The example of a tangible shopping experience clearly demonstrates that a customer journey in terms of operational excellence is closely related to modern Facility Management activities. FM takes over a decisive role when it comes to creating future marketplaces. The Added Value Model is supportive through the identification of actual AVs by integrating various stakeholder perspectives. Insights related to all stakeholders’ demands and the subordinate corporate strategy are essential in terms of identifying the individual needs that sustainably influence the customer journey. This study assists in generating additional important insights regarding the method of measuring the AV of FM as a competitive advantage and knowledge-generating tool for corporates.

Customers with diversified tastes have come to expect more than high product quality and performance. A high level of added value is required, and the provision for products that meet the individual requirements customers has become important. In recent years, delight design has attracted attention as a method for enhancing customer satisfaction. Delight design describes a design that offers attractive qualities beyond the required performance and quality requirements. However, attractiveness depends on the quality of the designer; furthermore, there are difficulties associated with the definition and expression based on similarities between the actual design and the original idea. Therefore, in this study, we have proposed two methods for constructing neural network models: one for a value model using customer KANSEI data and one for an evaluation model for customers (designed as an inverse model). The customer value model creates the required product design from KANSEI. The evaluation model analyzes KANSEI for the individual customer and creates a design (delight design) according to KANSEI engineering and the preferences of the individual customer. The method proposed in this study was applied to the crack pattern seen on ceramic surfaces.

The development of modern civilization attests to its decisive role in the progressive development of institutions. They identified the difference between Western civilization and the rest of the world. Confirmation of the institutional advantages of the West was its early industrialization. The genesis and formation of institutionalism in its ideological and conceptualmethodological orientation occurs as a process alternative to neoclassic in the context of world heterodoxia, which quickly spread in social science. Highlighting institutional education as a separate area of sociocultural activity is determined by the factor of differentiation of institutional theory as a whole. A feature of institutional education is its orientation toward the individual and his/her transformation into a personality. The content of institutional education is revealed through the analysis of the institution, which includes a set of established customs, traditions, ways of thinking, behavioral stereotypes of individuals and social groups. The dynamics of socio-political, economic transformations in Ukraine requires a review of the foundations of national education and determination of the prospects for its development in the 21st century in the context of institutionalism.

AbstractMonitoring pipe corrosion is one of the critical aspects in the well intervention. Such analysis is used to evaluate and justify any remedial actions, to prolong the longevity of the well. Typical corrosion evaluation methods of tubulars consist of multifinger caliper tools that provide high-resolution measurements of the internal condition of the pipe. Routinely, this data is then analyzed and interpreted with respect to the manufacture's nominal specification for each tubular. However, this requires assumptions on the outer diameter of the tubular may add uncertainty, and incorrectly calculate the true metal thicknesses. This paper will highlight cases where the integration of such tool and electromagnetic (EM) thickness data adds value in discovering the true condition of both the first tubular and outer casings.These case studies demonstrate the use of a multireceiver, multitransmitter electromagnetic (EM) metal thickness tool operating at multiple simultaneous frequencies. It is used to measure the individual wall thickness across multiple strings (up to five) and operates continuously, making measurements in the frequency domain. This tool was combined with a multifinger caliper to provide a complete and efficient single-trip diagnosis of the tubing and casing integrity. The combination of multifinger caliper and EM metal thickness tool results gives both internal and external corrosion as well as metal thickness of first and outer tubular strings.The paper highlights multiple case studies including; i) successfully detecting several areas of metal loss (up to greater than 32%) on the outer string, which correlated to areas of the mobile salt formation, ii) overlapping defects in two tubulars and, iii) cases where a multifinger caliper alone doesn't provide an accurate indication of the true wall thickness. The final case highlights the advantages of integrating multiple tubular integrity tools when determining the condition of the casing wall.Metal thickness tools operating on EM principles benefit from a slim outer diameter design that allows the tools to pass through restrictions which typically would prevent ultrasonic scanning thickness tools. Additionally, EM tools are unaffected by the type of fluid in the wellbore and not affected by any non-ferrous scale buildup that may present in the inside of the tubular wall. Combinability between complementary multifinger caliper technology and EM thickness results in two independent sensors to provide a complete assessment of the well architecture.

It is proved that the soil on which the ideas of the Cyril and Methodius civil religion originated is Western European romanticism, religiosity, the starting point of which was the idea of religion as the focus of the spiritual world of the individual and community, the idea of the Higher Reason that sets the directions for historical development, Christianity a decisive role in the spiritual and moral and social renewal of mankind, the view of Ukraine as an independent cultural and historical and social force, the influence of creativity T. Shevche gt; The main ideas of the civil religion of the Cyril Methodians are as follows: the messianism of the Ukrainian spirit manifests itself in the ability to unite the Slavs in the best way, because Ukraine is inspired by self-sacrifice with the Christian spirit and has apostolic intercession; Kiev - the capital of the resurrected from the oppression of the Slavs, the city - in which the courts prevail, truth, equality; concepts "temple", "truth", "righteous judgment", "freedom", "brotherhood", "equality", "love", "Kiev", "Kiev mountains" - the basic concepts-symbols of the Ukrainian civil religion; in the Ukrainian community with the need to coincide Christian values and moral standards, which dominate it.

