The main aim of the study was to examine the extent of user‟s satisfaction with physical facilities ofuniversity libraries in South-South Nigeria.The study adopted descriptive research design.Thepopulation of the study consisted of 21,162 library registered students of three federal and three state university libraries in South-South Nigeria.Purposive sampling technique wasused to select a total of 1056 respondents from sixuniversities.A four point Likert questionnaireentitled:“Users‟ Satisfaction with Facility Questionnaire (USFQ)” was used as instrument of data collection. The data were analysed with frequency counts, percentages, mean and standard deviation. Thestudy revealedthatusers‟ satisfaction with reprographic facilities, lightning points facilities, shelving facilities, air condition facilities, seating arrangement and building facilities are high. The study concludedthat if users in university libraries are not satisfiedwith the provision of library facilities then something other than facilities is responsiblefor their satisfaction. It was recommendedthat the library buildings should be properly sitedandbuilt to accommodate materials needed to aid academic research and other purposes of the library.

The study investigated undergraduate’s awareness, utilization and satisfaction with online public access catalogue (OPAC) in selected University libraries in Nasarawa State, Nigeria. Four (4) objectives with corresponding research questions guided the study. The study adopted survey research design. The population of the study was 7,233 registered library users (undergraduates) in two (2) public universities in Nasarawa State, namely Federal University Lafia (FULAFIA) and Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK). The sample size for the study was 379 drawn using Taro-Yemene’s formula for sample size determination. Proportionate stratified random sampling technique was used to select the sample of respondents from the two (2) universities under study (i.e.) FULAFIA with 150 and NSUK, 299 respectively. Questionnaire was used as instrument for data collection. A total of 379 questionnaire were distributed and 362 retrieved for analysis representing a percentage of 95.5%. Data was analyzed using frequency counts; mean scores and standard deviation. Findings of the study revealed that, undergraduates were highly aware of Online Public Access Catalogue in selected University Libraries in Nasarawa State. The finding also revealed, undergraduates in selected university libraries in Nasarawa State utilized OPAC to a little extent and students were not satisfied with the use of OPAC, hence their extent of satisfaction derived from the use of OPAC was little extent. Findings further revealed factors affecting use of OPAC by undergraduates in selected university libraries to include: library guide to explain how to use the OPAC is not available, unstable power supply, library staff not friendly, network/server problems, lack of computer systems, among others. Finally, conclusion and recommendations were made based on the findings of the study.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to identify the challenges affecting disaster training in federal and state university libraries in Southwest Nigeria with a view to finding ways of overcoming them. Design/methodology/approach Having adopted the descriptive research design, 14 university libraries (seven each of federal and state) were selected from the Southwest geo-political zone of Nigeria. The total enumeration sampling technique was employed. Questionnaire and interview methods were used for data collection. The three research questions that guided the study were analyzed using descriptive statistics such as mean, standard deviation and ranking. Judgments were drawn using real limit of numbers and 2.50 as criterion mean. Findings Results emanated from the study showed that university libraries in the studied region are more equipped to fight fire disaster than any other emergency which is why fire drills and exercises are the prevailing disaster training received by library staff. It was also found that inadequate disaster facilities and equipment as well as poor funding were the greatest challenges confronting disaster training. The provision of adequate disaster facilities and equipment with the constitution of disaster prevention and response team was found as the most potent strategy for addressing the identified challenges. Originality/value The study lends strong empirical evidence for the underlining factors affecting disaster training in federal and state university libraries as well as academic libraries in general. The strategies for addressing the identified challenges are of more significance.

This study aims to obtain a description of the condition of adversity quotient among college students of Bimbingan Konseling Islam (BKI). This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of descriptive research. The sample in this study amounted to 93 college students of BKI IAIN Tulungagung. The sample taken by using simple random sampling technique. The data collection instrument used for this study using Adversity Quotient inventory and data analysis is done by using standard deviation and mean. The results showed that the adversity quotient levels among collage students of BKI is in high category 35.48%, medium category 53.76%, anda low category 10.75%.

