Pengaruh Terapi Self-Help Groupterhadap Koping Keluarga dengan Anak Retardasi Mental

Keluarga dengan anak retardasi mental di Kabupaten Sumedang sekitar 10.898 orang dari 1.089.889 penduduk di Kabupaten Sumedang, dan yang tercatat di SLB-C se-Kabupaten Sumedang hanya 218 orang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang pengaruh pelaksanaan terapi self-help groupterhadap koping keluarga dengan anak retardasi mental di SLB-C Kabupaten Sumedang tahun 2009 sehingga dapat mengurangi faktor risiko terjadinya gangguan. Metode penelitian menggunakan quasi experimental pre-post test with control groupdengan intervensi self-help group. Cara pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive samplingdengan sampel sebanyak 22 keluarga. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner karekteristik keluarga dan kuesioner koping keluarga. Self-help group dilakukan pada dua kelompok, yaitu: kelompok I diberikan self-help groupdengan enam kali pertemuan (empat kali bimbingan dan dua kali mandiri) dan kelompok II tidak diberikan self-help group.Analisis data menggunakan univariat dengan menganalisis secara deskriptif dengan menghitung distribusi frekuensi dan tendensi sentral. Analisis bivariat menggunakan independent sample t-test, chi-square dan dependent sample t-test. Analisis multivariat menggunakan pearson product moment dan rank spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan koping setelah self-help grouppada keluarga dengan anak retardasi mental secara bermakna dan terjadi perubahan dari koping maladaptive menjadi adaptive(nilai p=0.000). Pada kelompok yang hanya diberikan terapi generalis terjadi juga peningkatan kemampuan koping keluarga dengan anak retardasi mental, tetapi peningkatan tersebut masih berada di koping maladaptive. Direkomendasikan untuk membentuk kelompok self-help grouplainnya di lingkungan SLB-C.Kata kunci: Koping keluarga, retardasi mental, self-help group AbstractFamily with children having mental retardation at Sumedang district are almost 10,898 childrenof 1,089,889 population and they are only 218 children which recorded at SLB-C at Sumedang district. The purpose of this study was to find descriptionof the effect of implementing self-help groups therapy toward coping family and children with mental retardation at SLB-C Sumedang district in 2009 and expected to decrease the risk factor of disturbance may occur. This study used quasi experimental pre-post test with control group by self help group intervention. The methode to pick up samples was purposive sampling, getting samples by 22 families. Data were collected using questionares of family characteristic and family coping. Self-help group has been done for two groups where the first group was given self-help group for six times of meeting (four times for guiding and two times for standing alone), while the second group was given self-help group. Data were analyzed using univariate method by calculating frequency distribution and central tendency. Bivariate analysis used independent sample t-test, chi-square and dependent sample t-test. Multivariate analysis used pearson product moment and rank spearman. Study result indicated improvement the abilities of coping family and children with mental retardation as means (pvalue = 0.000). It is recommended to build and implementing self-help group for family who had children with mental retardation.Key words:Coping family, mental retardation, self-help group

Gangguan jiwa dialami 81 jiwa dari 13764 jiwa penduduk di Kelurahan Sindang Barang, Bogor. Pelayanan kesehatan jiwamasyarakat melalui puskesmas belum berjalan optimal dan belum ada kelompok swabantu (self help group). Kelompok swabantumerupakan satu pendekatan untuk mempertemukan kebutuhan keluarga dan sebagai sumber penting untuk keluarga klien dengangangguan jiwa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi pengaruh kelompok swabantu terhadap kemampuan keluarga dalammerawat klien gangguan jiwa. Desain penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan pre-post test without control group inimelibatkan 18 keluarga yang diberikan intervensi berupa kelompok swabantu. Analisis menggunakan t paired, Anova danindependent t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan kognitif dan psikomotor keluarga dalam merawatklien gangguan jiwa secara bermakna. Direkomendasikan membentuk dan melaksanakan kelompok swabantu bagi keluargayang memiliki anggota keluarga dengan gangguan jiwa.

