This article tells about and analyses the informational and scientific potential in the use of the Internet-resources during the process of the researches over the coin circulation of the insurgent Ukraine-Hetman State, they are: electronic auctions and forum «Violity», «New Auction» and «Unc.ua», the electronic encyclopedia «Wikipedia», scientific social web «Academia.edu», social web «Facebook», and also the private «Youtube» channels. Every of the pointed resources and services has its advantages and disadvantages. Using an Internet we could get a new data in the numismatics, by the way identify the new variants of the Muscovy tsar Peter the Great coins excavated on the territory of the Hetman State, put the light on the new finds of the coins evaluated as very rare in the previous Ukrainian science historiography. We assume that even with the disadvantages and features and some dangers in the use of the WEB-resources, the finally have a huge informational and science potential and abilities to help in the research of the history of the monetary circulation of the U У статті розглянуто та проаналізовано інформаційний і науковий потенціал використання Інтернет-ресурсів у дослідженні історії грошового обігу в Україні-Гетьманщині, до яких належать: аукціони та форуми «Violity», «New Auction» та «Unc.ua», електронна енциклопедія «Вікіпедія», соціальна мережа для науковців «Academia.edu», соціальна мережа «Facebook», а також приватні канали на «Youtube». Вивчення вказаних ресурсів зумовлює можливість введення до наукового обігу фактів та нових даних, що допоможуть виявити раніше невідомі сторінки цього періоду в історії України, а також конкретизувати вже частково висвітлені попередниками моменти. kraine-Hetman State, to put the light on the new facts and the data than will help to determinate the unknown pages of the history of Ukraine and also make certain the previous investigations.

The purpose of the review is to characterize general theoretical approaches to the study of diasporas in contemporary science and to present a historiographic analysis of the study of the Armenian diaspora in Russia. The research is based on a complex of historiographic sources: monographs, collective works, scientific articles, theses, that are devoted to the phenomenon of diasporas in the modern world. The authors emphasize the relevance of the study of diasporas in the context of globalization, mass migration, formation of new ethnic communities and polemics around the policy of multiculturalism. At present, the study of diasporas is conducted within the frameworks of history and philosophy, sociology and political science, ethnology and cultural studies, demography and economics, which explains the variety of methodological approaches to the phenomenon of the diaspora. Representatives of different humanities distinguish such defining features of the diaspora as stable ethnic (nostalgic) identity and collective memory, the presence of self-organization and a developed network of intragroup communications, a special style of life behavior and strategies for survival in the host society. These theoretical approaches find application in the study of the Armenian diaspora in Russia, which is a part of the world Armenian diaspora and at the same time has unique socio-cultural characteristics. Currently, the Armenian diaspora in Russia is widely studied both on a national scale and at the regional level, however, most studies cover only the southern regions and the capital of the Russian Federation. The creation of a comprehensive history of the Armenian diaspora in the Middle Volga region is an urgent scientific task. In the final part of the review, the authors outline possible prospects for further study of the Armenian diaspora in Russia and individual regions; this task can be solved using an interdisciplinary approach.

Background. For several centuries, eponyms have been a convenient means of communication between clinicians. For some eponyms among modern surgeons, controversy over authors priority continues. There is still no consensus on the so-called mallet fracture. In domestic and foreign literature, there are several authors names for this fracture I.F. Bush fracture, W. Busch fracture, P. Segond fracture. The aim of the study is to collect the most reliable information about the history of the eponym of avulsion of the distal phalanx of the fingers at the site of attachment of the extensor tendon, the so-called mallet fracture, to determine and prove the priority of the true author of the eponym. Materials and Methods. A search for information was carried out in domestic and foreign publications, manuals on traumatology and orthopedics, periodicals, Internet resources (eLIBRARY, PubMed, Scholar Google). Results. The list of likely authors of mallet fracture includes three surgeons: Ivan F. Busch (17711843, Russia), Paul Ferdinand Segond (18511912, France), Karl David Wilhelm Busch (18261881, Germany). When analyzing primary sources, it was found that for the first time mallet fracture was described by the French surgeon Paul Ferdinand Segond in 1880. This fact was also recognized by the German surgeon W. Busch, who a year later published an article on this damage. In the well-known Guide to the Teaching of Surgery by Ivan F. Bush, published in the early 19th century, information about a fracture of the distal phalanx of the finger at the site of attachment of the extensor tendon was not found. Conclusion. Taking into account the publications known to date, mallet fracture should be called the Segond fracture.

The paper presents results of studies among computer users, demonstrating a remarkable relation between history of computer use (computer experience) and readiness to access Internet resources (Internet access). The observed relation, referred to as ‘Internet entry delay syndrome’, may be described as follows: the greater the user’s computer experience, the longer it takes him/her to decide on accessing Internet and using it on a regular basis. The delay is markedly shorter for inexperienced computer users. The results of the study can be invaluable for Internet Service Providers (ISPs), allowing for more precise design of network infrastructure, as well as for local administration authorities striving to implement the policy of information society through development of information structures and services and improving Internet access on local and regional scale.

Multiple alignments and phylogenetic tree constructions are established techniques for examining the evolutionary history of protease sequences in organisms such as humans, mice, fruitflies, nematode worms and yeast. They also facilitate the mapping of those conserved positions that are important for structure and catalytic function. However, the continued increase in completed or draft genomes offers new opportunities for examining protease evolution across a broader (e.g. more mammals) and deeper (e.g. more invertebrates) phylogenetic range. In addition, the improving annotation not only of proteases, but also of their substrates, interaction partners in proteolytic complexes and endogenous inhibitor proteins now means that aspects of co-evolution can be addressed. The increasing phylogenetic coverage is also important for resolving orthology issues that arise from protease gene duplication or loss in different lineages. Selected sequences will be used to exemplify the utility of Internet resources and present results for these types of analysis.

