Chemistry is a science that studies materials that are generally abstract in nature so many students find it difficult to understand the concept of chemistry which causes a lack of interaction between real life and chemical knowledge. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the REACT strategy in improving student learning outcomes in buffering material at SMA Negeri 2 Langowan. The research method used is Quasi Experiment Design with research design is Posttest-only Control Group Design. The population is all students of class XI Science in SMA Negeri 2 Langowan even semester 2017/2018. The sample of this study were all students of class XI IPA 1, amounting to 25 people as the experimental class and all students of class XI IPA 2, amounting to 21 people as the control class. Data collected is processed from the results of Posttest. Data were analyzed using the Independent t-test formula to test the research hypotheses and obtained tcount> ttable (7.99> 2.02), so it can be concluded that the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning method with REACT strategy proved to be effective against improving student learning outcomes in buffer material in class XI IPA of SMA Negeri 2 Langowan.

Electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution module oriented to chemistry triangle have been experimented using a randomized pretest-posttest control group design. This study goals to reveal the level of effectiveness of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution module oriented to chemistry triangle on learning outcomes of class X MIA at SMAN 15 Padang. Research instruments is multiple choice tests that have been valid, reliable, differentiating power, and indexing difficulties that could measure student learning outcomes. The level of effectiveness of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution module oriented to chemistry triangle is known through the N-gain test. N-gain test results with a value of g=0.46 states that electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution module oriented to chemistry triangle is effective in improving student learning outcomes on medium criteria.

Based on empirical data, student learning outcomes on statistical material are not in accordance with the expectations of teachers so it is necessary to apply the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach. A CTL implementation can help students to understand concepts and skilled resolve issues. The research purpose is to see whether the students learning outcomes on statistics materials that are taught using the CLT approach are better than conventional approaches. The methods used are experimental studies and the data will be obtained from the pre-test and post-test learning outcomes. The population are the entire class IX student while samples taken by random sampling techniques, two classes, namely as an experimental class and control. Research design is a Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Based on the results with two average difference tests on T-Test statistics were obtained that student learning outcomes in experimental class is higher than the controls. This means learning by applying the CTL approach can improve learning outcomes and the benefits for mathematics teachers gained insight into the CTL learning process.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences in learning outcomes between students who received snow cube throwing and students who received an expository learning model. In addition to these objectives, another objective of this study is to test the effectiveness of using the snow cube throwing learning model on student learning outcomes. The research method used was a quasi-experimental with a non equivalent control group design. The population of this study were all students of class XI at SMAN 5 Cimahi. The sample in this study consisted of 2 groups, namely the experimental class and the control class selected by purposive sampling. Each group consisted of 40 students, so that there were 80 students who were sampled in this study. Data analysis in this study used the independent sample t-test and effect size. The results of the data analysis show that the learning outcomes of students who get the snow cube throwing model are better than the learning outcomes of students who get the expository model. The effectiveness of using the snow cube throwing model is more effective in improving student learning outcomes, as indicated by the value of the effect size which is included in the high category.

Students have difficulty in learning, so that it has an impact on low learning outcomes. The low student learning outcomes can be caused by the quality of learning, one of which is the lack of learning reference sources. The purpose of this study was analyze improvement of students' Biology learning outcomes before and after the application of internet use. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design through the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The subjects in this study were students of class IX, which in this study used two classes, namely the control class and the experimental class. Learning in the control class is the usual lecture method, while in the experimental class it is done by applying the method of using the internet. The acquisition of learning outcomes data using the learning outcomes test (pretest-posttest). The hypothesis test using covariance analysis aims to determine whether there is an effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The results of the data obtained indicate that the effect of using the internet can improve student learning outcomes. The results of inferential statistical analysis obtained the value of Sig.count 0.000 with = 0.05. The results of the analysis indicate that the value of Sig.count is greater than (0.000 > 0.05) so Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that in the learning process by utilizing the internet as a complement to conventional learning can improve student learning outcomes. Thus the internet as a learning resource can improve learning outcomes.

Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam  penelitian ini adalah mengenai rendahnya hasil belajar. Fokus kajian yang dibahas adalah faktor yang mempengaruhi  hasil belajar  yaitu mengenai model pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran yang dipilih adalah  model pembelajaran CORE. Pokok masalah  yang diungkap dalam penelitian ini adalah sejauh mana pengaruh model pembelajaran CORE terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Kuasi Eksperimen, dengan bentuk Non equivalent Control Group Design. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah  wawancara dan tes. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t untuk melihat perbandingan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Hasil belajar kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran CORE termasuk kedalam klasifikasi tinggi, (2) Hasil belajar kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share termasuk kedalam klasifikasi sedang, (3) Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang menerapkan model pembelajaran CORE lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang menerapkan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share. Artinya, sekolah dapat menerapkan model pembalajaran CORE pada mata pelajaran pengantar administrasi perkantoran dalam kompetensi dasar komunikasi perkantoran di Kelas X salah satu SMK di  Kota Cimahi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Kata Kunci:   model pembelajaran CORE, model pembelajaran think pair share, hasil belajar. CORE LEARNING MODEL FOR IMPROVING STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMESIssues examined in this study is the lack of learning outcomes. The focus of the study were discussed are the factors that influence the outcome of learning is about learning model. The learning model is selected CORE learning model. The principal problem is revealed in this study is the extent to which the influence of the learning model CORE toward student learning outcomes. The method used is Quasi Experiment, the shape of Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Data collection techniques used were interviews and tests. Data analysis technique using t-test to compare improving student learning outcomes experimental class and control class. The results showed that (1) the results of experimental class learning by using model CORE included in the classification of high, (2) the results of classroom learning control by using the learning model Think Pair Share included in the classification of medium, (3) Improvement of learning outcomes of students who apply models CORE learning is higher than the increase in student learning outcomes are applying the learning model Think Pair Share. That is, schools can apply the model on subjects pembalajaran CORE introductory office administration in office communication basic competence in Class X in one of SMK Kota Cimahi to improve student learning outcomes.Keywords:      CORE learning model, model learning think pair share, learning outcomes.

The background of the research is an effort to develop the quality and explore the potential of students. Teachers are strived to use the right learning model, namely problem-based learning models combined with online learning methods (learning from home) that have been decided by the Ministry of Education and Culture during the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of problem-based learning models in improving student learning outcomes in geography subjects at SMAN 1 Langowan. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with a pretests-posttests control group design. The research variable with the independent variable is the problem-based learning model and the dependent variable is the learning outcome. The results showed that the problem-based learning model was effective and efficient to improve student learning outcomes. The comparison of learning outcomes shows the experimental class with 76.2 pretests and 87.7 posttests and the control class with 74.4 pretests and 81.8 posttests. It also encourages students to be more active and creative in overcoming the problems encountered in learning.

This study was aimed at determining the effectiveness of metal casting practice equipement in improving student learning outcomes in metal casting practice from the cognitive aspects. This study used quasi-experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study were the students of class X Machine Engineering at vocational high school in Yogyakarta year 2016/2017. The samples were taken by random assignment method. The control group sample was class X TP 3 and the sample of the experimental group was class X TP 4. The data were collected using objective test instruments given before and after the treatment. The data analysis used in this study was descriptive statistics and parametric statistics using the T-test. The calculation of data analysis used SPSS v18 software. The results show that the media of metal casting practice tools is effective in improving student learning outcomes in the metal casting practice material from the cognitive aspects. This is indicated by the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes of students who use media casting metal casting tools by 75% while students who use the lecture method by 35.7%.PERANGKAT PRAKTIK PENGECORAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWAAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media perangkat praktik pengecoran logam dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi praktik pengecoran logam dari aspek kognitif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Teknik Pemesinan SMK di Yogyakarta Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Sampel diambil dengan cara random assignment. Sampel kelompok kontrol adalah kelas X TP 3 dan sampel kelompok eksperimen adalah kelas X TP 4. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen tes objektif yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran.Analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan statistik parametris dengan uji-T. Perhitungan analisis data menggunakan software SPSS v18. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media perangkat praktik pengecoran logam efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi praktik pengecoran logam dari aspek kognitif. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media perangkat praktik pengecoran logam sebesar 75% sedangkan siswa yang menggunakan metode ceramah sebesar 35,7%.

