This study is based on the fact that there is not in accordance with what is expected that the understanding of mathematics concepts of students of class VIII SMPN 2 Sijunjung lesson year 2019/2020 is still lacking. This is caused by the learning process that takes place in the classroom does not actively involve students. Efforts that can be done is to apply cooperative learning model Course Review Horay type (CRH). The purpose of this study was to determine whether the understanding of mathematics concepts of grade VIII students of SMPN 2 Sijunjung by using cooperative learning model of Course Review Horay (CRH) type is better than understanding students' mathematical concept using conventional learning. The data of this research is the final test data of students' mathematical concepts comprehension obtained by giving test to the two sample classes. From the results of the t-test hypothesis analysis, it was obtained tcount = 1.936 and ttable = 1.669, so it can be concluded that the understanding of the mathematical concepts of students by using Cooperative Learning Model Course Course Horay Type (CRH) is better than the conventional learning model in students of grade VIII SMPN 2 Sijunjung.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran kontekstual (CTL) lebih baik daripada menggunakan model pembelajaran investigasi kelompok (Group Investigation) di kelas VIII SMP Negeri Pancur Batu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pancur Batu yang terdiri dari 7 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan purposive sampling dan diambil kelas VIII-6 sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 dengan 34 siswa, serta kelas VIII-7 sebagai kelas eksperimen 2 dengan 32 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan intrumen berbentuk uraian yaitu posttest yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa. Dari hasil penelitian setelah diberikan perlakuan berbeda yaitu kelas eksperimen 1 menggunakan model pembelajaran kontekstual (CTL) dan kelas eksperimen 2 menggunakan model pembelajaran investigasi kelompok (Group Investigation) diperoleh nilai rata-rata 77,171 untuk kelas eksperimen 1 dan 70,685 untuk kelas eksperimen 2. Hasil uji hipotesis memberikan nilai thitung = 1,734252 dan ttabel = 1,6693 dengan dk = 64 dan taraf signifikan  = 0,05 sehingga terlihat yang berarti bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kontekstual (CTL) lebih tinggi daripada kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Investigasi Kelompok (Group Investigation).Kata Kunci : Pemahaman Konsep Matematika Siswa, Model Pembelajaran Konteskstual (CTL), Model Pembelajaran Investigasi Kelompok.ABSTRACT This study aims to see that the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts using contextual learning model (CTL) is better than using Group Investigation model in Grade VIII SMP Negeri Pancur Batu. Test result Hypothesis gives tcount = 1,734252 and ttable = 1,6693 with dk = 64 and significant level a = 0.05 so it looks t_hitung (1.734252)> t_tabel (1,6693) which means that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. It is concluded that the students' understanding of mathematical concepts taught using contextual learning model (CTL) is higher than the ability to comprehend the concepts of mathematics students taught using Group Investigation model. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the cooperative Student Teams Achievement Devision (STAD) learning model on the ability to understand students 'mathematical concepts and students' responses to the STAD cooperative learning model type. This research method is a quasi experimental method. This research was conducted in State 2 Junior High School of Sorkam at the even semester of the 2016/2017 Academic Year. The sample of this study was class VIIIA as the experimental class and VIIIB as the control class. From the research data obtained a regression equation Y = 74,857 + 8.857X (there is a positive effect). The average value of students' understanding of mathematical concepts learned by the STAD cooperative learning model is 83,714, while the conventional learning model is 74,857. The coefficient of determination is 21.6%, meaning that 21.6% of the influence of the STAD type cooperative learning model on the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts. The results of the analysis of student responses were obtained (1) by 98.2% stating they were interested and the rest not; (2) amounting to 95.05% stating that there are benefits obtained and the rest not; (3) amounting to 86.78% stated that there were no obstacles experienced during the learning process and the rest stated there were; (4) 94.04% hoped the STAD type cooperative learning model was used in the learning process and the rest did not expect. So, it can be concluded that the student response is very positive because the average percentage of student approval responses to the STAD type cooperative learning model is ≥ 85%.

