The study examined trends in development activities of the Anambra State Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development between 1991 and 2013. The study identified the trends in policy and programme initiation, staff recruitment and development, and funding, in the ministry. It employed secondary data through records, documents and annual reports. Results show variation in the percentages of programme initiated and implemented within each year between 1991 and 2013. The ministry did not participate in formulating policies in 46% of the programmes implemented in the state. However, 46% of all the programmes initiated had been concluded, while 54% of all the programmes initiated in the state are still active. The results showed that a total of 403 staff were recruited within the period into the various departments, with the highest number of recruitment (252) occurring between 1991-and 1995 and the least (22) took place from 2006 to 2010. The majority (91) of staff recruited had the ordinary national diploma (OND) and only 30 and 3 persons had the bachelor of science and doctor of philosophy, respectively. The trend in the funding pattern dwindled over time. Out of the five listed human capacity building programmes, staff trainings were organised only between 1991-1995 and 1996-2000). There is need for a change in government commitment to agriculture in the area of funding, human resource and policy as these are key drivers of development. Government should increase the proportion of manpower and create adequate opportunity for training and development of staff of the ministry. Purpose The purpose of this paper is to build a typology of social entrepreneurship in Russian Federation and describe the related models based on a deep understanding of the current institutional context and the positioning of social entrepreneurship in the arena of market and non-market activities. Design/methodology/approach This paper is based on secondary data sources including legal documents, annual reports and websites of the social entrepreneurship-related organizations. Findings This paper finds that social entrepreneurship in Russia is located between civil society, the State and the market and it is the State that became a main driving force behind social entrepreneurship development. Originality/value This paper is the first to perceive the social entrepreneurship in modern Russia as a phenomenon with “semi-official” status. The original models and the very typology of social entrepreneurship are based on the newly introduced concept of “social-entrepreneurial mission”.

This study aims to research credit solutions for sustainable marine economic development in Tra Vinh Province on the case of aquaculture by using themethod of collecting secondary data from reports of the State Bank in Tra Vinh Province, Department of Statistics Tra Vinh Province, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Tra Vinh Province in the period of 2016 to 2018. By using statistical and general, evaluating and analyzing methods, the authors have assessed the realities of financing credit, clarified advantages and challenges for marine economy in Tra Vinh Province. Thereby, the study has implied policies for sustainable development of marine economy in Tra Vinh Province in the coming time.

Dairy sector has great contribution to the GDP of the country has come from the milk dairy cooperative sector. Milk and milk products are perhaps one of the very few consumption items common in all cultures around the world. Indian dairy Co-operative Societies sector contributes the large share in agricultural gross domestic products. Presently there are around 70,000 village dairy cooperative societies across the country. The main aim of this paper is to analyses the performance of Milk procurement and sales by dairy co-operative societies in Kerala. The study based on secondary data has been collected from dairy co-operative society’s annual reports and the period of study from 1995 to 2018 and 2018 to 2020, expressed that the procurement has shown an increasing trend throughout the state of Kerala.

This research paper investigates the effect of cost implications of Training and Development on organizational performance of selected corporate organizations in Lagos State. The study adopted explanatory research design. The target population for the study is the Staff of the selected organizations. This comprises of 224members of staff from which a sample size of 142 respondents was derived using random sampling technique. Both primary and secondary sources of data were employed. The primary source of data were gotten through administration of questionnaires to the selected HR staff of the concerned entities while secondary data were retrieved from annual reports, related and current journals, articles and textbooks. Quantitative and qualitative data were gathered and the quantitative data was analyzed using SPSS 21.0. Correlation Coefficient was calculated for initial exploration of the relationships between the variables. This helped to indicate the size and direction of the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The hypothesis tested revealed that training and development have positive impact on organizational performance. It confirmed that cost of Off the-Job training and development of HR influences organizational productivity and efficiency. The findings established a positive correlation between training and development and Organizational Performance. It was therefore recommended that managers of corporate organizations should emphasize on regular and relevant workshop and training for manpower development.

