“housing” is the fundamental need for life, and more than 2/3 of the human life is spent in house or other relevant living space. The life that we spent in the house derives various human affections. House, as a solid expression for the unit of families, carries people’s common and realistic demands for comfort and ecological living environment. Being the theme part of the interior design, the inner surface decoration is also the major place for connecting the other facilities. The inner surface design may have more possibilities to bring the ecology ideas to interior design, fulfill the intension and hasten the interior design to a higher wave, and surely it would accelerate the conservation of constructions from source consuming to recycling.

Residential buildings and premises must comply with sanitary rules and regulations, but a lot of provisions of sanitary and epidemiological requirements for living conditions contradict Federal legislation and do not provide for the regulation of public relations arising in the process of ensuring sanitary and epidemiological well-being of population at all stages of arranging residential buildings and premises, therefore they require updating. International, national regulatory legal acts of a number of countries, regulatory legal acts of Russian Federation, establishing sanitary and epidemiological requirements for living conditions in residential buildings and premises, research studies carried out in Russia and abroad were used as research materials. A set of general scientific research methods: analytical, system-structural, comparative was a procedural basis of the study. Widening of the scope of sanitary standards and rules: extension of responsibility for compliance with the requirements of the document to the executive authorities, expanding the list of objects prohibited for allocation in residential buildings, measures to ensure a barrier-free environment for the disabled, requirements of inadmissibility of residential building destruction by mold, and others were suggested as the results of the study. Due to the fact that the problem of fresh air is common, the design indices of air and air exchange rate are proposed. Recommended changes regarding noise regulation assume the elimination of contradictions when correction coefficients are applied. Conclusions. Analysis of current sanitary and epidemiological requirements enabled to specify indoor environmental factors of the living space, originating from an interaction of outdoor environment, indoor environment of the living space and direct effect of the human himself and on which favorable living conditions depend, and elaborate on the reasons of violations of the established requirements. Suggested changes and additions corresponded to the main trends existing in international practice are aimed at specifying the provisions of the document, optimizing a number of standards, and eliminating contradictions. It is noted that regulation and monitoring of dwelling condition cannot be limited just by the indoor premises of the building. It is necessary to consider the living environment as a united system: human - residential unit (apartment, room, and auxiliary facilities) - building - surrounding grounds- microdistrict - residential area of the city.

The terms “interior designer” and “interior decorator” are often used interchangeably, as if they were identical professions. Although both may have the ability and talent to create beautiful rooms, the two are not synonymous. Interior decorators are primarily concerned with surface decoration, generally refers to someone who deals with finishes, surfaces, furniture, and wall coverings and no government regulation regarding the work of an interior decorator. On the other hand, an interior designer is one who is trained to create a functional and quality interior environment, qualified through education, experience and examination, so a professional designer can identify and creatively resolve issues and lead to a healthy, safe and comfortable physical environment. Referring to that definition, interior design is the art and science of understanding people’s behavior in order to create functional spaces within the building structures, an in the other hand, an interior decoration is the art of decorating to beautify a space. Although an interior designer can also make aesthetic changes to an interior space, the interior designer is a professional licensed with a licensing authority who coordinates design projects with a holistic approach. This effort includes designing the interior architecture, in addition to beautifying the space. Keywords: interior design, interior decoration, comparative study.

The rivers flow on the island of Borneo have had a significant function for human life since a long time ago. The river has had a role in the dynamics of civilization and environmental evolution in human life until now. With the construction of road infrastructure, the significance of rivers for riverside communities has also changed. This study sees how Ngaju people interpret the river in a living space that changes with development. The research was conducted in two villages which show the characteristics of different locations, society, and development rates. The villages are Talingke village on the bank of the Katingan River and Pangi Village on the bank of the Kahayan River. Data collection were through observation, interviews, and literature study. The study shows that the characteristics of the river area, the community, and the development rates affect the community in interpreting the river. On the one hand, Pangi people start to leave activities in the river, but they still hold the values of the river in their lives. On the other hand, Talingke’s people still focus their activities on the river but no longer have river values in their lives.