The purpose of this research was to find out the increase in the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students who were taught with better Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) models than students who were taught with convensional model on the material of flat side space in MTsS Dama Puteh. The CUPs models has three stages including: individual, triplets, and class discussions. The author uses an experimental research design with a quasi-experimental design. Sampling was done using population random sampling. In this study all students of class VIII MTsS Dama Puteh. In this study consisted of two classes, namely class VIIIB as an experimental class and class VIIIA as a control class. Data collection using the ability test mathematical concept understanding of the results showed that based one the t-test obtained tcount = 1,8 and ttable = 1,68. Because tcount > ttable so that it can be concluded that the increased ability of understanding mathematical concepts of students taught with more CUPs models better than students who were taught with convensional models on the material to build flat side spaces in MTsS Dama Puteh.

This research aims to: (1) Describe the ability to write news text students are taught using STAD type cooperative learning model and students are taught using direct learning model; (2) Describe the ability to write high-priority student-language text texts that are taught using STAD-type cooperative models and are taught using direct learning models; (3) Describe the ability to write low-priority student-language text texts that are taught using STAD-type cooperative models and are taught using direct learning models, and (4) Describe the interaction of cooperative learning model type STAD and initial ability to the ability to write news text of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 24 Jambi. The type of this research is quantitative with 2x2 factorial experimental designs. The population of the research is the students of class VIII SMP Negeri 24 consisting of 6 classes. The sample of this research is class VIIIA for experiment class with 40 students and class VIIIB for control class with 38 students. Sample determination is determined by purposive sampling technique. The data of students' news text writing capability was obtained using performance test and analyzed using two ways Anova test. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that STAD type cooperative learning model affects the ability to write student news text. The effect can be explained as follows. First, the ability to write news texts of students taught using STAD type cooperative learning model is better than students taught using direct learning model. Second, the ability to write high-priority students' text news taught using STAD type cooperative models is better than students taught using direct learning models. Third, the ability to write low-priority students' text taught using STAD type cooperative models is better than students being taught using direct learning models. Fourth, there is no interaction between STAD type cooperative learning model and initial ability to write news text skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 24 Jambi.Keywords: Writing News Texts, Cooperative Learning, Direct Learning

Cooperative learning model Think Pair Share is a process of learning activities that includes providing material, group division, giving questions, giving questions and delivering the results of group discussions conducted by students. Cooperative Think Pair Share type centers on students so that students play an active role and are directly involved in the learning process. This research process was carried out because of the learning process which was still classified as classic and less effective. In addition, the role of students is still not maximized then the learning process which takes place in the morning and afternoon today makes students bored and bored with the subject matter. This is the lack of understanding of students about prayer, especially Sunnah prayer and lack of interest, enthusiasm and learning outcomes of students in the learning process in Islamic Education subjects. This study aims to improve students' understanding of Sunnah prayer in Islamic Education subjects by applying the Think Pair Share Type Cooperative learning model in class VIII.3 SMP Negeri 2 Mattirobulu, Pinrang. The variable that becomes the target of change in this study is the result of increasing student understanding, while the action variable used in this study is the Think Pair Share Type Cooperative learning model. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The data collection techniques used was observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that the learning outcomes of students from cycle I to cycle II had increased. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Think Pair Share Type Cooperative learning model can improve the results of students' understanding of Sunnah prayer at SMP Negeri 2 Mattirobulu, Pinrang.

The purpose of this study is to determine the understanding on mathematic concept who were taught by using Quick On The Draw Technique was better than the students who were taught by using conventional technique at Class VIII SMPN 1 Ranah Batahan Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Quasi experimental that designed randomized control group only design. The population of this research was class VIII students of SMP N 1 Ranah Batahan Kabupaten Pasaman Barat of 4 class. For determine the experimental class and the control class is done by randomly. Classes are chosen as experimental class is a class experiment is VIII.2 class and control class is the class VIII.3. The hypothesis of this study is understanding on mathematic concept who were taught using Quick On The Draw Technique was better that the students who were taught using conventional technique at class VIII of SMPN 1 Ranah Batahan Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Based on the result of final test students’ understanding on mathematic concept in experiment class was higher than the control class. It can be seen from the mean score of experiment class 70.89,control class was 57.78.Hypothesis testing by using t-test showed that t-was higher than t-hitung>t-tabel  (1.97 > 1.68) with degree of freedom 95% so hypothesis is accepted. In conclusion, students’ understanding on mathematic concept who were taught by using Quick On The Draw technique was higher than the students who were taught by using conventional technique at calss VIII of SMPN 1 Ranah Batahan Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Based on the above description the researcher gives advice to mathematical educator, to make quick on the draw technique as one of alternative to improve understanding of mathematical concepts of learners.Keyword : Quick on The Draw Technique, Understanding on Mathematic Concept

