The study examined the predictive role of entrepreneurial cultural support (ECS) and locus of control (LOC) on entrepreneurial intuition (EI). This was to identify factors that predict EI among undergraduates’ of a private university, in Osun state, Nigeria. The study adopted a descriptive research design. For the study, primary data was used while the population of the study consisted of final year undergraduate students’. A purposive sampling technique was used to select 362 students. Their age ranged from 16 to 30 years with a mean age of 21.43 years, SD (2.65). Four standardized psychological scales were used in the study. These were entrepreneurial intuition, ECS and LOC scale. Data collected were analysed using zero order correlation and multiple regression. The result shows a significant positive relationship between ECS and entrepreneurial intuition [r (360) = 0.76, p<.01]. There was also significant positive relationship between LOC and entrepreneurial intuition [r (360) = 0.58, p<.01. The study concluded that there was predictive role ECS and LOC on entrepreneurial intuition among undergraduates. It is therefore recommended that trained psychologists should develop psychological intervention programmes which should be tailored toward improving ECS and LOC which invariably can help improve and enhance EI among undergraduates.   Received: 23 August 2021 / Accepted: 25 October 2021 / Published: 5 November 2021

In this era, a lot of activities that can not be separated from the practice of cheating or fraud , no exception In the government . Inspektorat Sumenep is the leading institution of internal Local Government in preventing and detecting fraud in the Local Government appropiate Perbup Sumenep No. 29 of 2008 . Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep need attention on the issue . This is due to Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep an agency with the largest number of assets and managing large budgets . These conditions led to the formulation of the problem is How Inspektorat Sumenep role in preventing and detecting fraud in Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep. This study used a qualitative approach in which the focus of this study is Inspektorat role in preventing and detecting fraud at Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep . Primary data obtained by direct interviews with the parties directly related to the determination of the source of research data in a qualitative study using nonprobability sampling . The sampling technique used was purposive sampling . The conclusion of this study, role of the Inspektorat Sumenep in the prevention of fraud in Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep still not maximal . This is due to Inspektorat Sumenep not supervise from the planning / budgeting and not optimal in overseeing and assisting the implementation of the SPIP as an instrument of fraud prevention in Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep . The role of Inspektorat Sumenep in the detection of fraud in Dinas Pendidikan Sumenep done by conducting an audit of financial and asset management in each financial year.Keywords: fraud, government, inspektorat.

PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to assess the service quality (SQ) of property managers of shopping complexes in Ibadan with a view to improving management practice.Design/methodology/approachPrimary data were used for the study through questionnaire administration. Ibadan was stratified into five axes using existing major roads where shopping complexes were highly concentrated. From each axis, 33, 65, 48, 64 and 66 shopping complexes were identified (Oyo State Ministry of Land, Housing and Survey, 2017), and the systematic sampling technique (20 percent) was adopted to select 57 out of 276 shopping complexes and 192 (10 percent) out of 1919 occupiers of the shopping complexes in the study area. In total, 157 occupiers responded to the questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using mean ranking and stepwise multiple regression.FindingsThis study found that professionalism, tangible, assurance and empathy dimensions of SQ were rated fair, whereas reliability and responsiveness dimensions were rated poor. Also, stepwise multiple regression analysis predicted 78.5 percent overall SQ of property managers, and assurance, professionalism and empathy dimensions contributed significantly to the overall SQ. Hence, reliability and responsiveness dimensions of SQ need to be improved. It is expected that the findings of this study will help property managers to understand the role of various dimensions of SQ for enhanced property management practice.Originality/valueThe study is one of the few studies that assessed the SQ of property managers of shopping complex with a view to improving its management practice.

This study aims to examine the effect of service quality and fairness on taxpayer compliance and the mediating role of satisfaction in the effect of service quality and fairness on taxpayer compliance. The population of this research is individual local taxpayers in Samarinda. The sample of this study is 164 respondents selected using non probability method with convenience sampling technique. This study uses primary data obtained from seven-scale Likert questionnaires. The data were analyzed using path analysis in SPSS. The results of this study show that, first, service quality has a significant positive effect on satisfaction and taxpayer compliance; second, fairness has an insignificant effect on satisfaction and taxpayer compliance; third, satisfaction has a significant positive effect on taxpayer compliance; fourth, service quality has a significant positive effect on taxpayer compliance mediated by satisfaction; fifth, mediated by satisfaction, fairness has no significant effect on tax compliance.

