This article contains an exploration of conceptual understanding in geometry lectures in the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Cokroaminoto Palopo University, Odd Semester, Academic Year 2020/2021. This research was conducted through a qualitative approach with the aim of explaining the details of the relationship between concepts in detail and recommending appropriate learning in problem solving. Data were collected using observation, documentation, and written tests. The three techniques are elaborated with the aim of analyzing the concepts and problem-solving patterns of the students' final semester test results. The results of the study explain several findings, namely, Teaching geometry should begin with the process of identifying the important concepts that build up a particular problem. These concepts are then analyzed and linked to one another to form a network. The concept network is then represented in an image/visual display. Through this visual display, lecturers can guide students in compiling procedural steps based on the sequence of concepts that have been compiled. Lecturers need to create meaningful learning for students by connecting previous knowledge with new knowledge through various representations, examples, and manipulations and focus on conceptual understanding rather than procedures or rules.Eksplorasi Pemahaman Konsep Geometri MahasiswaArtikel ini memuat eksplorasi pemahaman konsep dalam perkuliahan geometri pada Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo Semester Ganjil Tahun Akademik 2020/2021. Educational game is a game that can encourage someone to think more actively and creatively in learning. During this time, learning Discrete Mathematics courses in the Informatics Education Study Program still uses media in the form of books, Power Point (PPT), and blackboards. That makes students less interested in learning. Therefore, an Android-based educational game was developed to be able to achieve learning goals in Discrete Mathematics courses, especially set topics. The research data used is the 2017 batch of Informatics Education students. The development model used is ADDIE with five stages, namely Analyze (Design), Design (Development), Development (development), Implementation (implementation), and Evaluation (evaluation). Test results by learning media experts reach 99%. The test results by material experts reached 82%. The results of individual, small group and large group trials reached 90%, 84% and 86% respectively. Based on the assessment, Android-based educational game media was declared feasible to be used as learning media in the Discrete Mathematics subject set material.

Vector calculus courses are active abstract subjects that students often have difficulty in understanding the material. The research method uses quantitative descriptive methods. In this study, the subjects were students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at Suryakancana University in the 7th semester of the 2017-2018 academic year in the subject of Vector Calculus. The data collection technique is done by using a question test instrument about Polya's comprehension ability. Based on the results of the conclusion analysis from Problem 3, it was seen that most students understood 85% of the presentations and for question number 5 was 67%. Problems no. 1a and 1b inductive ability seen that most students understood 82% and 85% inductive understanding abilities. Another thing understood by student number 2 shows that most students understand most with 70% presentation and for number 4 most students do not understand 48% presentation. Question number 6 shows that most students understand 88% and for number 7 most students understand 70%. From the overall indicators of Polya's ability from the results of the answers, the presuppositions of students' abilities in vector calculus courses are mostly in the category of not understanding and partial understanding. Students are still weak in finding the truth or proof of a certain formula of curvature.
