AbstrakAnsietas merupakan salah satu gangguan mental emosional yang dapat disebabkan karena pengalaman traumatis sepertibencana alam di Kabupaten Klaten. Melalui logoterapi diharapkan dapat membangkitkan optimisme seseorang dalam menghadapimasa depan. Tujuan penelitian adalah menjelaskan pengaruh logoterapi kelompok terhadap ansietas penduduk pascagempa.Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 42 responden kelompok intervensi dan 42 responden kelompok kontrol. Metode penelitian yaituquasi experimental pre-post test with control group dengan teknik simple random sampling. Analisis yang digunakan adalahuji chi squere, dependent, independent sample t-test, regresi linier ganda. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan self evaluasi danobservasi terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna terhadap respon yang ditimbulkan dari ansietas (p= 0,00, α= 0,05). Rekomendasipenelitian diutamakan kepada Puskesmas agar memfasilitasi penerapan logoterapi kelompok dalam mengatasi ansietas.Kata kunci: ansietas, bencana, dampak psikologis, logoterapi kelompokAbstractAnxiety is one of the emotional mental disorders can be caused by traumatic experiences such as natural disasters in Klatenregency. The therapy arrouses their optimism about the future with any obstacles. The research’s goal was to explain the effectof group logotherapy to minimize clients anxiety post disasters. They were 42 respondents as intervention group and theothers control group. The research’s method used quasi experimental pre-post test with control group and sampling wassimple random. Analyze by Chi-square, dependent and independent sample t-test, and double linear regression. The resultsshowed that based on self evaluation and observation there was significance anxiety responses caused by anxiety (p= 0.00,α= 0.05). This research recommended that the public health should facilitate the application of group logotherapy to reduceanxiety.Keywords: anxiety, disaster, group logotherapy, psychological impact

<p>ABSTRAK</p><p><br />Latar Belakang: Edukasi gizi yang tepat dapat merubah remaja putri untuk berperilaku hidup sehat. Inovasi program edukasi yang dapat memotivasi remaja putri dalam mencari dan mengkonsumsi tablet zat besi secara teratur sangat dibutuhkan sehingga dapat menurunkan prevalensi anemia di Indonesia.<br />Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh edukasi melalui buku diary gizi terhadap pengetahuan gizi, minat mencari tablet zat besi dan kepatuhan remaja putri dalam mengkonsumsi tablet zat besi (Fe).<br />Metode: Quasi experimental (Non-Randomized group pre–post test) study dengan 50 subyek penelitian yang terbagi menjadi dua kelompok perlakuan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswi remaja putri di SMA di Kota Pontianak, dengan kriteria umur 14-16 tahun sudah haid dan bersedia menjadi subjek penelitian. Intervensi berlangsung selama dua bulan efektif. Kelompok intervensi diberikan tablet zat besi (Fe) + buku Diary Gizi dan kelompok kontrol tanpa buku Diary Gizi. Tablet zat besi (Fe) yang diberikan mengandung 60 mg Fe elemental dan 20 mg asam folat. Data dianalisis menggunakan software komputer dan disajikan dalam bentuk tekstular dan table, dengan uji statistik Chi square dan t test. <br />Hasil: Hasil penelitian program suplementasi zat besi (Fe) dikalangan remaja putri belum popular. Tingkat pengetahuan siswi yang mendapatkan edukasi gizi dengan Buku Diary lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswi yang mendapatkan edukasi melalui penyuluhan (p&lt;0,05). Siswi dari kelompok buku Diary Gizi lebih patuh dalam mengkonsumsi tablet zat besi (p&lt;0,05). <br />Kesimpulan: Pemberian dan aktivitas dengan catatan harian buku Diary Gizi dapat digunakan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan meningkatkan kepatuhan remaja putri dalam mengkonsumsi tablet zat besi (Fe). Innovation of education programs which can motivate female adolescents in finding and consuming iron tablets regularly is highly necessary, so that it can decrease the prevalence of anemia in Indonesia.