COVID-19 has greatly disrupted lives and affected buying behavior of individuals. Countries were forced to impose lockdowns, alongside the practices of wearing masks, social distancing and hygiene have become the ‘new normal'. This situation forced consumers to re-work shopping habits, modify food patterns, develop healthy eating and online shopping behavior. With multiple waves of COVID-19 engulfing countries, pandemic effects are here to stay, suggesting food marketers explore the continuity of healthy food consumption with futuristic behavioral intention. For this purpose, this study uses a behavioral model perspective built upon the theory of planned behavior. A general review of the literature on food choice behavior is used. The literature review shows an integrated framework indicating linkages between the antecedents, consumers' behaviors, and behavior intentions/consequences from a sustainable behavioral model perspective.

The competition in fashion and textiles (FTs) industry is strong. Enterprises have to compete at all levels and need to adapt to the mobile commerce (MC) context. Mobile TradeManager (MTM) is a typical MC application and good use of it will facilitate the sales of FTs products. Plenty of prior studies on MC were developed to discuss the subjective beliefs. Motivated by the research that appeals for more attention to IT artifact itself, this paper integrates the system usability of MC into the behavioral model. To this end, the purpose of this study is twofold: (a) to identify the impact of MTM usability on consumers’ online shopping behavior of FTs production, and (b) to explore and understand how usability of MTM could be improved. Data analysis, based on a survey of 837 MTM users, reveals that perceived entertainment, MTM system usability, subjective norm, and consumer’s self-efficacy significantly affect individual’s intention to use MTM. Meanwhile, it is revealed that MTM usability is a joint function of mobile device’s system performance, WAP website’s design, and the characteristics of wireless communication networks.

This research used Theory of Planned Behavior’s model to explain factors that caused people to do online shopping by adopting Limayem et al. (2000) research. Limayem’s study explain about factors that caused online shopping behavior especially intention to do online shopping which determined by perception of the consequences of behavior, attitude towards online shopping, personal innovation, subjective norms and control behavior. The main construct of this research also adopted Limayem’s study, namely : intention and behavior to do online shopping. Intention to do online shopping consist of five constructs which are attitude towards online shopping, subjective norms, personal innovation, perception of the consequences of behavior, and control behavior. The main purpose of this research is to examine whether attitude towards online shopping, subjective norms, personal innovation, perception of the consequences of behavior, and control behavior have a positive effect to intention to do online shopping and whether intention to do online shopping have a positive effect to online shopping behavior. Empirical hypothesis are used to proof the main purpose, by using correlation as the data testing tool. The result shows that the 1st hypothesis is proven, which means there is a positive effect of attitude towards online shopping, subjective norms, personal innovation, perception of the consequences of behavior, and control behavior to intention to do online shopping. It is show by signification number 0.000. The result from 2nd hypothesis is also proven, which confirm the positive effect intention to do online shopping with online shopping behavior. But one of the construct was dropped from the early data processing caused by unsatisfactorily validity.

E-commerce is one of the information technologies that influence consumer behavior. Generation X is characterized by a higher internet adoption rate than the previous generation. As digital immigrants, this generation behavior toward using e-commerce is an interesting phenomenon to be studied. Thus, this study aims to examine the acceptance and use of e-commerce among Generation X using Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) theory. The research sample was 369 Generation X respondents in Indonesia who used e-commerce and were selected using purposive sampling. The questionnaires were distributed online and then analyzed using structural equation modeling. The findings showed that Generation X acceptance towards e-commerce were influenced by performance expectancy, hedonic motivation, habit, price value, and behavior intention. In contrast, effort expectancy, facilitating condition, and social influences) were not found to be the predictor that influenced Generation X to use e-commerce. This paper offers valuable insights for e-commerce founders in the development and refinement of e-commerce platforms.

Teen consumer behavior on fashion products is to support their presentation. Consumer behavior is happening also more facilitated by the existence of Online Shopping. This study aimed to find out whether there was a relationship between self-control with consumer online shopping behavior of fashion products in students faculty of medicine University of Sam Ratulangi force 2011.This study was analytic with cross sectional approach. Sampling techniques are used i.e. consecutive sampling. The respondents were students of Faculty of Medicine University of Sam Ratulangi batch 2011 with a total number of 174 respondents. Data were obtained by using questionnaires self-control and behavior consumer online shopping fashion products. The technique analysis of the test data by using correlation Sperman Rank with error prediction of α = 0,05. The results showed that there was a relationship between support self-control by consumer online shopping behavior of fashion products in students faculty of medicine University of Sam Ratulangi force 2011, with test correlation value obtained Sperman Rank p = 0.000 <α = 0.05. With the value of the correlation of -0.485 which belong to the category of being. The negative sign indicates the direction of the relationship means the higher self-control then the lower consumer online shopping behavior of fashion products, otherwise the lower self-control then the higher consumer behavior online shopping fashion products. Conclusion: There was a relationship between self-control and consumer online shopping behavior of fashion products among students of Faculty of Medicine University of Sam Ratulangi batch 2011.Keywords: self-control, consumer behavior, online shopping, fashion productsAbstrak: Self-control pada remaja merupakan kapasitas dalam diri yang dapat digunakan untuk mengontrol variabel-variabel luar yang menentukan tingkah laku.Kondisi emosi remaja yang tidak stabil membuat remaja menjadi konsumtif.
This paper argues the importance of an exploratory study prior to hypotheses testing in any causal-effect or explanatory predictive behavioral research. It proposes a stage of eliciting salient factors using a framework from theory of planned behavior. The paper opted for an exploratory study by firstly examining 12 academic research of online shopping behavior in Indonesia. Secondly, using the open-ended questions given to 30 respondents, the paper explored reasons respondents shop or not shop online. Those immediate responses were documented and termed as salient factors. Thirdly, the salient factors were then combined with foregone factors based on literature reviews. The final set of factors was chosen as predictive variables in order to provide more accurate potential antecedents for predicting and explaining online shopping behavior. The paper provides sound and practical guidance in eliciting salient factors and formulating a final set of factors in causal-effect/explanatory predictive behavioral research on online shopping behavior. It suggests that academic research should place importance on the stage of eliciting salient factors. Foregone factors are used to strengthen the choice of predictive variables. Both salient and foregone factors are necessary for the final set of factors in such online shopping behavior studies. The paper includes implications for the online vendors and government agencies to promote e-commerce. This paper fulfils a need to conduct exploratory study on online shopping behavior to understand such phenomenon of high internet penetration yet low rate of online buying behavior by focusing on salient factors of the studies.
