The objective of the research was to find out the reference to alternative rhetoric by digging up markobar as the value of local wisdom implemented in Mandailing ethnicity that uses markobar culture as a local wisdom in communicating in a formal forum. This research used communicative ethnography method. It was conducted at Kelurahan Pasar Maga, Lembah Sorik Merapi Sub-district, Mandailing Natal Regency, North Sumatera Province, Indonesia. The event or the Markobar activity as the object of the research was the Mandailing traditional wedding ceremonies. The research subjects were the informants who got involved in the interaction in the traditional communicative activity, Markobar. The data were gathered by conducting literature study, participants’ observation, and in-depth interviews. The gathered data were analyzed by using Milles and Hubberman model, consisted of Collecting Data; Data Display; Data reduction; Conclusion Drawing; and Evaluation. This model is referred to 8 (eight) components of Hymes; namely, SPEAKING rhetorical analysis. Empirical data found in the fieldwork would be connected in order to develop Markobar as a traditional local wisdom based-rhetorical model. The result of the research showed that in order to master Markobar, one had to understand Dalihan na Tolu and Tutur. In Markobar, rhetorical narration is deductive. This speech (Markobar) has to be presented with full of carefulness, especially in selecting the appropriate words and utterances. The speaking method in it is highly emphasized on the aspect of tenderness, either in intonation or in diction. As a genre, it is an art of speaking which is aimed to attract sympathy; its narration is intended to attract the attention of the listeners and to be successful in achieving its goal. The model developed is AHLI HORAS, an acronym of Akhlak (morals), Ilmu (science), Hormat (homage), and Rasional (rationality).   Received: 16 October 2020 / Accepted: 25 January 2021/ Published: 5 March 2021

This paper examines the supervision of the Inspectorate on the application of the principle of competitiveness in the management of government goods/services procurement. This research was conducted at the North Sulawesi Provincial Government. The essence of this paper aims to find out whether the Inspectorate has supervised the application of the principle of competitiveness in the management of procurement of goods/services to the North Sulawesi Provincial Government. The methodology used in this study is qualitative. The techniques and procedures for collecting data through in-depth interviews with a number of informants related to the application of the principle of competitiveness in the management of procurement of goods/services. Activities in the analysis include data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study indicate that the Inspectorate has been maximal enough to carry out supervision of the application of the principle of competitiveness in the procurement of goods/services in North Sulawesi Province.Keywords : Inspectorate, Competing, Management, Goods/Services

The barrier of learning listening is experienced by students that make them feel anxious. Consequently, it easily effects their performance during listening class. Therefore, this study is aimed to describe the anxiety types and causes of anxiety confronted by EFL students in listening class at university level. To accomplish this aim, Qualitative research designs was applied by the researchers. The research subjects were English Department Students in IAIN Tulungagung. The research data were obtained through observation in listening class and in-depth interviews to the six most anxious informants. Then, the collected data was analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. In order to check trustworthiness of data, theoretical and methodological triangulations applied. The result of this study was revealed that there were six symptoms of anxiety confronted by the students in listening class, that were categorized as the type of Arousal Anxiety (ArA), Apprehension Anxiety (ApA), and Mixed Anxiety (MA) also revealed five causes of anxiety. Those results inform the lecturer to be understood about students’ anxiety and start to create the joyful learning in listening class so that they are more comfortable following the class.

Kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin lembaga pendidikan sekolah mempunyai peran penting sebagai supervisor. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peran kepala sekolah sebagai supervisor dalam mengefektifkan proses pembelajaran PPKn dan apa saja faktor pendukung dan penghambat supervisor dalam mengefektifkan proses pembelajaran PPKn di SMP Negeri 10 Mataram. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Tehnik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subyek peneliti adalah kepala sekolah dan guru PPKn. Tehnik analisis data digunakan adalah data reduction, data display dan conclusion drawing/verification. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fungsi kepala sekolah adalah sebagai supervisi kepada guru yaitu memberikan bimbingan, arahan agar guru bisa melaksanakan tugasnya dengan professional dan bisa mengusai kompetensi berupa kompetensi sosial, pedagogik, professional dan kepribadian sedangkan faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat supervisor akademik, faktor pendukung supervisor akademik adalah para guru selalu siap untuk disupervisor oleh kepala sekolah. Faktor penghambat supervisor akademik ini adalah adanya beberapa kesulitan yang dialami oleh kepala sekolah yang berupa jika kepala sekolah mensupervisor guru yang bukan bidang studi yang menjadi background pendidikan kepala sekolah.Principals as leaders of school education institutions have an important role as supervisors. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the principal as a supervisor in streamlining the PPKn learning process and what are the supporting factors and inhibitors of supervisors in making the PPKn learning process effective at Mataram State Middle School 10. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The research subjects were the school principal and the PPKn teacher. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing / verification. The results showed that the principal's function was as supervision of the teacher, namely providing guidance, direction so that the teacher could carry out his duties professionally and could control competencies in the form of social, pedagogical, professional and personality competencies while supporting factors and inhibiting factors of academic supervisors, supporting factors of academic supervisors the teachers are always ready to be supervised by the principal. The inhibiting factor of this academic supervisor is that there are some difficulties experienced by the principal in the form of if the principal supports supervisors who are not in the field of study who are the educational background of the principal.

