In the religion of Sikh, wearing the turban or the dastar is a religious practice that is a symbolic proof of their faith to the Sikh Guru’s teachings and their holy book.  The dastar carries its own distinguished characteristics in terms of the way it is worn, its measurements and colours. It completes the Sikh dresscode or uniform, known as Panch Kekaar or the 5Ks, that is an integral part of their identity.  Nevertheless, not all Sikh followers wear the dastar. This depends on individual’s willingness to undergo a baptism ritual,  known as the amrit sanskar. The dastar-wearing Sikhs who have requested for amrit are called amrit-dhari; they are true Sikh followers who adhere to the teachings of their Sikh teachers. One of the objectives of this study is to provide information to the multi-racial society in Malaysia,  especially the Muslim society, concerning the wearing of dastar in Sikhism and its relation with baptism.   Through this information, it is hoped that a society that is tolerance and have mutual respect for each other, irrespective of race and religion, as aspired by the concept of  1Malaysia, is borne. In this study, the textual analysis method is adopted to retrieve information on the dastar and the amrit sanskar ritual. Al-Qur'an is a Muslim holy book which regulates all human life. Not only set the way of life, but the Qur'an is the life of the Muslims themselves. Each verse in the Qur'an contains complete, perfect, and comprehensive messages. Both of the verses are global and even specific. The contents of the Qur'an in regulating human life not only discuss one dimension, but are very multi-dimensional, among them dimensions in theology, bermuamalah, worship, and so on. Muslims and non-Muslims in interacting socially have boundaries that have been arranged in the Qur'an. Tolerant values ​​are explained in Q.S. al-Baqoroh: 256. This article about the concept of tolerance in the Qur'an, that in terms of worship and aqeedah there is no tolerance. Because in terms of aqeedah that is absolute. Therefore, cases that can injure aqeedah should be avoided. The context of tolerance between religions here is free to worship according to the beliefs of each. There is no mutual prohibition in carrying out their worsip. Tolerance will overestimate mutual respect and cooperation between religious communities. Religious tolerance causes believers in God. Different people can live and coexist with each other safely and peacefully so that harmony is created. In understanding verses in the Qur’an well, then the interpretation is the main key to achieving it. At the end of the 20 Mcentury an exegete from Egypt was born. He is Imam Mutawalli al-Sya’rawi with a wll known interpretation of Sya’rawi.

The whole world, the Muslim in particular has witnessed conflicts in different areas, which have hindered the developmental efforts of the nations concerned. It should be learned that most victims of these conflicts are women and children. This article attempts to elaborate the role of Muslims Women as a crucial segment in civil society in initiating peace building through nurturing process. It maintains that the adoption of the principles and values derived from the Qur’ān and Sunnah of the Prophet is necessary as a process of lifelong learning.  Those identified values constituted the framework of this article and it adopts the textual analysis method.   This article concludes that through the implementation of those values and frameworks for peace building, women as one of the important segments of civil society are able to play significant role towards initiating peace building and promoting peaceful co-existence in pluralistic society. Abstrak: Dunia Islam khususnya telah menyaksikan konflik di pelbagai daerah yang berbeza. Konflik ini telah menghalang usaha kearah pembangunan Kawasan yang berkenaan. Kebanyakan mangsa konflik ini adalah wanita dan kanak-kanak. Artikel ini cuba untuk menghuraikan peranan wanita Islam sebagai segmen penting dalam masyarakat madani dalam membangun proses kedamaian dengan mendidik dan memupuk prinsip dan nilai murni janaan al-Qur’an. Penggunaan prinsip dan nilai yang dikutip dari ayat-ayat Qur'an dan hadis Rasulullah adalah keperluan yang mendesak sebagai wadah bagi proses pembelajaran sepanjang hayat. Nilai-nilai yang dikenal pasti merupakan rangka kerja artikel ini, dan metod yang dirujuk adalah analisis teks. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahawa melalui pelaksanaan nilai-nilai dan kerangka kerja Islam bagi proses kedamaian, wanita Islam dalam masyarakat madani mampu memainkan peranan penting dalam memulakan pembinaan keamanan dan menggalakkan kehidupan yang harmonis, sejahtera dan saling bantu membantu dalam masyarakat majmuk.