Lansia mengalami perubahan fisik dan psikis. Perubahan tersebut perlu suatu upaya agar lansia mampu mempertahankan kemandiriannya dan meningkatkan kognitifnya sehingga lansia mampu menerima perubahan yang terjadi pada dirinya, sehingga perlunya upaya untuk mempertahankan kemandirian dan meningkatkan kognitif lansia. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh  pemberian pendidikan kesehatan tentang perkembangan psikososial lansia terhadap kemandirian dan kognitif lansia.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain  penelitian  quasi experiment dengan rancangan penelitian pre and post test without control group dengan menggunakan  Purposive  sampling  berjumlah  108  lansia.  Pelitian dilakukan di kota Kendal. Hasil  penelitian    dianalisis univariat berupa distribusi frekuensi serta analisis bivariat menggunakan uji Chisquare. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pemberian pendidikan kesehatan tentang perkembangan psikososial terhadap  kemandirian dan kognitif lansia dengan nilai p=0,000 untuk kemandirian dan nilai p = 0,002 untuk fungsi kognitif..   Kata kunci: perkembangan psikososial lansia, kemandirian, kognitif INCREASING INDEPENDENCE AND COGNITIVES OF ELDERLY THROUGH HEALTH EDUCATION CONCERNING PSYCHOSOCIAL DEVELOPMENT OF ELDERLY   ABSTRACT The elderly undergo physical and psychological changes. These changes need an effort so that the elderly are able to maintain their independence and improve their cognitive so that the elderly are able to accept the changes that occur in him, so the need for efforts to maintain independence and improve cognitive elderly. The study aims to determine the effect of providing health education about the psychosocial development of the elderly on independence and cognitive elderly. This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental research design with a pre-post test design without control group research using purposive sampling totaling 108 elderly. Pelitian conducted in the city of Kendal. The results of the study were analyzed univariate in the form of frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using the Chi-square test. The results showed that there was an effect of providing health education about psychosocial development on independence and cognitive elderly with a value of p = 0,000 for independence and a value of p = 0.002 for cognitive function.   Keywords: psychosocial development of the elderly, independence, cognitive

<p>ABSTRAK</p><p><br />Latar Belakang: Edukasi gizi yang tepat dapat merubah remaja putri untuk berperilaku hidup sehat. Inovasi program edukasi yang dapat memotivasi remaja putri dalam mencari dan mengkonsumsi tablet zat besi secara teratur sangat dibutuhkan sehingga dapat menurunkan prevalensi anemia di Indonesia.<br />Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh edukasi melalui buku diary gizi terhadap pengetahuan gizi, minat mencari tablet zat besi dan kepatuhan remaja putri dalam mengkonsumsi tablet zat besi (Fe).<br />Metode: Quasi experimental (Non-Randomized group pre–post test) study dengan 50 subyek penelitian yang terbagi menjadi dua kelompok perlakuan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswi remaja putri di SMA di Kota Pontianak, dengan kriteria umur 14-16 tahun sudah haid dan bersedia menjadi subjek penelitian. Intervensi berlangsung selama dua bulan efektif. Kelompok intervensi diberikan tablet zat besi (Fe) + buku Diary Gizi dan kelompok kontrol tanpa buku Diary Gizi. Tablet zat besi (Fe) yang diberikan mengandung 60 mg Fe elemental dan 20 mg asam folat. Data dianalisis menggunakan software komputer dan disajikan dalam bentuk tekstular dan table, dengan uji statistik Chi square dan t test. <br />Hasil: Hasil penelitian program suplementasi zat besi (Fe) dikalangan remaja putri belum popular. Tingkat pengetahuan siswi yang mendapatkan edukasi gizi dengan Buku Diary lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswi yang mendapatkan edukasi melalui penyuluhan (p&lt;0,05). Siswi dari kelompok buku Diary Gizi lebih patuh dalam mengkonsumsi tablet zat besi (p&lt;0,05). <br />Kesimpulan: Pemberian dan aktivitas dengan catatan harian buku Diary Gizi dapat digunakan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan meningkatkan kepatuhan remaja putri dalam mengkonsumsi tablet zat besi (Fe). Innovation of education programs which can motivate female adolescents in finding and consuming iron tablets regularly is highly necessary, so that it can decrease the prevalence of anemia in Indonesia.<br />Objectives: To find out the effect of Nutrition Diary-Book education on nutritional knowledge, effort to find iron tablets and consuming iron tablets in adolescence.<br />Methods: A quasi experimental study (non-randomized group pre–post test) was conducted with 50 subjects divided into two groups. The age of the subjects were 14-16 years old, already had menstruation and were willing to be research subjects for 2 months. Iron tablets and nutrition diary-books were administered to intervention group and were administered to control group without nutrition diary-books. The results were analyzed using chi square and t-test.<br />Results: The level of knowledge who get education about nutrition by having nutrition diary-books is better compared to female students who get the education through elucidation (p&lt;0.05). The female students from the intervention group were proven to be more obedient in consuming iron tablets (p&lt;0.05).<br />Conclusion: The administration of nutrition diary-book and activity of writing nutrition diary-book can be used to increase knowledge and adherence in consuming iron tablets among adolescent female students.</p><p>KEYWORDS: adherence; adolescent; iron tablet; knowledge; nutrition diary-book</p>

