Abstrak Literasi digital merupakan suatu bentuk kemampuan untuk mendapatkan, memahami dan menggunakan informasi yang berasal dari berbagai sumber dalam bentuk digital. Literasi ini sendiri dalam konteks pendidikan berperan dalam mengembangkan pengetahuan seseorang pada materi pelajaran tertentu serta mendorong rasa ingin tahu dan mengembangkan kreativitas yang dimiliki. Hal inilah yang menuntut mahaiswa agar memiliki literasi atau kemampuan untuk mengolah dan memahami informasi yang baik untuk dipelajari dan di mengerti dengan begitu perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat, memungkinkan mahasiswa untuk lebih muda dalam mengakses informasi. Literasi digital juga sangat diperlukan untuk mengatasi masalah ledakan informasi yang terus meningkat di dalam sumber digital. Masyarakat kini dihadapi dengan perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat masyarakat juga dituntut untuk memilah dan memilih Informasi yang sesuai dengan keadaan yang sebenarnya. Paparan berbagai macam informasi dari media membuat kebanyakan orang ragu akan informasi yang benar dan tidak benar adanya. Maka dengan adanya fenomena tersebut, pengetahuan literasi media sangat dibutuhkan sebagai kemampuan untuk mengolah informasi. Dalam hal ini Penyalahgunaan teknologi digital dapat berdampak buruk bagi kehidupan pribadi dan sosial. Oleh karena itu literasi digital perlu dikembangkan untuk membangun karakter bangsa guna menciptakan generasi yang cerdas dan kaya akan informasi serta kritis dalam memilih informasi yang baik dan benar. Dimensi literasi digital meliputi alat dan sistem, informasi dan data, berbagi dan kreasi, konteks sejarah dan budaya. Melalui pemahaman terhadap dimensi dimensi tersebut dapat dikembangkan menjadi materi yang dapat membantu seseorang untuk lebih kritis dalam memilih Informasi. Abstract Digital literacy is a form of ability to obtain, understand and use information from various sources in digital form. This literacy itself in the context of education plays a role in developing one's knowledge on certain subject matter and encouraging curiosity and developing one's creativity. This is what requires students to have literacy or the ability to process and understand information that is good to learn and understand, so the rapid development of technology allows students to access information more easily. Digital literacy is also very much needed to overcome the problem of the ever-increasing explosion of information in digital sources. Society is now faced with very rapid technological developments; people are also required to sort and choose the information that is under the actual situation. Exposure to various kinds of information from the media makes most people doubt whether the information is true or not. So, with this phenomenon, knowledge of media literacy is needed as the ability to process information. In this case, the misuse of digital technology can harm personal and social life. Therefore, digital literacy needs to be developed to build the nation's character to create a generation that is intelligent and rich in information and critical in choosing good and correct information. Dimensions of digital literacy include tools and systems, information and data, sharing and creation, historical and cultural contexts. Through an understanding of these dimensions, it can be developed into material that can help someone to be more critical in choosing information.

Communities are increasingly familiar with Internet technology became one of the reasons for the rapid growth of digital newspaper in Indonesia. The ability of the media presents news in brief, fast, accessible and inexpensive form the basis of high growth of consumer interest in digital newspaper / electronic. Technological developments, triggering changes to the newspaper that had shaped the physical print later developed in digital form. In principle, newspaper print and digital newspapers contain messages or the same news, namely providing information to readers about the actual and weighted, as well as other light information that is entertainment. Review the anatomy of the digital newspaper layout is a study to trace and explore what and how the anatomy of a newspaper page layout, at least to provide information and understanding of the anatomy of the layouts in outline. Process layout in the digital version is no different from print media, which distinguishes its output only. In the process to any design layout of a medium, a designer is still expected to possess and master the basic principles such as layout hierarchy, emphasis, balance, and unity.

Communication is one of the areas most affected by technological developments. This change in the field of communication affects society in all its dimensions. Today, the media, which has become a force that affects, changes, and transforms social life in a serious way, is one of the most important elements of socialization. Media literacy is an extremely important concept to understand the functioning and policies of media institutions to ensure that individuals are not exposed to the manipulative effects of media production and to be able to analyze media content accurately. This study focuses on how media content is framed by addressing media and media literacy from a holistic perspective and emphasizes the importance of media literacy in analyzing these frameworks. In this context, the concept of media literacy is discussed in detail and how a sample news about media production is constructed in the context of critical media literacy is analyzed by the method of framing analysis.

