Since the ancient time Bali has witnessed the harmony of Siva-Buddha religion, as can be seen from numerous cultural artifacts, including the Pegulingan Buddha ?iwa di Pura Pagulingan. This research was aimed at finding the form of the Buddhism artefacts in Pegulingan Temple, the structure of Pegulingan Temple, and the perception of the villager of Desa Pakraman Basangambu upon the, Tampaksiring district, Gianyar regency upon the the harmony of Buddha ?iwa di Pura Pagulingan. The research data is compiled through observation, literature study, and interview; the analysis was done through data reduction and data display, followed by conclusion drawin. The findings of this research was the Siva_buddha artefacts in the temple in form of Buddhism Stupa, and several Siva shrines. These artefacts shows the harmony and similarities of goals, which must be preserved in celebrating the oneness of God.Kebersamaan Agama Siwa-Budha di Bali telah ada sejak jaman dahulu, dibuktikan dengan berbagai tinggalan budayanya, salah satunya di Pura Pegulingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui wujud tinggalan dari Agama Budha di Pura Pegulingan, struktur Pura Pagulingan dan persepsi masyarakat Desa Pakraman Basangambu, Kecamatan Tampaksiring, Kabupaten Gianyar terhadap kebersamaan Buddha ?iwa di Pura Pagulingan. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui observasi, studi pustaka dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis dengan langkah reduksi data, display data dan conclusion rawin/verification. Hasil penelitian ini berupa tinggalan yang bersifat Siwa-Budha di pura tersebut. Tinggalah tersebut berdasarkan penelitian berupa stupa Agama Budha, beberapa palinggih dari Agama Siwa, dan persepsi masyarakat berhubungan dengan kebersamaan Siwa-Budha di Pura tersebut. Keberadaan bangunan suci dari kedua agama tersebut menyiratkan adanya kerukunan dan kesamaan tujuan, yang perlu dijaga melalui kesucian lahir dan batin. Pura tersebut merupakan sarana pemersatu umat, dengan dasar keyakinan bahwa Tuhan itu satu.

This research was inspired by some of the realities that the author found related to the implementation of character education, especially in several regencies/cities in East Kalimantan. Apart from the author’s concern toward the case of the moral decadence of the nation's children, this should be a demand and obligation for every educator to form the character of his students. Therefore, various models and innovations began to be developed by educational units led by creative teachers starting to package character-based learning designs and innovations. This research focuses on character models developed by the school. This research is a field work research that focuses on multi-site studies. Sources of data in this study include: teachers and students in several schools are the focus of research. The research locus is spread in several regions, namely: Tarakan, Bulungan, East Kutai and Bontang. The data collection techniques that the author uses in this study include: observations, interviews and documentations. Furthermore, the findings of the research data were processed using Milles and Hubberman's interactive analysis using the data reduction flow , data display and data conclusions . Based on the findings of the research, it can be concluded that the character values developed include: religious values, creative, independent and responsible, the spirit of nationality and love for the motherland, tolerance, communication and love the environment.

Karangan putih village is a village where the village where the villagers have different ethnics. Most of the villagers who live there are transmigrans, although they live in the different culture environment, their implementation about tolerance between each villager are high.This research’s objective is to find aut how the local’s and the transmigrans’ way to interact each other, how the local’s behavior to the transmigrans to create the nasional intergration. This research designed and implemented with the qualitative method. The data collection uses the observation technique and interview. The result of this research data will be analyzed by the data reduction, data display and drawing conclusion. The result of this research shows how the locals interact with the transmigrans at karangan putih village is by mutual assistance form, and to create the mutual respect to the cultural differences, they make a discussion and also to create the national integration, the karangan putih village makes a culture to create the peaceful, safe and sound villagers. Besed on the result of this research, it can be suggested that to build the villagers’ tolerance behavior at karangan putih village to fulfill the best things between the villagers.