Since the ancient time Bali has witnessed the harmony of Siva-Buddha religion, as can be seen from numerous cultural artifacts, including the Pegulingan Buddha ?iwa di Pura Pagulingan. This research was aimed at finding the form of the Buddhism artefacts in Pegulingan Temple, the structure of Pegulingan Temple, and the perception of the villager of Desa Pakraman Basangambu upon the, Tampaksiring district, Gianyar regency upon the the harmony of Buddha ?iwa di Pura Pagulingan. The research data is compiled through observation, literature study, and interview; the analysis was done through data reduction and data display, followed by conclusion drawin. The findings of this research was the Siva_buddha artefacts in the temple in form of Buddhism Stupa, and several Siva shrines. These artefacts shows the harmony and similarities of goals, which must be preserved in celebrating the oneness of God.Kebersamaan Agama Siwa-Budha di Bali telah ada sejak jaman dahulu, dibuktikan dengan berbagai tinggalan budayanya, salah satunya di Pura Pegulingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui wujud tinggalan dari Agama Budha di Pura Pegulingan, struktur Pura Pagulingan dan persepsi masyarakat Desa Pakraman Basangambu, Kecamatan Tampaksiring, Kabupaten Gianyar terhadap kebersamaan Buddha ?iwa di Pura Pagulingan. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui observasi, studi pustaka dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis dengan langkah reduksi data, display data dan conclusion rawin/verification. Hasil penelitian ini berupa tinggalan yang bersifat Siwa-Budha di pura tersebut. Tinggalah tersebut berdasarkan penelitian berupa stupa Agama Budha, beberapa palinggih dari Agama Siwa, dan persepsi masyarakat berhubungan dengan kebersamaan Siwa-Budha di Pura tersebut. Keberadaan bangunan suci dari kedua agama tersebut menyiratkan adanya kerukunan dan kesamaan tujuan, yang perlu dijaga melalui kesucian lahir dan batin. Pura tersebut merupakan sarana pemersatu umat, dengan dasar keyakinan bahwa Tuhan itu satu.

This study aims to determine and analyze the implementation of the management of the Cibalanarik Village-Owned Enterprises of Tanjungjaya District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The implementation can be seen from the factors of policy size and objectives, resources, characteristics of implementing agents, disposition of implementers, communication between organizations and implementing activities. The research method used is qualitative methods through observation and in-depth interviews with people who have information related to the management of the Cibalanarik Village-Owned Enterprises in the Tanjungjaya District of Tasikmalaya Regency. Data analysis technique is done through data reduction, data display up to the conclusion. Based on the results of the study showed that the implementation of the management of the Entrepreneurship of the Village of Cibalanarik, Tanjungjaya District, Tasikmalaya Regency. Implementation can be effective by fulfilling aspects of achieving policy objectives, availability of resources, the ability of the implementers / managers of Village-Owned Enterprises, the spirit required to build and develop Village-Owned Enterprises, and the ability to communicate with various parties.

Implementation of managerial supervision is the activities carried profesioal superintendent of schools in order to assist the principal in order to improve the quality and effectiveness of the education and learning. This study aimed to describe the managerial supervision planning, implementation of managerial supervision, and feedback managerial supervision supervisor in Dabin 7 UPTD District of Purwodadi. Qualitative research and ethnography with research subjects school supervisors and principals. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques to the analysis of the flow of the process of collecting data through data reduction, data display and verification. The validity of the data using triangulation and source. The results of the study, 1) Planning managerial supervision include, a. Preparation of supervision schedule manajejerial, b. Preparation of Instrument managerial supervision, c. Compile a list of schools to be supervised. 2) Implementation of supervision manajerial.Ada three stages in the implementation of managerial supervision, namely, initial activity, performance or core activities and the closing 3) The function of feedback is to improve the managerial supervision findings of non-compliance or overcome the problems identified, so as to improve the quality and effectiveness of education.

