The article discusses the procedures of filing a plea to execute verdicts on providing māḍiyah maintenance and the effort to implement the verdicts in Syar’iyyah Court Banda Aceh.  The study was conducted with a qualitative approach and the collected data were analyzed with a descriptive-analysis method based on Islamic law perspective. The result shows that the procedure and the legal effort to file an execution toward the verdict related to māḍiyah maintenance in Syar’iyyah Court are distinguished into two types of divorce, i.e. talak divorce and filed divorce. In talak divorce, the execution of the verdict related to maintenance is conducted during the reading of the talak pledge. In the filed divorce, the ex-wife’s lawsuit related to maintenance which is neglected by the ex-husband is entitled to be legally sued through filing a plea on execution. The phases as follows: (1) the ex-wife files a plea of execution to the court, (2) pay the execution cost, (3) aanmaning (a warning to the defendant), (4) the ex-husband and ex-wife comply with the summons by the court, (5) the court establishes executorial beslag (executing confiscation), (6) the court establishes an execution order, (7) an auction. According to the Islamic perspective, the execution of māḍiyah maintenance can be conducted following the ex-wife’s lawsuit to the court. The execution of māḍiyah maintenance can be performed by the court based on the valid provisions of executing māḍiyah maintenance in Syar’iyah Court upon consideration of benefit and expediency principles.

Changes in levels and patterns of physical activity might be a mechanism to assess and inform disaster recovery through the lens of wellbeing. However, few studies have examined disaster impacts on physical activity or the potential for physical activity to serve as an indicator of disaster recovery. In this exploratory study, we examined daily bicycle and pedestrian counts from four public bicycle/pedestrian trails in Houston, before and after Hurricane Harvey landfall, to assess if physical activity returned to pre-Harvey levels. An interrupted time series analysis was conducted to examine the immediate impact of Harvey landfall on physical activity; t-tests were performed to assess if trail usage returned to pre-Harvey levels. Hurricane Harvey was found to have a significant negative impact on daily pedestrian and bicycle counts for three of the four trails. Daily pedestrian and bicycle counts were found to return to pre-Harvey or higher levels at 6 weeks post-landfall at all locations studied. We discuss the potential for further research to examine the trends, feasibility, validity, and limitations of using bicycle and pedestrian use levels as a proxy for disaster recovery and wellbeing among affected populations.

Human resources are the most valuable assets of any organization. Therefore, human resources performance has the greatest impact on the organization's performance and its ability to operate. Many factors affect the performance of employees in organizations. In this research, we seek to evaluate the factors affecting the performance of Fajr Jam refinery employees. For this purpose, firstly, the literature of the research, the indicators affecting the performance of employees were identified and the conceptual model of the problem was formed. Then, the required data were collected using a standard questionnaire based on the conceptual model of the problem among employees of FJG Company. After assessing the validity and reliability of the collected data, it is time to evaluate the performance of the indicators. For this purpose, an artificial neural network algorithm was used to estimate the efficiency boundary values. After calculating the efficiency values in the presence of all the indices, each indices were eliminated from the conceptual model and again the efficiency values were estimated. Now, by comparing the performance statistics in the state before and after the removal of each indicator from the conceptual model, the degree and the mode of its effect are determined. The results of this study indicate that the "payroll" indicators, "environmental conditions" and "reporting culture" are the strengths of the system under review, and are now at an appropriate level. Also, the results indicate a negative impact on the indicators of "awareness", "system planning and preparation for critical situations," "amenities," "training," and "job security" in the system under review.
