The functioning of modern information systems takes place in conditions of considerable uncertainty and heterogeneity of information flows, which makes it difficult to process such information: solutions are inaccurate, unstable, unfounded and not interpreted, which has been repeatedly noted in the scientific literature. This article suggests one of the methodological ways to eliminate these difficulties based on the application of the regularizing Bayesian approach (RBA) and Bayesian intelligent measurements (BIM). Information processing, both in the form of data and in the form of knowledge, is performed in BIM systems on special scales, scales with dynamic constraints that ensure the integration of numerical and linguistic information based on a modified Bayesian decision inference rule. Traceability of measurement solutions is ensured by introducing a parallel branch of metrological support for information processing. The semantic components of conjugate scales of the SDC type implement the interpretability (explainability) of measurements. The introduction of metrological justification of knowledge in technologies based on RBA provides a significant increase in the efficiency of information processing, both in artificial intelligence systems that traditionally work with knowledge, and in measurement systems for the intellectualization of measurements by ensuring the stability, interpretability and required quality of the resulting solutions. In addition, it is the metrological support of information technologies that will allow for the reliable integration of artificial intelligence and measurement technologies, which is an urgent need of modern information systems.

The article considers the feasibility of integrating artificial intelligence technologies into school education and identifies a problem in identifying didactic elements in the field of artificial intelligence, which must be mastered in a school informatics course. The purpose of the article is to propose variant of the content of teaching the elements of artificial intelligence for the general education of schoolchildren as part of the curricular and extracurricular activities in informatics. An analysis of the psychological, pedagogical and scientific-methodical literature in the field of artificial intelligence made it possible to identify the appropriateness of teaching schoolchildren the elements of artificial intelligence in the framework of a comprehensive informatics course, as the theoretical foundations of modern information technologies. Summarizing and systematizing the learning experience of schoolchildren in the field of artificial intelligence made it possible to form variant of the content of teaching the elements of artificial intelligence, which can be implemented in a compulsory informatics course for 9th grade, as well as in elective classes. The results of the study are the theoretical basis for the further development of the components of the methodological system of teaching the elements of artificial intelligence in a school informatics course. The research materials may be useful to specialists in the field of teaching informatics and to informatics teachers.

The purpose – The purpose of the article was an attempt to assess the significance of two spheres connected with the functioning of DMOs, i.e. internet marketing and the development of modern technologies and information systems. Design – The study covers theoretical issues connected with the essence of destination management organizations as the basic organizational structures in the tourism sector, and with the significance of the Internet and modern information technologies in the activities of these organizations. The second part of the study covers the empirical issues of the problem analyzed. Approach and methodology – Apart from theoretical deliberations, it provides the review of previous research. Moreover, the results of the author’s research were used with the aid of the diagnostic survey technique. The results from 53 DMOs that represent 19 European states were obtained. Findings – The quantity of expenditures on information technologies was defined in the structure of the total expenditures on the part of DMOs. The average value for all the organizations under analysis was 10.9%. Owing to the application of the point grading method (Likert scale), it was demonstrated that internet marketing and the development of modern technologies and information systems are becoming increasingly more important areas of the activities. Originality of the research – The originality is evident in the insights it provides about use of modern information technologies and the Internet in the activities of DMO. The empirical deliberations presented in this article should become an important point of reference for many DMOs and should emphasize the growing significance of information technologies.

The mass introduction of information technologies in the activities of state structures has made it possible to transfer the efficiency of their functioning to a qualitatively new level. Unfortunately, as a means of action, they have characteristic vulnerabilities and can be used not only for good, but also for harm. For the state, as a guarantor of the stability of a civilized society, the issue of ensuring the security of information processing is particularly important. Despite the automation of many information processes, the most vulnerable link in the work of information systems remains a person. A person acts as an operator of information systems and a consumer of information. The entire service process depends on the competence of the operator and the quality of his perception. There are areas of government activity where the cost of error is particularly high. These include ensuring the life and health of citizens, protecting public order and the state system, and ensuring territorial integrity. The specifics of the spheres must be taken into account when ensuring the security of information. This study concerns official activities that are provided by paramilitary groups. Currently, there is a discrepancy in the level of competence of new personnel in the first months of service. The author traces the shortcomings of general and special professional qualities in the field of information security. The purpose of the study is to substantiate certain pedagogical means of forming cadets ' readiness to ensure information security. As forms of theoretical knowledge, we will use the traditional hypothesis and model, as well as functionally distinguishable judgments – problem, assumption, idea and principle. Empirical forms of knowledge will be observation (experimental method) and fixation of facts. To evaluate the effectiveness of the developed pedagogical tools, we use statistical methods: observation (documented and interrogated) and calculation of generalizing indicators. To formulate conclusions, we will use logical methods: building conclusions and argumentation. The approbation of certain pedagogical tools described in this article showed a significant positive trend in terms of competence in information security issues.

Information systems researchers continue to grapple with the development of frameworks to aid managers in the identification of opportunities for the strategic use of information technology. Many of the current frameworks have been proposed to guide the systems development process, but few have successfully dealt with the underlying business issues that drive the need to develop an information system in the first place. Because the difficulties that a particular business must cope with arise from the distinctive characteristics of the firm, its product and the particular niche in which the firm operates, this chapter presents a two-dimensional Competitive Force/Marketing Mix (CF/MM) framework that can be used to recognize opportunities for strategic information systems within the firm’s niche. The CF/MM framework is based on a combination of Porter’s view of strategy as a response to the unique mix of the five competitive forces faced by a firm, and the firm’s marketing strategy. By using the CF/MM framework, managers and researchers can identify opportunities to use emerging information technologies as part of front-line competitive strategy. After presentation of the CF/MM framework, the chapter presents a summary of the results of a CF/MM-based analysis of 150 articles related to the competitive use of information technology that have been published in both the popular press and scholarly press. Organizations that are successful in creatively focusing the use of the expanding array of modern information technologies on their particular business niche will increase their ability to survive in the dynamic business environment of the year 2000 and beyond. The CF/MM framework can also be used by IS managers to orchestrate the mix of applications held by a firm in order to maximize the strategic impact of IT investments.

The paper touches upon the problems of transition to advanced digital, intelligent man-ufacturing technologies, robotic systems, new materials and design methods, the creation of systems for processing large amounts of data, machine learning and artificial intelligence. Automation of fishing process requires an interdisciplinary approach using modern information technologies. The possibility of using artificial intelligence technologies for solving the problems of predictive modeling of the behavior of a trawl system while fishing on a self-learning neural network has been proved. The equations of electric and mechanical drives of trawl winches for controlling the shape-changing design of a midwater trawl are given. The question of improving the control characteristics of a midwater trawl system by introducing a control architecture adapted for the trawl system taking into account the industrial requirements and by developing a mathematical model of the trawl system, in-cluding an accurate model of hydrodynamic forces on the trawl flaps is considered.

Scientific research shows that ensuring the reliability of the product, reducing the time and cost of its production, is achieved, first, by coordinating the interests of the company's employees in the process of organizing the production of the product; secondly, by implementing modern information systems and technologies at the stages of design and technological preparation of the enterprise's production. The introduction of information systems and technologies in the enterprise, as well as any production process, involves the interaction of employees of the enterprise, between which there may be conflicts of interest. Accordingly, the relevance of this research is determined by the need to identify these conflicts and take measures to eliminate them.
