<h1>This study investigates the effect of smartphone addiction, achievement motivation, and textbook reading intensity on academic achievement. This quantitative study involved 720 students from two public universities. The cluster random sampling technique and three psychological scales namely Smartphone Addiction Scale, Achievement Motivation Scale, and Reading Textbook Intensity Scale were employed for data collection. The data were analyzed using path analysis technique. The study found that (i) smartphone addiction and achievement motivation directly affect the intensity of reading academic textbooks, and (ii) smartphones addiction, achievement motivation, and the intensity of reading academic textbooks directly affect the academic achievement. Although the intensity of reading academic textbook mediated the effect of smartphone addiction on academic achievement, it did not mediate the effect of achievement motivation on academic achievement.</h1>

The low interest in entrepreneurship of graduates of BLK Padang barista training, which is thought to be due to the low achievement of barista training graduates at BLK Padang, is the background of this research. Objectives (1) aim to excel (2) describe interest in entrepreneurship (3) describe the relationship between achievement motivation and entrepreneurial interest for barista trainer graduates. The approach in this study is a quantitative correlational type. In this study, the population was 64 people. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling, the 50% sample consisted of 32 people. The data collection technique is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used theoretical theory, percentage and Spearman Rho. This study found that (1) achievement motivation was categorized as moderate. (2) the entrepreneurship interest of the barista training students is categorized as moderate. (3) There is a significant relationship between achievement motivation and the interest of graduates of barista training at BLK Padang.

Abstract: Lack of practical activities in schools can result in a decrease in the creativity of students. worksheets based on the discovery learning model in them trigger students to think creatively and critically. The sampling technique is cluster random sampling. The purpose of this study is to look at the improvement of skills competencies which are assisted by student worksheets based on the discovery learning model. The data analysis technique is testing hypotheses where there is a difference which means the use of this student worksheet. Hypothesis testing conditions are to carry out normality tests for skill scores from both sample classes and homogeneity tests to see the distribution of values from two sample classes that have homogeneous data. after treatment is obtained, the average value of the skills of the experimental class is 78.62 and for the control class is 70.10.Abstrak: Kurangnya kegiatan praktikum di sekolah dapat mengakibatkan penurunan kreativitas siswa. lembar kerja berbasis model discovery learning di dalamnya memicu siswa untuk berpikir kreatif dan kritis. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah cluster random sampling. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat peningkatan kompetensi keterampilan yang dibantu oleh lembar kerja siswa berdasarkan pada model pembelajaran penemuan. Teknik analisis data menguji hipotesis di mana ada perbedaan yang berarti penggunaan lembar kerja siswa ini. syarat pengujian hipotesis adalah untuk melakukan tes normalitas untuk skor keterampilan dari kedua kelas sampel dan tes homogenitas untuk melihat distribusi nilai dari dua kelas sampel yang memiliki data homogen. setelah perawatan diperoleh, nilai rata-rata keterampilan dari kelas eksperimen adalah 78,62 dan untuk kelas kontrol adalah 70,10.

The purpose this study was to determine the relationship between secure attachment with achievement motivation,  the relationship between autonomy with achievement motivation, and the relationship between secure attachment and autonomy with achievement motivation in adolescents students. The population of this research was students of class X, XI and XII Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Tebing Tinggi. The sample was 103 students were take by stratified random sampling technique. This study used secure attachment scale, autonomy scale, and achievement motivation scale. Double regression analysis showed FCOUNT  33, 482 with  p = 0,000 (p0,005). The result indicate that there was significant correlation between secure attachment and autonomy with achievement. Patrially, there is a significant relationship secure attachment with achievement rxy = 0,365 with  p 0,01 and there is a significant relationship between autonomy with achievement motivation  rxy = 0,361 with  p 0,01. R2 square value was 0, 527 it means that secure attachment and autonomy simultaneously contribute 52,7% toward achievement motivation.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compensation on the teacher performance in vocational school. This research used a quantitative approach. Data collection technique was by distributing a questionnaire using a five-likert scale. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. Samples taken from each school amounted to 3 teachers from each department, so there were 42 respondents from 5 schools. Validity test used the Pearson product moment. The analysis technique used to answer the research hypothesis uses simple linear regression. The results showed that teacher compensation had an effect on teacher performance in vocational high school.