<br />Objectives: To find out the effect of Nutrition Diary-Book education on nutritional knowledge, effort to find iron tablets and consuming iron tablets in adolescence.<br />Methods: A quasi experimental study (non-randomized group pre–post test) was conducted with 50 subjects divided into two groups. The age of the subjects were 14-16 years old, already had menstruation and were willing to be research subjects for 2 months. Iron tablets and nutrition diary-books were administered to intervention group and were administered to control group without nutrition diary-books. The results were analyzed using chi square and t-test.<br />Results: The level of knowledge who get education about nutrition by having nutrition diary-books is better compared to female students who get the education through elucidation (p&lt;0.05). The female students from the intervention group were proven to be more obedient in consuming iron tablets (p&lt;0.05).<br />Conclusion: The administration of nutrition diary-book and activity of writing nutrition diary-book can be used to increase knowledge and adherence in consuming iron tablets among adolescent female students.</p><p>KEYWORDS: adherence; adolescent; iron tablet; knowledge; nutrition diary-book</p>

Laparotomy is one of the major surgeries. Laparotomy is an operative technique that can be performed on digestive and urinary sistem disorders that will cause pain. This study aims to determine thes effects of kinesio taping on the level of pains in post laparotomy patients. The methods of this study use a pre-post and control group quasi experimental design research. Consisting of the intervention group and the control group, the number of sample was 24 samples with 12 respondent in the kinesio taping installation intervention group and 12 respondent in the control group giving standar drug, using a simple random sampling technique. Dependent t-test obtained an average difference of 2.08 in the control group while ansaveragesdifferencesof 3.84 insthe intervention group. Independent T test results obtained P value (0.001)<(0.05). The conclusion there was assignificant difference in the level of pain in the kinesio taping intervention group and the control group that did not have kinesio taping. Variable confounding has been performed statistically. The results shows that here is no relationships between age, attitude and belief in the pain of Laparotomy, while age is related to post-Laparotomy pain, kinesio taping can be used as an independent nursing intervention to reduce the intensity of pain in post-Laparotomy patients.

Abstract Background: The aim of the present study was to assess readiness to become or stay physically active according to the Stages of Change Model.Methods: The present quasi-experimental study was conducted on 100 women working in the healthcare centres of Bandar Abbas, Iran. The sampling method is clustering in type. The subjects were assigned into two groups of intervention and control. The collected data were analysed by SPSS-16 software using descriptive and inferential statistics, including independent-sample t-test, paired-sample t-test and Chi-square test.Results: Before the educational intervention, 19 subjects (0.38%) from the intervention group showed to have regular physical activity (4-5 stages). This number changed to 29 (0.58%) and 25 (0.50%) after three months and six months of intervention. A statistically significant difference was found before the intervention and 3 and 6 months afterwards (P˂.001). In the control group, no statistically significant difference was found between the pre-intervention and post-intervention (three months (P=.351) and six months (P=.687).Conclusion: The educational intervention based on the stages of behaviour change model showed to be effective in promoting the physical activity of employed women. These findings may benefit health education researchers and practitioners who tend to develop innovative theory-based interventions and strategies to increase the level of physical activity in women.

