Method This research used a quasi-experimental approach with pre and post-test for two-group design. A total sample of 58 respondents was divided into the intervention and control groups. The sample determination used simple random sampling. Furthermore, the data is analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. Results this research showed a significant difference between the intervention groups and the control group was found after the intervention group was given the effleurage massage treatment (p <0.05). The conclusion of this research is effleurage massage has a significant effect on reducing pain in the lower abdomen during menstruation (dysmenorrhea). In this industrial age, skills required in most jobs are 21st-century skills. The current study aimed to investigate whether there is a relationship between implementing project-based collaborative learning using PowerPoint and improving students’ 21st-century skills from the students’ perspectives. It also examines whether there is a significant relationship between students’ attitudes toward learning collaboratively using PowerPoint to improve their 21st-century skills and their major. The participants of the study were 75 female students enrolled in an Educational Technology and Means course at Najran University. The findings revealed that there is a significant and positive relationship between implementing a project-based collaborative learning approach using PowerPoint and improving the students’ 21st-century skills, r (74) = 0.74 and p < 0.05. Additionally, the findings demonstrated that 21st-century skills improved the most through “actively collaborating with others” (M = 4.6, SD = 0.56). Additionally, there was no significant difference in students’ attitudes toward learning collaboratively using PowerPoint to improve their 21st-century skills in terms of human studies or scientific studies majors, t (37) = 1.97 and p > 0.05. The findings demonstrate that more research is required on the role of higher education in developing meaningful technology-based strategies to improve students’ 21st-century skills in learning environments.

Background and Objectives: Interprofessional education is a critical component of medical student training, yet it is often difficult to implement. Medical students who learn with, from, and about learners from other disciplines have been shown to create more effective and safe health care teams. The investigators wanted to know how participating in two interprofessional observed structured clinical exams (OSCEs) at Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM) would affect changes in medical students’ attitudes and values in interprofessional teamwork. Methods: For the academic years 2017 and 2018, two interprofessional case scenarios were integrated into OSCEs for third-year medical students at TUSM, with an allied embedded actor (AEA) playing a social worker to an end-of-life scenario, and an AEA playing the role of a pharmacy student added to a chronic pain scenario. Students participated in didactic training about interprofessional teamwork and received structured feedback regarding interprofessional competencies following simulation cases. Changes in interprofessional knowledge and attitudes were assessed by comparing student pre- and postscenario mean scores on the Interprofessional Socialization and Valuing Scale (ISVS-21, a 21-item scale survey), with students rating themselves on a Likert scale from 1 (not at all) to 7 (to a very great extent). We performed paired t-test analysis on individual pre- and post-ISVS-21 means. Results: Three hundred fifty-three of the 417 participating medical students fully completed pre- and postsurveys. Students reported significant changes in interprofessional knowledge and attitudes (mean change=1.3, P<.0001). Students and faculty regarded the interprofessional cases very highly. Conclusions: Placing interprofessional cases involving AEAs into OSCE events is easily replicated, and positively impacts students’ attitudes and values in interprofessional knowledge.

The aim of this study was to determine the perceptions of bicyclists to promote the use of bicycles in the cities. The sample was selected using simple random sampling method. A total of 1087 bicyclists, including 178 women and 909 men, who used bicycles in their everyday lives in the city, voluntarily participated in the research. The study was a descriptive research in the survey model and quantitative research approach was adopted in the research. Data were collected with “Bike Use Dissemination Scale” developed by Çeyiz (2019). The scale consists of two parts; a personal information form and expressions of participants’ dissemination of bicycle use. The t-test was used for the variables consisting of the bipartite groups and the One-Way ANOVA was used for the variables consisting of more than two groups. According to the data obtained from the bicyclists participating in the survey, there was a significant difference in the dimensions of security and dissemination by gender. It was found that women bicyclists’ safety perceptions were more negative than men’s perception; and their perceptions of the spreading dimension were more positive than the male bicyclists.