    The study aimed to identify the relationship between the school management styles and the empowering of new teachers and their professional roles from the perspective of teachers in the light of some variables. The study sample consisted of (267) teachers. The results showed the median level in the school management styles and the teachers empowering, professional roles, and there were statistically significant differences in the degree of teachers' empowering due to the gender in favor of males, and the educational stage teachers of the first three grades. The results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences according to the gender in the professional roles. There were statistically significant differences in the role of the type of school in favor of the mixed and the educational stage teachers of the first three grades. The results showed a statistically significant positive relationship between the democratic style and the teachers empowering and professional roles, and a statistically significant negative relation between the autocratic and the ascetic styles, and the teachers empowering and professional roles.

The aim of the study was to find the role of socio-demographic factors of teachers' discipline styles and classroom management approaches. The study was designed in relational survey method. The universe of the study was composed of teachers serving in high schools in Zeytinburnu district. Using convenience sampling method, 317 teachers accepted to participate in the study.To collect data, a demographic information form, the Teacher Discipline Styles Inventory and the Classroom Management Approaches Scale were used. The data were analyzed via the SPSS 21.0 program. T-test and ANOVA were used for the groups with normal distribution. In addition, Pearson Product-Moment Correlation analysis was performed to determine the relationship between the variables and the scale. Significance level was taken as p <.05.As a result of the study, it was found that the teachers used conciliatory style at the highest rate, followed by supportive style, and they used abdicative style at the lowest rate. In addition, it was found that the teachers adopted democratic approach at the highest rate in classroom management, followed by laissez-faire and autocratic approaches. Also, there was a significant positive relationship between supportive style and abdicative, conciliatory, coercive, negotiator styles. However, there was no significant relationship between supportive style and autocratic and laissez-faire classroom management approaches. Finally, a significant positive relationship was found between supportive style and democratic approach.

AbstractThis research aims to analyze the effect of e-filling application and tax volunteer’s role to individual taxpayer’s compliance. In addition, this research also analyzes the effect of tax volunteer’s role as moderating variable on e-filling application to individual taxpayer’s compliance. This research analyzes primary data from distributed questionnaires to 100 individual taxpayers’ in assistance locations of Tax Volunteer from Politeknik Negeri Bali Tax Center. Sample selection in this research using purposive sampling technique. The testing of research variables was conducted using the Partial Least Square method with SmartPLS 3.0 application. The results showed that e-filling application and tax volunteers role had a positive and significant effect on individual taxpayer’s compliance. While there is no significant effect from the moderation of tax volunteer’s role in e-filling application to individual taxpayer’s compliance. This research has a novelty the role of tax volunteers in improving taxpayer compliance. Furthermore, this research has a practical contribution to the tax authority to increase the role of tax volunteers and to taxpayers on the participation of utilizing tax volunteers to improve compliance.Keywords: E-filling; Individual taxpayer; Tax compliance; Tax volunteerAbstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efek dari penerapan e-filling dan peran relawan pajak terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak orang pribadi. Di samping itu, dilakukan pula pengujian moderasi relawan pajak atas pengaruh penerapan e-filling terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak orang pribadi. Penelitian ini menganalisis data primer dari kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 100 wajib pajak orang pribadi di lokasi asistensi Relawan Pajak Tax Center Politeknik Negeri Bali. Pemilihan sample pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengujian variabel penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode Partial Least Square dengan aplikasi SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan e-filling dan peran relawan pajak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak orang pribadi. Sedangkan terdapat pengaruh yang tidak signifikan pada moderasi peran relawan pajak atas penerapan e-filling terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak orang pribadi. Penelitian ini memiliki keterbaruan peran relawan pajak dalam meningkatkan kepatuhan wajib pajak. Penelitian ini memiliki kontribusi praktis pada otoritas pajak untuk meningkatkan peran relawan pajak dan terhadap wajib pajak pada partisipasi memanfaatkan relawan pajak untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan.Kata Kunci: E-filling; Kepatuhan pajak; Relawan pajak; Wajib pajak orang pribadi

