The article discusses the findings on website transparency for 52 Spanish provincial historic archives and the Archivo Real y General de Navarra [royal and general archive of the province of Navarra], delivered by TransPa_BA software. This tool is based on and uses the parameters defined in the Metodología de Evaluación y Seguimiento de la Transparencia [transparency assessment and monitoring method, Spanish initials, MESTA]. A total of 22 indicators are proposed to measure active public disclosure by archives in keeping with the provisions of the national Transparency Act. The indicators and their respective parameters (form, reusability, dating and currency) constitute guidelines to enable archives to enhance transparency and accountability, reporting their activities and performance in key areas to society in general and their stakeholders in particular. Although the findings reveal some good practices, scant transparency-related information is provided. The improvements suggested refer not only to public disclosure, but also to how information is arranged, for neither visibility nor accessibility is optimal. This study will hopefully encourage collective learning, contributing to the gradual inclusion of more transparent information and the exclusion of any redundant elements present on these institutions’ websites.

Considering the problem that the process quality state is difficult to analyze and monitor under manufacturing big data, this paper proposed a data cloud model similarity-based quality fluctuation monitoring method in data-driven production process. Firstly, the randomness of state fluctuation is characterized by entropy and hyperentropy features. Then, the cloud pool drive model between quality fluctuation monitoring parameters is built. On this basis, cloud model similarity degree from the perspective of maximum fluctuation border is defined and calculated to realize the process state analysis and monitoring. Finally, the experiment is conducted to verify the adaptability and performance of the cloud model similarity-based quality control approach, and the results indicate that the proposed approach is a feasible and acceptable method to solve the process fluctuation monitoring and quality stability analysis in the production process.

Abstract  The growth of microenterprises (Mypes) in Tehuacán, is a current concern given the important contribution to the production of the State of Puebla and employment. Such growth can be measured through Corporate Reputation, but for this purpose good practices are required that are the exercise of ethics. Starting from the traditional model of social justice and ethics, the present work seeks to relate this, with the contributions on corporate reputation. The Salt Valley of Añana is located in the Basque Country, about thirty kilometers from its capital, Vitoria-Gasteiz. This is a remarkable example of the interaction of man with the environment in the formation of a unique landscape whose origin dates back to the Neolithic, preserved and kept alive for more than 7,000 years, in a dynamic evolution that has allowed it to adapt to rhythms of production that ensure its sustainability. In the process, the minimum resources have been used with the maximum performance in an absolutely sustainable and ecological way applying an ingenious technology. The result is a humanized landscape of 12 hectares, where four kilometers of wooden canals lead the salt water from the springs to the more than five thousand staggered production platforms built with stone, wood and clay, where the sun, the wind and the “Salineros” (saltmen) work together to obtain one of the best salts in the world: Añana Salt. The Salt Valley is a paradigm of a wise and discreet human intervention on the environment, taking advantage of it to the limit. A wonderful example of popular wisdom that is reflected in a landscape of incredible but simple beauty, an example of sustainability and ecological respect, which has also managed to incorporate the new demands of quality, management and uses of contemporary society. A society that is perfectly intertwined with him, that lives it, exploits it, maintains it and enjoys it, implying itself vigorously in his management and that, proud of him, makes the rest of humanity participate.

The profitability of performance and the reduction of turnover are the main challenges of the big companies of the professional services sector. While it is not always possible to achieve all the goals of the large multinationals in each country, it is necessary to assess their development in order to do so. In this way, the steps are identified, going to the new version of new business models, under an organization perspective that can be accompanied by interesting results with a different structure. However, for the sake of management, in order to ensure the cohesion between the teams, it is necessary to create mechanisms for obtaining high income, in order to support the enterprise architecture and the intended business model, which highlights the use of the concept of gamification as one of these mechanisms. This chapter aims to review the literature on the use of architectures and performance demonstrations. In addition to using the gamification concept, the profitability of capital invested in different business activities and the improvement of employee engagement are used. It is intended to consolidate good practices for the implementation of architectures through business models.

Brain-machine interfaces (BMIs), also called brain-computer interfaces (BCIs), decode neural signals and use them to control some type of external device. Despite many experimental successes and terrific demonstrations in animals and humans, a high-performance, clinically viable device has not yet been developed for widespread usage. There are many factors that impact clinical viability and BMI performance. Arguably, the first of these is the selection of brain signals used to control BMIs. In this review, we summarize the physiological characteristics and performance—including movement-related information, longevity, and stability—of multiple types of input signals that have been used in invasive BMIs to date. These include intracortical spikes as well as field potentials obtained inside the cortex, at the surface of the cortex (electrocorticography), and at the surface of the dura mater (epidural signals). We also discuss the potential for future enhancements in input signal performance, both by improving hardware and by leveraging the knowledge of the physiological characteristics of these signals to improve decoding and stability.
