social assessment is a process that ensures that the execution of action reasonably informed and considered the critical social issues that are relevant, as well as providing a participation strategy for involving stakeholders at large. Socialization and Enforcement of laws and regulations related to particularly riverside following the normalization of physical development plan/development Wonokromo River flood control infrastructure and Brangkal should use a local culture aligned with the socio-economic, gender, and education of local people issues social surfaced in every area of study and assessment of the following community expectations and their advice on the results of the social assessment. In light of this, it expected that pre-construction, construction, and post-construction could be well supported by social security by the carrier the benefit of both the public, private, and government.

Background: The increasing number of positive patients with Covid-19, the social impact in the form of stigma from being shunned by neighbors and even families and the impact of mental health, namely causing major psychosocial stresses that can trigger anxiety. Purpose  this study was to determine the stigma and level of public anxiety about Covid- 19. Methods: This type of research is descriptive quantitative, the study population is all people in the UPTD Haurgeulis Puskesmas, Indramayu Regency, as many as 88,468 people. The number of samples was 100 respondents using purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed statistically using univariate analysis and data presentation in the form of frequency distributions. Results: This study shows that people have a low stigma as much as 1% and those who experience a high stigma are as much as 99%. As well as people who do not experience anxiety as much as 14% and most of them experience mild anxiety as much as 86%. Conclusion: The public should be wiser in sorting out information related to Covid-19 from various sources and can manage anxiety with good self-coping management, for example by relaxation and positive thinking related to Covid-19.

The article is devoted to the analysis, theoretical substantiation of the establishment of criminal responsibility for acts related to the creation and participation in a terrorist community, as well as an analysis of the social causality of the criminalization of a terrorist community creation and participation in it. The article reveals the purpose and grounds for the criminalization of this activity. The author has paid special attention to the principles of criminalization and their compliance with the decision of the legislator to establish criminal liability for the creation of a terrorist community and participation in it. Attention is paid to the public danger of creating a terrorist community and participation in it, on which the social assessment of criminal acts is based.

Purpose This paper aims to purposely place community and its stakeholders at the forefront of an investigation of positive and negative social, economic and environmental impacts of the sharing economy in the specific context of Airbnb by drawing upon the triple bottom line (TBL) framework of sustainability. Design/methodology/approach A qualitative enquiry through a “scoping approach” with the search of relevant electronic databases identified a range of conceptual and empirical studies in the period from 2008 to 2018 informing a profile focussed on the triple bottom line impacts. Findings The criteria limited search yielded 23 focal articles, which investigated or discussed Airbnb impacts on local communities. Analysis of these articles informed a three-pillar tabulation of positive and negative impacts, which are presented against four key stakeholder groupings. Research limitations/implications The study is exploratory, and further research, especially confirmatory research, is recommended. Practical implications The study’s value extends to praxis. Guided by findings, real-time planning and policy-making are already underway within the authors’ community. Additionally, an extension project, as requested by the community, is now investigating direct traditional accommodation provider impacts. Social implications Understanding of the social issues concerning Airbnb and indeed, the wider sharing economy, is broadened through identified need for further social impact research. Originality/value To the best of authors’ knowledge, this is one of the first studies to apply a “scoping approach” to holistically illuminate the positive and negative impacts of Airbnb at the micro-level in each of the three domains of sustainability. The research methodology is shown to be effective, with positive community impact, and will easily adapt to other destinations grappling with policy decisions.

This paper aims to analyze the way in which the Greek press treats the socio-epistemic constitution of science and technology. By “socio-epistemic constitution” we mean the following dimensions: (a) techno-scientific methodology, (b) the social organization of the techno-scientific endeavor, and (c) the interactions of science and technology with other public spheres. Our methodology is based on a content analysis of a sample consisting of 1,867 relevant articles from four national Greek newspapers. The analysis showed that although there is a constant flow of techno-scientific articles, the internal aspects (methodology and internal organization) of science and technology become apparent in only a small minority of these articles. By contrast, external relationships, mainly with politics and economics, are emphasized by focusing on the positive social impact of the techno-scientific endeavor. In general, the Greek press makes a positive contribution to the advancement of the public understanding of science and technology, as the prominent presentation of some of their socio-epistemological components forms a realistic “post-academic” image of these two areas.