Abstract Speaking is kind of communication that human needs to give same understanding of mind and works. The term of ‘speech’ has meaning to give some explanation from speaker to audience with many intention from the speaker based on their speech. The speech of Donald Trump at his first state on the january 2018 giving some explanation about the condition in USA today. This research giving the information about the use of conjunction: elaboration in Donald trump speech. The research goal to give some explanation about the types of conjunction and the meaning inside of it. This research used qualitative with the method have been used by the writers is textual analysis method as supported by Frey, et al. The analysis of data show us the precentage of subtype of conjunction: elaboration that Donald trump’s use at his speech are Expository 60%,  Exemplifying 8%, Corrective 8%, Particularizing 8%, Resumptive 8%, Verifactive 8%. Donald Trump used appositive so often rather than using clarification on his speech. It means he is less doing clarification to have understanding between him and the audience

Ideally, a married couple lives together to carry out their respective duties and obligations. However, because the demands of work cause some of them must be far apart and live the life of Long Distance Relationship (LDR) as happened in Batujaya Village, Kec. Batujaya, Kab. Karawang. The problem that arises is how the pattern of fulfilling the rights and obligations of husband and wife in Batujaya Village, Kec. Batujaya, Kab. Karawang. How to communicate on LDR and how to overcome the difficulties that arise between the two. Through research using descriptive analysis method, the results of the study show that: (1) The pattern of fulfilling the rights and obligations of a husband and wife who are on a LDR at Batujaya Village, Kec. Batujaya, Kab. Karawang can be understood in three aspects, namely the Financial/material aspect is done by meeting in person/transferring money through Alfamart/ATM/POS. The biological aspect when far apart is by interacting by telephone, occupying with homework. Psychological aspects, namely by giving attention over the phone or when meeting by serving all their needs. (2) The way of LDR husband and wife communication via telephone, massage, whatsapp, and video call, but for those who do not use the telephone as a communication tool, the communication is carried out directly when meeting. (3) The way to overcome the difficulties that arise between the two is to maintain mutual trust, understanding, commitment, intensive communication, mutual attitude. The difficulties faced are financial, trust, communication, cooperation and sexual needs.Idealnya pasangan  suami istri hidup bersama dalam satu  rumah untuk melaksanakan tugas dan kewajiban masing-masing. Namun, karena tuntutan pekerjaan menyebabkan sebagian dari mereka harus berjauhan dan menjalani kehidupan Long Distance Relationship (LDR) seperti yang terjadi di Desa Batujaya, Kec. Batujaya, Kab. Karawang. Masalah  yang timbul yaitu bagaimana pola pemenuhan hak dan kewajiban suami istri di Desa Batujaya, Kec. Batujaya, Kab. Karawang. Bagaimana cara komunkasi suami istri LDR dan bagaimana cara mengatasi kesulitan yang timbul diantara keduanya. Melalui penelitian yang menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis ini, hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Pola pemenuhan hak dan kewajiban suami istri Long Distance Relationship (LDR) di Desa Batujaya, Kec. Batujaya. Kab. Karawang dipahami dalam tiga aspek yaitu Aspek Finansial/materi dilakukan dengan pola bertemu langsung/mentransfer uang melalui Alfamart/ATM/POS. Aspek biologis ketika berjauhan yaitu dengan berinteraksi melalui telepon, menyibukan diri dengan pekerjaan rumah. Aspek psikologis yaitu dengan memberikan perhatian lewat telepon ataupun saat bertemu secara langsung dengan melayani segala kebutuhan masing-masing. (2) Cara komunikasi suami istri LDR melalui telephone, sms, whatshap, dan Video call, tetapi untuk mereka yang tidak menggunakan telepon sebagai alat komunikasi, maka komunikasinya dilakukan secara langsung pada saat bertemu. (3) Cara mengatasi kesulitan yang timbul diantara keduanya yaitu saling menjaga kepercayaan, pengertian, komitmen, komunikasi intensif, sikap saling terbuka. Adapun kesulitan yang dihadapi yaitu masalah keuangan, kepercayaan, komunikasi, kerjasama dan kebutuhan seksual.

The Muslims of Bangladesh are separated into diverse religious, political, and social groups. Several scholars tried to unite Muslims. One of the most significant Islamic intellectuals of Bangladesh, Sheikh Azizur Rahman Nesarabadi, proposed a paradigm of religious harmony to unite the Bangladeshi people and global nations. According to him, religious harmony with the doctrine of Ittihad Ma’al al-Ikhtelaf (Unity in Diversity) is the only key answer to the current disunity at the national, international, and global levels. This study examines his concept and his role in the society and politics of Bangladesh by textual analysis of primary and secondary data. After analyzing religious harmony itself, we deliver a brief biography of Sheikh Azizur Rahman, presenting his contribution to both Sharia and Sufi education, and their effects on his vision. The study then emphasizes his thoughts on four steps of religious harmony and analyses in light of current social realities in Bangladesh and the Muslim world. This paper concludes that Sheikh Nesarabadi’s thought and theory on religious harmony depend upon three foundations: common good interest, moderation, mutual respect, and the Tawhidic model. These contain the structure for religious harmony of Muslim unity whose implementation by Muslims can achieve the command of Allah to empower the Ummah to continue a leading role in the world as a Khalifah of Allah SWT almighty.

