This study aims to describe how Pancasila values are implanted ​​in the tahlilan tradition in Kampung Sapen Yogyakarta. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method using interviews with several figures in Kampung Sapen. The study finds that the tahlilan tradition among Sapen community enables to instill Pancasila values, including: 1) theological awareness of the existence of God Who Creates and Destroys;  this is the practice of Divine values/the first pillar; 2) the expression of sympathy for the bereaved family, and a congregational prayer for the deceased; this is the practice of the second pillar; 3) the gatherings  that reflect a sense of brotherhood and unity/the third pillar; 4) a full obedience to the leader of tahlil can be seen as the practice of the fourth pillar; 5) Equality of seats, food and duties shows the practice of justice within the community. Tahlilan in Kampung Sapen has been practiced since the 1950s. For the people of Sapen, tahlilan plays as a hub of friendship and da'wah. Keywords: Pancasila values, tahlilan, Sapen     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan representasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam tradisi tahlilan di Kampung Sapen Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara terhadap beberapa tokoh dari penduduk Sapen yang representatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam tradisi tahlilan terdapat pengamalan nilai-nilai Pancasila yang selama ini dipraktikkan oleh masyarakat, yaitu: 1) kesadaran teologi akan adanya Tuhan yang Maha Menciptakan dan Mematikan manusia dan seluruh makhluk-makhluknya, ini adalah pengamalan dari nilai ketuhanan; 2) adanya simpati pada keluarga yang berduka, dan doa bersama untuk meminta kebaikan untuk sang almarhum, adalah pengamalan sila kedua; 3) berkumpulnya semua lapisan masyarakat dalam suatu majlis menunjukkan sikap persaudaraan dan persatuan yang kokoh; 4) kepatuhan dan ketundukan pada sang pemimpin tahlil meruPakan pengamalan dari sila keempat; 5) persamaan tempat duduk, makanan dan tugas menunjukkan keadilan yang nyata di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Tahlilan di Kampung Sapen telah ada sejak tahun 1950-an. Tahlilan bagi masyarakat Sapen berfungsi sebagai wadah silaturrahmi dan dakwah. Fenomena tradisi tahlilan di kampung Sapen membantah anggapan yang mengatakan bahwa warga Muhammadiyah tidak melaksanakan tahlilan. Kata Kunci: nilai-nilai Pancasila, tahlilan, Sapen

Sekida Village as a Creative Tourism Village is an embryo for the community's economic development. The Creative Tourism Village has provided a space for participation for the community through various activities. Thus, this study aims to determine forms of community participation in supporting the development of the Creative Tourism Village in Sekida Village. The research approach used is phenomenological with qualitative descriptive method. The research stages consisted of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the analysis concluded that the largest form of community participation was manpower and expertise with a percentage of 82% and 72%, respectively. Based on their characteristics, the people who are dominant in contributing to supporting the development of the Creative Tourism Village through their participation are the older adults with an elementary education level.Keywords: Community Participation, Creative Tourism Village, Sekida Village.

This research was conducted to investigate archives as information infrastructure in research. This term is used because archives are seen as the primary source for research. Thus, it is very fundamental and urgent for researchers regarding the data to be used and their accuracy is reliable. The research used a qualitative descriptive method in the frame of a constructivist approach in reading the phenomena of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Archives. Data collection was carried out using three main techniques, namely interview, observation, and documentation. The results of the study found three important issues related to the existence of archives as information infrastructure on research, i.e. archives as a means of historical preservation, primary document, and research development capital. As a curator of history, it seems that its function is very important in historical research because its birth was not intended to produce historical materials, but was born by itself following the interaction of the people. As a primary document, archives are important because they were born simultaneously with events, not from the stories of social actors. As for the framework of research development capital, archives are a source that has a high degree of accuracy, so that its function in research is very important to produce qualified research.

This study aims to determine the work culture of the sub-district government in providing administrative services to the community in the Covid-19 era. The research method is a direct qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation, and interviews. The study results show a fundamental service change in 2020, namely the pattern of routine and usual ways of working that are very different felt by the people who will provide services at the Teluk Ambon District Office. Changes in bureaucratic work procedures are caused by the public's complying with the health protocol and maintaining a sitting position, which is one meter while providing services at the Teluk Ambon sub-district office.