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mengetahui perbedaan hasil Pembelajaran kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan strategi pembelajaran berbasis Accelerated Learning dan strategi pembelajaran Direct Intructional pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia, (2) mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia antara kelompok siswa yang memiliki motivasi berprestasi tinggi dan rendah, dan (3) interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan motivasi berprestasi siswa terhadap hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri No 106162 Medan Estate dan SDIT Al-Hijrah 2 Lau Dendang. Teknik penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan cluster random sampling. Teknis analisis ini adalah ANAVA dua jalur pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05 yang dilanjutkan dengan uji Scheffe. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan strategi pembelajaran berbasis Accelerated Learning lebih tinggi daripada dengan strategi pembelajaran Direct, (2) rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dengan motivasi berprestasi tinggi lebih  tinggi dengan motivasi berprestasi rendah, dan (3) terdapat interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dengan motivasi berprestasi terhadap hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia. Dari hasil analisis data disimpulkan bahwa siswa dengan karakteristik motivasi berprestasi tinggi maka strategi pembelajaran yang tepat digunakan adalah strategi pembelajaran berbasis Accelerated Learning dan siswa dengan karakteristik motivasi berprestasi rendah, maka strategi pembelajaran yang tepat digunakan adalah strategi pembelajaran Direct Instructional.            Kata Kunci: strategi pembelajaran, accelerated learning, direct instructional, motivasi berprestasi, bahasa  Abstract: The purpose of this study are: (1) to find out the difference in learning outcomes of groups of students who are taught with learning strategies based on Accelerated Learning and Direct Intructional learning strategies in Indonesian subjects, (2) find out the differences in Indonesian learning outcomes between groups of students who have motivation high and low achievers, and (3) the interaction between learning strategies and students' achievement motivation towards Indonesian learning outcomes. The population in this study were grade V students of SD Negeri No 106162 Medan Estate and SDIT Al-Hijrah 2 Lau Dendang. The sampling technique is done by cluster random sampling. The technical analysis is two-way ANOVA at the significance level α = 0.05 followed by the Scheffe test. The results showed: (1) the average learning outcomes of students who were taught with learning strategies based on Accelerated Learning were higher than those with Direct learning strategies, (2) the average learning outcomes of students with higher achievement motivation with higher achievement motivation, and (3) there is an interaction between learning strategies and achievement motivation on Indonesian learning outcomes. From the results of data analysis, it was concluded that students with high achievement motivation characteristics then the appropriate learning strategy used was Accelerated Learning based learning strategy and students with low achievement motivation characteristics, then the right learning strategy used was Direct Instructional learning strategy. Keywords: learning strategies, accelerated learning, direct instructional, achievement motivation, language

This research was motivated by the successful implementation of the child care and education module in the FDS program in Lolong Belanti Village, Padang City. This study aims to see the description of the implementation of the child care and education module in the FDS program based on aspects of efficiency, effectiveness and responsiveness. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study amounted to 86 KPM. The sampling technique was cluster random sampling, with a total of 43 people. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula. The results showed that (1) the efficiency of the implementation of the Parenting and Child Education module was obtained at an interval of 93% in the very appropriate category, (2) The effectiveness of the implementation of the Parenting and Child Education module obtained an interval of 93% in the very appropriate category, and (3) the responsiveness of implementation Parenting and Child Education module, obtained 98% interval is in the very category.

This study aims to determine the effect of commitment and compensation on lecturer performance in private universities (PTS). The performance of lecturers in Indonesia, especially in PTS, is still considered unsatisfactory when compared to lecturers in state universities (PTN). The main factor that is suspected to be the cause is the commitment of the foundation as the owner and leader of the higher education institution as the manager and the compensation which is still low. The research sample was the permanent lecturers of the foundation at PTS in Palembang, totaling 44 respondents. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling at Universities, Colleges, Academies, and Polytechnics. The statistical analysis technique used multiple regression analysis with the help of SPSS software. The results showed that commitment and compensation had a significant effect on the performance of lecturers at private universities in Palembang City. The most dominant factor in the performance of PTS lecturers in Palembang City is compensation, meaning that by increasing the compensation for lecturers, their performance will increase. The results of this study really provide input for the improvement of private universities in Palembang City because when viewed from the permanent income of private universities in Palembang City, it is still below the average decent income of a lecturer.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komitmen dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja dosen pada Perguruan Tinggi Swasta (PTS). Kinerja dosen di Indonesia khususnya di PTS masih dirasa belum memuaskan jika dibandingkan dengan dosen di Perguruan Tinggi negeri (PTN). Faktor utama yang diduga menjadi penyebabnya adalah komitmen yayasan sebagai pemilik dan pimpinan perguruan tinggi sebagai pengelola serta kompensasi yang dirasa masih rendah. Sampel penelitian adalah dosen tetap yayasan pada PTS di Kota Palembang yang berjumlah 44 orang responden. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah cluster random sampling pada Universitas, Sekolah Tinggi, Akademi dan Politeknik. Teknik analisis statistik digunakan analisis regresi berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komitmen dan kompensasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja dosen pada PTS di Kota Palembang. Faktor yang paling dominan terhadap kinerja dosen PTS di Kota Palembang adalah kompensasi, artinya bahwa dengan meningkatnya kompensasi bagi dosen, maka kinerjanya akan meningkat. Hasil penelitian ini sangat memberikan masukan bagi perbaikan PTS di Kota Palembang karena jika dilihat dari pendapatan dosen tetap pada PTS di Kota Palembang masih dibawah rata-rata pendapatan layak seorang dosen.

