It was found that at present teaching a foreign language in preschool institutions is an important component. Preschool children, who studied foreign languages, providing their teaching was organized methodically correctly, successfully continue their study at school, and acquire knowledge of a foreign language better. Learning English by preschoolers is a special type of educational activity. In the learning process speech is both a leading teaching tool and a subject. Children do not learn the components of an unfamiliar language, but immediately master it as a means of communication. The focus is on psychological characteristics of preschool children and features of educational activities organized for preschool children at English classes, as well as the conditions that ensure the effectiveness of stable speech skills based on Helen Doron educational project in preschool education of Ukraine. It has been determined that the peculiarities of teaching English for preschool children are based on the characteristic features of children's perception of the environment. Young children perceive the world through their bodies that is looking assembling, spreading, savoring, smelling, touching, moving, and others. Scientists indicate that children at early age equally perceive words in several languages providing they are in the appropriate environment. It is noted that at the initial stage of teaching English the teacher uses a large number of visual aids, objects that surround children, facial expressions, gestures, movements, and feelings. It is determined that English learning of upper preschool age must be intrinsically motivated. The most effective organizational form of learning, which is closely related to this age group, is a game. During a game children involuntarily make efforts, develop their memory, practice English pronunciation, use foreign words and phrases. The structure of the course for children under six years old according to the method of Helen Doron is considered. It is determined that active or sustained acquisition of educational material occurs only when the child performs cognitive, communicative and intellectual activity. Keywords: Helen Doron method, organization of educational activity, psychological characteristics, speech activity, preschool children, preschool education institution.

Currently, there are controversial issues in pedagogical science about learning a foreign language in preschool institutions. The development of thinking and the formation of communicative abilities is an important psychological and pedagogical task of modern preschool education. Special attention is paid to the characteristics of children of older preschool age-5–7 year-olds. This age is the most favorable for mastering a foreign language. Historical and legal, historical and economic aspects of the process of formation and development of the system of public preschool education in Ukrainian SSR in 20s – early 30s of the XX century have been analyzed. It has been proved that the issue of preschool education with the victory of the Soviet government took its place in the general system of education’s development, which the Bolsheviks began to introduce first in the industrial regions in 1919, and then throughout Ukrainian SSR. The authors have the legal basis of the process of formation and development of the system of public preschool education in Soviet Ukraine in 1919–1933. The upbringing of children from the early age, according to the Program of the party and the decisions of the Soviet government, had to become the complete prerogative of public educational agencies. The main reasons for the rapid growth in the number of institutions of state and public education of children of preschool age have been analyzed. That process was caused by the economic devastation in Ukraine as a result of the First World and Civil Wars, which doomed more than one million children to starvation. State authorities were forced to make certain commitments to provide food and education for deprived children. There is a destruction of the old pre-revolutionary pedagogy, which considered preschool education only as a forced measure for working parents and orphans, by giving preference to family upbringing of children at an early stage of life. It has been proved that the system of legal regulation of financing of public preschool education in Ukrainian SSR at that time has passed three stages of development: – 1919–1922 – financing of preschool institutions was carried out in a centralized way by monthly allocations from the republican budget, as well as from the budget of central agencies; – 1923–1927 – financing of preschool institutions was transferred from the republican to local budgets; – 1928–1933 – attraction of state and local councils’ budgets, funds from trade unions, other institutions and enterprises, parental payment. There was the final consolidation of budgetary sources of maintenance of preschool education system in the legislation. There was the thesis that the legal consolidation of financing of preschool education in Ukraine should reflect the priority of public importance and state support of this field of educational activity from the standpoint of investing in the future of the state, forming the foundations of a harmonious personality as a prerequisite for successful secondary and later higher education. It has been emphasized that the financing of preschool education and its legal consolidation should be aimed at stimulating the work of educational and pedagogical staff, attracting highly qualified specialists to this field. Society and the state must realize that this category of professionals have the prerequisites for successful development, prosperity of future generations.

It is generally accepted that education in the field of physics is possible only when one has received sufficient grounds for it. But physics is an attempt to understand the world around us. Everything one needs to study physics is an open mind and willingness to learn. It is also commonly thought that preschool-age children have a natural curiosity to figure out how the world functions. They focus not only on people but also on objects which they touch, taste, smell, throw into water, etc. Therefore, physics may be introduced as early as in kindergarten. Experiments in physics conducted together with a preschool group activate all analyzers, facilitate a more complete understanding of curricular contents, allow children to discover answers independently and to formulate conclusions. The research presents theoretical considerations regarding the nature of the class of physics conducted with preschool-age children and examples of practical solutions corresponding to physics-related activities performed in a group of 6-year-olds in the Self-Government Kindergarten at the School Complex in Łomazy. Keywords: natural curiosity, physics education, preschool education, 6-year-old child.
