Physical education (PE) teachers in Turkey fulfill the coaching role within school sports activities in addition to teaching roles. However, coaching and teaching are different professional fields. In this regard, it is estimated that PE teachers experience role conflicts in the current system. The present study aimed to evaluate the role conflict situation from different perspectives in accordance with the opinions of the PE teachers. Six PE teachers, three female and three males, voluntarily participated in the study. In order to examine the role conflict in depth and to explain this situation better, the research was designed as phenomenology in qualitative research method A semi-structured interview form prepared by the researchers was used as a data collection tool. In the analysis of the data obtained, content analysis method was used to make objective and systematic inferences. The study yielded the outcome that especially young PE teachers had a role conflict and that they were negatively affected by this situation. PE teachers with a high level of sportive background stated that they felt closer to the coaching role than the teaching role. Finally, all PE teachers who participated in the study emphasized that coach support was very important in this process. They also reported that they could not spare time for their families and relatives due to high training hours and that they experienced physical and mental fatigue. Bu kapsamda, BE öğretmenlerinin mevcut sistem içerisinde rol çatışması yaşadıkları öngörülmüştür. Bu araştırmada, rol çatışması durumunun Türkiye’deki BE öğretmenlerinin görüşleri doğrultusunda farklı açılardan değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Abstract Background Well-established electronic data capture in UK general practice means that algorithms, developed on patient data, can be used for automated clinical decision support systems (CDSSs). These can predict patient risk, help with prescribing safety, improve diagnosis and prompt clinicians to record extra data. However, there is persistent evidence of low uptake of CDSSs in the clinic. We interviewed UK General Practitioners (GPs) to understand what features of CDSSs, and the contexts of their use, facilitate or present barriers to their use. Methods We interviewed 11 practicing GPs in London and South England using a semi-structured interview schedule and discussed a hypothetical CDSS that could detect early signs of dementia. We applied thematic analysis to the anonymised interview transcripts. Results We identified three overarching themes: trust in individual CDSSs; usability of individual CDSSs; and usability of CDSSs in the broader practice context, to which nine subthemes contributed. Trust was affected by CDSS provenance, perceived threat to autonomy and clear management guidance. Usability was influenced by sensitivity to the patient context, CDSS flexibility, ease of control, and non-intrusiveness. CDSSs were more likely to be used by GPs if they did not contribute to alert proliferation and subsequent fatigue, or if GPs were provided with training in their use. Conclusions Building on these findings we make a number of recommendations for CDSS developers to consider when bringing a new CDSS into GP patient records systems. These include co-producing CDSS with GPs to improve fit within clinic workflow and wider practice systems, ensuring a high level of accuracy and a clear clinical pathway, and providing CDSS training for practice staff. These recommendations may reduce the proliferation of unhelpful alerts that can result in important decision-support being ignored.

The COVID-19 pandemic has altered healthcare delivery platforms from traditional face-to-face formats to online care through digital tools. The healthcare industry saw a rapid adoption of digital collaborative tools to provide care to patients, regardless of where patients or clinicians were located, while mitigating the risk of exposure to the coronavirus. Information technologies now allow healthcare providers to continue a high level of care for their patients through virtual visits, and to collaborate with other providers in the networks. Population health can be improved by social determinants of health and precision medicine working together. However, these two health-enhancing constructs work independently, resulting in suboptimal health results. This paper argues that artificial intelligence can provide clinical–community linkage that enhances overall population health. An exploratory roadmap is proposed.

Nowadays, health care management is driven by informationization and information technologies are widely used in various types of hospitals. Doctors and nurses are the direct users of information technologies for health care management (ITHCM), as well as the most critical prerequisites in ITHCM implementation. Their acceptance and use of ITHCM can significantly promote hospital performance and enhance core competitiveness. However, different people have different attitude, values and motivation on ITHCM. These factors not only affect employee’s behavior in ITHCM adoption, but also their continued use behavior of ITHCM. Based on the Big Five personality as well as real-world healthcare situation in China, we investigated the impacting factors of ITHCM continuing use, and built ITHCM Continuing Use Model based on personality. We conducted an empirical study to verify the related hypothesis. The results show that Big Five personality affect the willingness of ITHCM continuing use through perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness.

The article deals with the development of festival tourism in the second half of the 20th century. Festival tourism is referred to the special types of tourism and should satisfy specific needs of people during the trip. The motivational basis of the festival tourism is the desire of people to visit new places, regions and events in the world, including festivals. The article analyzes the main factors of the development of festival tourism in the second half of the 20th century after the end of the Second World War. Six main groups of factors are determined, in particular: civilization, sociological and psychological factors; economic factors; political factors; technological factors; ecological factors and tourism as a factor in festival development. It was established that the progress of civilization and higher incomes made it possible to satisfy the basic social needs in the highly developed countries, as well as to concentrate on high-level needs, including those connected with culture and entertainment, thus, also with festivals. The collapse of the USSR and the democratization of the post-communist countries in Europe caused the appearance of a new cultural and entertainment activity. Moreover, the authorities began to take more and more responsibility for the socioeconomic development of cities and regions, including the cultural aspect, which in turn resulted in promotion of local festivals. The development of transport infrastructure and modern information technologies has also positively contributed to the development of festival tourism. The ecological approach to life and to civilization in general is considered to be an important factor in the development of festival tourism in recent years.