The existence of a laboratory in an engineering department is very important. The reality is that not all students can use existing laboratories in the engineering department due to limited laboratory space, tools and time constraints. The very rapid development of technology cannot be avoided. Active smartphone users in Indonesia reach over 100 million users. This proves that today's technological developments are very influential in everyday life. There are various kinds of technological developments that have occurred to date. One of these very rapid developments has led to digital technology which is increasingly favored by the community such as VR ( Virtual Reality ) technology which is able to provide the worldvirtual. Therefore, VR technology is used to solve student’s problems in accessing the laboratory. Where the VR technology takes a laboratory background. The utilization is in the form of virtual laboratory applications as digital educational media using VR technology which can later interact directly with practicum tools in the virtual laboratory application.

The article explores some methodological issues and the role of digital technologies in the humanities, education system, and public life. The relevance of the research topic is confirmed by the rapid development of digital resources and technologies in public life, including humanities and education. The positive role of digital technologies for the development of humanities and education is emphasized; they are characterized by interdisciplinarity and open up new possibilities for research. It is argued that the process of digitalization is a reflection of the new historical realities of social life, including science and education, a reflection of the new needs of society in the research environment. And materialistic understanding of the phenomena of social life as the most important method of research, comprehension, and evaluation of social processes is used as the main method of research. It is argued that digital technologies in the humanities and education have serious negative consequences. This manifests itself in a potential decrease in intellectual activity, analytical abilities, and physical development of a person. Digital technologies are capable of taking a person into another reality, disrupting the process of traditional socialization, live communication. Such processes have a negative impact on his personal development, which contradicts the criterion of justice and social progress, which are expressed in the comprehensive development of the individual. It is argued that even the most advanced digital technology cannot replace the moral and psychological moments of live teacher-student communication.

It is shown that the critical factor in the modern reality is not only the emergence of a new information and communication field, radically transforming the usual infrastructure of social life, but also the explosive growth of the speed of change caused by the rapid development of digital technology. Attention is drawn to the qualitative leap in the speed of development, which refers to the transition to a reality where radical changes in technological infrastructure and the resulting changes in the life of society began to occur repeatedly in the course of a single human life, in real time. It is argued that as a result of the information revolution a new order of uncertainty has arisen, which requires a new way of thinking on the part of man. The problem of minimally correct forecasting in the main spheres of social being is analyzed.

This research tries to reveal how Muslim teenagers' perceptions and interpretations of hoax news are often circulating in social media. The phenomenon of hoax spreads or false information gets a big moment when social media becomes very common on the internet. People become agents of hoax distribution because they believe in hoax content. Young teenagers are considered the most vulnerable affected by false or hoax news because the characteristics tend to be explorative, always curious, easily influenced, and tend to receive just the contents of the media. It may pose a latent danger and potentially divisive perceptions of society. This research uses Stimulus, Organism, and Response (SOR) theory through qualitative approaches. Data was collected through the FGD method, observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation by using purposive sampling. Meanwhile, to ensure the validity of the data, it is done with the triangulation of data and sources. The results revealed a relationship between understandings of the hoax with the rejection of hoax. It suggests that hoaxes as false news are designed to pose a threat to social life. The study concluded that people, especially Muslim youth, reexamine the truth of the information with "Tabayyun. It also increases digital literacy to be smart and critical in the media.   Penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengungkap bagaimana persepsi dan interpretasi remaja muslim mengenai berita hoaks yang kerap beredar di media sosial Fenomena penyebaran hoaks atau berita bohong mendapat momen besar ketika media sosial menjadi sangat umum berkembang di zaman internet. Masyarakat menjadi agen penyebaran Hoaks karena percaya dengan konten hoaks. Kalangan remaja remaja dinilai paling rentan terpengaruh berita bohong atau hoaks karena karakteristiknya cenderung eksploratif, selalu ingin tahu, mudah terpengaruh dan cenderung menerima begitu saja isi media. Ini dapat menimbulkan bahaya laten dan beragam persepsi yang berpotensi memecah belah masyarakat. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan teori Stimulus, Organisme dan Respon (SOR) melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan melalui, metode FGD, Observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sementara itu, untuk menjamin validitas data, dilakukan dengan triangulasi data dan sumber. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan terdapat hubungan antara pemahaman terhadap hoaks dengan penolakan terhadap hoaks. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hoaks sebagai berita bohong yang terdesain menjadi ancaman bagi kehidupan sosial. Penelitian menyimpulkan agar masyarakat khususnya remaja muslim memeriksa kembali kebenaran sebuah berita dengan “Tabayyun. Selain itu juga meningkatkan literasi digital agar dapat pintar dan kritis dalam bermedia.

