A STUDY OF THE ATTITUDE OF TEACHERS, PARENTS AND ADOLESCENTS TOWARDS SEX EDUCATION

This study is an attempt to investigate attitude of teachers, parents and adolescents towards sex education in relation to some demographic variables. The sample consisted of 50 teachers, 50 parents and 100 adolescents from Ludhiana district of Punjab. Descriptive survey method was used for the present study. Using convenient sampling method the data was collected. Three self-constructed attitude scales entitled 'Attitude towards Sex Education', one each for parents, teachers and adolescents were used for the study. From the results it was found that mostly teachers have favourable attitude towards sex education. Majority of the teachers reported that teachers need special training in discussing sexuality with students. Mostly parents believed that sex education would help children to be more responsible in their sexual behaviour. Findings also showed that male teachers had a significantly more favourable attitude towards sex education as compared to female teachers; Fathers showed significantly more favourable attitude towards sex education than mothers; Highly educated parents had significantly more positive attitude towards sex education than less educated parents. The results also reveal that economic status of parents has no effect on their attitude towards sex education. The attitude of boys towards sex education is significantly more favourable as compared to girls.

The study aimed to assess the perceptions of department heads and administrators regarding the degree to which Educational District Managers practice administrative creativity in the districts of Mafraq governorate. To achieve this objective, the study followed the descriptive survey method, and used a questionnaire to collect data from the study sample which was selected from a population of 240 male and female employees (40 heads and 200 employees in education districts of Mafraq governorate). The sample consisted of (150) participants (25 department heads and 125 male and female employees). The data was analyzed by the use of statistical methods, such as means, standard deviations, the analysis of multiple variance and the method of Scheffe.  The study findings revealed that the participants' degree of perception was moderate, and that there were differences in their perceptions according to their different demographic variables. The study recommended preparing and designing training programs to develop the performance of educational leaders in education districts to implement the requirements of administrative innovation and creativity.

This research was carried out using the survey method in an attempt to find out the relationship between the life satisfaction and socio-economic status (SES) of adolescents. The research was conducted among 275 young Turkish people chosen by the random sampling method. The research findings determined that there was a significant difference between the life satisfaction and SES of the respondent students. On the other hand, contrary to expectations, there was no significant difference according to the gender variable.

This study aimed to reveal the attitudes of Arabic language teachers of the upper basic stage towards learning bridges activities from their point of view in Mafraq Governorate in Jordan. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive survey method was used. The study used an electronic questionnaire consisting of (20) items, It was distributed amongst the study sample members, which consisted of (172) male and female teachers, and they were chosen by the available intentional sample method. The results of the study showed that the degree of the Arabic language teachers’ attitudes of the upper basic stage towards the activities of learning bridges from their point of view was high; with an arithmetic mean (2.40), and the absence of statistically significant differences at the level (α = 0.05) in the estimates of the study sample members due to the variables (gender, educational qualification, training courses), and in light of the results of the study, the researcher presented a group among the recommendations the most important is encouraging and educating teachers in Jordanian schools to benefit from the activities of learning bridges in teaching.

The current study aimed to assess the degree of effectiveness of administrative creativity in Ramtha district schools from the perspective of male and female teachers. The study followed the descriptive survey method; and the population consisted of all male and female teachers of Ramtha schools (2100). The study sample consisted of (420) male and female teachers, selected by the random stratified method. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire consisting of (33) items was used. The results of the study showed that the overall assessment of the degree of effectiveness of administrative creativity in the schools of the Ramtha district from the perspective of the male and female teachers was within average with a mean of (2.99). There were also statistical differences due to the gender variable in favor of females, and the years of experience variable in favor of (5-9) years and (10 years and above). The study recommended the need to conduct continuous training courses and workshops to develop the practices and effectiveness of administrative creativity for school principals.