<p class="5abstrak">Science is a science that learns about life in the world from all aspects. To be able to study these subjects requires a deeper understanding of the material. Application of learning innovations needs to be done to achieve the objectives of science subjects especially by teachers so as to provide hands-on experience for students to acquire innovative learning. Based on the observations at SMP Negeri 1 Bancar known that the results obtained by students less satisfactory. The process of teaching and learning is done by lecture method, when the learning process takes place many students are sleepy and chatting. To improve the learning outcomes in science subjects especially biology required the existence of learning innovation, namely by using Natural Picture learning media. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence of Natural Picture learning media on student learning outcomes in science biology subjects in SMP Negeri 1 bancar. The type of research used is Quasi Eksperimen. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Bancar with research sample that is student of class VII A which amounted to 32 students as experiment class and student of class VII E which amounted to 32 students as control class. The research design used was Pre-Test research design - Post-Test Control Group Design. Based on the results of data analysis of learning results, the average value in the experimental class given treatment using Natural Picture learning media is higher than the control class using the lecture method. The experiment class is 87.12 and the control class is 74.37. In the hypothesis test the Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000, when compared with α 0.05 then Sig &lt;α then H0 is rejected and H1 accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a difference in mean values of experimental class learning outcomes and control classes. That is, there is the effect of learning media Natural Picture on student learning outcomes.</p><p class="6keyword"> </p>

Artikel ini akan memaparkan peningkatan hasil belajar melalui model pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Model pembelajaran yang dipilih adalah model direct instruction. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode quasi eksperimen, dengan desain Nonequivalenty Control Group Design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes objektif, yang dianalisis menggunakan perhitungan skor gain ternormalisasi. Responden adalah siswa SMK. Di Kota Bandung. Hasil penelitian, didapatkan informasi bahwa hasil belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran direct instruction termasuk kedalam klasifikasi tinggi. Dengan demikian sekolah dapat menerapkan model direct instruction untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Kata Kunci: hasil belajar dan model pembelajaran direct instruction IMPROVING STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES THROUGH APPLICATION  OF DIRECT INSTRUCTION LEARNING MODELThis article will explain learning outcomes through learning model. The results of the study, obtained information that the learning outcomes using direct instruction learning model included into higher classification. Latar belakang: Chemistry learning in thermochemistry material has not been able to guide students to find concepts by themselves. Because of this, teaching materials are needed modules that apply the model-guided inquiry integrated experiment. Metode penelitian: This research aims to determine the effectiveness of uses a thermochemistry module based on guided inquiry integrated experiments with student learning outcomes. The type of this research was Randomized Pretest-poss test Control Group Design. The population was students of class XI MIPA SMAN 3 Padang, consist of 8 classes. The samples were chosen using a purposive-cluster random sampling technique, obtained XI MIPA 7 as experiment class and XI MIPA 4 as control class. Data analysis in this research was students learning outcomes in the cognitive domain. Hasil penelitian: The average value of the control class was 80,42 and the experiment class was 84,58. From the results statistic, both two sample classes had normal and homogenous. Based on the hypothesis using t-test with a significance level of 0,05 was found count was 3,32 and ttable was 1,66., which means H1 was accepted. In addition, to know the effectiveness of the thermochemistry module based on guided inquiry integrated experiment it can be seen using the N-Gain score. Kesimpulan: So it can be concluded that the module is effective in improving student learning outcomes in the XI MIPA at SMAN 3 Padang.