This research was aimed at seeing the protagonist's characters portrayed in the novel Paper Towns by John Green. The research applied the theory of Flat and Round Character proposed by E. M. Forster (1993). This research follows qualitative descriptive method proposed by Creswell (2003), an effective model that occurs in a natural setting that enables the researcher to develop a level of detail from being highly involved in the actual experiences. The result of the analysis shows that the significant protagonist's characters in the novel are distinctive self-disclosure, great ambition and affection. All the distinctive characters drive the protagonist to break the string with the people around her and bring a conflict with her parents.

”Basa téh cicirén bangsa, leungit basana ilang bangsana”. This proverb explains that language is the national identity if the language is lost the people will also disappear. The function of the language itself is a tool for communication. In line with that, the Sundanese people should maintain their language. As has been done by AKTV which provides programming in Sundanese. Efforts to maintain language are closely related to language attitudes. This research is motivated by the importance of Sundanese language skills in the broadcaster AKTV. This study aims to find out how the attitude of AKTV announcer language towards Sundanese and what factors influence it. To achieve this, a qualitative descriptive method is used. The technique used is observation and questionnaire techniques. Data sources were obtained from the broadcaster AKTV. The instruments used include recording equipment, cameras, and questionnaire guidelines. Where the data from this study will be described using the theories of Garvin and Mathiot. The results of this study are 1) the language loyalty of broadcasters AKTV towards Sundanese is 81.1%; 2) the pride of the language announcer AKTV to Sundanese is 59.1%; 3) awareness of the language norms of AKTV announcers towards Sundanese is 61.1%, and; 4) factors that influence the attitude of AKTV broadcasters' language. Thus it can be concluded that the broadcaster AKTV has a positive language attitude towards Sundanese. AbstrakBasa  téh  cicirén  bangsa, leungit basana ilang bangsana. Peribahasa tersebut menjelaskan bahwa bahasa adalah jati diri bangsa, jika hilang bahasanya hilang juga bangsanya. Fungsi dari bahasa sendiri adalah alat untuk komunikasi. Sejalan dengan hal itu, sudah seharusnya masyarakat Sunda mempertahankan bahasanya. Seperti  yang  telah  dilakukan  oleh  AKTV  yang  menyediakan  program  acara dengan pengantar bahasa Sunda. Upaya mempertahankan bahasa erat kaitannya dengan sikap bahasa. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya kemampuan berbahasa Sunda pada penyiar AKTV. Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana sikap bahasa penyiar AKTV terhadap bahasa Sunda dan faktor apa saja yang memepengaruhinya. Untuk mencapai hal itu, digunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi dan angket. Sumber data diperoleh dari penyiar AKTV. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi alat rekam, kamera, dan pedoman angket. Data penelitian ini dideskripsikan menggunakan  teori  Garvin  dan  Mathiot.  Hasil  dari  penelitian  ini  yaitu  1) kesetiaan berbahasa penyiar AKTV terhadap bahasa Sunda sejumlah 81.1%; 2) kebanggaan berbahasa penyiar AKTV terhadap bahasa Sunda sejumlah 59.1%; 3) kesadaran  norma  berbahasa  penyiar  AKTV  terhadap  bahasa  Sunda  sejumlah 61.1%; dan 4) faktor yang mempengaruhi sikap bahasa penyiar AKTV. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penyiar AKTV memiliki sikap bahasa yang positif terhadap bahasa Sunda.