The  purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of attitude, subjective norm and  perception of behavioral control toward intention of drug abuse behavior either partially or  simultaneously. Analyzing the magnitude of the influence and contribution of attitudes, subjective norms and perceptions of behavioral control toward intention of drug abuse behavior on students of the Department of Commerce in Bali State Polytechnic. The  sample was taken as many as 120 students, with cluster random sampling technique. Data  analysis technique is multiple regression technique. The result of data analysis shows that  attitude, subjective norm and perception of behavioral control either partially or simultaneously have a positive and significant influence toward intention of drug abuse behavior on students of the Department of Commerce in Bali State Polytechnic. The  influence of attitude, subjective norm and perception of behavioral control simultaneously  to the intention of drug abuse behavior is 0,98 including very strong category, and  contribution amount is 96%.   Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh sikap, norma subjektif dan  persepsi kontrol perilaku terhadap intensi perilaku penyalahgunaan narkoba baik secara  parsial maupun secara simultan. Menganalisis besarnya pengaruh serta kontribusi sikap, norma subjektif dan persepsi kontrol perilaku terhadap intensi perilaku penyalahgunaan  narkoba pada mahasiswa Jurusan Tata Niaga Politeknik Negeri Bali. Sampel diambil  sebanyak 120 mahasiswa, dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Teknik analisis data  adalah teknik regresi berganda. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa sikap, norma  subjektif dan persepsi kontrol perilaku secara parsial maupun secara simultan berpengaruh  positif dan signifikan terhadap intensi perilaku penyalahgunaan narkoba pada mahasiswa  Jurusan Tata Niaga Politeknik Negeri Bali. Pengaruh sikap, norma subjektif dan persepsi kontrol perilaku secara simultan terhadap intensi perilaku penyalahgunaan narkoba adalah  sebesar 0,98 termasuk kategori sangat kuat, dan besarnya kontribusi adalah sebesar 96%.

AbstrakLatar belakang penelitian yaitu pentingnya kecerdasan logis matematis dan linguistik dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar. Penelitian bertujuan memprediksi hasil belajar matematika siswa berdasarkan kecerdasan logis matematis dan linguistik. Metode penelitian yaitu korelasional-kuantitatif yang dilaksanakan di SMPN 16 Yogyakarta di kelas VII A, VII B, dan VII C tahun pelajaran 2019/2020.  Peneliti menggunakan 30 siswa sebagai sampel dan teknik cluster random sampling sebagai metode pengambilan sampel, yaitu dengan mengambil 10 siswa pada setiap cluster yang ditetapkan. Dengan penggunaan cluster random sampling, peneliti dapat menentukan sampel dari pengambilan setiap cluster, sehingga sampel yang digunakan bisa merata. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala kecerdasan logis matematis dan kecerdasan linguistik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi ganda yang dilakukan dengan SPSS 25. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif kecerdasan logis matematis dan linguistik terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Kecerdasan logis matematis dan linguistik turut andil sebagai prediktor hasil belajar matematika siswa. AbstractThe research background is the importance of mathematical logical intelligence and linguistic in influencing learning outcomes. The research aims to predict student learning outcomes based on mathematical logical intelligence and linguistics. The method of research is correlational-quantitative which was carried out at SMPN 16th Yogyakarta in classes VII A, VII B, and VII C in 2019/2020. Researchers used 30 students as samples and cluster random sampling technique as sampling method, namely by taking 10 students in each cluster that was determined. By using cluster random sampling, researchers can determine the sample from each cluster, so that the sample used can be evenly distributed. The instrument used is a scale of logical-mathematical intelligence and linguistic intelligence. The data analysis technique used multiple regression analysis which was carried out with SPSS 25. The results of the analysis showed that there was a positive effect of mathematical and linguistic logical intelligence on students' mathematics learning outcomes. Mathematical logical intelligence and linguistic contribute as a predictor of student mathematics learning outcomes.

This research is motivated by the low learning achievement of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 6 Lubuk Basung, this is forgotten because the use of smartphones in students is not good. This study aims to describe the use of smartphones in class VIII students, describe student achievement in class VIII, and see the relationship between smartphone use and student achievement in class VIII at SMP Negeri 6 Lubuk Basung. This type of research is quantitative with correlational descriptive technique. The population was all class VIII students and the sample was taken using a sampling technique, namely cluster random sampling. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula and product moment correlation. The results showed that: the use of smartphones in students was classified as poor, student learning achievement was low, and there was a significant relationship between smartphone use and student achievement in class VIII. Furthermore, it is recommended for schools to apply strict rules regarding the use of smartphones in students so that they can affect student achievement. Hope for educators and parents to be able to monitor the use of smartphones on students to avoid negative things and decrease student achievement. For further researchers to see other variables related to student achievement.