ICT and the Internet have revolutionized education, in terms of opportunities for distance learning, independent study and resource sharing in particular. However, these new opportunities are not equally utilized across university curricula, with much slower progress in the Humanities than in STEM disciplines. The paper looks at how teaching the History of the English language, a mandatory course for university students majoring in English, can be enhanced through the use of web resources. The use of high quality study resources can help solve a threefold task: shifting the emphasis from the lecturer to the student; raising students’ motivation and engagement in the course through independent work and research; and increasing the content quality of the course. The authors developed a map of the Internet resources that can be used in the course in the History of the English language. The map has four segments: digital texts; online dictionaries and translation tools; videos, podcasts, textual materials, databases, timelines, etc.; and online activities. Each of the segments offers a list of the Internet resources which can be recommended for the course. The authors see the major benefits of using these resources in facilitating students’ preparation for lectures, practical classes, tests and examinations, changing their overall attitude to the History of English, which is traditionally stigmatized by students as insurmountably hard to master, helping students to see that the course can be engaging and even fun, motivating them to explore the history of the language they study on their own. The critical assessment of the web resources available for the course has revealed that the Internet can offer little for the online activities segment of the developed map, which defines the necessity for academics to invest their effort in developing and sharing exercises, practical assignments, tests and other activities to assist students in mastering the course and provide tools for knowledge assessment.

In Russia, there are periodically published publications devoted to the definition of the subject field of cultural studies, its interdisciplinary connections, and unresolved problems of the scientific formation of cultural studies. The new ways of interpreting history proposed by the French researchers first caused an almost panicked statement that as a science "history disappears", but later came to the transition from "history-event" to "history-problem", to the emergence and successful development of the history of mentality, microhistory, historical anthropology, the history of everyday life, etc. The history of world art culture, the history of art, the history of art culture, the history of world religions as academic disciplines today in Russia are preserved only in highly specialized faculties. Over the course of several decades, the very nature of the general cultural erudition of a more or less educated person has changed dramatically. The traditional, well-established body of knowledge, which was mandatory for the humanities or non-humanitarians, was significantly transformed by reducing the actual humanitarian, artistic sphere. Although for the sake of justice, it is worth noting that modern technologies have greatly simplified access to cultural achievements. Each time, the number and quality of Internet resources of world museums, libraries, and archives increases. Recently, we have started to hold conferences and publish final collective monographs, the purpose of which is to practically demonstrate the modern professional level of cultural studies. One recent example is a collective monograph (rather a collection of articles) two thousand nineteen "The science of culture: cultural Studies, cultural Studies, cultural Studies". Of course, there are good, professional scientific publications in the collection that deserve a separate thorough review.

Purpose and methodology of the study. The article is devoted to the analysis of sources on the history of the Holodomor of 1932–1933 in the Kherson region. The results of the study will help to expand knowledge about the famine of 1932–1933 and to conduct an effective search for new archival information about this event. The study is based on source methods of identifying, analyzing and evaluating sources. Methods of archival heuristics are used, with the help of which a circle of archives is established, where the necessary information could potentially be stored, based on information about fundraisers. Results and scientific novelty of the study. A significant array of official records was analyzed: orders, reports, information, correspondence, certifying the crime of the Soviet government against the Ukrainian people - the Holodomor genocide of 1932–1933 in the Kherson region. It was found that the collections of archival documents of Russian archivists, despite the purpose of preparing a source complex, the composition and content of which would deny the Holodomor as genocide of the Ukrainian people, nevertheless contain valuable information from the central archives of the former USSR, including materials about southern Ukraine. One of the significant shortcomings is the lack of documents that would reflect the reaction of the "fraternal" republics to the famine in Ukraine, as Kherson trade unions, in particular, sought food aid from the relevant authorities in Belarus and Russia. In Ukraine, in parallel with the processes of declassification of archives, collections of documents with high-quality archeographic design were also published. In fact, Ukrainian scholars have urged their Russian counterparts to address the issue of famine, as they have previously produced high-quality informational content for the study of the Holodomor in Ukraine, which cannot be ignored.Regional archives play an equally important role in forming the source base of the problem. Their materials have been repeatedly published, including in the large-scale project "National Book of Remembrance of the Holodomor Victims of 1932–1933 pp. in Ukraine” (2008). It seemed that such a number of identified, published, including in the form of Internet resources of documentary monuments, cartographic materials, sources on demographic statistics has already exhausted the subject, but declassification and transfer of documents from the SBU continues, and archives are replenished with new documents. In particular, those that raise the issue of Soviet repression for spreading information about the famine of 1932–1933 in later years. That is, the discovery of new documents and the setting of new research tasks to study the history of the Holodomor is a real prospect for the future.Key words: Holodomor, Kherson region, local history, archive, source, document.

The history of the Armenian diaspora in Ethiopia raises a number of questions about the historiography of foreigners in this country and about the collective categories that are used in the social sciences to address concepts such as foreignness, nation, and identity. Armenians in Ethiopia were commonly described as merchants and craftsmen, on the basis of European published sources of the 19th and early 20th centuries. However, their situation in 20th-century Ethiopia was characterized by the depth of their settlement in the host society. Moreover, the Armenian grand narrative claimed as a leitmotiv that they were the favourite servants of the Ethiopian kings. This paper emphasizes the need for a renewed historical approach to foreignness in Ethiopia by paying close attention to memories, alternative sources, and the making of identities as a social and historical process in the local context.
