Rice is the main commodity in Indonesia so it needs to be supported by technological innovation in the context of increasing production. Currently, the Agricultural Research and Development Agency has created technological innovations to increase rice production because it is necessary to disseminate information on technological innovations so that all users can know and take advantage of these innovations. The purpose of writing this paper is to provide information and an overview of some of the current agricultural technological innovations in Indonesia that contribute to increasing rice production in Indonesia. Several agricultural technology innovations are currently being implemented such as new superior varieties technology, planting jajar legowo, Salibu rice cultivation system, hazton rice cultivation, SRI rice cultivation technology, integrated planting calendar, and integrated crop management. These technological innovations have had an impact on increasing rice production in Indonesia

Introduction of organic rice-based rice cultivation technology package through demplot is done in Subak Sungi 1 using ciherang variety. The number of farmers participating in demonstration plots in organic cultivation of paddy-based rice cultivation were 5 people, with age of farmers aged greater than 55 years occupying the highest percentage (45.45%), with elementary education level (72.75%), followed by high school education (18.25%), and junior high (9%). The average farmland area is 34.63 acres, with self-owned status (55,94%), status as penyakap 41,18% and rent status 2,88%. The farmers' response to the organic rice-based rice planting assessment is quite high, as evidenced by the evaluation that 100% of farmers participating in demonstration plots know and understand about organic rice system cultivation, and they agree to develop this cultivation system in the future. Demplot research results can increase the yield components and weight of dry grain harvest per hectare. Organic rice-based rice cultivation technology EVAGRO able to increase production of dry grain harvest significantly with a value of 6.8 tons / ha. There is a tendency of dry weight value of ciherang varieties of 6.8 tons / ha giving highest but not significantly different with PGPR organic based technology.

The Relationship of Social Factors of Farmers with Application of Hybrid Rice Cultivation Technology in Pulung Sub-Distrct of Ponorogo Regency Hybrid rice is a new innovation in agriculture. In its development as an innovation in agriculture, farmers must understand first about how to cultivate hybrid rice because sometimes farmers do not understand how to cultivate hybrid rice properly and correctly. The process of understanding in the implementation of a new innovation by farmers in farming depends on the social factors. This study aims to identify the level of social factors of farmers, to identify the level of application of hybrid rice cultivation technology, and to find out the relationship between social factors with the application of hybrid rice cultivation technology in the Sub-District Pulung of Ponorogo Regency. Sampling was conducted by saturated sampling method. Data analysis method used is descriptive analysis and rank spearman correlation analysis. The result of descriptive analysis shows that the level of social factor of farmers was in the low category with the achievement score of 1.56, while the application level of hybrid rice cultivation technology in Pulung Sub-District was in the medium category with achievement score of 1.96. The result of correlation analysis showed a strong relationship between the social factors with the application of hybrid rice cultivation technology by the correlation value of 0.837 ** positive direction of the confidence level at 99%. This means that the higher the level of social factors of farmers, the higher the application level of hybrid rice cultivation technology.

This research aimed to find out rice plant technology innovation level in East Kupang Sub District, to find out the effect of extension agent’s role and job motivation on rice plant technology innovation, and to find out the simultaneous effect of extension agent’s role and motivation on rice plant technology innovation. Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression analysis. The result of research found that Rice Plant Cultivation Technology Innovation (Y) in East Kupang Sub District belonged to medium category (78.33%); it is indicated with the aspect of rice plant cultivation technology innovation dissemination by extension agent of 74.50% only and the aspect of farmers’ participation in wet-rice cultivation technology of 66.17%. The agricultural extension agent’s role factor belonged to high category (50.00%), while agricultural extension agent’s motivation factor belonged to medium category (60.00%). Agricultural Extension Agent factor affected significantly the rice cultivation technology innovation (Y), as indicated with three aspects: extension agent’s role as educator and facilitator, role as analyzer and planner, and role as evaluation expert of activity and education result.  Agricultural extension agent’s motivation factor significantly affected the rice cultivation technology innovation (Y), as indicated with three aspects: extension agent’s motivation on basic need, status/social need, and work performance need. Extension agent’s role and motivation simultaneously affected rice plant technology innovation with Fstatistic value of 13.11.

Lakea Sub-district, Buol District has a wealth of natural resources (SDA) potential in the form of large and fertile plains area that can be developed into agricultural land for food crops and horticulture, areas with hilly topography can be developed various types of plantation commodities, forest resources that can be cultivated MPTS and marine potential. To optimize the potential of natural resources is needed integrated agricultural technology that can be applied by the community. Regional partnership program aims to assist the community in exploiting the potential of natural resources owned by kindly and wisely through integrated agricultural technology innovation to improve their welfare. PKW is implemented in two villages in Lakea Sub-District, Lakea I and Ngune Village. The methods used in the implementation of the program include: training, plot demonstration technology, guidance, and community assistance. The results of the program implementation showed that the adoption of technology was good enough from the target community group which is showed by the transfer of technology in the development of SRI rice cultivation with legowo row planting system, the development and entrepreneurship of local-made production facilities include bioinsecticide development Beauveria bassiana, Trichoderma sp biofungicide, liquids organic fertilizer and granules, development of PKW production facilities, and development of forage grazing garden with Panicum sarmentosum grass cultivation. The technology assembly is as the result of a suitable PKW team study to be developed in the Lakea District of Buol Regency in utilizing and developing the potential of natural resources in the program target location. Results of demonstration plot of rice cultivation of SRI with legowo 2:1 row planting system resulted in rice production of 4.7 t ha-1 higher than the conventional were 3.5 t ha-1.

To understand the potential for increasing rice production on burnt peatlands, a demo farm (demonstration of grouped farming and fishing) which is a collaboration between Balittra and BRG which covers an area of 38 ha in Talio Hulu Village, Pandih Batu District, Pulang Pisau Regency, Central Kalimantan in 2020-2021. This study aims to discover the farmers' perceptions of the technology components and performance of rice cultivation technology. The activities have been carried out on farmers' land by applying “Five Management” technology include (1) water management techniques; (2) land preparation, (3) amelioration and fertilization (4) utilization of new high yielding varieties with high yield potential, and (5) integrated pest and disease control. Data were collected from 24 cooperating farmers by survey method. Primary data were collected by conducting direct interviews with farmers using a structured questionnaire. The data collected was tabulated and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that burned peatlands have the potential to increase rice production. The results showed that burned peatlands have the potential to increase rice production.. The response of farmers to the components of rice cultivation technology is positive. The five technology components that have the highest value with a value of 95.83% are (1) water regulation in paddy fields, (2) the utilization of ash and urea fertilizer in the nursery, (3) the utilization of manure and lime as ameliorant, (4) the utilization of urea fertilizer, SP-36, and NPK, and (5) the utilization of natural phosphate. The farmer's perception of the Five Management technology is positive.  Economically, rice farming of the Inpara 2 variety is efficient (R/C = 1.14).