This research aims to describe the students’ difficulties in writing descriptive text and to find out the causes of students’ difficulties in writing descriptive text. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. The research subjects are X MIPA 6 students of SMAN 1 Sukodadi who had difficulties when writing descriptive text, the data of this research are the result of students’ worksheet and the students’ answer in interview. This research used documentation and interview to collect the data. Data reduction, data display and drawing conclusion was used to analyze the data. The result of this research shows that the students of X MIPA 6 have difficulty in writing descriptive text, the difficulties are difficulties in generic structure, difficulties in grammar, and difficulties in spelling. While the factors that cause the students’ difficulties in writing descriptive text are lack of proficiency in the text production skills, lack of knowledge relating to the subject contents of the script to be written, and lack of interest in learning English. Keywords: Students’ difficulties, descriptive text

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriftif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru, kepala sekolah, pengelola sekolah atau ketua yayasan Kelompok Bermain Aisyiah Mutiara Ummi Kalasan Yogyakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan yaitu pedoman observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data adalah teknik analisis data reduction, data display dan conclusion drawing/verification. Hasil Penelitian adalah Implementasi model pembelajaran tematik dan edutainment di Kelompok Bermain Mutiara Ummi Kalasan memberikan hasil pembelajaran yang efektif dan kondusif untuk anak didik. Proses ini diterapkan dengan menggunakan alat dan media yang beragam dan unik. Selain itu proses ini dapat mengembangkan aspek perkembangan kreativitas anak usia dini. Proses ini juga membuat anak didik dapat merasa nyaman, tenang, tentunya juga proses pembelajaran yang menyenangkan. Proses pengembangan model pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru sangat berperan penting dan saling berkaitan untuk mengembangkan aspek perkembangan anak, terutama di kelompok awal. Kata kunci: model pembelajaran, tematik, eduitainment, kreativitas anak ABSTRACTThis study aims to describe how teachers apply edutainment and thematic learning models to develop creativity. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Subjects in this study were teachers, school principals, school administrators or chairpersons of the Aisyiah Mutiara Ummi Yogyakarta play group foundation. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. The technique used in data analysis was an interactive model from Miles and Huberman. The stages of data collection were the data reduction stage, the data display stage, and the conclusion of the analysis phase. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of thematic learning models and edutainment in Mutiara Ummi Kalasan play group can provide effective and conducive earning processes. The learning process can develop aspects of the development of early childhood creativity. This needs a predicate to be a sentence. Children feel comfortable, safe, and happy during learning process in the classroom and outside the classroom.Keywords: Learning Model, Thematic, eduitainment, Children's Creativity

The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of EMU (English Moslem Union) Approach in  developing  islamic  studies and English competence among the moslem students of Tidar University (UNTIDAR). EMU Approach is a way of developing Islamic studies as well as English competence. Through EMU, the students of UNTIDAR study Islam as well as English with Halaqoh model. Halaqoh is a term used in Islamic education. Halaqoh (circle) is used to describe a group  with about 8 or 10 persons who learn islamic studies regularly. One of them is as murrabi (teacher) and the others are as mutarabbi (students). This descriptive qualitative study  employed in-depth interviews, and on-site observation in collecting the data. Following Milles and Hubberman’s theory (1994), the writer analyzed the data through data reduction, data display, conclusion and verification. The triangulation was employed in checking the validity of the data. The results show that the implementation of EMU through Halaqoh model  is an effective way to develop Islamic studies and English competence of Tidar University students. It can be seen from two indicators.  The first, it can be seen from the students’ characters in terms of nature, attitude and habit.The second is from the students’ competence  in English through discussion activities.

This study aims to describe the characteristics of the education budget decision making method in Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. The research was carried out for six months with the research subjects of the Chairperson of the Ibu Pawiyatan Council, the Head of the Taman Muda Section Mrs. Pawiyatan, the teachers at Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan, the treasurer, several staff involved in budgeting, the parents of students who were involved in finding funding sources, and a person who is always critical in making decisions and budgeting, both at the Ibu Pawiyatan Council level or at the Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan section. The research data were collected by in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The research data were analyzed by using the data analysis technique version of Huberman and Miles which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the characteristics of the principal's education budget decision-making method were selective minority and seniority, as well as scientific authoritarian.
