The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between work capacity, work motivation and the opportunity to participate, either partially or simultaneously, with the discretionary behavior of private Islamic higher education lecturers. This research is a quantitative survey study conducted at private Islamic universities in the province of Lampung. Population of 145 persons and samples using total sampling. Hypothesis testing uses the Pearson product moment correlation technique analysis and multiple regression, with a significance level of 5 per cent alpha (α = 0.05). This study resulted in four findings: 1) the work capacity variable has a relationship with the discretionary behavior of the lecturer; 2) the work motivation variable has a relationship with the discretionary behavior of the lecturer; 3) the opportunity to participate in the variable has a relationship with the discretionary behavior of the lecturer; 4) at the same time, work capacity, work motivation and opportunity.

ABSTRACTThe aim of this study was finding the relationship between religiosity and adolescent aggressiveness at Madrasah Aliyah Assalaam Temanggung. The instruments are the religiosity scale and aggressiveness scale. Data was collected from 100 adolescence subjects ages 16-18 years, sitting in class X and XI MA Assalaam. Data analysis techniques used Pearson Product Moment Correlation (2-tailed). The result showed that the correlation coefficients obtained for (r) = -0.468 with a significance level of 0.000 (p <0.01). The conclusion, there is a negative significant relationship between religiosity to adolescent aggressiveness. The negative coefficient showed correlation to the both variables was negative. This means that increasing religious level can make decreasing aggression level, and converse, decreasing religious level can make increasing aggression level. Thus, the hypothesis in this study is acceptable. Keywords: religiosity, aggressiveness, adolescence

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to measure the academic motives of faculty in higher education to understand the pattern of relationships between work motivation scale (WMS) and technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK). Design/methodology/approach The research adopts regression analysis to help model the data collected from 63 faculty members from India. The empirical study investigated the relationship of intrinsic motivation (IntrM), integrated motivation (InteM), identified motivation (IdenM), introjected motivation (IntrjM), external regulation motivation (ExtR) and amotivation (Amot) with each of technological knowledge (TK), (pedagogical knowledge (PK), content knowledge (CK) and TPACK. Findings Optimal functioning among faculty was due to “InteM” followed by “IntrM” and “IdenM” that yielded most positive consequence (mean values>3.9). “ExtR” and “Amot” were the negative outcomes that would be counterproductive and result in employee dejection (Mean values<3.1). The results proved that all TPACK variables were positively related to “IntrM” – a self-determined motivation. Additionally, “TK” and “PK’ were positively related to “IntrjM” – a behavior that is regulated by self-esteem and self-worth; “TPACK” depicted positive relationship with “IntrjM” and negative correlation with “IdenM.” Research limitations/implications The study supported the fact that TPACK and WMS when analyzed together can create better engagement models among the faculty for an enriching learner experience interaction. Furthermore, it would help identify specific strategies on teacher development training programs through the integration of technology. Originality/value The study is original and seeks to inspect the relationship between TPACK and WMS among faculty of higher education in Indian business schools.

This research tries to know the influence of work type and level of education to divorce in Religious Court of Semarang Year 2015. This type of research is field research that is quantitative and qualitative in nature. The quantitative approach, which is to find out the relationship and differences in the variables influence the type of work, and the level of education to the occurrence of divorce in the Semarang Religious Court in 2015. While the qualitative data approach is used as an analysis material from quantitative results. The result of first hypothesis in this research is accepted that society having background of work type non-state civil apparatus will tend to easier to divorce, while people with a background of the type of work as state civil apparatus servants tend to be better able to control themselves from divorce, because the variables not in the equation score 6.512 with a significance level of 0.011 smaller than 0.05 (0.011 &lt;0.05). The second hypothesis is accepted that people with with elementary and secondary will tend to be easier to divorce, while those with higher education will tend to be better able to control themselves from divorce because the variables not in the equation score of 5,738 with significance level of 0.017 less than 0.05 (0.017 &lt;0.05); and the third hypothesis is also accepted that people with background of non-state civil apparatus and elementary and secondary will tend to be easier to divorce, whereas people with background types of work as State civil apparatus and higher education will tend to be more able to control themselves from divorce, because the variables not in the equation scores are 10.861 with a significance level of 0.004 smaller than 0.05 (0.004 &lt;0.05).

This study aims to determine the relationship between mother’s secure attachment to the readiness of prepubertal girl to face first menstruation (menarche). The participants were 74 elementary students at V and VI grade in Budi Mulia Elementary School, Seturan. This study used quantitative research method. Measuring instruments were menarche preparedness scale and secure attachment scale. Hypothesis testing was conducted using a statistical technique test of Pearson Product Moment Correlation with SPSS software. The results showed a correlation coefficient (rxy) = .305 with significance level of p=.008 (p<.01), so the hypothesis was accepted. This result indicates that there is a significant positive correlation between mother’s secure attachment to the pre-pubertal girls’ readiness to face first menstruation (menarche).