The focus in this research is to describe and explain the implementation of the rule of Islamic marriage on the modern Javanese novel post-reformation era. Data resources in this research are some of the Javanese novels published after 2000. This descriptive qualitative research used three phases of research: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The primary data resources were reduced and tested by using a triangulation technique to test data validity. Then, the result showed the examples of implementing the rule of Islamic marriage in Javanese novels of the post-reformation era. The author’s point of view influenced the plot and conflict of the rule of marriage in the story. Indirectly, a few examples of the rule of marriage in the Javanese novel of the post-reformation era can provide an illustration based on the Islamic sharia rule. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah beberapa novel Jawa yang diterbitkan di atas tahun 2000. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan tiga tahapan penelitian, yaitu reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Data-data dalam sumber data utama direduksi dan dianalisis dengan pembahasan masalah. Terakhir data-data yang diperoleh diuji dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi untuk mendapat suatu derajat validitas data. Hasil dalam penelitian ini, ditemukan beberapa contoh penerapan hukum perkawinan Islam dalam novel Jawa pascareformasi. Hukum perkawinan yang disajikan dalam novel Jawa sesuai dengan alur dan konflik cerita yang dipengaruhi juga oleh sudut pandang pengarang. Secara tidak langsung, beberapa contoh penerapan hukum perkawinan dalam novel Jawa pascareformasi dapat memberikan gambaran masyarakat mengenai hukum perkawinan yang sesuai dengan syariat Islam dan yang menyimpang dari hukum syariat perkawinan islam.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bentuk penyajian tari Ratoeh Jaroe di Sanggar Budaya Aceh Nusantara (BUANA) Banda Aceh. Sumber data dan lokasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ketua sanggar Budaya Aceh Nusantara (BUANA), koreografer atau penata tari, penari tari, dan penata musik tari Ratoeh Jaroe. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu mereduksi data, display, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan ciri spesifik bentuk penyajian tari Ratoeh Jaroe pada sanggar Budaya Aceh Nusantara (BUANA) yang diciptakan oleh Khairul Anwar pada tahun 2008, serta judul tarian ini diciptakan oleh Khairul Anwar pada tahun 2011. Tari Ratoeh Jaroe ditarikan oleh sebelas penari wanita. Tari Ratoeh Jaroe memiliki tiga puluh tiga gerakan dan lima kali pengulangan gerak. Diiringi dengan alat musik tradisional Aceh seperti seurune kale, rapai, geundrang, dan darabbuka. Tata rias yang digunakan adalah rias korektif, serta tata busana yang disesuaikan dengan konsep tari Ratoeh Jaroe. Tari ini dipentaskan pada proscenium stage namun bisa juga di lapangan terbuka. Fungsi tari Ratoeh Jaroe sebagai salah satu media dakwah yang mencerminkan nilai-nilai kependidikan, keagamaan, sopan santun, kepahlawanan, kekompakan, dan kebersamaan yang diperlihatkan melalui gerakan jari tangan penari. Pada pentas tari Ratoeh Jaroe inilah penonton akan menangkap maksud karya yang ditampilkan. This research purposed to decribe forming of presenting Ratoeh Jaroe dance at Sanggar Budaya Aceh Nusantara (BUANA) Banda Aceh. Data resources and location of the research are head of sanggar Budaya Aceh Nusantara (BUANA), choreography or dance stylist of Ratoeh Jaroe dance, dancers of Ratoeh Jaroe dance, and music stylist of Ratoeh Jaroe dance. The approaching used in this research is qualitative with descriptive research. Data collection used with observation technique, inteview and documentations. Technique analysis data in this research was data reduction, data display and verification. The result of the research shown that Ratoeh Jaroe dance at sanggar Budaya Aceh Nusantara (BUANA) created by Khairul Anwar in 2009 along with title of this dance created by Khairul Anwar in 2011. Ratoeh Jaroe dance danced by 11 female dancers, and the function Ratoeh Jaroe dance as one of da’wah media which is reflected educative, religious, politeness, heroic, harmony and togetherness that is shown by the movement of dancers’ fingers. Ratoeh Jaroe dance has thirty three movements and eleven repeating movements. Accompanied by Aceh traditional music instruments like seurune kale, rapai, geundrang and darabbuka. Cosmetic used in this dance was beauty make up, and dressmaking which is adjusted by the concept of Ratoeh Jaroe dance. This dance performed at proscenium stage and performed at outdoor area as well, thus, in this stage Ratoeh Jaroe dance would be performing with the aim to make spectators at audiences understood the purpose of creation that performed.

This research aimed to find outthe mechanism of hamisbatar local wisdom of ManehituFafiur Tribe, in Belu Regency, NTT. This study was descriptive qualitative research. Data collection was carried out using observation, documentation and interview. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The result of research showed that hamisbatarrite was organized in six stages: preparing land rite, planting rite, hamisbatarrite held in Manehitufafiur tribal house, corn harvest rite, corn collection in customary house, and corn binding rite still continue to be implemented until today.

