The population used in this study were students of economic education class 2017, 2018, and 2019. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of documentation to obtain students' entrepreneurial knowledge and using questionnaires to obtain data about interest in entrepreneurship. The samples taken were at least 146 students from 228 students, using the Slovin formula to determine the number of samples used. The data collected was then tabulated and analyzed using chi square. The results showed the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-sided) of 0.000. This value is smaller than 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of entrepreneurial knowledge on the entrepreneurial interest of students in Economics Education Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Riau

The skills to construct and interpret graphs are a form of science skills and are an important component in learning physics. The purpose of this study was to describe the ability of undergraduate physics education students to construct graphs based on practicum data and interpret them. Data obtained through respondent answer sheets, thinking-aloud recordings, and interviews. The research was conducted at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Untad and the research subjects of the Physics Education Study Program students were 6 people obtained based on the values of Basic Physics I and Basic Physics practicum II then divided into three groups of levels (high, medium, and low) with each category as many as 2 people. The results of this study indicate: 1) in general, respondents in the high, medium, and low categories can construct graphs but are not based on the prerequisite ability to construct graphs, especially in determining the x-axis and y-axis variables, 2) on the ability to interpret graphs, respondents can interpret graphs the relationship between variables on the graph but not supported by an explanation or evaluation based on proper physics concepts, 3) The strategy used by respondents in constructing graphs, in general, is to convert data in decimal form or scientific notation and 4) The difficulties experienced by respondents when constructing graphs are converting data, determining the scale and how to determine the variables on each graph axis.

This study aims to improve communication skills, in learning conversation(kaiwa) in Japanese language student of teacher training and education faculty Riau University. Many conversation exercises are only focused on practising sentence pattern and memorizing ofconversation examples contained in the textbook. Thus learning pattern causes learners not to beable to express what they want to convey in the real scope of communication in Japaneselanguage. This study tries to overcome the problem by implementing project work inconversation lectures. The purpose of this study is to see the involvement of learners in thelectures using project work and find out their opinions about the method. The data of this studywere 44 students of Japanese Language Education Study Program of Teacher Training andEducation Faculty Riau University. From the result of the study, it was seen that during theproject work implementation the learners were actively involved in learning even though theyexperience language barrier when communicating. From the result of the questionnaire thatasked about learners’ opinion, it was found that almost all learners had a positive impression ofthe project work on the Kaiwa 4 subject.

Abstract:This study aims to determine the refractive index of various types of glass using the principle of refraction of light. The principle of refraction used in this study is the principle of refraction of light according to Huygens. This research was conducted within a period of 14 days at the Physics Education Laboratory, Physics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Syiah Kuala University. The samples in this study were flint glass and corona glass. This study uses the concept of refraction of light that occurs in plan parallel glass, with looping data retrieval techniques. The data analysis used in this study is refraction law formulated by Snellius about refraction. The results showed that the Corona glass has a refractive index of 1.418 while the Flint glass has a refractive index of 1.6203, whereas according to the reference the Corona glass has a refractive index of 1.52 and Flint 1.62. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that for the Flint glass there are differences but not too significant while for the Korona glass the. Results obtained are in accordance with the reference.