The main purpose of this research was to analyse the children anxiety in both public and private schools. The main objectives of the study were (a) to identify the factor that involve to increase fear among children; (b) to investigate the positive and negative impact of anxiety on students academic performance; (c) to analyse the children learning state of mind during fear and submissive attitude. This descriptive research involved the data collection from ninety (90) teachers, three hundred and seventy five (375) students and forty (40) parents. They were selected by convenience sampling technique. It is found that when children are in fearful environment they feel panic attack and they participate less in class when they are in state of fear while most of the children think that stress, verbal threading and punishment is the basic cause of anxiety among early grades children.

The study examined entrepreneurship education (EE) as a veritable tool for employment generation among Nigerian graduates. A survey research design was used for the study. The population of the study was all the 987 final year students of faculty of education 2019/2020 academic session in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. Stratified sampling technique was used to select 10 % of students in each department, making a total of 99 students who constituted the study sample. The instrument for data collection for the study was a 31-item researcher-constructed questionnaire divided into four clusters. The instrument was validated by experts and tested for reliability using Cronbach’s alpha which yielded a reliability index of 0.71. Mean and standard deviation were used to analyze the Data. The findings of the study showed among others that the method and techniques of teaching EE in Nigerian universities is not adequate. Based on the findings, recommendations were made which included among others that government should strive to adequately fund EE and provide functional EE centers in every Nigerian University.

This research was conducted with the aim to know how the influence of price andproduct quality on the purchasing intention kerupuk kemplang UKM in Palembang city.The type of this research is quantitative descriptive research with data collection throughthe distribution of questionnaires distributed to 150 respondents who have intention toconsume kerupuk kemplang in Palembang city by purposive sampling technique and dataanalysis using multiple regression. The results of this study with simultaneous, the priceand product quality positively influence the purchasing intention kerupuk kemplangPalembang amounted to 4.092 with a significant level of 0.019. Partially, the price doesnot affect the purchasing intention where the variable probability is 0,521>0,05 whilethe product quality can influence the purchasing intention of kerupuk kemplang inPalembang where the variable probability is 0,01 <0,05.

Indonesia is currently experiencing many problems, the trigger is the COVID-19 outbreak so that many workers have been laid off and cause poverty. The effort made to solve this is to increase student resources who are interested in entrepreneurship. In the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Padang, there are lessons that support interest in entrepreneurship, namely the Industrial Field Experience Course (PLI). This research will look for the influence of PLI on Entrepreneurial Interest, this is done to see the entrepreneurial values that grow after the implementation of PLI. Correlational descriptive research method with a population of 83 people from the total population taken 33 people for testing, while the 50 people for research, sampling technique (simple random sampling). The results showed that there was a significant influence between variables, 84% of PLI Implementation, 77% Entrepreneurial Interest and the Influence of PLI on Entrepreneurial Interest 28.4%. Indonesia saat ini mengalami banyak permasalahan, pemicunya adalah Wabah COVID-19 sehingga banyak tenaga kerja yang di PHK dan menyebabkan kemiskinan. Usaha yang dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan ini yaitu meningkatkan Sumber Daya Mahasiswa yang berminat untuk Berwirausaha. Di fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Padang ada Pembelajaran yang menunjang minat berwirausaha yaitu Mata Kuliah Pengalaman Lapangan Industri (PLI). Pada penelitian ini akan di cari Pengaruh PLI terhadap Minat Berwirausah, ini dilakukan untuk melihat nilai-nilai wirausaha yang tumbuh setelah pelaksanaan PLI. Metode penelitian deskriptif korelasional dengan Populasi sebanyak 83 orang dari jumlah populasi di ambil 33 orang untuk ujicoba, sedangkan yang 50 orang untuk Penelitian, Teknik sampling (simple random sampling). Hasil penelitian adanya pengaruh siknifikan antar variabel, 84% Pelaksanaan PLI, Minat Berwirausaha 77% dan Pengaruh PLI terhadap Minat Berwirausaha 28,4%.