Introduction: Stress among teachers has a significant relationship with the psychosomatic and depressive symptoms. Community nurses need to make efforts in preventing the adverse effects of stress on teachers. Progressive muscle relaxation with music and aromatherapy is an alternative intervention which can be practiced to reduce the level of stress among teachers. This study aimed to investigate the effects of progressive muscle relaxation which was combined with music and aromatherapy on decreasing the level of stress in teachers.Methods:This study employed a pre-post test quasi-experimental design with a control group. The samples were 46 teachers recruited by purposive sampling and were assigned to the intervention group (n=23) and the control group (n=23). The intervention of progressive muscle relaxation with music and aromatherapy was given to the intervention group for four sessions in four days; each session lasted for 20 minutes. The data were analyzed using the t-test to know the effects of the intervention on decreasing the stress level.Results:The results showed that the average level of stress of the teachers in the intervention group decreased from 50.65 ± 3.761 to 32.78 ± 8.426 after the intervention. Meanwhile, in the control group, the average stress level slightly decreased from 49.87 ± 3.348 to 49.17 ± 4.868. The result of the t-test obtained a p-value of 0.000 (<0.,05), indicating that there were significant differences in the stress levels between the intervention and the control group.Conclusion:Progressive muscle relaxation with music and aromatherapy could reduce the level of stress in school teachers. Based on the findings, it is recommended that the school teachers perform this relaxation therapy to decrease the stress level. The teachers could practice the therapy by the help of training from the community nurses.

Latar Belakang. Gangguan Akibat Kekurangan Iodium (GAKI) masih terjadi di berbagai negara. Ibu hamil, bayi, dan balita adalah kelompok rentan GAKI. Kebutuhan iodium pada ibu hamil meningkat menjadi 250 µg/hari dari 150 µg/hari untuk pertumbuhan dan perkembangan janin. Asupan iodium harian tersebut harus terpenuhi agar tidak menimbulkan dampak buruk terhadap ibu atau janin diantaranya abortus, lahir mati, gangguan tumbuh kembang anak, dan dampak terburuk adalah lahir kretin. Wanita Usia Subur (WUS) merupakan sasaran potensial pendidikan kesehatan mengenai GAKI karena akan melahirkan generasi baru. Tujuan. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan metode pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan, sikap dan keyakinan WUS mengenai GAKI, efektivitas media intervensi yang digunakan, faktor pendukung, dan penghambat pelaksanaan pendidikan kesehatan. Metode. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif quasi experimental pretest and post test control group design dengan dukungan data kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Wulung Gunung dan Desa Wonolelo, Kecamatan Sawangan, Kabupaten Magelang pada bulan Maret sampai dengan Juni 2018. Kelompok eksperimen diintervensi dengan diskusi menggunakan leaflet sementara kelompok kontrol dengan ceramah menggunakan lembar balik. Sampel dipilih secara simple random sampling. Sebanyak 101 WUS yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi terbagi menjadi dua kelompok, kelompok eskperimen (n=54 orang) dan kelompok kontrol (n=47 orang). Data kuantitatif dianalisis dengan t test berpasangan, uji Wilcoxon, t test tidak berpasangan dan Mann Whitney, sementara data kualitatif dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil. Terdapat perbedaan rerata skor pengetahuan, sikap dan keyakinan yang tidak bermakna setelah intervensi antara kelompok diskusi dengan leaflet dan ceramah dengan lembar balik. Faktor pendukung adalah metode dan media intervensi yang dianggap menarik oleh peserta, sementara faktor penghambat adalah tidak semua peserta aktif dalam proses intervensi dan kondisi lingkungan sekitar yang dapat mengganggu konsentrasi peserta. Kesimpulan. Metode diskusi dengan leaflet dan ceramah dengan lembar balik setara dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap dan keyakinan individu, dan keduanya dapat menjadi alternatif pendidikan kesehatan mengenai GAKI di wilayah perdesaan endemik GAKI.