Abstract. This study aims to know the relationship between social dominance orientation with dating violence in adolescents. The hypothesis is that there is a positive relationship between social dominance orientation with dating violence in adolescents. Participants in this study were 400 adolescents in Kupang City (200 girls dan 200 boys) using convenience sampling. This research uses the quantitative approach with  Social Dominanca Orientation7 (ODS7) adaptation scale and Conflict in Adolescent Dating Relationships Inventory (CADRI) adaptation scale as data collection methods. The hypotesys’s result using Spearman correlation technique obtained that correlation coefficient in this study is 0,102 with a significance level is 0,042 (p < 0,05). The data shows that there is a significant positive relationship between the social dominance orientation with dating violence in adolescents in Kupang city. It means that the higher social dominance orientation of adolescent, the higher tendency to commit violence in dating relationship, and vice versa. The research aimed to find out the corelation between intelligence and learning motivation in children with special need in inclusion elementary school. The data collecting technique used the learning motivation scale and Slosson Full Range Intelligence Test (S-FRIT). The data were analysed by used product moment correlation technique with SPSS 16. The data analysis result was correlation coefficient was 0.581 with a significance level of 0.000 (p <0.05). It meant there was positive correlation between intelligence and learning motivation. The higher level of intelligence, the learning motivation is also higher; conversely the lower level of intelligence, the learning motivation is also lower. The coefficient determination was 0.337 contributing intelligence to improvement learning motivation was 33.70%. This suggests that 66.30% learning motivation subjects influenced by other factors which not included in this research.

As a form of digital content, e-Textbooks make learning content portable, transferrable, and searchable. Such technology increases students' engagement in learning and make learning highly interactive. However, the adoption of using e-Textbooks in higher education is far from its confirmation stage. This study examines the relationship between perceived attributes of using e-Textbooks by instructors and their actual use of e-Textbooks in higher education. A survey study has been conducted to measure how instructors from public universities in colleges of education perceive using e-Textbooks in higher education. The findings suggest that instructors, institutions, and e-Textbooks publishers should work collaboratively to enhance the use of e-Textbooks in higher education.

This study aims to determine whether or not the relationship between interest in writing with the mastery of tools of cohesion and coherence in learning Indonesian language in the students of class X SMK Se-Kota Sukabumi. Interest is a great desire for something. Interests can affect the quality of student learning outcomes in accordance with the particular field of study. This makes researchers interested in conducting research on the relationship between interest in writing with the mastery of tools of cohesion and coherence considering the tools of cohesion and coherence is an important part in the formation of discourse. This study is devoted to the interest in writing and mastery of cohesion and coherence tools in Indonesian language learning, because in Indonesian language learning writing skills and tools of cohesion and coherence are widely studied. This research uses quantitative research method with correlational approach. The researcher collected data with questionnaire instruments for interest data of menuls and multiple choice test instruments for cohesion and coherency tool mastery data. Determination of the sample using random sampling technique because the sampling was chosen randomly without considering the strata in the population. Data analysis technique used product moment correlation technique with 5% significance level. Based on the results of data analysis revealed that interest in writing students average-average 74.8% and well-categorized. Mastery of cohesion tools and student coherence averaging 70% of good categorized. Based on the results of data analysis of each variable stated that there is a positive relationship between the interest of writing with the mastery of tools of cohesion and coherence in students of class X SMK Se-Kota Sukabumi in learning Indonesian language lesson 2016/2017. From the calculation results there is a correlation of 0.290 and included in the correlation coefficient of low category. From the results of t-test significance, there is a score of t count of 3.248> from the table t score of 1.980. So it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between the interest of writing with the mastery of tools of cohesion and coherence in the students of class X SMK Se-Kota Sukabumi academic year 2016/2017.

The importance of part-time work has been growing in recent years, due to its significant increase in today's societies, and higher education institutions have not been alien to this trend. The present research tries to study the relationship between organizational commitment and job satisfaction with the intention to leave the institution, comparing part-time and full-time faculty. An empirical research, grounded in the model proposed by Currivan (1999), has been undertaken, with a sample of faculty of ETSEIAT, a college of the Technical University of Catalonia. Results show the existence of the relationships with organizational commitment, job satisfaction and intention to leave predicted in the literature, and significant differences in job satisfaction and organizational commitment between part-time and full-time faculty. The paper ends with some proposals of further research.

Data analysis of this study was carried out using correlation techniques. The data collection process is done using critical thinking test instruments and test instruments writing editorial texts. The relationship between variables was analyzed using Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between critical thinking skills and the ability to write editorial texts at a significance level of 0,000. That is, one of the determinants of the success of writing editorial texts is that students must have high critical thinking skills.</p><p class="Default"><strong>A</strong><strong>bstrak:</strong> Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Analisis data penelitan ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi. Adapun proses pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes berpikir kritis dan instrumen tes menulis teks editorial. Hubungan antar variabel dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi <em>Pearson P</em><em>roduct </em><em>M</em><em>oment.</em><em> </em>Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan<em> </em>bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemampuan menulis teks editorial pada taraf signifikansi 0,000. Artinya, salah satu faktor penentu keberhasilan menulis teks editorial adalah siswa harus memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis yang tinggi.</p></td></tr></tbody></table></div>
