This study aims to obtain decision accuracy in determining teacher achievement using the Simple Additive Weighting method. Problems in Batam Muhammadiyah Vocational High School in determining the achievement of teachers using assessment criteria with the weight of educational qualifications, discipline, neatness, character, personality and teaching methods. The ranking process stage determines the alternatives of selected teacher achievement using the input of criteria weights. The results of this study get an accuracy rate of 80% with an accurate, fast, objective value. In the future, this research will be used as a new standard in determining teacher achievement.

The objectives of this study are (1) to describe the effectiveness of think-talk-write teaching method toward learning achievement of mechanical machining lathe, (2) to describe the effectiveness of demonstration teaching method toward learning achievement of mechanical machining lathe, and (3) the teaching methods that are more effective between think-talk-write and demonstration among the eleventh grade students of vocational high school Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques used observation and test. Hypothesis testing used descriptive analysis and t test that was started by using normality and homogeny test. This study shows that (1) think-talk-write teaching improved learning achievement of mechanical machining lathe among the eleventh grade students of vocational high school Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta with the average score 15.29. (2) Demonstration teaching improved learning achievement of mechanical machining lathe among the eleventh grade students of vocational high school Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta with the average score 13.13. (3) Based on the result of analysis, the score of tobs = 2.152 > ttable = 2.042 with the significant score 0.035 < 0.05, the mean score of learning achievement by using  think-talk-write teaching method was 15.29, and the mean score of learning achievement by using  demonstration teaching method was 13.13. Based on those mean scores, it could be concluded that the use of think-talk-write teaching method was higher that demonstration teaching method, it means that of think-talk-write teaching method was more effective that demonstration teaching method.

This study aims are to describe (1) Application of tahsin and tahfidz activities with Tsaqifa method in learning the Qur’an at Muhammadiyah vocational high School 3 Surakarta. (2) Supporting and inhibiting factors of the application of the Tsaqifa method, and (3) Results in the activities of tahsin and tahfidz of the Qur’an using the Tsaqifa method. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Sources of data in this study were teachers, students, and the learning process of the Qur’an subjects at Muhammadiyah vocational high School 3 Surakarta. The object of this study is the result of the teaching methods used by teachers in learning the Qur’an. Data collection uses interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The inhibiting factors are the large number of Qur’an reading skills still stammering, lack of interest in learning the Qur’an, and lack of infrastructure. Supporting factors namely internal factors are factors that arise from students themselves, and external factors namely family, institutional, and school environment. To overcome each problem or inhibiting factors are still being studied to find the right solution.

Lecturers are academic staff who are in charge of planning and implementing the learning process, guidance and training, and are able to bring students into activities held by the University, both official and non-official. Selection of favorite lecturers chosen by students can encourage lecturers to communicate more with students to be able to invite students to take part in groups or organizations involving students and lecturers. However, in reality, Universitas Putra Indonesia YPTK Padang is still not actively conducting this election. To overcome these problems, a Decision Support System was designed to determine the student's favorite lecturers by using the simple additive weighting method. The Decision Support System for Determining Favorite Lecturers of Student Choice is a system that is able to increase the ease of decision making in determining lecturers who have student attractiveness so that students are more active and more competent in the guidance of the selected lecturers. In this system the lecturer's assessment is based on 5 criteria. The criteria used are responsibility, discipline, attitude, initiative, and presence. To get the final conclusion as an alternative decision to determine the lecturer of this choice requires the calculation process stage on each variable that has been determined based on the criteria. The position of the decision support system in this study is as a decision supporter, not replacing the role of the decision maker, so that the decision maker has the right to fully refer to the decision support system or not. The research results from the calculated simple additive weighting method can be concluded that the favorite lecturer of the student's choice is lecturer 2 with a score of 1.00 which is the result of the highest ranking and can be used as an alternative for determining the favorite lecturer of the student's choice.

Education is one of the most important factors for the life of every human being to gain wider insights to support a better life. This study uses variables regarding the national standard of high school education, namely Content Standards, Educator and Education Staff Standards, Graduates Competency Standards, and Educational Assessment Standards in South Minahasa District which are applied using the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method by building An Expert System Application. The results obtained are based on calculations done by researchers and application calculations have the same value that is 97,569 namely SMA 1 Amurang.

SMK 2 Cimahi is an educational institution Vocational high school in Cimahi. Vocational high schools play an important role in creating the best graduates for the needs of the workforce. The graduation process is the latest activity of student management. Student graduation criteria for national exams must meet minimum scores, complete all subjects, take school exams, national exams, and competency tests. In the 2015 class of 300 students, students who did not pass the national exam were 1 student, in the 2016 class of 299 students, students who did not pass the national exam were 1 student, whereas in the 2017 class totaling 302 students 100% students graduate on time. However in the coming year, it is still unknown whether students will be 100% graduated or not. Therefore this study was conducted to predict student graduation using the C4.5 algorithm + Genetic Algorithm. C4.5 algorithm has an accuracy rate of 99.78%, precision of 99.78%, 100% recall and 1 second execution time. While the C4.5 + genetic algorithm has an accuracy rate of 99.78%, precision of 99.78%, 100% recall AUC 0.500, and 36 second execution time and after T-test testing between the C4.5 Algorithm and C4 Algorithm .5 +, Genetic Algorithm is said to be significant if alpha = 0.050. The results of this study obtained alpha = 1,000.

Planning of sustainable urban renewal is one of the key issues for city development. Particular emphasis is placed on the problem of the sustainable urban renewal of areas that are made up of a large number of private cadastral parcels that cause ownership fragmentation. Urban renewal is most often carried out to realize a large project where it is necessary to determine the optimal way of its realization. This paper proposes a methodology for assessing the index of fragmentation for the purpose of sustainable urban renewal planning. The methods used to solve the task are Simple Additive Weighting method (SAW) for ranking alternative solutions (i.e., cadastral parcels, spatial elements and areas of future construction), and the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process method (FAHP) for defining the criteria weights. In the process of defining the index of fragmentation model as well as the weighting determination, a group of experts was involved. The proposed model was tested on the field of the construction of the University of Split campus, for which implementation was planned in several periods. The obtained results show that the proposed methodology can provide support in analyzing the spatial–functional capacities of the existing land, and for decision making in optimizing the realization of urban projects.


Vocational High School is one form of a formal education unit that provides vocational education in secondary education as a continuation of SMP, MTs. Graduates who are owned by SMK will be able to choose the skill in accordance with the majors in persistent as stock in the world of business and industry. Feasibility in facilities and infrastructure has an important role in producing qualified graduates. Laboratory is an important tool in the activities of Competency Test Graduation skills expertise. In this study comparing two methods of Simple Additive Weighting and Weight Product Method as an effort to measure the feasibility level of Kopetensi Test in motorcycle engineering program by using alternative school in Pringsewu District. From the results of the study conducted both methods can be used as a basis in decision making lab workshop Competency Testing Expertise in District Pringsewu.