Keluarga dengan anak retardasi mental di Kabupaten Sumedang sekitar 10.898 orang dari 1.089.889 penduduk di Kabupaten Sumedang, dan yang tercatat di SLB-C se-Kabupaten Sumedang hanya 218 orang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang pengaruh pelaksanaan terapi self-help groupterhadap koping keluarga dengan anak retardasi mental di SLB-C Kabupaten Sumedang tahun 2009 sehingga dapat mengurangi faktor risiko terjadinya gangguan. Metode penelitian menggunakan quasi experimental pre-post test with control groupdengan intervensi self-help group. Cara pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive samplingdengan sampel sebanyak 22 keluarga. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner karekteristik keluarga dan kuesioner koping keluarga. Self-help group dilakukan pada dua kelompok, yaitu: kelompok I diberikan self-help groupdengan enam kali pertemuan (empat kali bimbingan dan dua kali mandiri) dan kelompok II tidak diberikan self-help group.Analisis data menggunakan univariat dengan menganalisis secara deskriptif dengan menghitung distribusi frekuensi dan tendensi sentral. Analisis bivariat menggunakan independent sample t-test, chi-square dan dependent sample t-test. Analisis multivariat menggunakan pearson product moment dan rank spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan koping setelah self-help grouppada keluarga dengan anak retardasi mental secara bermakna dan terjadi perubahan dari koping maladaptive menjadi adaptive(nilai p=0.000). Pada kelompok yang hanya diberikan terapi generalis terjadi juga peningkatan kemampuan koping keluarga dengan anak retardasi mental, tetapi peningkatan tersebut masih berada di koping maladaptive. Direkomendasikan untuk membentuk kelompok self-help grouplainnya di lingkungan SLB-C.Kata kunci: Koping keluarga, retardasi mental, self-help group AbstractFamily with children having mental retardation at Sumedang district are almost 10,898 childrenof 1,089,889 population and they are only 218 children which recorded at SLB-C at Sumedang district. The purpose of this study was to find descriptionof the effect of implementing self-help groups therapy toward coping family and children with mental retardation at SLB-C Sumedang district in 2009 and expected to decrease the risk factor of disturbance may occur. This study used quasi experimental pre-post test with control group by self help group intervention. The methode to pick up samples was purposive sampling, getting samples by 22 families. Data were collected using questionares of family characteristic and family coping. Self-help group has been done for two groups where the first group was given self-help group for six times of meeting (four times for guiding and two times for standing alone), while the second group was given self-help group. Data were analyzed using univariate method by calculating frequency distribution and central tendency. Bivariate analysis used independent sample t-test, chi-square and dependent sample t-test. Multivariate analysis used pearson product moment and rank spearman. Study result indicated improvement the abilities of coping family and children with mental retardation as means (pvalue = 0.000). It is recommended to build and implementing self-help group for family who had children with mental retardation.Key words:Coping family, mental retardation, self-help group

Abstract— Most women of reproductive age have premenstrual symptoms which consist of emotional and physical symptoms. Many factors can affect PMS including physical activity, nutrition such as drinks containing calcium and ginger, massage and other factors. This study aims to determine the effect of a healthy package consisting of (exercise, giving ginger milk and effleurage massage) on premenstrual syndrome. The design of this study was a quasi-experimental pre-post with control group. The research variables were measured in 2 groups, There are the intervention group and the control group.  The number of samples in this study  consisted of 38 girls in the intervention group and 38 girls in the control group with  simple random sampling. The analysis used  univariate (frequency distribution) and bivariate (T Test, Chi-Square). The results showed that there was an influence between the effect of a healthy adolescent package (consisting of exercise, giving ginger milk and eflleurage massage) on premenstrual syndrome.   ABSTRACT Stroke is generally known as an attacking disease, crippling and even able to kill humans. Besides having physical and psychological problems, stroke patients also have psychospiritual problems. The aim of the study was to analyze the effect of Transcultural Theory (ISST) spiritual support implementation on the level of anxiety in Stroke Patients. The design of this study was Quasi-Experimental approach with pre post test control group design, the sample was 36 patients, divided into 2, treatment groups and controls were taken by simple random sampling technique. Data analysis using the t test with 2 free samples with α = 0.05. The results showed that the results of the difference in the anxiety level of the intervention group were ± (SD) = -4.61 ± (1.94) and the control group namely ± (SD) = 0.22 ± (3.38). The results of independent t test, P = 0.007, meaning that there is the effect of transcultural theory (ISST) spiritual support implementation on the level of anxiety. Giving Implementation of spiritual support based on transcultural theory (ISST) can reduce anxiety levels. Nurses can provide spiritual support based on transcultural theory (ISST) in stroke patients as an intervention in spiritual nursing care.

