<p>This study aimed to evaluating the textbooks of sciences and Islamic education of the<br />secondary level in Jordan based on the modern standards of educational environment, and the<br />study tried to answer the following questions:<br />-What are the modern standards of the educational environment that should be available in the<br />books of sciences and Islamic education of the secondary level in Jordan?<br />- What is the compatibility degree of the textbooks of sciences and Islamic education of the<br />secondary level with the modern standards of the educational environment?<br />The study sample consisted of the same study population; it’s the textbooks of sciences and<br />Islamic education of the secondary level Released by the Ministry of Education for the<br />academic year 2012/2013 AD. And to achieve the objectives of the study, the Researchers have<br />developed a tool to measure and analyze included seven axes and twenty-seven contemporary<br />standards to the environmental education at the secondary level. The tool was presented to<br />committee of specialists to make sure of its sincerity, Extraction reliability coefficient using<br />(Holsti) stability equation , so the reliability coefficient reaching over time90.1%) and by<br />individuals (86.9%), which is acceptable for the purposes of the study, and this was as an<br />answer to the first question of the study.</p>

This study aimed at identifying the perceptions of Islamic education teachers in Jordan concerning the use and the challenges of Darsak platform. The study sample consisted of (112) teachers of Islamic education at Marka Directorate of Education, Amman, during the academic year 2020/2021. The study sample, comprised of (30%) of the study population, was chosen using the stratified random sampling method. Questionnaire was used as a tool to gather data from the targeted group; after verifying the validity and reliability of the collected data. Appropriate statistical methods were used to analyze collected data. The study found that the perceptions of the teachers of Islamic education concerning Darsak platform lessons were generally average, whereas their perceptions concerning the platform challenges were of a high degree. The results of the study indicated that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of (&alpha; = 0.05) in the perceptions of the teachers of Islamic education concerning Darsak platform lessons and challenges attributed to the variables of gender, qualifications, and years of experience. Among the most prominent recommendations of the study were that the Ministry of Education should conduct a comprehensive review of the Islamic education lessons on Darsak platform to rectify the errors that were mentioned in some lessons. It should also reupload the modified versions of the lessons of Islamic education on the platform. Further, the Ministry of Education should employ variety of methods and strategies in presenting Islamic education lessons.

The study aimed to identify the role of the budget in raising the efficiency of financial ‎performance in the Directorate of Education in the northern governorates. The two ‎researchers used: qualitative research.‎ The interview tool was adopted: it consisted of (3) main themes. The first axis: about ‎budget preparation and included (8) questions. The second axis: about the implementation ‎of the budget, and included (7) questions. The third axis: about the relationship between ‎the budget and the efficiency of financial performance. The interview questions included ‎open questions and closed questions.‎ The study population is made up of members of the Finance Committee and is responsible ‎for the budget preparation process. They number (68) in the second semester of the ‎academic year 2020-2021. The sample size is (19) by 28%. The most important results are: ‎ o The budget plays a major role in raising the efficiency of financial performance, as ‎it is one of the activities planning tools, as the revenue amounts are distributed ‎among the budget items.‎ o The budget has a role in raising the efficiency of financial performance in the ‎education directorates through its oversight role on performance.‎ Recommendations: ‎ o Increasing the powers of education directorates in the budget preparation process ‎by the Ministry of Education in order to achieve a higher level of flexibility in it to ‎meet the needs within the priorities.‎ o Conducting training courses on budget preparation, implementation, and follow-‎up by the Ministry of Education in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance, and ‎not to be limited to department heads only, but extend to all employees in the ‎directorate's departments and those willing and qualified to prepare budgets‎.

This study aimed to Abstract Evaluation of the Islamic Education Student's Books for the Lower Basic Stage in Jordan According to the Contemporary Criteria for the  Environmental Education, the study sample consisted of the same study population, the Islamic Education Textbooks of basic upper stage the Ministry of Education for the academic year 2015/2016. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, researcher developed measuring instrument, and the analysis included nine axles, and twenty-seven standard contemporary environmental Educational basic stage, has been the tool presented to the committee of judges who specialize in the curriculum, and the environment; to make sure of the sincerity, then the researcher process analysis, where was assigned to one of the teachers, who holds a master's degree in curriculum and methods of teaching Islamic education to do the analysis process, too. reliability factor has been extracted using holsti equation (Holsti) for stability, reaching reliability coefficient over time (%89.7), and through the people (%86.8) and this parameter is acceptable for the purposes of the study, frequencies, percentages were used, and the study's results revealed  the low availability of contemporary standards of environmental education in those books.. In light of the findings, the researcher recommended : Including the environmental dimension in the books of Islamic education for the higher stage of basic education in Jordan, to enter information and concepts of environmental, or linking content appropriate environmental issues The lower basic stage, contemporary.