Abstract: Self awareness is an individual's ability to recognize themselves and potential. Self awareness is important for guidance and counseling students to identify their own weaknesses and strengths, attitudes toward others, and manage emotions as readiness becomes school counselors. This research aims to describe the level of self-awareness of guidance and counseling students of 2017 class State University of Malang for readiness to become school counselors. The research used a quantitative approach with a survey as a data collection method. Survey research is used to gather information about self-awareness through statements. 30 percent of the population is used for trials and 70 percent is used for samples. The sampling technique is probability sampling. Data collection using a questionnaire using percentage analysis techniques. The results showed that the overall level of self-awareness was in high (81 percent), medium (19 percent), low (0 percent) categories. The level of self-awareness on the attention aspect is in high (99 percent), medium (1 percent), low (0 percent) categories. The level of self-awareness on the wakefulness aspect is in the high (66 percent), medium (34 percent), low (0 percent) category. The level of self-awareness in the architecture aspect is in high (73 percent), medium (27 percent), low (0 percent) categories. The level of self-awareness on the aspect of recall of knowledge is in high (84 percent), medium (16 percent), low (0 percent) categories. The level of self-awareness on the emotive aspect is in the high (93 percent), medium (7 percent), low (0 percent) category. Based on these data, it concluded that the level of self-awareness of guidance and counseling students of 2017 class State University of Malang tends to be high. Abstrak: Self awareness adalah kemampuan individu untuk mengenali diri dan potensi. Self awarenes penting bagi mahasiswa bimbingan dan konseling untuk mengetahui kelemahan dan kelebihan diri sendiri, sikap diri terhadap orang lain, dan kelola emosi sebagai kesiapan menjadi konselor sekolah. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat self awareness mahasiswa bimbingan dan konseling angkatan 2017 Universitas Negeri Malang sebagai kesiapan menjadi konselor sekolah. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan survei sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Penelitian survei digunakan untuk mengumpulkan informasi terkait self awareness mahasiswa melalui daftar pernyataan. 30% dari populasi digunakan untuk uji coba dan 70 persen digunakan untuk sampel. Teknik pengambilan sampel ialah probability sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan pengolahan data menggunakan teknik analisis persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat self awareness secara keseluruhan dalam kategori tinggi (81 persen), sedang (19 persen), rendah (0 persen). Tingkat self awareness pada aspek attention dalam kategori tinggi (99 persen), sedang (1 persen), rendah (0 persen). Tingkat self awareness pada aspek wakefulness dalam kategori tinggi (66 persen), sedang (34 persen), rendah (0%). Tingkat self awareness pada aspek architecture dalam kategori tinggi (73 persen), sedang (27 persen), rendah (0 persen). Tingkat self awareness pada aspek recall of knowledge dalam kategori tinggi (84 persen), sedang (16 persen), rendah (0 persen). Tingkat self awareness pada aspek emotive dalam kategori tinggi (93 persen), sedang (7 persen), rendah (0 persen). Berdasarkan data tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa tingkat self awareness mahasiswa bimbingan dan konseling angkatan 2017 Universitas Negeri Malang cenderung tinggi.

This study assessed the capacity building efforts of library and information professionals in university libraries in Nigeria. The study adopted a descriptive survey design and a structured questionnaire was the instrument used for data collection. The exact population of the study is 238 librarians in the university libraries in South- South, Nigeria. The total enumeration sampling technique which involves studying the entire respondents was employed for the study. Two hundred and thirty eight copies of the questionnaire were distributed to the respondents; the researchers were able to retrieve only 211 questionnaires. Hence there was 89% response rate. The data collected for this study were analyzed using simple percentage and frequency counts using tables. The findings of the study revealed that the capacity building needs of library and information professionals in university libraries were majorly troubleshooting new technologies, academic research, internet search skills, e-library management, and library automation, among others. Additionally, findings show clearly that on the job training, in-house training, participation in professional association, lecture/ discussion and exercises, and job rotation were the major methods of building the capacity of library and information professionals. It was recommended that sufficient funding should be allocated to university libraries for the organization of capacity building programmes for library and information professionals, among others. This research is motivated by the high participation of learners English in the course of English Tutorial Center Padang, visible high level of attendance, liveliness and discipline of learners. Researchers suspect that the cause of the high participation of learners is due to the process of reward and punishment by the instructor in the learning activities. This study aims to describe the process of reward and punishment by instructors in English learning activities. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were all students totaling 500 people. Sampling technique used is cluster sampling, samples taken at each level/study group as many as 50 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. While the data collection tool use a list of statements. Data analysis techniques use a percentage formula. The results show that rewards in of point, reward, and praise are categorized both given by the instructor, as well as punishments in prefentive and repressive forms categorized well given by the instructor. This is evidenced by the majority of students expressing "often" from each statement given.