Twenty-first century skills are a set of capabilities and competencies that students need to cultivate and develop to succeed in the age of information and technology. The success and growth of today's youth in the labour market and the knowledge economy depend on the level of 21st century skills they possess. Hence the key objective of this study was to answer the questions: to what extent do the youth possess 21st century skills? Is there a difference between levels of 21st century skills on account of various demographic variables? The researchers used the descriptive survey method and selected 160 college students randomly from various higher education institutions of Kerala, the southern part of India, for the study. The significant findings of this study revealed that 15.6% have a Low level, 68.1% have an Average level, 16.3% have a high level of 21st-century skills. No significant difference exists between males and females and stream of subjects of college students with respect to the level of 21st century skills, but there is a substantial difference between the youth who belong to the urban and rural locality.

This research was conducted to determine the level of athletes' trait sportive confidence and to compare them in terms of demographic variances. In the research which is in the model descriptive survey, Trait Sportive Self Confidence Scale developed by Vealey (1986) was used as data collection tool. Based on typical sampling method of purposive sampling methods, this research sample is consisted of 279 athletes playing in Ptofessional Football League and female-male Volleyball League in Turkey in 2017-2018 season. In the evaluation of the research data, the assumptions of the tests were examined primarily; for unrelated measurements, t-test, one-way analysis of variance (One Way ANOVA) and Kruskal Wallis test. As a result of the research it was determinated that the trait sportive self-confidences of the athlethes were at a high level. When the findings of the study were evaluated in terms of demographic variables, it was determined that there was a significant difference according to the age or the status of the league played.

Blitar District is one of the areas that has potential in developing laying hens. However, laying hens in Blitar are still traditionally carried out and have not paid attention to aspects of effectiveness and efficiency economically. The purpose of the study was to find out the profile of farmer , test the level of farmer productivity and examine the effect of socio-economic factors (the age of farmer, education level, length of livestock raising and number of livestock) on labor productivity in laying hens in Blitar District. The study used a survey method with a sample of 22 sub-districts in Blitar District. The determination of the number of sub-districts was chosen using the purposive sampling method, so that 6 sub-districts were selected. Respondents were selected by the quota sampling method of 10 farmer in each selected region. Data collected were analyzed descriptively and statistically. To find out the social influence on productivity, classical assumption was tested and multiple linear regression tests. Based on the results of the study, the profile of laying hens in Blitar District carried out traditional farming systems with livestock ownership including high categories that had heterogeneous socio-economic status. Furthermore, labor productivity of laying hens in Blitar District is quite effective and efficient, because the value is greater than the minimum wage (UMR) of Blitar District. Age of farmers, education of farmers, and number of livestock have a significant influence on the productivity of laying hens farmers in Blitar District.

The study aimed to reveal the reality of the application of the management of the system of learning Cassera in the schools Talaea Alghad for middle school in Tabuk city , and also aimed to reveal the obstacles facing the application of the management of the system of learning Classera in the schools Talaea Alghad for middle school in Tabuk city , as well as aimed to reveal whether There are statistically significant differences between the average responses of members of the study community about the reality of applying the management of the Classera learning system in the schools Talaea Alghad middle school in Tabuk city due to the variables of experience in the schools Talaea Alghad vanguard, training courses in the use of Learning techniques, also aimed at detecting whether there are statistically significant differences between the averages of the response of the members of the study community about the obstacles facing the application of the management of the system of learning Classera in the schools Talaea Alghad middle school in Tabuk city due to the variables of experience in Tomorrow's vanguard schools, training courses in the use of learning techniques, the study was based on the descriptive survey method, and the questionnaire was used as a data collection tool, and the study community is of (45) teachers, the whole community has been taken and the tool has been distributed to all of them, and recovered from it. (45) To make up 100 % of the study community. From the study community, the results of the study concluded that the reality of the application of the system of e-learning management Classera in the the schools Talaea Alghad middle school in Tabuk came with a high degree of approval, and also found that the obstacles facing the application of the electronic learning management system Classera in the schools Talaea Alghad For the middle stage in Tabuk city came with a low degree of approval, and also found statistically significant differences at the level of (α = 0.01) between the average responses of members of the study community according to the change of experience in the schools Talaea Alghad in favor of experienced teachers (more than 5 years), and also found statistically significant differences at the level of (α = 0.01) between the average responses of members of the study community towards the reality of applying the management of the Classera learning system in the schools Talaea Alghad middle school in Tabuk city depending on the variable courses in the use of learning techniques for the benefit of the teachers Who have more than two courses, and also found statistically significant differences at the level (α = 0.01) between the average responses of members of the study community towards the obstacles to the application of the management of the system of learning Classera in the schools Talaea Alghad middle school in Tabuk city depending on the variable experience in schools Talaea Alghad vanguard for female teachers with less than two years of experience, and also found statistically significant differences at the level of (α = 0.01) between the average responses of members of the study community towards the obstacles facing the application of the management of the system of learning Classera in the schools Talaea Alghad middle school in Tabuk Depending on the course variable for female teachers, they do not have training courses in the use of learning techniques.