LEARNING EFFECTIVENESS IMPROVEMENT THROUGH ACADEMIC SUPERVISION AND WORK DISCIPLINE STRENGTHENINGThe purpose of this study was to empirically determine  the enhance of teaching effectiveness. Research respondents were permanent teachers of private high schools in Bogor City. The number of samples were 131 teachers who were established by using proportional random sampling technique. The method used was the correlational method. Hypothesis testing was carried out by using parametric statistical analysis in the form of linear regression analysis, correlation analysis, and partial analysis where a significance level of α = 0.01 and α = 0.05. The research came up with three conclusions. Firstly, there was a very significant positive relationship between academic supervision and the teaching effectiveness where the correlation coefficient of ry1 = 0.824. Secondly, there was a very significant positive relationship between work discipline and the teaching effectiveness, where the correlation coefficient of ry2 = 0.66. Thirdly, there was a very significant positive relationship between academic supervision and work discipline together with the teaching effectiveness, where the correlation coefficient of ry.12 = 0.84. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the teaching effectiveness can be enhanced by strengthening academic supervision and work discipline. Results of the SITOREM analysis indicated that several priority indicators need to be improved, such as; assessment of work results, problems solving assistance, self-control during working, teachers’ willingness to carry out obligations, sucessfullness in conducting learning activity, and successfulness in managing learning activity. Based on the results above, it can be concluded that the teaching effectiveness can be enhanced by strengthening academic supervision and work discipline.

The purpose of this study is to explain the locus of control as a moderating variable that has the influence of role stress on job satisfaction. This research was conducted on Melia Bali Hotel accounting employees. The number of samples in this study were 50 respondents. The sampling technique is saturated sampling using the Likert Summated Ratings (LSR) method. Data collection was obtained from the results of distributing questionnaires for Melia Bali Hotel accounting employees. Data analysis in this study uses moderated regression analysis and the model feasibility test. The results of the moderated regression analysis and the model feasibility test indicate that the locus of control variable as a moderating variable influences the role of stress on job satisfaction of accounting employees at Melia Bali Hotels. The results of this study indicate that the higher the role stress felt by Melia Bali Hotel accounting employees, the job satisfaction felt by employees will decrease. Purpose The purpose of this paper is to examine empirically the effect of transformational leadership on followers’ inventiveness and organizational innovation. It studies transformational leadership and innovation at the organizational level and creativity at the individual level. Design/methodology/approach A theoretical model was created, which entailed the development of variables and hypotheses. A survey instrument was used to obtain data, through a self-completion questionnaire. The final sample was made up of 503 individuals, recruited using a random sampling technique. Findings The results showed that transformational leadership has a significant positive relationship with both followers’ creativity and organizational innovation. Furthermore, a significant positive relationship was found between followers’ creativity and organizational innovation. In addition, the relationship between transformational leadership and followers’ creativity, through the mediating role of employees’ psychological empowerment, support for innovation, workplace relationships and employee learning, was also found to be both positive and significant. However, the data showed that intrinsic motivation does not significantly affect the relationship between transformational leadership and creativity. Practical implications The study provides guidance to organizations that need to change their leadership style and approach, as well as their innovation and creativity mechanisms, at a strategic level. The resulting guidance provides organizations with insight into how they can improve the creativity of their employees through motivating, supporting and inspiring them. Originality/value This study is an attempt to illustrate the extent to which transformational leadership can affect organizational innovation in Saudi Arabia, specifically in the public sector, and to explore how employees’ creativity can be improved. This research is beneficial for academics, organizations and policy makers, especially in the Gulf countries.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to investigate the mediating role of brand preference on the relationship between bank advertising and customer loyalty in Ghana’s banking industry. Design/methodology/approach A total number of 600 respondents participated in the study. Convenient sampling technique was employed to select a cross-section of customers from the universal banks currently operating in Ghana. Structural equation modeling technique of PLS was used to test the nature of relationships in the research hypotheses. Findings The study found a significant positive relationship between advertising effectiveness and brand preference. Also, there is a significant positive relationship between advertising and customer loyalty. Again, there is a significant positive relationship between brand preference and customer loyalty. Finally, brand preference positive mediates the relationships between advertising and customer loyalty. Practical implications The study provides a useful guide to strategy and policy formulation in marketing communication by establishing the potential viability of advertising strategy in bank marketing and its potential to generate brand preference and customer loyalty. Originality/value The study has practical implication for, and relevance not only to the banking industry communication strategy but also the entire financial services industry.