AbstrakAnsietas merupakan salah satu gangguan mental emosional yang dapat disebabkan karena pengalaman traumatis sepertibencana alam di Kabupaten Klaten. Melalui logoterapi diharapkan dapat membangkitkan optimisme seseorang dalam menghadapimasa depan. Tujuan penelitian adalah menjelaskan pengaruh logoterapi kelompok terhadap ansietas penduduk pascagempa.Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 42 responden kelompok intervensi dan 42 responden kelompok kontrol. Metode penelitian yaituquasi experimental pre-post test with control group dengan teknik simple random sampling. Analisis yang digunakan adalahuji chi squere, dependent, independent sample t-test, regresi linier ganda. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan self evaluasi danobservasi terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna terhadap respon yang ditimbulkan dari ansietas (p= 0,00, α= 0,05). Rekomendasipenelitian diutamakan kepada Puskesmas agar memfasilitasi penerapan logoterapi kelompok dalam mengatasi ansietas.Kata kunci: ansietas, bencana, dampak psikologis, logoterapi kelompokAbstractAnxiety is one of the emotional mental disorders can be caused by traumatic experiences such as natural disasters in Klatenregency. The therapy arrouses their optimism about the future with any obstacles. The research’s goal was to explain the effectof group logotherapy to minimize clients anxiety post disasters. They were 42 respondents as intervention group and theothers control group. The research’s method used quasi experimental pre-post test with control group and sampling wassimple random. Analyze by Chi-square, dependent and independent sample t-test, and double linear regression. The resultsshowed that based on self evaluation and observation there was significance anxiety responses caused by anxiety (p= 0.00,α= 0.05). The objective of this study is to measure whether there is or not significant effect of teaching reading by utilizing Hot Potatoes software toward students’ reading comprehension of descriptive text. The variables used were the teaching treatment of Hot Potatoes Software as the independent variable and the students’ reading comprehension of Descriptive Text as dependent variable. Then, the research designed was Quasi-experimental design and the presentation of data used was quantitative. The data were obtained from the eleventh grade, of which 28 students were taken as sample. The students are divided into two groups; experiment group consisted of 12 students and control group consists of 16 students. To get the data, the pre-test and post-test were applied and then analyzed using t-test formula. The researcher had concluded that there is Significant effect of Hot Potatoes Software toward the students’ reading comprehension achievement. The result showed that mean of students’ post-test was increased. It is proved by the t-test (8.54) which is higher than t-table (2.05) at level of significance 5%. It means that the alternative hypothesis was accepted and it proved that Hot Potatoes Software had significant effect toward students’ reading comprehension of Descriptive Text

