Seriously inhomogeneous track rigidity of turnout will strengthen the dynamic response of wheel/rail system and shorten its service life. Combined with complicated structure characteristics of turnout, the simulation calculation model of track rigidity had been established. Main factors which influence the track rigidity were considered, such as the rail changing section, sharing baseplate, the foundation under rail. Distribution regularity of track rigidity in turnout had been obtained. The calculation result showed that track rigidity of turnout was seriously inhomogeneous. The maximum track rigidity was 162.2kN/mm in point rail of stock line, and the minimum track rigidity was 69.5kN/mm in stock rail of switch line.

Abstract Based on “slice method”, the improved time-varying mesh stiffness (TVMS) calculation model of helical gear pair with tooth surface wear is proposed, in which the effect of friction force that obtained under mixed elasto-hydrodynamic lubrication (EHL) is considered in the model. Based on the improved TVMS calculation model, the dynamic model of helical gear system is established, then the influence of tooth wear parameters on the dynamic response is studied. The results illustrate that the varying reduction extents of mesh stiffness along tooth profile under tooth surface wear, in addition, the dynamic response in time-domain and frequency-domain present significant decline in amplitude under deteriorating wear condition.

Particle ingestion into a gas turbine can have serious effects on both performance and engine in-service reliability. Thus there exists a need for in situ monitoring and characterizing particulate matter entering an aircraft engine inlet for the purposes of engine damages estimation and prognosis. This paper presents the initial development of Ingested Debris Monitoring System (IDMS) signal processing method of characterizing the ingested particles. A theoretical analysis and simulation study were carried out to study the relationships between the characteristics of the ingested sand particles and the features of the IDMS signal both in frequency- and time-domain. A Finite-Element Modeling (FEM) for the IDMS Sensor was developed, then the validated FEM modeling was used for simulation experiments of particles ingestion under various conditions of different particle moving speeds, concentrations and charge-to-mass ratios. Results of the theoretical analysis and simulation study demonstrates the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method to provide real time information characterizing the size and concentration of ingested sand particles, and will serve as an impetus to carry out further research.

The article is devoted to the study of such an important psychological phenomenon as an attitude of women to their own motherhood. It is summarizes the study of the problem of motherhood in psychological science in general. The article analyzes the problem of the influence of the relationship with the mother in childhood on the formation of a woman's attitude to her own motherhood in adult age. It is illuminates views of foreign and national researchers on the study of this phenomenon, as well as the essence of different areas of research on this phenomenon. Based on the theoretical analysis of the literature on this topic, the concept of "motherhood", its content and psychological essence is studied. Cultural-historical, biological, physiological and psychological aspects to the study of motherhood are singled out. The main content of scientific views on the formation of the phenomenon of motherhood is generalized. The main factors influencing the development of a woman's maternal sphere and the formation of the attitude to one's own motherhood are analyzed and considered. The content of such basic concepts as "mother's image" and "maternal relations" is revealed. The psychological features of the formation of an adequate image of the mother in the theoretical analysis of the ontogenesis of the maternal sphere are analyzed. The article also reveals the dynamics of motherhood in ontogenesis. The types of maternal relations and their role in the life of a mature woman are determined, as well as the influence of these relations on the formation of a woman's attitude to her own motherhood. The influence of different types of relationships between women and their own mothers on the level of formation of their attitude to personal motherhood has been empirically studied. Two groups of women were studied, one group had a positive relationship with their own mother, and the other had a negative one. In the course of the research the differences between different types of maternal relations and the level of formation of a woman's personal attitude to motherhood are singled out.

The subject of the study is the process of formation and development of music education in Russia on the basis of the traditions of home education of children in noble families and higher classes of tsarist Russia. The activation of performing and composer art has become one of the prerequisites for the development of professional music education in Russia. Another prerequisite was domestic music, which became widespread in aristocratic houses. The work carries out a historical and theoretical analysis of the origin of the pedagogical model of music education in pre-revolutionary Russia at the beginning of the 19th century and determines the main factors that led to the formation of professional music education in Russia on a solid scientific, pedagogical and socio-cultural basis, established in the country during the 17th and 18th centuries.

CRT- 83 carpet rapier loom is a kind of high-grade rigid rapier loom, the weft yarn will give looms to demand higher stability of the weft insertion. Theoretical analysis based on the theory research of the stability of clamping weft and weft handover shows that the rapier deformation, slipping force and the depth of clamping are main factors influencing the stability of weft insertion. In order to obtain reasonable process of weft insertion, concerned with the following factors:the grip length and outrigger length of rapier, release times of clip yarn device, initial deformation angle of spring piece.

The cutting vibration is one of the main factors to affect precision machining. In this paper, the influence of tool rake angle on cutting vibration is studied at different cutting speed in turning operation, and corresponding theoretical analysis is made. The experiment results show that: the amplitude of machining vibration gradually decreases with tool rake angle increasing; while rake angle o g <0°, the biggest amplitude occurs at V=50~70m/min; While o g ≥0°, it is at V=160~180m/min. Moreover, theory and experiment foundation is presented on avoiding the biggest amplitude range so as to guarantee quality of precision machining at high speed.

In order to study dynamic response of rough road surface resulting from different speeds and loads under a certain roughness for purpose of effective enhancement pertinence for structural design of an asphalt pavement and extension of its service life, displacement meters, stress meters and strain meters are embedded at different structural layers on the rough road surface to monitor the dynamic responses of AC pavement. The result shows that roughness can dramatically increase response on an asphalt road surface resulting from load and speed.

This paper reviews the issue of making unsteady measurements involving cavitating flow in traditional test loops. Measurements of the dynamic response of a water tunnel during testing of a partially cavitating hydrofoil are presented and reviewed in the context of current theory. Data were collected from an array of pressure transducers that were distributed around the tunnel loop. In the post processing of these data, gain and phase response data were calculated. Theoretical analysis consisted of splitting the system into different elements, and included the compressibility of water in the physics used to describe each element. While solving the global system an eigenvalue solution was found, thus no node specific solution is obtained. This work is currently being extended with the aim of obtaining node specific values such that a more direct comparison between the experimental and theoretical work can be made.