The research aims at describing the types and functions of speech acts in the tourism slogan in Indonesia. There has already been much research on tourism slogan, but only a few studies focusing on linguistics. To broaden the study of tourism slogans from a linguistics perspective, the research focuses on the speech acts in the tourism slogans. It belongs to descriptive qualitative research by focusing on the phenomena of tourism slogans in society. The data of the research are tourism slogans of some cities in Indonesia found on the internet. The technique of data collection used is content analysis. The technique of data analysis consists of data reduction, data display, and verification. There is no data reduction in this research. Data is displayed in the table and the last step data is analyzed based on the problem statements. The researchers found 31 data of tourism slogans. There are 4 types of speech acts in tourism slogans namely representative speech acts (13 data), directive speech acts (7 data), commissive speech acts (3 data), and expressive speech acts (8 data). The researchers find 3 functions of speech acts in the tourism slogan such as giving information about the history of the city, nickname of the city, hope or idea of the city (19 data), asking (7 data), and promising (5 data). The findings show that there is a tendency to be very simple in the slogans found. Besides, the slogans come with an exclusive appeal by emphasizing the effective component in the message.Keywords: tourism, slogans, speech acts.

The problem of this research is on the roles and functions of madrasah supervisors in improving the quality of Madrasah Aliyah in Tanete Riattang district of Bone regency. It’s important to know the understanding of supervisors on their roles and functions in improving the quality of schools, the planning of supervisors in conducting their roles and functions, and the implementation of supervision in improving the quality of Madrasah Aliyah in Tanete Riattang district of Bone regency. This reseach was a qualitative research where the main sources of the research data were the head of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Bone, Madrasah supervisors, Principals, teachers, and staffs of Madrasah Aliyah in Tanete Riattang district. Data processing and analysis techniques were carried out through three stages of data reduction, data display, and data conclusion drawing. The results of this research showed that the supervisors’ understanding was monotonous in which the supervisors prepared their programs according to the supervisory standard. In addition, the supervisors merely made a one-time visit to 24 different madrasas which could be considered to be inefffective.

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of thematic learning in SD N 1Kragilan.The research approach used is qualitative. The author determines SDN 1 Kragilan as aresearch location. Research data were collected by observation and interview techniques.Data analysis techniques used include the phase of data reduction, data display, and dataverification.The results showed that the teachers were able to understand thematic learning. Thematiclearning is learning taught to children that combines several subjects put together in atheme. Thematic learning can take lessons from the natural surroundings and everydaylife. The teachers have obstacles in carrying out thematic learning. The teachers find itdifficult to run a thematic learning assessment system. Students are not yet accustomed tousing thematic learning. The teachers already have a solution in thematic learning. Theteachers exchange information, knowledge, and opinions with other teachers aboutthematic learning.

This paper aims to explain the lake strategic planning of Situ Gede in Tasikmalaya municipality based on good decentralized environmental governance. This study used qualitative methods with research techniques consisting of non-participatory observation, interview, literature study and documentation. Then the data are analyzed through a three-stage model of data analysis namely data reduction, data display, and conclusions and verification. The result of the research indicates that the Situ Gede area strategic planning which supports good decentralized environmental governance is participatory, where the community is included in each stage of planning, so they have a sense of ownership and a sense of responsibility as a guarantee of the sustainability of the program's implementation. In every stage of planning up to the implementation it must involve the whole community so that the community can learn and feel the benefits of each stage directly. Then, at each stage it must be done collaboratively with the involvement of all relevant stakeholders to avoid conflicts of interest between sectors.

This research is framed by a large topic of leadership. More specifically this research is directed to analyze the tendency of leadership style in Islamic educational institutions. The subject is Putri Al Mawaddah Islamic Boarding School 2, Jiwut Village, Nglegok District, Blitar Regency, East Java. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The focus of this research is about: 1) the tendency of leadership style, and 2) several aspects that contribute positively to the practice of leadership style. The research data was collected through interview, observation, documentation, and questionnaire techniques. While the analysis of the data follows the direction of Miles and Huberman which includes steps: 1) Data reduction, 2) Data display and 3) Conclusions. The results of this study concluded that: 1) The tendency of the leadership style at Putri Al Mawaddah Islamic Boarding School 2, Jiwut, Nglegok, Blitar Regency. the most dominant is democratic leadership; and 2) Some aspects that contribute to the practice of leadership style at the Putri Al Mawaddah Islamic Boarding School 2, Jiwut, Nglegok, Blitar Regency include: a) hereditary aspects; b) geographical; c) economy; d) aspects of the target vision and mission; and e) characteristics and advantages of boarding schools.
