The article features project method in teaching Russian as a foreign language to students of Iranian universities. The research objective was to study the opinions of teaching staff (13 interviewees). The research was based on the project theory and personality-oriented approach. The survey showed that most teachers consider this method an indicator of professional skill and argue that project activities affect the motivation of teachers and students. Most of them implement project method in their work. However, they also point out the following problems: a lack of time and effort to create and apply pedagogical innovations, as well as a lack of material incentives and support from colleagues; problems associated with the transition from the role of a mentor to the role of a consultant; difficulties in applying research and creative methods. The results can be used to teach Russian to Iranian university students.

The study population consisted of students and teachers of Balingual Grammar School Molyko Buea. 210 Form Five History students and 3 teachers of the same class made up the sample. The sample school was selected using the convenience sampling technique while the sample for students and teachers was selected using the purposive sampling procedure. A focused group discussion and classroom observation schedules were used to collect data. The focused group discussion data were analyzed using thematic analysis, and the observation data were analyzed by simply counting the number of classes where a particular toll was used. The findings revealed that the prescribed learner-centred teaching methods were only partially used, but effectively used in these instances. Therefore the use of teaching methods did not significantly influence learners’ development of competences. Findings from teachers, students and observation were conclusive that evaluation methods were very effective in enabling leaners develop the required competences. Based on the findings, it was recommended that policy makers multiply opportunities for teacher’s professional development to improve on the quality of teaching and enable learners acquire the expected learning outcomes.

Interest in offering Entrepreneurship Education (EE) to all kinds of university students is increasing. Therefore, universities are increasing the number of entrepreneurship courses intended for students from different fields of study and with different education levels. Through a single case study of the Contamination Lab of Turin (CLabTo), we suggest how EE may be taught to all kinds of university students. We have combined design methods with EE to create a practical-oriented entrepreneurship course which allows students to work in transdisciplinary teams through a learning-by-doing approach on real-life projects. Professors from different departments have been included to create a multidisciplinary environment. We have drawn on programme assessment data, including pre- and post-surveys. Overall, we have found a positive effect of the programme on the students’ entrepreneurial skills. However, when the data was broken down according to the students’ fields of study and education levels, mixed results emerged.

The  article  is  focused  on  theoretical  argumentation  of the  dialogue  as  a  mechanism  for  personality  axiogenesis in  educational process and separation of essential dialogue aspects in higher educational environment.  The author argues that general cultural orientations are main goals of modern higher education in the context of its  humanization. This allows to replace the actual cognitive approach with sense creation one, where both teacher and  student are active subjects of educational dialogue. It is shown that educational dialogue is an external stimulus of  internal initiation of personal and professional formation in future specialists, as well as formation of their value- semantic sphere. The level of dialogue in educational environment can serve as a measure of implementation of  personality and developmental potential in education. On the basis of empirical research it is determined that  dogmatism,  formalization  of  educational  process,  and  closeness,  stereotyped  role  of  teachers’  and  students’  behavior  are  the  greatest  obstacles  for  educational  environment  becoming  more  dialogue  driven  in  real-life  educational process.

Integrating knowledge and education has become a major issue in Malaysia in the context of globalization. This study develops a teacher-centered Qur’anic methodology based on the integration of acquired (‘aqlī) and revealed (naqlī) knowledge as regards content, as well as the integration of teachers’ role in a teaching-learning process designed to empower students to manage “self” and “system.” It further investigates the existing curriculum and institutional efforts to integrate these two types of knowledge, students’ understanding of the integrated knowledge and its learning process, as well as how the teachers and lecturers understand this integrated knowledge and apply it to their teaching methods. Data collected through interviews and surveys of participating school students and teachers, as well as university students and lecturers, revealed several issues that need to be addressed.