This paper analyzes the development of agricultural trade of the countries of the Visegrad Group with emphasis on development of the value of agricultural exports of the individual countries. The subject matter of the analysis is the sensitivity of the commodity structure of agricultural exports of individual countries and the identification of aggregations that are the least and the most sensitive to changes to the external and internal economic environment. From the conducted research, agricultural trade in the V4 countries was found to have developed very dynamically from 1993 to 2008, while the commodity structure of exports has constantly narrowed as the degree of specialization of the individual countries has increased (this applies especially to the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary). From the results of analysis of sensitivity to changes of selected variables relating to the development of the value of agricultural exports of the individual V4 countries, it appears that the aggregations that react most sensitively to changes are those that are the subject of re-exports, followed by the aggregations that are characterized by a high degree of added value. In general it can be said that products of agricultural primary production exhibit less sensitivity in comparison with grocery industry products. This is confirmed by the general trend arising from the very nature of consumer behaviour.

Hinsichtlich der Optimierung der werkzeugbauseitigen Wertschöpfung birgt besonders der Serienanlauf der Werkzeuge aufgrund hoher Zeit- und Kostenanteile umfangreiches Potenzial. Die digitale Prozessunterstützung stellt in diesem Zusammenhang einen maßgeblichen Optimierungsansatz dar. Neben einer verbesserten Prozesssynchronisation lassen sich Lerneffekte standort- und projektübergreifend nutzen.   Tool making plays a decisive role in the realization of time and cost advantages of new products. With regard to the optimization of the tool shop’s added value, the qualification and ramp-up of tools holds extensive potential due to high time and cost shares. In this context, digital process support represents a decisive optimization approach. In addition to improved process synchronization, learning effects can be used across different sites and projects.

PurposeWithin the highly competitive clothing retail industry, retailers (both affordable and premium) need to consider which customer experience elements drive customer satisfaction and repurchase intentions. The purpose of this study is to determine whether customer expectations are different for various types of clothing retailers, and what customers specifically expect when purchasing from a retailer.Design/methodology/approachFor this study, a positivistic quantitative research design and a non-probability convenience sampling method were used. A total of 222 useable questionnaires were used to conduct descriptive statistics. Confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation modelling and multi-group analysis were run to test the hypotheses.FindingsThe results indicate that customers expect affordable retailers to provide them with convenience and to create a positive shopping experience, while premium clothing retailers should offer added-value and convenience. In addition, the presence of other customers influences the experience. For both groups, satisfaction was a predictor of loyalty, which, in turn, was a predictor of repurchase intentions.Originality/valueThe study is unique as it compares the customer expectations for satisfaction and repurchase intentions for both affordable retailers and premium retailers. The study is conducted in an emerging market context where the growth of the retailing industry is visible. By conducting this study, both affordable and premium clothing retailers are more informed with regards to their customer's expectations and how those expectations should be managed in order to ensure satisfaction and repurchase intention.

The ever more stringent global CO2 and pollutant emission regulations imply that the optimization of conventional powertrains can only provide partial reductions in fleet emissions. Vehicle manufacturers are therefore responding by increasing the electrification of their powertrain portfolios. This in turn, results in higher levels of electrification of the individual powertrain units. The increase in electric power leads to a comprehensive range of possible technologies—from 48 V mild hybrids to pure electric concepts. The powertrain topology and the configuration of the electrical components of a hybrid powertrain play a decisive role in determining the overall efficiency when considering the individual market requirements. Different hybrid functions as well as performance and customer requirements are determined from statutory cycles and in customer operation. A virtual development chain that is based on MATLAB/Simulink then represents the steps for the identification, configuration, and evaluation of new electrified powertrains. The tool chain presented supports powertrain development through automated conceptualization, design, and evaluation of powertrain systems and their components. The outcome of the entire tool chain is a robust concept decision for future powertrains. Using this methodical and reproducible approach, future electrified powertrain concepts are identified.

KABISA is a computer-based program for training in diagnostic problems in (sub-) tropical regions. It challenges the individual student with a randomly generated case, for which he should try to find the diagnosis, asking questions, performing a physical examination, and ordering tests. The built-in tutor follows the student’s input with complex logical algorithms and mathematical computations, gives comments and support, and accepts the final diagnosis if sufficient evidence has been built up. Several problems arose with the development. In the first place, the evolution in the teaching of clinical logic is always ahead of the program, so regular updating of the computer logic is necessary. Secondly, the choice of MS Access as computer language has provoked problems of stability, especially the installation of an MSAccess runtime. Thirdly, and most importantly, scholars want proof of the added value of computer programs over classical teaching. Moreover, the concept of a pedagogical “game” is often regarded as childish. Finally, the planning and financing of an “open-ended” pedagogical project is questioned by deciders, as is the case with all operational research.

Bioeconomy regions are a young concept representing emerging amalgamation points for the implementation of cross-sectoral value-added chains. When sustainable bioeconomy strategies are rolled out, their proof-of-concept implies that industrial R&D activities should lead to impact decoupling and that the valorization of locally available lignocellulosic biomass has to contribute to an increase in added value. Furthermore, regional co-benefits for society and a positive influence on local environmental and socioeconomic conditions are major factors. The fulfillment of these strategic goals would be a milestone achievement when progressing from the blueprint development and the road-mapping stage towards socially accepted and sustainable wood-based bioeconomy strategies. For regional industrial and science stakeholders who run pilot facilities for process upscaling and for energy and material flow integration, this requires well-orchestrated integrative processes, which go beyond conventional “Life Cycle Management” approaches. It is obvious that assessing and monitoring such integrative systems will have to account for different stakeholder perspectives and for detailed technology deployment and resource conversion scenarios. Applying a sustainability index methodology in a case study region must include an evaluation of the whole supply chain and the process networks associated with the characteristic products of the evaluated region. To date, no such integrative assessment methods exist in the literature. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to lay out, on the basis of a practical example in the case study region of Central Germany, an assessment of the sustainability level of wood-based bioeconomy networks by applying the Sustainability Monitoring Tool -SUMINISTRO”- to examine regional bio-based industry networks.