<p>Waste is an increasing problem in Small Island States (SIDs) such as Kiribati. In Kiribati the major concern is on the capital island, South Tarawa with more than 6,500 tons of solid waste generated each year. With only a tiny strip of land supporting a large population, it is no wonder it resulted as the highest population density compared to Tokyo. More than half of the Kiribati population lives on the capital, South Tarawa with an estimation of 150 people per/km^2 Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)/Environmental Education (EE) are taught through Social Studies, Science and other disciplinary subjects only in primary up to junior secondary school. The missing link of this ESD/EE can be found at the secondary level. The main aim of this research is to find out ways of incorporating ESD/EE at secondary level in order to help minimise waste issues that are present on urbanised South Tarawa. By formalising education for sustainable development/environmental education into the secondary school syllabus, it will help young citizens of Kiribati prepared as active members of society. As the Ministry of Education (NZ) states "nvironmental education provides a relevant context for identifying, exploring, and developing values and attitudes that can ensure students' active participation in maintaining and improving the quality of the local, national, and global environment."(Education for sustainability). This thesis argues that it is important to include Education for Sustainable Development into secondary school syllabus in order to help minimise the waste issues that have been experienced by the people living on South Tarawa.</p>

The study aimed to identify the role of Jordanian schools in confronting the moral crisis from the point of view of teachers in Jordanian schools. The study population consisted of all the teachers in Jordanian schools of the Jordanian ministry of education for the academic year 2017/2018. The study sample consisted of (50) teachers who were selected as representatives of the study society. The study followed the method of qualitative research due to its relevance to the nature of the study and used the interview for this purpose. The results of the study showed that there is a role for the Jordanian schools in facing the moral crisis، which was clear and effective by the commitment of the schools to the teachings of the Islamic religion. The study recommended the need to highlight the ethical aspects in the curriculum and linking them to the Islamic faith and develop the role of the teacher in the development of the moral values of students.

    The purpose of this study is to prove that the use of the environment around the school can improve students' understanding of the subject Civic Education in Elementary School student 39 Class II Gompong Market. This study uses a class action approach. The study population was taken of all students in grade II , the data collection techniques used artificial teacher learning achievement test. Actions performed a total of two cycles. Data analysis techniques used analysis of the percentage of change in the results of the evaluation study before and after tutoring services with peer tutors. Thus there is an increase in students' mastery of the first cycle and the second cycle. Based on the above, it can be made a conclusion as follows: " Improving Student Creativity activeness And Implementation Approach In CBSA On Civics Lesson Grade II SD Negeri 39 Lengayang Gompong.Kec Markets Academic Year 2016/2017 " .

<p>The research tackled the academic intrinsic motivation and its relationship with the emotional intelligence with a sample of the academic overachievers and underachievers of Najran University. The study population consisted of the students of Najran University who are enrolled in the University academic year 2015/2016, during the first semester in the various colleges. The study sample consisted of (423) male and female students; and the study instruments included the emotional IQ which consisted of (54) items, and the academic intrinsic motivation questionnaire, which consisted of (36) items, to identify the overall emotional intelligence degree and the motivation with the students. The results showed that the academic intrinsic motivation and emotional intelligence degrees were high with the university students. Furthermore, the results showed a direct correlational, statistically significant relationship between the academic intrinsic motivation and the emotional intelligence; and there are statistically significant differences between the motivation and emotional intelligence among the academically outstanding and non-outstanding students.</p>

With the progress of time, the aim of teaching and learning English as a Second Language (ESL) or English as a Foreign Language (EFL) changed, and so did the approaches and methods in language teaching. Different methods and approaches emerged and were replaced, influenced or contributed to the emergence of new methods. It is widely acknowledged that one umbrella approach to language teaching that has become the accepted "norm" in this field is the Communicative Language Teaching Approach. This study deals with the theories and practices of CLT at the Higher Secondary level in Bangladesh. Realizing the significance of CLT, The Ministry of Education in Bangladesh made groundbreaking attempts to implement CLT in the new context and also brought some changes in the curriculum in 1990s. Along with attempting to provide a real picture of how CLT is practiced and utilized in an ESL/EFL context, this study focuses on the Practice of CLT approach in Bangladesh. This study aimed at defining the role of educational media in promoting the values of citizenship among students of secondary schools in Zarqa Education Directorate II from viewpoint of their teachers.The study used a descriptive approach. A questionnaire was developed, consisting of 30 paragraphs, which evaluated the role of educational media in promoting the values of citizenship among students of secondary schoolsin Zarqa Education Directorate II from viewpoint of their teachers. The validity and reliability of the study's tool have been verified. The sample of the study consisted of the schools' teachers of Zarqa Education Directorate II.They were 250 male and female teachers for the academic year 2016-2017 selected from among the schools of Zarqa Education Directorate II.The results of the study were as follows:-          The role of educational media in promoting the values of citizenship among the students of secondary schools in Zarqa Education Directorate II from the viewpoint of their teachers.-          In favor of females, there were statistically significance differences in the role of educational media in promoting the values of citizenship among the students of secondary schools from the viewpoint of their teachers due to gender variable.-          In favor of females, there were statistically significant differences in promoting of the values of citizenship among students of secondary schools in Zarqa Education Directorate II from the viewpoint of their teachers attributed to specialization variable.-          There were no statistically significant differences due to experience variable.The study recommended achieving the goal of education through the institutions of the Ministry of Education by educational media, and activating the role of educational media to develop the values of citizenship among the students of secondary schools.