<p><strong><em>Abstract:</em></strong><em> The rate of development of digital technology, which is increasing from time to time has a positive impact on all aspects of life. However, it cannot be denied that it also has a negative effect. Technology crime is a threat to parents, especially mothers. How not, with all kinds of technological developments that make a sophisticated family especially mothers, play the most significant role to guard their children into reliable children by forming children's self-defense. As the first and foremost educator, a mother is required to be a smart mother. Therefore, through this paper, the author seeks to initiate a precise strategy for a mother to form a reliable child. The plan is in the form of direction, training, assignment, habituation, escort, and example. This is important for the child's learning process to instill values and character. The mother is not only required to teach her child to critically understand the media so that it is not consumed by hoaxes but also wise in their use. Related to this, the author conducted library research to realize this strategy so that it can be a solution for optimizing intelligence and character of children in the digital era and being able to maintain family institutions as superior community miniatures.</em></p><strong><em>Keywords:</em></strong><em> Strategy; Self Defense; Gadgets; Digital Era.</em>

The society of "Western civilization" is a consumer society. A special role belongs here to the media, which have become an inseparable element in the life of a modern man. Their universality, as well as rapid development have caused that they deeply penetrated various areas of social life, becoming available not only for adults but also for children from their early age. The life of contemporary children is very strongly associated with the mass media, and the media have become an extremely important link in the process of socialization. The range and influence of the media are not only growing, but they are also completely different than they used to be. In addition to many functions that the media meet, they are also an important carrier for advertising. Children and young people can be both the recipients of the advertisement and its active participants. More and more advertising messages are directly or indirectly addressed to minors. Advertising affects an important cognitive sphere of a child and its interpersonal and social relations. A child left on the impact of advertising, accepts its content uncritically. This leads to the formation of many defective and, unfortunately, lasting beliefs that affect the formation of a child’s personality, the system of beliefs and values. The following text aims to present, based on the literature of the subject, a broad spectrum of advertising impact on a child, with a particular emphasis on television advertising. My assumption is to show the problem from the perspective of social sciences, including sociology. For this reason, I am not concentrating only on the psychological dimension of the phenomenon but I am also trying to outline important aspects of socio-cultural reality in which the process of socialization of child consumption takes place. This is a review article. The basis of the scientific workshop is the research - analysis of the secondary media with regard to reports, publications, newsletters, catalogues and information relating to the influence of media on consumer behavior of children, both in Poland and in some western societies in the world. I hope that the article will help to draw attention to the problem not only of the communities involved in psycho-social aspects of a child's development, but will also increase public awareness of the impact of media advertising on children.

Television advertisement is an effective medium that aims to market a product or service, because it combines audio and visuals. therefore television advertisement can effectively influence the audience to buy the product or service. Advertisement nowadays does not only convey promotional messages, but can also be a medium for delivering social messages. That is one form of the function of the media, which is to educate the public. The research entitled Representation of Morality in the Teh Botol Sosro Advertisement "Semeja Bersaudara" version analyzed the morality value in a television advertisement from ready-to-drink tea producers, Teh Botol Sosro entitled "Semeja Bersaudara" which began airing in early 2019. In this study researchers used Charles Sanders Peirce's Semiotics theory with triangular meaning analysis tools in the form of Signs, Objects and Interpretations. In addition, researchers also use representation theory from Stuart Hall in interpreting messages in advertisements. The results of this study found that the "Semeja Bersaudara" version of Teh Botol Sosro advertisement represented a message in the form of morality. There are nine values of morality that can be taken in this advertisement including, friendly attitude, sharing, empathy, help, not prejudice, no discrimination, harmony, tolerance between religious communities and cross-cultural tolerance. The message conveyed in this advertisement is how the general public can understand how every human action in social life has moral values, so that the public can understand and apply moral values in order to live a better life.

Many users like to watch video by a mobile phone, but the media player has many limitations. With a rapid development of communication and network, multimedia based technology is adopted in media player. Different approaches shows in this paper are plug-in extension technology, multimedia based on hierarchy, media player based on file browser, media player based on FFmpeg (Fast Forward Moving Picture Expert Group), media player based on file server.
