Background: Supervision forms an integral part of psychiatric nursing. The value of clinicalsupervision has been demonstrated widely in research. Despite efforts made toward advancedpsychiatric nursing, supervision seems to be non-existent in this field.Objectives: The aim of this study was to explore and describe advanced psychiatric nursepractitioners’ ideas and needs with regard to supervision in private practice in order tocontribute to the new efforts made in advanced psychiatric nursing in South Africa.Method: A qualitative, descriptive, exploratory, and contextual design using a phenomenological approach as research method was utilised in this study. A purposive sampling was used. Eight advanced psychiatric nurse practitioners in private practice described their ideas and needs for supervision during phenomenological interviews. Tesch’s method of open coding was utilised to analyse data. After data analysis the findings were recontextualised within literature.Results: The data analysis generated the following themes – that the supervisor should have or possess: (a) professional competencies, (b) personal competencies and (c) specificfacilitative communication skills. The findings indicated that there was a need for supervision of advanced psychiatric nurse practitioners in private practice in South Africa.Conclusion: This study indicates that there is need for supervision and competent supervisors in private practice. Supervision can be beneficial with regard to developing a culture of support for advanced psychiatric practitioners in private practice and also psychiatric nurse practitioners.

Homeschooling could be an education alternatives, the substance of activities of the school. The child is learns everything under control and supervise of parent. Families must have a strong commitment within the practice. This study is a qualitative phenomenological approach focused discusses a phenomenon about homeschooling. The aim of this research is to know the methods of study used in the process of teaching and learning results gained from the learning process through homeschooling. Collecting data is using the method of observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive method and the validity of data is done by triangulation. The results are: 1) in behavioristic kids are love learning because fun and can be anywhere. Cognitively, kids can customize his ability to learn. In humanistic kids are aware to the conditions and environments around them. 2) Learning Outcome demonstrate the kids progress in cognitive, affective and psychomotor.

A number of adolescents have been observed drinking alcohol, pushing and abusing drugs and also stealing cars. A lot of adolescents idle in the township streets, girls are falling pregnant and dropping out of school. No research has been done to elicit the opinions of families on the everyday life of the adolescents in this township. The objectives of this research were twofold, namely: To explore and describe the families’ opinions on the everyday life of adolescents in a specific township in Swaziland, and to describe guidelines for advanced psychiatric nurse practitioners to assist these families to mobilize resources in order to promote, maintain and restore mental health as integral part of health of adolescents in this township. A qualitative, exploratory, descriptive and contextual design was used where the research was conducted in two phases. Trustworthiness measures as well as ethical measures were applied throughout the research. Five categories were identified from the result of the focus group interviews with families: Adolescents presenting ineffective communication patterns due to lack of support from their families; adolescents engaging into risky lifestyles related to lack of support and healthy relationships with their parents; families unable to create a supportive and conducive environment for their adolescents due to their focus on own family stumbling blocks and non-availability of recreational centres related to lack of a supportive and conducive environment in the community and inadequate accommodation leading to overcrowding. Guidelines for advanced psychiatric nurse practitioners were deducted from identified themes and the literature control.

Psychiatric nurse practitioners (PNPs) working with mental health care users presenting with acute symptoms work in a complex environment. This environment is characterised by mental health care users who may present with a history of violence, sexual assault and substance misuse.The objectives of this study were twofold: firstly, to explore and describe the experiences of PNPs working with mental health care users (MHCUs) presenting with acute symptoms; and secondly, to make recommendations for the advanced PNPs to facilitate promotion of the mental health of PNPs with reference to nursing practice, research and education.A qualitative, explorative, descriptive and contextual design was used. The target population was PNPs working with MHCUs presenting with acute symptoms in a public mental health care institution in Gauteng. Data were collected by means of four focus group interviews involving 21 PNPs. The researcher made use of drawings, naïve sketches and field notes for the purpose of data triangulation. Data were analysed in accordance with Tesch’s method of open coding.The three themes that emerged were: PNPs experienced working with these MHCUs as entering an unsafe world where care became a burden; they experienced negative emotional reactions and attitudes towards these MHCUs that compromised quality nursing care; and they made a plea for a nurturing environment that would enhance quality nursing care.The PNPs suggest skills and competency development, organisational support, and a need for external resources. Creation of a positive environment and mobilisation of resources as well as the identification and bridging of obstacles are essential in the promotion of the overall wellbeing and mental health of PNPs.

