Motor vehicle light boxes require a lamp holder installation process. This study aims to automate the process of installing a lamp holder into a motorized vehicle light box through the design of an air press machine. The machine has 5 (five) process stages, namely installing the lamp box on the jig, installing the lamp holder, pressing the lamp holder, installing the lamp on the holder, taking the lamp box from the jig. The product is pressed automatically through a cylinder press mechanism. Based on the test results, it is known that the machine takes an average of 9 (nine) seconds to install the lamp and lamp holder into the light box. The result of this machine is that the time produced is 3 (three) seconds faster than the previous machine, which takes an average of 12 (twelve) seconds. The use of machines has the potential to increase productivity and workforce efficiency. The machine in this research can be developed to increase the efficiency of the assembly process.

The purpose of this research was to measure motor vehicle speed profiles at a rural level crossing following the replacement of the existing Crossbuck signs and Advance Warning signs (AWSs) with flashing light-emitting diode (LED) versions. Measurements were recorded at four discrete locations on the approach to the level crossing, during three distinct phases: baseline, or prior to any changes at the crossing, after the installation of LED enhanced Crossbuck signs, and after the installation of LED AWSs. Test results after the installation of the LED enhanced Crossbuck signs showed: 1) a statistically significant decrease of 2.9 mph–3.3 mph in mean vehicle speed at night at the four measurement locations and 2) improvements of 1.5%–2.5% in the rate of mean vehicle speed decrease for both daytime and nighttime data sets. The unplanned addition of a double yellow centerline by the local public works department prevented the evaluation of the LED-enhanced AWS technology.

Public services are services provided by the government to the community. The services provided must be quality, directed and maximum. The SAMSAT office Pati is an agency that serves for the management of (1) Customs transfer of motor vehicle an average of 5,057 vehicles and 442 cars a month and (2) Vehicle tax totaling 8,959 units monthly and 4,289 for cars. The purpose of this study explains the empirical test results of the influence of SAMSAT service quality in Pati with indicators of attitude, speed, empathy, appearance and knowledge. The four standards are assessed by the community from the service experience obtained. This research uses a quantitative research approach. This type of research is field research. The method used is survey. Data analysis techniques used are the validity and reliability of the instrument, the classic assumption test, and the hypothesis test. Based on the calculation results F count is greater than the F table (46.392> 3.30). The results of hypothesis testing indicate that there is a significant influence between good quality (reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and physical evidence) on the satisfaction of motor vehicle taxpayers in SAMSAT Pati.

Corn is a superior agricultural product for the Giri Harjo I farmer group, Girikikis Village, Giriwoyo District, Wonogiri. However, farmers process and peel corn manually, so it takes a more time and inefficient. In order to overcome this problem, this community service designed and made a corn sheller machine that was used to simplify and increase the productivity in the corn harvesting process. This service activity begins with the delivery of the corn sheller machine to the farmer group, then exposure and training on the use of the machine. Corn shelling is accomplished by inserting the corn into the sheller shaft, after which the grinding knife separates the corn kernels from the cob. The shelling test results show that this machine works well, is practical to use, is highly portable, the production process is faster, the corncobs are not damaged, and the electric power consumption is low. This machine has a 0.5 HP motor and a production capacity of 183 kg/hour for shelling corn kernels.

Motor vehicle tires are discarded every year where the majority ends up in land fill. This poses a serious ecological threat as the tires contain many toxic components and contribute to a loss of biodiversity. From the economic and environmental perspectives, inclusion of recycled rubber in concrete would reduce costs as well as conserve the component materials used in concrete. Past studies have indicated poor-mechanical properties of concrete with the sole inclusion of recycled tire rubber. This paper presents an experimental investigation to improve the workability and hardened properties through sodium hydroxide surface treatment of recycled crumb rubber, and silica fume. Ten concrete mixes were prepared with the volumes of recycled rubber ranging from 10% to 30%. The test results were compared with a control concrete mix. The investigation indicated that favorable strength could be achieved with the addition of 10% treated rubber. Test results and analysis details are presented in the paper.

The modelling, simulation, and reconstruction of road accidents are difficult processes, where experimental test results must be used at different stages of the work. Such data are needed e.g. to create or improve models of vehicle collision dynamics and to validate the results of computer simulations of vehicle motion during and after the collision. Within the work, experimental tests were carried out and the test results were utilized for determining specific values of the parameters that characterize the state of motion of the impacted vehicle during the collision and after the vehicle separation from each other. The test results make it possible to determine the initial values to be used in calculations of further free motion of the vehicle after a side impact. In particular, they enable defining the influence of the location of the point of impact against the vehicle side on the position and angle of rotation of the vehicle in relation to the global reference frame and on the value, direction, and sense of the vector of linear velocity of the centre of vehicle mass and the vector of angular velocity of the vehicle body around the vertical axis. These data constitute information sufficient to determine the energy of translation and rotation of the vehicle struck on its side at a road intersection and to carry out a simulation of the vehicle motion immediately following the collision

Tax is a source of state or regional income whose contribution is highly expected to finance development. One of the taxes that has the potential to become one of the sources to encourage local revenue is the Motor Vehicle Tax. This study aims to determine the effect of motorized vehicle tax on local revenue in Bone Bolango Regency. The results of the study show that the Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) every year in the last 5 years (2015-2019) continues to increase in terms of realization achievement. Because it is able to make a real contribution to the PAD of Bone Bolango Regency. The results of the simple linear regression calculation and the calculation of the coefficient of determination show that the motor vehicle tax has a significant effect on PAD revenue as indicated by the value of RSquare = 0.784 or 78.4 percent. While the remaining 21.6 percent is influenced by other factors not examined. The test results are significant in the Summary Model table Sig = 0.046 > criteria (0.05) thus the regression equation model based on the research data is significant, meaning that the linear regression model meets the linearity criteria.

The objective of this research is to design a spaceframe chassis for light weight automobiles possessing unladen weight of ≤ 550Kg to replace the conventional monocoque type chassis frame. The maximum stress and maximum deflection that the chassis can resist without fracturing are important criteria. In this thesis, the existing monocoque chassis was considered and analyzed under static loading, frontal impact, side impact, rear impact, front rollover and side rollover loading conditions by using Finite Element Analysis method. Then, taking the test results as a reference, a spaceframe chassis was designed for the same size vehicle. The critical evaluation standard points stated in the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS), U.S.A standard, were used as guideline to see the performance of the existing and the new chassis frames. The test results show that a space frame chassis has better stress resisting capacity and reliability than the conventional monocoque chassis frame under all impacts.
