It is, therefore, considered important for schools to recognise and accept sexuality as part of the development process of the child. Professor Kader Asmal (previous South African Minister of Education) suggested that the earlier the school begins to teach learners about sexuality, the better because they can be easily misled by their peers if proper guidance regarding their sexuality is not given.Aim: The current study was conducted to assess the awareness of teenagers on the prevention of teenage pregnancy (TP) in six secondary school learners situated in the Soutpansberg-West circuit, Makhado Municipality in Limpopo province.Setting: The study was conducted at six secondary schools situated in the Soutpansberg-West circuit, Makhado Municipality in Limpopo province in 2014.Methodology: A quantitative descriptive survey study was conducted where data were collected, using self-administered questionnaires, from 381 systematically sampled participants from six secondary schools situated in the Soutpansberg-West circuit, Makhado Municipality in Limpopo province. Data were analysed descriptively using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software, version 22.0. Necessary approval procedures and ethical clearance were obtained prior to data collection. Results: Ninety-four percent of participants agreed that TP can be prevented through abstaining from sex, whilst 65% of participants agreed that TP could be prevented by using contraceptives such as pills and injections. Eighty-three percent of participants agreed that T Pcould be prevented through the use of condoms. Seventy-four percent participants disagreed that bathing after sex prevents teenage pregnancies. Furthermore, 28% participants agreed that TP can be prevented by oral sex. Conclusion: The conclusion drawn was that learners are aware of the measures for preventing TP.Keywords: Effectiveness, Sexuality Education, Teenage Pregnancy, Teenagers.

Unplanned teenage pregnancy constitutes an important health problem, whilst contraceptive services are free throughout South Africa and the number of Termination of Pregnancy (TOP) services is increasing. The purpose of this study was to assess the knowledge, attitudes and practices of secondary school girls towards contraception in Thulamela Municipality of Limpopo Province, South Africa. A quantitative descriptive study design was used and respondents were selected by convenience sampling from a population of secondary school girls, the sample consisting of 273 girls in Grades 10–12. A self-administered questionnaire was used to collect data and analysed by computing frequencies and percentages using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences. Findings showed that respondents were aware of different contraceptive methods that can prevent pregnancy. However, most did not have knowledge of the emergency contraceptive, intra-uterine device and female condom. Pressure from male partners, fear of parental reaction to the use of contraceptives, reluctance to use contraceptives, poor contraceptive education and lack of counselling were seen as the main causes of ineffective contraceptive use and non-utilisation. Possible modalities of intervention deal with providing contraceptive counselling and care to empower these school girls to make informed choices on reproductive health.

This  research  was  aimed To know the level of knowledge of SMKN 1 PST students about preventing the spread of the Corona Virus with 5M. This research is a quantitative study using a quantitative descriptive research design using univariate data analysis. Univariate analysis to describe descriptively the frequency distribution of respondents' demographic data consisting of: gender, age, class. The knowledge level variable will describe the amount and level of knowledge with a level presentation. The results showed that the average age of the respondents was at the age of 17 years, namely 52 people (53.11%). The gender of the majority of the respondents was 50 men (52.08%). And each response is in the same class average between class X, XI and XII, namely 34.33%, 33.33% and 32.39%. Presentation of knowledge level: good knowledge 40 people (41.67%), sufficient knowledge 36 people (37.50%) and less knowledge 20 people (20.83%). PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to investigate the extent to which the attitudinal loyalty of customers of small and medium apparel businesses is influenced by their perceptions of trust, commitment and satisfaction. In turn, the influence of their attitudinal loyalty on future behavioural loyalty is established.Design/methodology/approachA quantitative descriptive research approach was employed and questionnaires were administered to customers of three selected small and medium enterprise (SME) brands in the metropolitan city of Gaborone, Botswana. A total of 260 questionnaires were suitable for data analysis. The interrelationship of the constructs was analysed via structural equation modelling. In addition, the measurement and structural models were assessed.FindingsTrust, commitment and satisfaction have a positive and significant influence on the attitudinal loyalty of SME customers, while attitudinal loyalty has a positive and significant influence on their behavioural loyalty.Research limitations/implicationsThe tested model confirms the hypothesised relationships between SME customers’ trust, commitment, satisfaction, attitudinal loyalty and behavioural loyalty. Attitudinal loyalty is linked to its three antecedents (trust, commitment and satisfaction) and its outcome, behavioural loyalty.Practical implicationsThe findings assist the management of SMEs in understanding how the cultivation of trust, commitment and satisfaction can foster attitudinal loyalty, ultimately leading to improved behavioural loyalty.Originality/valueThe current study contributes to new knowledge on the interrelationship of selected relationship quality dimensions, attitudinal loyalty and behavioural loyalty among SME customers in the apparel industry of Botswana. Few research studies have examined how attitudinal loyalty relates to its antecedents and outcome in Botswana, as an emerging African economy.

The effect of caregiving is proven on the behavior of children of mothers who attend religious activities that are more controlled than children of mothers who do not attend religious activities. Children tend not to be temperament, able to resist emotions, help each other, easily forgive and get used to pray before and after doing activities. Stress is a complex hereditarily decided example of the reaction of the human physiology to a requesting circumstance. The component of observation shows that human pressure reactions reflect contrasts in character, just as contrasts in physical quality or general wellbeing. Pregnancy is a period of incredible changes, and numerous mothers do feel worried eventually. This is common and not in any way surprising as observing a mother need to adapt to the obligations that filled her life before she fell pregnant just as set herself up, mentally and physically for another appearance. The present study aims to assess the stress level among third trimester Primigravida mother. A quantitative descriptive research design was conducted among 60 Primigravida mothers. Convenient sampling technique was used to select samples. A semi-structured interview was used to collect demographic data, and the stress level was assessed using a stress scale. Mothers were explained about the purpose of the study and the psychological changes during pregnancy. The data were collected and analyzed. The study results show that there is a moderate to severe level of stress among the third trimester Primigravida mother. This reveals there is a need for the stress assessment among the Primigravida mother and non-pharmacological practices to reduce stress to improve fetal development and pregnancy outcome.