Training and development strengthen those skills, competencies and capabilities that an employee needs to improve his performance. Well-articulated training and development programs help the employees to achieve job enrichment and employer to attain improved organizational performance. This study assesses the extent to which training and development improves employees’ performance in the Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO). The study adopts a mixed research method. Both primary and secondary sources of data were used; primary data were through the administration of 331questionnaires and interview. A 331sample size of respondents was used; interviews were also conducted to 20 management staff of the KEDCO headquarter and regional offices in Kano, Katsina and Jigawa states. The secondary data used in this study include publications, such as annual reports, journals, conference papers, gazettes, circulars and unpublished dissertations as well as textbooks. Both descriptive and inferential statistics were used in presenting and analyzing the data for the study. The study found a significant relationship between training and development and employee job satisfaction in Kano Electricity Distribution Company. The study recommends that a concerted effort should be made by the management of Kano Electricity Distribution Company to ensure that training needs analysis are observed when selecting employees for training in the Kano Electricity Distribution Company.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of political connection toward the earnings management of service sector companies with control variables firm size and audit quality. Firm�s political connection measured by using dummy variable. Earnings management is proxied by discretionary accrual which is measured by using Modified Jones Model. The research data applied in this study are the secondary data which are taken from the annual reports of service sector companies that listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange of 2016-2017 periods. There are 330 observations fit as sample, which are taken by using purposive sampling method. Data are processed by applying the multiple linear regression test. The result show that the political connection had positive but not significant influence to earnings management. Firm size had negative but not significant influence to earnings management. Whereas the audit quality had a negative and significant influence to earnings management.

The Rural development generally refers to the process of improving the quality of life and economic welfare of people living in relatively isolated and sparsely populated areas. Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) is considered as a “Silver Bullet” for eradicating rural poverty and unemployment, by way of generating demand for productive labour force in villages. It provides an alternative source of livelihood which will have an impact on reducing migration, restricting child labour, alleviating poverty, and making villages self-sustaining through productive assets creation such as road construction, cleaning up of water tanks, soil and water conservation work, etc. For which it has been considered as the largest anti-poverty programme in India. In this paper, based on the secondary data, an attempt has been made to comprehensively understand the development effort to rebuild the rural life and livelihood on the basis of various secondary data.

This article reports on a proposed evaluation plan that has been developed to assess the work done by the State Information Technology Agency (SITA). The SITA programme was implemented in response to the South African government’s call to improve the lives of the populations in some rural areas through technology. The programme was meant to address slow development in  rural  areas  that  lack  technological  innovations  and  advances.  In  the proposed evaluation plan a review is made of secondary data, deciding how strategic priorities are to be determined, as well as analysis of the rural context environment. The researcher gives an account of how the evaluation strategies are to be piloted and rolled out thereafter. Lessons learnt are recorded and reported upon. A proposed evaluation plan will be developed, based on the lessons learnt in line with the objectives of the project.

In banking industries, employees are entrusted with different roles and responsibilities, and training enables them to carry out these roles and responsibilities efficiently by let them to learn new things. Moreover, it will prepare them to take up higher responsibilities in the future. Therefore, this study focuses to analyze the employee perceptions on effectiveness of Training Programs in Myanmar Citizens Bank (MCB).  By using the descriptive research method, primary data are collected from the responsible persons and employees of MCB in head office, branches. Secondary data are gathered and scrutinized from relevant text books, records and annual reports from MCB. The research revealed that there are four kinds of training programs in MCB. Moreover, this paper revealed that MCB successfully delivered its training programs in year 2015 to 2018 and the trainees have positive perceptions on effectiveness of training programs in MCB. Based on these results, this paper pointed out the important facts that can give improvement actions for effective and efficient training programs in Myanmar Citizen Banks.

<p align="center"> </p><p><em>As happened to the Notary Eli SatriaPilo, S.H, Mkn, who was appointed as the Notary who made the Deed of Relinquishment of Land Rights in the Land Acquisition activities for the Construction of Campus III of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Padang which was located in Sungai Bangek District, Padang</em><em> </em><em>in 2010. The method used was descriptive, in which describing the applicable legislation associated with legal theory in the facts and realities about the Notary’s Responsibility in Making Deed of Land Acquisition for the construction of Campus III of IAIN Padang in Sungai</em><em> </em><em>Bangek. This study used a Normative Juridical approach, in which researching by using and processing secondary data or literature related to the</em><em> </em><em>study. The data collected were in the form of primary data obtained from the District Court of Padang, secondary data obtained from secondary legal materials and primary legal materials. Based on the study, it was found that the role of Notary Eli</em><em> </em><em>Satria</em><em> </em><em>Pilo, in the land acquisition of campus III IAIN was proven to have misused the authority resulting in violation of the Notary Ethics Code and was responsible for accepting termination disrespectfully. Furthermore, he was also shown to be committing a Criminal Corruption made based on the Deed of Relinquishment of Land Rights in the land acquisition for the construction of Campus III of IAIN Padang, so that the State incurred losses of Rp. 1</em><em>.</em><em>946</em><em>.</em><em>701</em><em>.</em><em>050 (one billion nine hundred forty-six million seven hundred one thousand and fifty rupiahs). And he was responsible for receiving and carrying out the sentence that had been handed down by the District Court of Padang, a prison sentence of 4 (four) years, and paying a fine of Rp. 200</em><em>.</em><em>000</em><em>.</em><em>000 (two hundred million rupiahs)</em><em>.</em></p><p> </p>
