In the analogy-based learning method we map a concept that is being learned to a well-understood concept. An analogy is mainly useful when learners lack prior knowledge of the topic being learned. Computer Science (CS) is a subject whose concepts tend to be highly abstract and therefore difficult for undergraduate students to understand. Analogy-based instruction can greatly reduce a student’s burden of learning these abstract CS concepts. Role of analogy in teaching CS topics has not been adequately explored. In this paper we discuss analogy-based instruction in computer science and its advantages. Over the last decade we have developed analogies for a large number of difficult CS concepts and extensively used them in the classroom at our institution. We list these analogies and as an illustration discuss one of them (from the subfield of operating systems) in detail. We also present the evaluation of our analogy-based instruction method. Our results indicate that our techniques are quite effective in improving student learning outcomes.

The instrument, before being used in the study, was first validated and reliably. After that, the hypothesis test uses the t-test is the Independent Sample T-Test. The corona virus has caused changes in the education system in Indonesia. This causes learning that was originally carried out face-to-face into learning from home. The Learning from Home system requires parents to play a full role in learning. To maintain and increase students' learning motivation while studying from home, parents really need the role. This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The instrument of data collection was done by interview and questionnaire. The subjects of this study were parents of grade II and III students at SD Negeri 2 Palaan located in Palaan Village, Ngajum District. The results of this study discuss the role of parents who are very influential in improving student learning outcomes of SD Negeri 2 Palaan during the Learning from Home System.

The results of learning Indonesian in the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sentajo Raya still do not meet expectations. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct classroom action research to improve the learning. Improvement of learning is done using the Make a Match learning method. This Classroom Action Research aims to obtain factual information about the use of the Make a Match learning method in improving student learning outcomes. Classroom Action Research Procedures carried out through a grooved process consisting of 4 stages, namely: 1) planning; 2) implementation; 3) observation; and 4) reflection. From the data analysis it is known that in each cycle there is an increase in the completeness of student learning outcomes. In the initial study, students who achieved new completeness were 29.2%. In the first cycle students who achieved completeness increased to 58.3%. In cycle II students who achieved completeness experienced an increase to 83.3%. The same thing happens to student learning activities. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the use of the learning method of Make a Match can improve the learning outcomes of Indonesian students of class VII Sentajo Raya 1 Public Middle School.

The use of the Guided Writing Activity Strategy (SAMT) method in making a simple dialogue script can be applied by the teacher to optimize the ability of students. SAMT method makes the role of the teacher who so far has only been a giver of assignments will switch in the form of collaboration with students. SAMT method in fifth-grade students of SDN Malaka Jaya 06 Pagi East Jakarta is intended to make efforts to improve the quality of learning, especially on simple dialog scriptwriting skills that are expected to affect improving student learning outcomes in writing simple dialog scripts.

The purpose of this study is to describe the role of learning leadership and the obstacles faced by school principals in improving student learning outcomes at SMK Pelita Bangsa Sumberlawang Sragen. This research is a qualitative research that produces descriptive data in the form of words, written or oral from people and observed behavior. Data collection techniques carried out by in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using an interactive model of analysis. The results showed, first, the principal was the most instrumental element in improving the quality of education and learning. Learning leadership at SMK Pelita Bangsa Sumberlawang Sragen is carried out in 3 dimensions, namely through the formulation of school missions, good learning management, and building a conducive school climate. Second, the obstacles in implementing leadership learning in SMK Pelita Bangsa Sumberlawang Sragen include several things, namely the lack of professional teachers, conventional curriculum, incomplete supervision, and incomplete learning infrastructure.

This study aims to create and develop learning media using Adobe Flash Flayer software in economics class X IIS MAN 1 Padang Lawas which can be used to support learning so as to assist teachers in delivering learning materials. This research is a development research with ADDIE development model. In addition, this study was also conducted to determine the interaction of Self Efficacy with the use of media in improving student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at MAN 1 Padang Lawas. The sampling technique was carried out by cluster random sampling technique. The results of this study are learning media with Adobe Flash Player Software developed that meet the eligibility requirements (valid) to be used as learning media in economics subjects for class X IIS. The product developed, based on an assessment of the media aspect, learning design and material aspects carried out by experts as well as responses or responses from students obtained an average percentage of 86.33% feasibility level so that the conclusion belongs to the "Very Eligible" category. There is an interaction between learning media and Self Efficacy on students' economic learning outcomes.