Abstract: The loss of environmental interests in a battle that is clearly unbalanced is one proof that people, nations in this world still do not realize how very important and valuable it is to promote the existence of a living environment. The interests of the environment are the interests of life, not only human life but the life of all living things, the most important of course is that not only life today but life in the future. What will we inherit for the lives of our children and grandchildren later? Fighting that defeats the interests of the environment, not only occurs in the practical realm of the executive, but has also penetrated the legislative line which is certainly full of political content. A more in-depth study is needed regarding this matter; it is only natural that we see the clash between the environmental laws of one and the other environmental laws, not to mention the clash with the laws and regulations below and below them. Constitutional studies are considered very important in the current conditions, especially for Indonesia. Keywords: Environtmental Law; Constitution; Regulation

Title: Understanding Interior as a Connector Interior design is a discipline that is very close to the complexities and the needs of human life. However, the intepretation and practice of interior design are often limited to decoration and contents within the physical boundaries of architecture. This paper aims to provide another perspective regarding the concept of interior that is, as a significant connector between humans and their living environment along with architecture, so that the methods and practice of interior design as well as architecture may expand more than what has been observed today. The paper is a result of a qualitative research through literature review and exploration of case studies. Results conclude to several interior and architectural design techniques based on the perception of interior as a ?connector? that could be used, such as the blurring of physical boundaries, programmatic manipulation, innovation of material continuity and configuration of architectural elements into interior elements. Through the physical as well as conceptual manipulation of space, the intepretation of interior design would no longer be limited to the contents within the physical boundaries of architecture but rather a truly important connector along with architecture, between humans and their living environment.

According to the author, the body is not only the centre of orientation in the environment, but also a factor of creative interaction with it. While we are creating our own living environment, the role of the senses is analysed according to the phenomenology of Husserl and Merleau-Ponty. On the grounds of Levinas’ concept it is shown that the body inspires the ethical relationships between participants of the environment which is created together with them as well. The body is interpreted in the context of phenomenological and hermeneutical cultural studies where culture is explained as the development of the existential project (Heidegger). The author raises a thesis that the body is a factor of existential creation as an interaction between our environment and ourselves. The article deals with the relation between embodiment and the other forms of human creative activity such as naming and limiting. The body serves as a factor of interaction among different forms of creative activity. On the grounds of Plato’s and Aristotle’s philosophy it is asserted that the erotic body gives a creative movement to the interaction between man and his environment. Our becoming in an environment, which we embody as our living space, forms the content of culture as an existential creation. There are analysed the principles of both activity (creativity) and passivity (suffering) of the body. The author shows a relation between Husserl’s passive synthesis and Levinas’ passivity in the presence of the Other. The creativity (and culture in general) of a participant of the living environment is conditioned by the interaction between activity and passivity. In this process, the identity of this participant is formed. The article deals with a combined model of both the circle and the layers. Thereby the author aims to substantiate the thesis that existential creation is a co-action of the different layers of the living environment. The phenomenology of culture here is developed as an interaction of different existential layers (ethical, aesthetical, technical) in which the body plays an important role. The theses raised in the article are illustrated with examples of multilayer art (films). Keywords: body, environment (Umwelt), existence, creation, phenomenology, eros.       Progress of technology and its developed is going so rapidly nowadays and it provide big affect on human life, some of them were education and daily life. Due to its development we also know the other form of calendar which is in digital form that we usually found in gadgets such as handphone or tablets and surely it is portable. Rinfo which is an email supporting facilities for the needs of Raharja College may help Pribadi Raharja in coordination and communication about task and/or event. Rinfo has some applications that integrated with Rinfo itself, such as RinfoGroup, RinfoSites, RinfoDocs, RinfoDrive, RinfoH and RinfoCal. RinfoCal is an calendar application that can be use as schedule time reminder application and it will send any reminder not only to one person but some or couple persons. RinfoCal may sent an pop-up notification or email notification. This paper will discuss about what is RinfoCal, how to use it, what’s the purpose of using RinfoCal, benefit of RinfoCal and so on. But, instead of its benefit, there are also some shortages including many people who using Rinfo doesn’t get the benefit of RinfoCal because they just pretending that RinfoCal is just an usual calendar.  This paper also present six problems from conventional reminder that will solved by RinfoCal fews are just doing reminders only once at a time or just remembering only one person, a mind mapping to simplify the analyze of problem and make the best solution, eight literature reviews that had been done to help analyzing problems of research.

Education is essential for human life. Because with education, humans will experience a change, from not knowing to know. It can be said, that education is a noble effort in order to eradicate foolishness and humanizing human. According to what Immanuel Kant said that human could be human because of education. In Indonesia, the issues of the curriculum which is a government policy are one of the problems in education. The demands of the curriculum that want to measure the ability of the student just from numbers are one problem in the education world. Because education obviously cannot be narrowed down jus like that in numbers. These problems clearly cannot be solved easily. In one side, it must be admitted that the education system in Indonesia is very towards achieving a result. On the other side, a teacher must focus on teaching about true values. Based on the description above, this article will discuss the comparative philosophy of education in Y.B Mangunwijaya and Ki Hadjar Dewantara, and their relevance to education in Indonesia.