ABSTRACT   The purpose of this research is: to know the students’ learning outcome and the effect of cooperative learning model group investigation type toward students’ learning outcome on vibration and wave subject grade viii SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Pakam Academic Year 2013/2014. The research method was quasi experiment. The population was all students at class VIII SMP N 1 Lubuk Pakam semester II consist of 8 classes. This research sample use two classes consist of 38 students, class VIII-A as experimental class and class VIII-D as control class and define by cluster random sampling. The data was normal distribution and homogeneity. The result that was obtained: The average value in experimental class after given treatment is 6.750 and the average value in control class after given treatment is 5.697. So it can be concluded that the students’ learning outcome using cooperative learning model group investigation type is better than conventional learning on vibration and wave subject grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Pakam academic year 2013/2014.   Keyword : Group Investigation Model, Students’ Learning Outcome, The Effect Of Group Investigation Model, and Conventional Learning Model.

This research aims to determine the influence of Think Talk Write (TTW) strategy to understand of mathematical concept students class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau. The method used in this research is pure experiment. The population is the entire class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau academic year 2016/2017 which amounts to 444 students, as the sample is class VIII.9 as experimental class and class VIII.7 as a control class taken at random. Data collection is done by test technique. Collected data was analyzed using t-test at significant level α = 0,05, obtained tcount > ttable that is 3,48 > 1.67, so it can be concluded that there is significant influence of Think Talk Write (TTW) strategy to understanding of mathematical concepts student class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau. The average score of students' understanding of mathematical concepts in the final test of the experimental class is 25.23 and the control class is 17.44. The objective of the research is to describe whether there is a difference of students' understanding of mathematical concepts using cooperative learning model of TAI type and Problem Based Learning (PBL) and show the cause of the difference. This study included experimental research with randomized control group design pretest posttest design. The result of the research shows that (1) the understanding of students 'mathematical concepts with cooperative learning model of TAI type is not significantly different from the understanding of students' mathematics concept with PBL learning model; (2) the understanding of students 'mathematical concept with cooperative learning model of TAI type is not significantly different from the students' with conventional learning model, (3) understanding of student math concept with PBL learning model is significantly different with understanding of student math concept with conventional learning model. So that there is effect of cooperative learning model of TAI type and problem based learning (PBL) to the students' math concept.

This Classroom  Action Research was carried out at SMP PGRI 5 Denpasar class VIII H, second semester in academic year 2009/2010.  The purposes of this research  are: 1). to  know the process of  learning in the classroom, 2). to improve the quality of  the process of learning  History, and 3). to improve the students’ learning achievement in History through cooperative learning method type G.I. (Group Investigation). The learning activities  in the classroom were  held in two cycles, they are : cycle I and cycle II. Every cycle consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The techniques used for collecting the data  are  as follows : (1) distributing observation sheet, (2) taking notes on some documents, (3) conducting interviews to the subjects and (4) giving formative tests.  For the data analysis in this study, descriptive qualitative analysis and simple quantitative analysis are used.. The result of this research showed that  the application of learning process of History using cooperative leaning method type G.I. could be well applied to the students of class VIII H second semester in SMP PGRI 5 Denpasar ; Group Investigation method could sharpen the students’ ability academically as well as socially; the application of cooperative learning model G.I. could increase the quality of  History learning process based on the result of observation from the students’ activities during the learning process which showed better result in every session from cycle I to cycle II. Futhermore, the students showed their enthusiasm and high motivation in doing their tasks, presentations and discussions. Besides, their attention, concentration, interaction, creativity, cooperation in group and their work in the form of worksheet or report showed better increase; the application of cooperative learning type G.I. could increase the students’ achievement in learning History, with the average absorption capacity around 70,9 %. And the learning mastery  level is around 69 % in the cycle I and it increased in cycle II becoming 73,1 % with absorption capacity 73,1% and the learning mastery level is  100%. Thus, the cooperative learning model G.I. could be applied as one of the alternatives in learning History at  school  because it could increase the students’  enthusiasm and also the students’ learning achievement.