This research is entitled “Using graphic organizer strategy in teaching writing on narrative paragraph (experimental research). Writing is a very important subject that should be learned by English learners. The students should be able to express their ideas and opinion either in the form of a sentence or paragraph. However, the researcher found that many students at the Second Grade Students of SMP Negeri 1 Tanah Luas could not express their ideas and develop into the paragraph. Hence, the appropriate strategy of teaching and learning is very important to help students master writing skills. This research aims to know the effect of achievement between the students who are taught writing by using graphic organizers from those taught writing in the narrative by using traditional methods. This research was experimental research and used a quasi-experimental design. The samples chosen in this research were the whole students of class VIII2 and VIII4 of SMPN 1 Tanah Luas. Class VIII2 consisted of 25 students was chosen as experimental group and class VIII4 consisted of 24 students was chosen as control group. This research was conducted in three phrases; there were pre-test, treatments and post-test. The data collection technique used in this research was test. The tests were pre-test and post-test. The researcher gave pre-test before giving treatment and post-test after giving treatment. The treatment was conducted in three meetings. The data was analyzed by using t-test formula. The research result and the hypothesis authentication found by using t-test formula in significant level 5% or α = 0.05 were obtained that ttest > ttable. The ttest found in this research was 3.91. Meanwhile, ttable was gotten from the list of distribution value with degree of freedom = 47, because the data not in the table, the researcher used interpolation approach and obtained = 1.67. So >  = 3.91 > 1.67. It meant that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. So, graphic organizer strategy significantly affects the students’ ability in mastering writing.   Kata Kunci: graphic organizer strategy, teaching and learning, writing narrative paragraph

The aim of this study was to know the effectiveness of the use of alphabet cards game as interesting tool to explain vocabularies and it make it easier to remember their meanings. This study belongs to the quasi experimental research and presents pre-test, post test and to investigate the effect of using alphabet cards game on vocabulary mastery of commercial business administration students. The participants were the students from commercial business administration students at the third semester (N=54) of State Polytechnic Bengkalis and divided into two groups. Both groups were taught vocabulary, however, the experimental group students who are exposed to alphabet cards game and the controlled group students who received conventional method. Pre-test and post-test were given to both experimental group students and controlled group students. The score of the vocabulary tests were compared through independent sample t-test. The mean value of pre-test of experimental class was 61.35, while the control class was 52.23. After learning using alphabet card games in experimental class the mean value obtained in post-test was 78.85, while in control class was 59.04.  The improved of learning outcomes can be seen from the level of significance was 0.000 and it was lower than t test 0.000<0.05.  It means that the hypothesis null is not accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the score of the students in learning vocabulary between the experimental group and control group was significantly different. The experimental group students who learned vocabulary using alphabet cards game had increased their vocabulary mastery.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan three corner drill terhadap kelincahan dan power otot tungkai. Jenis penelitian adalah quasi experimental dengan rancangan the non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan siswa putra peserta ektrakurikuler sepak bola SMPN 2 Pekutatan. Data post-test kelincahan dan power otot tungkai pada kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol dianalisis dengan uji-t independent pada taraf signifikansi (α) 0,05 dengan bantuan program SPSS 16.0. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t independent didapatkan hasil : (1) untuk variabel kelincahan, hasil perbandingan kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol didapatkan nilai thitung = -2,948 , dengan nilai signifikansi 0,009, (2) untuk variabel power, hasil perbandingan kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol didapatkan nilai thitung = 3,176, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,005. Nilai signifikansi hitung lebih kecil dari nilai α (Sig < 0,05), dengan demikian hipotesis penelitian “pelatihan three corner drill berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kelincahan dan power otot tungkai pada siswa putra peserta ektrakurikuler sepak bola SMPN 2 Pekutatan” diterima. Dari hasil analisis data dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa : (1) Pelatihan three corner drill berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kelincahan pada siswa putra peserta ektrakurikuler sepak bola SMP Negeri 2 Pekutatan (2) Pelatihan three corner drill berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan power otot tungkai pada siswa putra peserta ektrakurikuler sepak bola SMP Negeri 2 Pekutatan. Kata Kunci : kelincahan, daya ledak, three corner drill The purpose of this research was to find out the effect of three corner drill training toward the increased agility and power muscle of legs. The type of research was a quasi-experimental and the design of research was the non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects were man’s student football extracurricular participants of SMPN 2 Pekutatan. Agility and muscle power of legs posttest to the treatment group and the control group were analyzed by independent t-test at significance 0,05 with SPSS 16.0. Based on independent t-test results were showed : (1) to the agility variable, the comparison of the treatment and the control group values obtained t = -2,948, with a significance value of 0,009, (2) to muscle power of legs variable, the comparison of the treatment and the control group values obtained t = 3,176, with a significance value of 0,005. Calculated significance value smaller than the value of 0,05 (Sig < 0.05), thus the research hypothesis "three corner drill training affect the increased agility and muscle power of legs in football extracurricular participants of SMPN 2 Pekutatan " was received. From the analyzed and discussion were concluded that : (1) three corner drill training effect the increased agility in football extracurricular participants of SMPN 2 Pekutatan, (2) three corner drill training effect the increased muscle power of legs in football extracurricular participants of SMPN 2 Pekutatan. keyword : Agility, power, three corner drill

