Consumers have gradually started to show more and more interest in green products and switched their purchasing behavior to buy green products. Changes in consumers' demands have created a growing market for green products, as customers become more concerned on the environment, health, and wealth in order to protect the earth's resources and the environment. On the other hand, manufacturers have become more active and sensitive about the issue of contributing their brand image to satisfy the demand and be compatible with compelling legal regulations. Green products refer to the products that have less or no impact on the environment, help to preserve the natural environment, and can be recycled or conserved. In this chapter, the authors aim to draw a framework for green product evaluation programs and explain how they could be used in terms of marketing.

In his trilogy of space travel novels, published between 1938 and 1945, C.S. Lewis strikingly anticipates, and incarnates in imaginative form, the insights and concerns central to the modern discipline of ecotheology. The moral and spiritual battle that forms the plot of the novels is enacted and informed by the relationship between humans and the natural environment, Rebellion against, and alienation from, the Creator inevitably manifests in a violent and alienated attitude to creation, which is seen as something to be mastered and exploited. Lives and cultures in harmony with the divine will, on the other hand, are expressed in relationships of care and respect for the environment. The imaginative premise of the Trilogy is that of ecotheology; that the human relationships with God, neighbour, and earth and are deeply and inextricably intertwined.

AbstractNowadays, relationships between nonhuman animals and humans are debated, often in relation to issues associated with the risks they represent for each other. On the one hand, new diseases and accidents indicate that animals are not as innocuous as they were long thought; on the other hand, the now questioned human impact on the natural environment is considered a risk for animals. This research analyzed these contrasting images of animals in the Swiss information media. Of the five main animal figures identified over the last 30 years, this paper focuses on the Undesirable Animal and the Victim Animal. These two figures have existed throughout the observed period; in contrast to Victim Animals, however, who appear fairly infrequently, Undesirable Animals have become more and more common in the last decade, usually in relation to a specific issue (such as the avian flu). This suggests that the media more often convey the dominant anthropocentric relationship to animals, reflecting a preoccupation with the protection of humans against dangerous animals, whereas the protection of animals from humans is considered less important. Recent controversies demonstrate, however, that the frontier between “us” and “them” is regularly renegotiated.

LEGAL OBSTACLES TO DEVELOPMENT OF HOUSING CONSTRUCTIONSummary The development o f housing construction in the Polish Republic encounters numerous obstacles not only o f economic but also legal nature. The main obstacles are the following: deficiencies o f the investment processes law; excessive limitations of the construction law, lack of its stability and corruption promoting legal regulations. As a result, the investment process in Poland is lengthened and conflict-inducing and - as such - it demands changes. It is necessary that the State should become more active in establishing development- promoting legal policies and, on the other hand, less restrictive towards investment. This means that the following actions should be taken: establishing economic and legal mechanisms fostering personal initiative and entrepreneurial spirits, favorable tax regulations, broad-based provision o f credits for the housing construction businesses and making the investment process much less formal.

Rapid economic developments have led to the excessive consumption of environmental resources. Consumption patterns play a crucial role in deteriorating environmental conditions and influencing consumers to seek sustainability features while purchasing different products. Evidence is an important concept in order to reveal whether a crime really exists or not and integrate it with all its elements. There are numerous methods of crime scene investigation in forensic cases. During the judgment phase, the most important factor that will help understand and decide the manner in which the incident took place is the evidence that will provide proof with regard to the incident. Therefore, evidence helps prosecutors and judges correctly understand and establish the relationship between the crime and the criminals and prove the committed crime and ensure correct, fair and rapid execution of the trial with the aim of reaching the material truth. Evidence obtained in the crime scene provides information with regard to the manner in which the crime was committed, the time of the crime, thebehaviour of the perpetrator, the suspect, the victim and the crime scene ensuring the establishment of the relationship between them. This text is an attempt at a sociological description of the phenomenon of street trading as a form of (in)visible presence in the public space of the city. Street traders are (in)visible in the sense that, in breaking the legal regulations setting the frame for public visibility, they must be invisible to the apparatus of power in order to avoid fines and ensure their ability to achieve their aims, their livelihoods. On the one hand, street traders balance on the edge of the law, transgressing the public order, and on the other hand, they are active creators of its (in)visible portion, metaphorically speaking—protesters against the established socio-cultural structures but in reality people seeking the means to survive.