The researchers used the descriptive survey method. The study instrument consisted of the questionnaire which included (20) items, and the study sample individuals consisted of (72) male and female teachers. Results of the study showed that the role of social studies in developing consumption education in secondary schools during Corona pandemic (COVID – 19) came at high degree. the researchers have detected presence of differences between means of the teachers, answers on all fields of the questionnaire according to sex variable in favor of the females, presence of differences between means of the teachers’ answers on all fields of the questionnaire by the academic qualification variable in favor of the graduate studies, and the absence of differences between means of the teachers' answers to all fields of the questionnaire according to years of experience variable. The purpose of this study; is the comparisons of the motivational factors for participating sport festival in RUNTALIA case with respect to some demographic variables and two different run years.The study was descriptive and the universe is the participatns who want to run in 2015 and 2016 race.The sampling method for 2015 was convenience sampling and sampling consisted of 276 volunteer The sampling group of 2016-race was consisted of 432 volunteer participants who accept filling questionnaire when making application in to Official WEB sites of Runatolia among 9863 total participants.The questionnaire form consisted of two main part; first demographics variables and second “The Motivational Factors Scale for Participating Sport Festival- SFKMÖ” developed by Ardahan and Çalışkan. While face to face survey method in 2015, electronic survey method used in 2016.As a result, it can be concluded that, even if there were statistically meaningful difference in the motivational factors for participating in RUNTALIA with respect to some demographics variables between 2015 and 2016 race, the first three sub dimensions were same “Physical Activity”, “Fun/Pleasure” and “novelty”.Extended English abstract is in the end of PDF (TURKISH) file. ÖzetAraştırmanın amacı; Bireyleri Spor Festivallerine Katılmaya Motive eden faktörlerin RUNATOLIA örneğinde çeşitli demografik değişkenlere göre ve yıllara göre karşılaştırılmasıdır. Ana kütle 2015 ve 2016 yılında yarışmaya başvuran kişilerden oluşmaktadır. 2015 yılı örneklemi kolay örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenmiş 276 kişiden oluşurken,  2016 yılı örneklemi, katılımcıların etkinliğe Runatolia Kurumsal WEB adresi üzerinden başvurduğu sırada isteyen katılımcıların doldurabilecekleri elektronik anketi dolduran 432 kişiden oluşmaktadır.Verilerin toplanmasında demografik bilgiler ve Ardahan ve Çalışkan tarafından geliştirilen “Bireyleri Spor Festivallerine Katılmaya Motive Eden Faktörler Ölçeği (SFKMÖ)” nin yer aldığı anket formu kullanılmıştır. 2015 yılında anket yüzyüze uygulanırken, 2016 yılında elektronik anket formu kullanılmıştır.   Sonuç olarak; 2015 ve 2016 yılları çeşitli demografik değişkenlere göre karşılaştırıldığında SFKMÖ alt boyutlarında istatistiki olarak anlamlı farklılık olsa da yıllar itibariyle RUNATOLIA’ya katılım gerekçeleri önceliği sıralamasında (Fiziksel Aktivite, Eğlence ve Yenilik) her hangi bir değişiklik olmamıştır.