This research was quasi-experimental research that aimed to find out the extent of the improvement students' writing ability by using the Four Square Technique on the descriptive text at students X SMAN 3 Takalar. the researcher took 53 samples, 28 students as the experimental group and 25 students as the control group. The research data was obtained by giving a pre-test and post-test and analyzed by using the Dependent Sample T- Test. The result of the data showed that students' writing ability improved. It was proved from score result of tobs (16,673) which was higher than ttable (2.052) and sig. P (0.05) was higher than sig.score (0.000). Students' writing ability improve by 0.1% after using the Four Square Technique from pre-test mean score was 65.07 and the post-test mean score was 75.14. So, it can be concluded that using Four Square Technique can improve students' writing ability in writing a descriptive text at students X SMAN 3 Takalar. By using it, students showed that they can be motivated in writing, students more easily generate and organize their ideas into a text so that students’ writing was more organized also easy to understand.

This study was aimed at determining the differences in the dimensions of cognitive processes between groups of students who are taught with project-based trying learning activities and groups of students who are taught with conventional learning activities. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a post-test only control group design. The population of this study was the fifth-grade students of the 2016/2017 academic year in the Curriculum 2013 Elementary School in Buleleng Regency, which amounted to 326 students. The samples were taken by cluster random sampling which amounted to 60 students. The data collected in this study were the results of the dimensions of cognitive processes by using 20 multiple-choice tests and 5 item essays on the ecosystem theme. The hypothesis was tested using inferential t-test statistics. The results show that there are significant differences in the dimensions of cognitive processes between groups of students who were taught with project-based trying activities and groups of students who were taught using conventional learning activities. The optimizing project-based trying activities has a positive effect on the dimensions of students' cognitive processes.PENGOPTIMALAN AKTIVITAS MENCOBA DENGAN BERBASIS PROYEK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN DIMENSI PROSES KOGNITIF SISWAPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan dimensi proses kognitif antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan aktivitas pembelajaran mencoba berbasis proyek dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan aktivitas pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian post test only control group design. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 di SD rintisan Kurikulum 2013 Kabupaten Buleleng yang berjumlah 326 orang. Sampel diambil dengan cara cluster?random sampling yang berjumlah 60 orang. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil dimensi proses kognitif dengan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 butir dan esai 5 butir soal pada tema ekosistem. Hipotesis diuji dengan menggunakan statistik inferensial t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada dimensi proses kognitif antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan aktivitas pembelajaran mencoba berbasis proyek dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan aktivitas pembelajaran konvensional Pengoptimalan aktivitas mencoba berbasis proyek berpengaruh positif terhadap dimensi proses kognitif siswa.
