Instead of a common cultural perspective, university culture is experienced at three distinct levels: the enterprise, the profession and the cognate area. Each of them exerts a powerful influence on the ideology or systems of beliefs that characterize academics and academic institutions. Thus, many different dimensions should be assessed in order to indicate which of them can affect universities performance and decision-making regarding innovation. This paper concerns higher education in Greece, as applied today and in the forthcoming years and its aim is ternary; firstly, the study on the implementation of international innovation indicators in education, secondly the use of innovative teaching practices and finally the relationship between different organizations and its impact on innovative educational practices. The primary research contacted with the use of a questionnaire on a sample of 471 teachers all over Greece. The findings among others show that the higher the level of innovation regarding educational services, the higher also is the level of innovation on educational processes.

The importance of this work lies in its contribution to the description and definition of the concept, characteristics and operation of organizational innovation in the context of education, as well as the possibility of its use by the supervisors and teachers of the specific school level for better understanding and management of the culture of each school unit.

The article focuses on the activities that regional higher education institutions carry out in the market of educational services in difficult social and economic conditions. Such factors as the needs for educational services in the region, the demand for graduated specialists, the employers' requests, the established image of the university, the financial situation, the solvency of the population, etc. reflect the performance of the regional university. In the course of transition to the new federal state educational standards (FGOS 3 ++), the Russian universities assume certain changes in the structure of basic higher educational programs. On the one hand, this relates to increasing the choice of disciplines, on the other hand, the block of the obligatory disciplines should be strictly adhered to. These changes entail changes in the management of educational processes, therefore, control actions or decisions must be effective for increasing the competitiveness of the regional educational environment. The formulation of the problem of choosing management decisions in a fuzzy environment proposes a method of their selection based on a set of parameters that have been determined to assess the management of available resources and teaching staff for decision-making in the activities of the educational and methodological management of a regional university.

Esta revisión sistemática pretende resolver la controversia que existe en la relación entre generatividad y cultura, para así clarificar el modo de estudio generativo desde una perspectiva cultural en futuras investigaciones empí-ricas. Los artículos incluidos en la revisión, publicados entre 1990 y 2019, debían ser artículos científicos revisados por pares con contenido explícito acerca de am-bos términos. En la búsqueda se utilizaron cinco bases de datos combinando repo-sitorios multidisciplinares con bases especializadas, obteniendo un total de treinta artículos elegibles para esta revisión (n = 30). El análisis de los artículos se articu-la en cuatro categorías que aportan información acerca de diferentes dimensiones de la relación entre ambos conceptos: los límites de la generatividad cultural, com-paraciones transculturales de la estructura de la generatividad, efectos e interpre-taciones culturales de la generatividad y evidencias culturales de su aplicación y utilidad potencial. En conclusión, los aspectos más psicológicos que estructuran la generatividad son comunes interculturalmente, sin embargo, los motivos, la con-cepción y la interpretación del comportamiento generativo parecen variar intensa-mente de un tipo de cultura a otra.This systematic review aims to resolve the controversy that exists in the relationship between generativity and culture, in order to clarify the approach of generative study from a cultural perspective in future empirical research. The articles included in the review, published between 1990 and 2019, should be peer-reviewed scientific articles with explicit content about both terms. In the search, five databases were used combining multidisciplinary repositories with specialized databases, obtaining a total of thirty articles eligible for this review (n = 30). The analysis of the articles is divided into four categories that provide information about different dimensions of the relationship between both concepts: the limits of cultural generativity, cross-cultural comparisons of the structure of generativity, effects and cultural interpretations of generativity, and cultural evi­dences of its application and potential usefulness. In conclusion, the most psycho­logical aspects that structure generativity are common interculturally, however, the motives, conception and interpretation of generative behavior seem to vary in­tensely from one type of culture to another.

Purpose Hearing loss self-management refers to the knowledge and skills people use to manage the effects of hearing loss on all aspects of their daily lives. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between self-reported hearing loss self-management and hearing aid benefit and satisfaction. Method Thirty-seven adults with hearing loss, all of whom were current users of bilateral hearing aids, participated in this observational study. The participants completed self-report inventories probing their hearing loss self-management and hearing aid benefit and satisfaction. Correlation analysis was used to investigate the relationship between individual domains of hearing loss self-management and hearing aid benefit and satisfaction. Results Participants who reported better self-management of the effects of their hearing loss on their emotional well-being and social participation were more likely to report less aided listening difficulty in noisy and reverberant environments and greater satisfaction with the effect of their hearing aids on their self-image. Participants who reported better self-management in the areas of adhering to treatment, participating in shared decision making, accessing services and resources, attending appointments, and monitoring for changes in their hearing and functional status were more likely to report greater satisfaction with the sound quality and performance of their hearing aids. Conclusion Study findings highlight the potential for using information about a patient's hearing loss self-management in different domains as part of clinical decision making and management planning.

Abstract. Based on responses from 158 reward managers located at the headquarters or subsidiaries of multinational enterprises, the present study examines the relationship between the centralization of reward management decision making and its perceived effectiveness in multinational enterprises. Our results show that headquarters managers perceive a centralized approach as being more effective, while for subsidiary managers this relationship is moderated by the manager’s role identity. Referring to social identity theory, the present study enriches the standardization versus localization debate through a new perspective focusing on psychological processes, thereby indicating the importance of in-group favoritism in headquarters and the influence of subsidiary managers’ role identities on reward management decision making.

The United States, Iran and the Bomb provides the first comprehensive analysis of the US-Iranian nuclear relationship from its origins through to the signing of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in 2015. Starting with the Nixon administration in the 1970s, it analyses the policies of successive US administrations toward the Iranian nuclear programme. Emphasizing the centrality of domestic politics to decision-making on both sides, it offers both an explanation of the evolution of the relationship and a critique of successive US administrations' efforts to halt the Iranian nuclear programme, with neither coercive measures nor inducements effectively applied. The book further argues that factional politics inside Iran played a crucial role in Iranian nuclear decision-making and that American policy tended to reinforce the position of Iranian hardliners and undermine that of those who were prepared to compromise on the nuclear issue. In the final chapter it demonstrates how President Obama's alterations to American strategy, accompanied by shifts in Iranian domestic politics, finally brought about the signing of the JCPOA in 2015.