Abstract Previous research suggests that in Salazar’s Portugal, Soviet Poland was portrayed as both a friend and a foe. This article argues that these conflicting images are partly due to distinct discourses that reached Portugal through translations of Polish literature. Ultimately, it aims to give insights into the role of literary translation in the construction of a national image abroad. Since all the translations in the corpus are indirect, special attention is paid to the way the mediating texts impacted the image encoded in the target text. The article considers five channels via which texts were imported, presenting the results of a textual analysis of one translation in each of these channels, including its indirect trajectory. The findings confirm the importance of the analysed translations in the construction of the discussed images and show that the mediating texts had a crucial filtering role as regards the transfer of these images.

Celebrities and fans have been researched by scholars throughout the years, with differing opinions regarding their characteristics and relationships. Prior to the development of the internet, fans were characterized by scholars as deranged, hysterical and passive. Their relationships with celebrities were seen as exclusively one-sided and parasocial. Conversely, since the development of the internet fans have been characterized more favourably as active participants. In this paper, I perform a textual analysis of Twitter conversations between bands/artists and fans in an attempt to better understand if and how celebrity-fan interactions have changed from early scholarly interpretations. I argue that Twitter is changing celebrity-fan interactions, not only by encouraging reciprocal interactions but also by enabling more personal, intimate conversations. Twitter is allowing bands and fans to interact in a number of different ways that simultaneously build relationships and serve commercial functions such as promotion. Fans have become more actively involved in content production and powerful in influencing the way bands promote themselves. Used properly, Twitter can be a valuable tool for bands and artists to market themselves.

Islamic Inheritance Law basically applies to all Muslims in the world. But in fact, a true Muslim society must obey Mawaris jurisprudence is actually more leave even forget this science. Because it is no longer a concern for Muslims, finally arose some disputes between families which is really due to the neglect of science faraidh which has been arranged by God for the benefit of his people. It is important for the writer to contribute how to build awareness of the existence of Muslim faraidh science in the division of inheritance system. In this study, the method used to address the problem is normative. Methods of data collection in this research is done by: Library Researchand Field Research. The analytical methods used this research is qualitative analysis method. Awareness of the importance of the science of inheritance can be grown in a way memperlajari faraidh science. By studying faraidh will automatically raise awareness faraidh to apply science in the division of the inheritance. The author argues that this faraidh science should be included in a curriculum in Madrasah Diniyyah. The principle of peace is a justifiable manner, so that the atmosphere can be established brotherhood. Throughout the peace was not meant to proscribe lawful or justify the unlawful, then it is allowed. The author thinks that the lack of public knowledge about the law faraidh a major cause of the low awareness of the use of science in the division of islamic inheritance/faraidh.

<p><em>The rise of evil that existed in this period began from free association, abuse of drugs, theft and others. The moral deterioration is very much happening and the way to cope with it is by deepening the science of religion, which is with a lot of scientific knowledge of Tauhid. The science of Tauhid is a science that discusses the attributes of Allah SWT and his Messenger or called Aqaid Al-Khamsina. By studying the science of Tauhid can certainly reduce the number of criminality because by learning the science of Tauhid means a person's behavior will be much better. This research aims to determine the meaning of Aqaid Al-Khamsina and the explanation of each of these qualities. This research is included in Library research.  Primary data sources include the book by Imam Muhammad bin as-Sanusi named Umm al-Barahin, the publisher city of Kediri, the publisher name Santri Salaf Press, in the year 2015 and the book of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Fudholi named Kifayatul Awam, the publisher of Surabaya, the name of publisher Mutiara Ilmu, in the year 2018.  The secondary sources are books related to Aqaid Al-Khamsina, which is a book by Siradjuddin Abbas named I'itiqad Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah, a book by Abu Fikri Ihsani called Encyclopedia of Allah, a book by Imam Abil Izz Al-Hanafi named Tahdzib Syarah Aqidah Thahawiyah. In analyzing this research researchers use the Content analysis method (content analysis) is by means of drawing conclusions from several references that have been chosen, compared and combined.  The results of the research obtained is that Aqaid Al-Khamsina is a nature of Allah SWT and its Apostles that if in total there is 50 consisting of 20 mandatory nature of God, 20 impossibly god nature, 1 Jaiz nature, 4 mandatory nature of the Apostle, 4 the odds of the Apostle and 1 character Jaiz apostle. The scriptures of the Eighteen Books of the Caṅkam'maruviya period and the Christian holy book, the Bible, are the divine lyrics of the Lord. The article explains that humanity is cultured by the admiration of sovereignty and the removing of evils and the good and good. The article explains the importance of the world being the creation of God and the atom without him, the merit of the lord's nature and the way of worshipping God, its benefits and the merits of the sovereignty.