The title of this writing is “Conflict of Beatrice Prior in Roth’s Allegiant”. The specific aim of this scientific writing is to find out and describe the conflicts that are faced by the main character and to find out the source of the conflicts Roth’s Allegiant. This novel is the third series of Divergent written by Veronica Roth and published in 2016. The data is collected through library research and analyzed based on two main theories. The main theory which is used in analyzing this paper is theory of literature by Lajos Egri and also theory of psychology by Tayla Bauer & Berrin Erdogan in his book entitled An Introduction to Organizational Behavior, This research is analyzed based qualitative-descriptive method. Based on the result of analysis, it can be concluded that Conflict of Beatrice Prior in Roth’s Allegiant consist of internal and external conflict. Types of internal conflicts of Tris is categorized as Intrapersonal conflict. Meanwhile, the types of external conflicts are categorized as Interpersonal conflict and Intergroup conflict. The source of the conflict are differing in attitudes, values, and perceptions, differing in goals or objective, differing in personal style or personality.

Indonesia is a country that has many regional languages. The diversity of regional languages is a characteristic of Indonesia. One of them is the Javanese language which is used by the Javanese people and has a variety of dialects. Therefore, the writer is interested in conducting research on the characteristics of the Javanese dialect of Blora in accordance with sociolinguistic studies that examines the relationship between language and its speaking community. This is similar to the writer aim to analysis the differences between Blora, Temanggung and Mojokerto dialect. The writer also analyzes the use of Javanese speech level used by the people of Blora. This is because there are still many people who do not know the geographical location of Blora City. In this study, the writer uses a qualitative descriptive method and the data collection methods needed to analysis the data are simak method and cakap method. The analysis results showed that there are characteristics of the Blora dialect and there are differences between Blora, Temanggung and Mojokerto dialect. It can be concluded that the variations of the three dialects have different morphology, phonology, lexical and semantics. This is due to the diversity of dialect differences from the results of regional observations.

Pluralism is a view of life in understanding, acknowledging and accepting the existence of pluralism and diversity in a community group. The people of Donggo, Bima Regency, West Nusa Tenggara have different religious beliefs, in which there are different cultures and customs. There are three religions that developed in Palama Village 2, Nggerukopa hamlet, Donggo District, namely Islam, Catholicism and Protestantism. With a variety of religious beliefs, of course, each individual community has different desires, and this can lead to conflict between individuals in the community, for this reason it is necessary to understand pluralism which refers to the meaning of tolerance in order to live in harmony, to unite the diversity of a nation. The formulation of the problem raised in this study is how is the form of religious harmony in the Donggo custom community? The formulation of the problem raised. The purpose of this study is to find out the pluralism of the Donggo custom people in maintaining religious harmony. Researchers obtain data in this study is from observation, interviews and documentation. The data were analyzed by qualitative descriptive method. Based on the results of the study it was found that the forms of harmony of the Donggo custom people in maintaining religious harmony were cua kaco'i angi (mutual respect), doho kaboro weki (sitting together), inga dasa uma (helping to build a house), batu rawi rasa (participating in events) and tio kasama weki rasa ra dana (guarding with the village). Thus, the researcher concludes that the Donggo custom people in Nggerukopa really care for their religious harmony in any form to continue to live in harmony with each other.

The inception of social groups nowadays believed as positive indication cultivation of democracy in some country, including Indonesia. The existence of social group aims to create a social change better and gratify the people interest. One of the social group is student movement that in any political event has become the pioneer for social change. This article aims to analyze how does democracy become important factor to a social movement, particularly student movement to an occurrence of social change in Indonesia. This research using a qualitative descriptive method to analyze how is social movement and democracy in Indonesia, especially related to student movement through to social change. As a result that student movement is the most important thing to realizing social change. As an agent of change, the idealism of student is valued indicator-weather social change has moved as well or perhaps full of political interest. The student movement also becomes indicator for sustainability of democracy.

Completeness in driving a motorcycle is still underestimated by the people in Surakata City. Many people in Surakarta City do not use helmets when riding a motorcycle, even though the completeness of the ride is very influential in the safety riding a motorcycle. The purpose of writing this article is to make people aware of the importance of completeness in driving for the safety of motorcycle riding in the city of Surakarta. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach to the community in the city of Surakarta. The results of this study are to know the presentation of motorcycle riders who do not use helmets and the reason motorcycle riders do not use helmets in the city of Surakarta. This is evidenced from the results of observations on Jalan Ki Hajar Dewantara and interviews with people who do not use helmets on Jalan Ki Hajar Dewantara.