O presente estudo tem como problema de pesquisa: De que maneira a sociologia política da ação pública contribui para esclarecer as barreiras e indutores na implementação da inovação social? Para responder tal problema, esta pesquisa propõe a utilização do pentágono de políticas públicas como modelo de análise na implementação da inovação social, tendo em vista a capacidade do mesmo para análise de aspectos cognitivos dos atores, que podem contribuir para explanar a dimensão política da inovação social, a qual é tida como incógnita que demanda esclarecimento. O estudo da implementação da inovação social a partir de um modelo de análise de implementação de políticas públicas é possível porque tanto a inovação social quanto a ação pública levam em conta os quadros cognitivos decorrentes da interação e articulação de atores, aspectos subjetivos e objetivos, com foco na solução de uma questão social como a desigualdade social, a pobreza, o crime, o analfabetismo. Tanto a ação pública quanto a inovação social consideram importante a diversidade de atores e a atuação ativa destes, o empoderamento, o protagonismo dos mesmos, na busca por soluções para questões sociais. O estudo da inovação social é relevante para toda sociedade, pois é um tema que aborda questões de interesse coletivo. O presente trabalho inova na medida em que propõe que a implementação da inovação social seja analisada por meio do pentágono de políticas públicas. Palavras-Chave: Pentágono de Políticas Públicas. Implementação.   Abstract: The present study has the following research problem: How does the political sociology of public action contribute to clarify the barriers and dravers in the implementation of social innovation? To answer this problem, this research proposes the use of the public policies pentagon as a model of analysis in the social innovation implementation, given its ability to analyze cognitive aspects of actors, which contribute to explain the political dimension of social innovation, which is considered a unknown variable that requires clarification. The study of social innovation implementation from a model of public policy implementation analysis is possible because both social innovation and public action take into account cognitive aspects arising from the interaction and articulation of actors, subjective and objective aspects, focused on solving a social issue such as social inequality, poverty, crime, illiteracy. Both public action and social innovation consider important the diversity of actors and their active role, their empowerment, their protagonism, in the search for solutions to social issues. The social innovation study is relevant to society as a whole, as it is a topic that addresses issues of collective interest. The present study innovates in that it proposes that the implementation of social innovation be analyzed through of the public policies pentagon. Keywords: Public Policies Pentagon. I was excited. When I started working I was excited about the social impact mandate inherent in the public sector – how good! Then, as my work led me into the depths of the public sector’s limitations, I was swallowed by despair. As an advisor on the Government Inquiry into Mental Health and Addiction I was a sponge to the pain of the country. I heard the pain in young people, solo mothers, whänau, refugees of not being heard, seen or supported. The reality of slow, siloed, under-resourced and overly risk-averse agencies was undeniable.

Social enterprise is a management practice that integrates principles of private enterprise with social sector goals and objectives. Social enterprise is a relatively new type of social work macro practice and includes a variety of sustainable economic activities designed to yield social impact for individuals, families, and communities. Despite the increased popularity of social enterprise scholarship, social work is visibly absent from it. Social enterprise is a field that promises to harness the energy and enthusiasm of commercial entrepreneurship combined with macro practice to address many long-standing social issues. Despite being a popular practice phenomenon, empirical research on social enterprise is still quite nascent, indeed: only a few empirical articles on the subject have thus far appeared in academic journals, and even fewer in social work journals. This article provides an overview of social enterprise, and the potential for synergy between social enterprise, the social work profession, and education.

In the new technological and social reality characterized by collaborative environments where people share information and experiences as a source of value, the purpose of this chapter is explain how public administrations and governments can make use of CRM integrated with the functionalities of Web 2.0. In this regard, firstly we study how CRM can be integrated with Web 2.0, creating what might be called CRM 2.0, and analyze how governments can use CRM 2.0 to optimize their work processes and improve their services. Then we analyse the social impact relating with the priority objectives for governments, and present the case of different pioneer public administrations in the use of CRM 2.0, analyzing its technological solution and achieved benefits. As a result of this analysis, we have found positive evidence of the beneficial effects for society and for the public administration itself, generated by the use of CRM 2.0 in e-government. Finally, we present the future lines of work and the conclusions.

At a time when the public good is under attack and there seems to be a growing apathy toward the social contract or any other civic-minded investment in public values and the larger common good, education has to be seen as more than a credential or a pathway to a job, and pedagogy as more than teaching to the test. Against pedagogies of repression such as high-stakes testing, which largely serve as neoliberal forms of discipline to promote conformity and limit the imagination, critical pedagogy must be viewed as crucial to understanding and overcoming the current crises of agency, politics, and historical memory faced by many young people today. One of the challenges facing the current generation of educators and students is the need to reclaim the role that education has historically played in developing critical literacies and civic capacities. Abstract: The consequent enlargement of the European Union in 2004 and 2007 gave the new-member-states an access to programs and financial sources with significant capacity and impact. The present paper aims to analyze the influence of the social policy framework over the public service delivery in Bulgaria. The first part of the paper is devoted to the general categorization of social services’ suppliers and the already established mechanism of their functioning. In the second part the focus on the conceptual framework introduces the main dimensions of the policy, institutional regulations and operational programs. The third part provides empirical results from the efficiency analysis of the social programs implementation and discussion on their impact.
