue firefighters aged 25 to 45 years with a service record of 1 to 22 years took part in the study. All subjects were divided into three groups depending on the length of service. For psychodiagnostic evaluation, the adaptability questionnaire was used. The objective physiological criteria for the state of the organism were the indicator of the adequacy of the regulatory processes and the stress index of the “Heart rate variability” method. Results: in the structure of personal adaptive potential, neuropsychic resistance among rescue firefighters of all groups corresponded to high values at the beginning of the shift with a slight decrease by the end of the shift. The adequacy of the regulatory processes and the stress index at the beginning of the shift reflected more pronounced vagal influences in groups with 1–6 and 16–22 years of service compared to the group of 7–15 years of work. At the end of the shift, an increase in parasympathetic activity was found in all groups. Correlation analysis revealed statistically significant relationships between psychodiagnostic and electrophysiological parameters in individuals with experience from 7 years to 22 years. Conclusions: in the groups of experienced rescue firefighters, a more pronounced correspondence of the self-assessment of the level of personal adaptive potential with physiological correlates was revealed compared with less experienced ones.

In looking at the relationship between the body and the state when it is at its most vulnerable, in the sites of imagination and its making, this paper will explore how queer bodies imagine movement in the advent of a neoliberal discourse of rights, laws, and citizenship. What is it in the apparatuses of the neoliberal moment that washes over the processes of dreaming of a “somewhere else,” shaping the potentialities of movement, the spaces we can imagine and create, and the spaces that seem unreachable? The notion of citizenship will be a primary focus in my research, particularly sexual citizenship, as an incarnation of the state’s capacity to fix the subject to rigid structures and dispositifs of control.

Purpose: to study the effect of type 2 diabetes mellitus on the state of the mucous membrane and tissues of the oral cavity to optimize the prevention and increase the effectiveness of dentition defects complex treatment in this contingent of patients. Materials and methods. We examined 112 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus aged 35 to 64 years, who were further divided into three groups. The state of the oral mucosa, morphological changes, local immunity, lysozyme were determined. The work used morphological, microscopic methods, enzyme immunoassay and spectrophotometry. To test the statistical significance of intergroup differences, the nonparametric Mann- Whitney test was used. Results. Oral use in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2, applications of 1% Clotrimazole cream and Echinacea Compositum S had a positive preventive and therapeutic effect, which was accompanied by an increase in capillary resistance, a decrease in the degree of migration of leukocytes, an increase in the functional activity of immune system cells and an increase in the level of regenerative processes. In patients with defects in the dentition against the background of type 2 diabetes mellitus, violations of the oral cavity local immunity were revealed, characterized by a significant increase in the S-IgA content and a decrease in lysozyme.Orthopedic treatment with partial removable denturesled to a significant decrease in the concentration of S-IgA and an increase in the bactericidal activity of saliva due to increased lysozyme synthesis. It was concluded that type 2 diabetes mellitus affects the state of the oral mucosa, which must be taken into account when providing orthopedic and dental treatment.