AbstrakGizi buruk balita masih menjadi permasalahan serius di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian menjelaskan pengaruh pemberian dietformula 75 dan 100 terhadap berat badan balita gizi buruk rawat jalan. Desain penelitian quasi experimental pre-post test withcontrol group dengan teknik total sampling, terdiri dari 15 responden kelompok intervensi dan 15 responden kelompokkontrol. Analisis yang digunakan adalah uji chi squere, paired t-test, independent t-test, uji ancova. Uji statistik menunjukkanperbedaan bermakna berat badan balita gizi buruk rawat jalan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan pada kelompok intervensi dankontrol (p= 0,00; α= 0,05). Peningkatan berat badan kelompok intervensi lebih besar daripada kelompok kontrol. Puskesmasdiharapkan menindaklanjuti hasil penelitian sehingga mencapai target berat badan balita gizi buruk rawat jalan sesuai standar.Kata kunci: gizi buruk, rawat jalan, diet formula 75 dan 100AbstractMalnutrition in children is still a serious problem in Indonesia. This study aimed to describe the influence of diet formulas 75and 100 to the body weight of under five years old malnutrition outpatient. Research design was quasi experimental pre-posttest with control group. Total sampling technique was used to involve 15 respondents as intervention group and 15 respondentsas control group. Data was analyzed using chi square, paired t-test, independent t-test, and ancova test. Thet results show thatthere were significant differences in the body weight before and after treatment in the intervention group and control group(p= 0.00; α= 0.05). The improvement of body weight on intervention group is greater than the control group. AbstrakPenelitian kuasi-eksperimen dengan post-test only with control group ini bertujuan mengetahui dampak bladder training menggunakan metode konvensional dan menggunakan modifikasi cara Kozier, dilihat dari pola, keluhan, dan lama waktu berkemih kembali seperti sebelum operasi ortopedi. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode probability sampling dengan cara simple random sampling pasien pascabedah ortopedi yang terpasang kateter urin di sebuah rumah sakit di Jakarta. Uji chi square digunakan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pola berkemih dan keluhan berkemih antara kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol. Independent t test untuk mengetahui perbedaan lama waktu pada kelompok intervensi dan kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan pola berkemih (p = 1,00) dan keluhan berkemih (p =1,00) antara kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol. Namun, ada perbedaan signifikan antara lama waktu untuk berkemih kembali normal pada kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol (p = 0,05) dengan α = 0,05. Institusi pelayanan perlu membuat prosedur tetap untuk tindakan bladder training dan perawat perlu melakukan bladder training dengan modifikasi cara Kozier sebelum kateter urin pasien dilepaskan. AbstractThis quasy-experimental post-test only with control group study was aimed to examine the effect of bladder training using conventional method and modification of Kozier’s method which was viewed from pattern of voiding, complaint of voiding and the time needed to make voiding back to normal. The participants were taken randomly from the patients with urinary catheter that hospitalized in orthopaedic surgery ward in a hospital in Jakarta. Probability sampling with simple random sampling was used in this study. Chi-square test was employed to examine the different between pattern of voiding and complaint of voiding of treatment group and control group. Independent t test was used to examine the different of time needed in order to void back normally between treatment and control group. With alpha 0,01 for pattern of voiding and 1,00 for complaint of voiding, the result showed that there was no difference of voiding pattern and complaint between treatment and control group. However, there was a significant difference of time needed in order to void back normally between treatment group and control group, with α = 0,05. Therefore, health care institution should have a standard procedure of bladder training and nurses should conduct Kozier modified bladder training method before removing the urinary catheter.