The purpose of this research was to improve student learning outcomes by using the Joyful Learning Method in social studies subjects for class IV at SD Negeri 16 Paguyaman, Boalemo Regency. The results indicated the Joyful Learning method can improve student learning outcomes in social studies subjects. This is indicated by the results of student learning activities in the first cycle reaching an average percentage of 71.25% and in the second cycle an average of 85%, with an increase of 13.75%. Likewise, the learning outcomes of students produced with a mastery percentage of 61.91%, with a KKM 75, while the average value of students in the second cycle experienced an increase, with a completeness percentage of 80.95%. The conclusion is the implementation of the Joyful Learning method can improve student learning outcomes in social studies subjects

Effective communication is defined as communication that can bring about a change in attitude. Effective communication aims to make it easier for others to interpret the message conveyed by the messenger. Effective communication is very important in improving student learning outcomes. At the time of the Covid-19 pandemic, the e-learning learning method became the learning method used by all universities. Learning outcomes refer to the achievements obtained by students in teaching activities through updating and creating their own behavior. This research was conducted to measure the effect of effective communication on student learning outcomes. This study uses quantitative techniques with survey methods and makes Visual Communication Design students the object of research. The main data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 70 respondents. Data analysis in this study used the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences with the SPSS for Windows 25 application. Based on the results of the study, it was found that effective communication had a significant and positive effect on student learning outcomes. Effective communication has an effect of 67.4% on student learning outcomes, while the other 32.6% is another factor. Thus, the higher an effective communication, the learning outcomes will also increase. Vice versa, the lower an effective communication, the learning outcomes will also decrease. Komunikasi yang efektif diartikan sebagai komunikasi yang dapat mewujudkan perubahan sikap. Komunikasi yang efektif bertujuan untuk mempermudah orang lain menafsirkan pesan yang diberitahukan oleh penyampai pesan. Komunikasi yang efektif sangat penting dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Pada saat pandemi Covid-19, metode pembelajaran e-learning menjadi metode pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh semua universitas. Hasil belajar merujuk pada prestasi yang diperoleh mahasiswa dalam kegiatan mengajar melalui pembaharuan dan pembuatan tingkah laku sendiri. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengukur pengaruh komunikasi efektif terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik kuantitatif dengan metode survei dan menjadikan mahasiswa Desain Komunikasi Visual sebagai objek penelitian. Data utama dikumpulkan dengan cara menyebar kuesioner kepada 70 responden. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Statistical Package for the Social Sciences dengan aplikasi SPSS for windows 25. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa komunikasi efektif memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan bernilai positif terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa. Komunikasi efektif memiliki pengaruh sebesar 67,4% terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa, sementara 32,6% lainnya merupakan faktor lain. Dengan demikian, semakin tinggi suatu komunikasi efektif maka hasil belajar juga semakin meningkat. Begitu juga sebaliknya, semakin rendah suatu komunikasi efektif maka hasil belajar juga semakin menurun.

The research objectives are to determine and analyze the role of principal leadership in increasing teacher creativity at SMK Negeri 1 Al-Mubarkeya Ingin Jaya and to find out and analyze teacher creativity in improving student learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 1 Al-Mubarkeya Ingin Jaya. This study used a qualitative approach using purposive sampling technique to determine informants and data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews and focus group discussions (FGD). The role of principal as education leader in increasing the creativity of teachers in State Vocational High School I Al-Mubarkeya Ingin Jaya, Aceh Besar District, still has several shortcomings. This can be seen from the indicators that the principal as an educator is still not maximal in guiding teachers to prepare learning tools. The principal as a supervisor is still not able to prepare a supervision program properly, because he does not do classification of problems and check the correctness of the problem. The implementation of supervision is still constrained by curriculum differences. The principal as a leader also still has shortcomings so that it has implications for the level of creativity guru in improving student learning outcomes. Teacher There are still those who have difficulty in formulating and classifying specific instructional goals to develop students' attitudes, knowledge, and skills.