This study aims to examine more deeply the evaluation of the ideal tartil al-Quran learning in Ibn Khaldun's view. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method using a phenomenological approach. The data collection techniques use observation data, interviews and related references. This study aims to describe 1) the form of cohesion contained in the news Watching Sakinah Movies, UIN Yogyakarta Give Praise Students and 2) describing the forms of coherence contained in the news Watching Sakinah Film, Students of UIN Yogyakarta Give Praise. The subjects used in this study were news of watching Sakinah film, UIN Yogyakarta students giving praise, and the objects used were sentences containing grammatical cohesion, a form of lexical cohesion. The approach used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach. The data in this study are sentences in the news of Watching Sakinah Movies, This student is a method of literature study. While the method of data analysis in this study is descriptive method analysis method, the method used to analyze and describe cohesion markers and analyze markers of coherence. Test The results of the study show that in the news of watching Sakinah films, UIN Yogyakarta Beri Pujian students have varied markers of cohesion and coherence in the Tebuireng Online news discourse. Cohesion markers were found to reference (3), substitution (1), ellipsis (2), conjunction (3), collocation (1), and markers of coherence found cause-effect relationships (2), relationship coherence suggestions — goals (1), coherence temporal relations (1), and coherence of causal relationships (1).

This study aimed to describe the value of cohesion and coherence contained in the translation of the Qur'an surah Al Zalzalah. This study was a qualitative descriptive research, research data collection techniques using three techniques namely, inventory, rading and understanding, and record keeping. The data analysis used the coding of data, classification data, and the determination of the data. The results showed that the cohesion markers used in the translation of surah Al Zalzalah discourse are: 1) reference, 2) pronouns, ie pronouns second person, and third, the relative pronoun, the pronoun pointer, pen pronouns and pronouns owner, 3 ) conjunctions, namely temporal conjunctions, coordinating conjunctions, subordinating conjunctions, and conjunctions koorelatif, and 4) a causal ellipsis. It mean that there was a coherence in the translation of surah Al Zalzalah discourse are: the addition or addition, pronouns, repetition or repetition, match words or synonyms, in whole or in part, a comparison or ratio of conclusions or results. Keywords: Cohesion, Coherence, sura Al Zalzalah AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai kohesi dan koherensi yang terdapat dalam terjemahan Al-Qur’an surah Al Zalzalah. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan tiga teknik yakni, inventarisasi, baca simak, dan pencatatan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pengodean data, pengklasifikasian data, dan penentuan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemarkah kohesi yang digunakan dalam wacana terjemahan surah Al Zalzalah adalah: 1) referensi, 2) pronomina, yaitu kata ganti orang kedua, dan ketiga, kata ganti penghubung, kata ganti penunjuk, kata ganti penanya dan kata ganti empunya, 3) konjungsi, yaitu konjungsi temporal, konjungsi koordinatif, konjungsi subordinatif, dan konjungsi koorelatif, dan 4) elipsis kausal. Sarana koherensi yang terdapat di dalam wacana terjemahan surah Al Zalzalah adalah: penambahan atau adisi, pronomina, pengulangan atau repetisi, padan kata atau sinonim, keseluruhan atau bagian, komparasi atau perbandingan simpulan atau hasil.Kata Kunci: Kohesi, Koherensi, surah Al Zalzalah

The pronunciation of inappropriate words to exemplify, thus rendering the child devoid of good manners and word-tours, and often against parenthood, is because her parents are unspoiled when she speaks disrespectful and also against parental sayings becomes a phenomenon often encountered in society particularly in coastal communities. Family is very important in child education. The problem formula in this study is (1) How is the behaviour of children in the family? (2) What kind of factors affects the child's crisis of morality in the family? The purpose of the study is (1) to find out how child behaviour in the family is. A speech can also lead to a description of the principles of conversation. This also happened in Las Day Production's video “Cara Kodein Cowok Biar Cepet Merid”. This research aims to find out and describe the female characters’ utterances or the implicit forms of the in the video "Cara Kodein Cowok Biar Cepet Merid" by Last Day Production. The approach in this research uses pragmatic and qualitative descriptive. The data collection technique in this study was using the note-taking technique. The data analysis techniques used in this study were data triangulation, theory triangulation, and source triangulation. Triangulation of data was generated by recording the speech of a female character in the video "Cara Kodein Cowok Biar Cepet Merid" by Last Day Production. The theory triangulation refers to pragmatic theory, while the source triangulation is the video "Cara Kodein Cowok Biar Cepet Merid" by Last Day Production, which is downloaded on YouTube. The research results in the video "Cara Kodein Cowok Biar Cepet Merid” have 8 stories of female characters that contain implicatures.

In the November 1974 issue of Pediatrics McAtee and Silver discussed pediatric and school nurse practitioners, commenting that many in the nursing profession are dissatisfied with their role. The needs and desires of nurses and, in the commentaries, the needs of pediatricians were discussed but no one spoke for the needs of children and their families. None of the principals involved have ever really been in the primary practice of pediatrics. Few pediatric professors have had any successful long-term experience in private practice—the one place where they might learn the needs of parents and children and understand the effects of long-term health supervision.

To the Editor: The provocative article by McDaniel et al. (Pediatrics 56:504, October 1975) regarding private practice immunization stimulated me to carry out our own audit, following the authors' criteria as closely as possible. Ours is a three-pediatrician, urban group which utilizes three full-time pediatric nurse practitioners. We reviewed 400 “active” cases (at least one office contact in the past year).
