This study aims to analyze the aspects of technical, social, and economic typologies of skipjack fisheries at Nizam Zachman oceanic fishing port, Jakarta. This research expected to provide information for decision-making in formulating policies in skipjack fisheries activities, thus they remain sustainable—this research conducted at Nizam Zachman oceanic fishing port, Jakarta from August 2019 to February 2020. The method used in this research is the survey method by interviewing the respondent through questionnaires for 100 respondents. The sampling method was done randomly, and the data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative. The social typology shows the orientation of Nizam Zachman as an industrial ocean fishing port is for commercial purposes. The main productive age level of fishers ranges from 35-39 years (33%) and the last education is a primary school (46%). Regarding the work experience, 38% had been fisher between 16-20 years. The technical typology shows the fishing gear that operated to catch skipjack at Nizam Zachman are purse seine, longline, also carrier vessel. In general, 74% of the size fleets were in 100-200 GT and the length of trips in 1-2 months (48%). The fishing ground area is in 572, 711 and 712 FMA. The economic typology shows skipjack production/trip by purse seine was 54%, longline (1%) and carrier vessel (57%).

The existence of fish aggregating devices (FADs) in a waters is able to establish a new fishing ground that potential waters. FADs are able to attract the attention of the gathering of fishes and other aquayic organisms around it, increasing the density of fish around FADs can increase the chances of successful catching operation, and therefore the FADs has benefited significantly to increase the capture fishery production significantly. The purposes of the research were to evaluate the catching composition of purse seine production  using FADs and non FADs, and to examine the fectiveness of FADs. This research was conducted on February 1 - 28, 2018 located at Pusong Waters, Lhokseumawe City. The survey  method was used in this study. The direct sampling by following the fisherman in fishing activities was performed both the purse seine with FADs and no FADs. Total purse seine catches during the research were 4,320 kg consisting of Long Jawed Mackerel (Rastrelliger sp.) 1,280 kg (29.63%), Decapterus Fish ( Decapterus sp.) 350 kg (8,107%), skipjack tuna (Katsuwonus pelamis) 845 kg (19.56 %), tuna fish (Euthynnus affinis) 720 kg (16.67%), Torpedo scad (Megalaspis cordyla) 300 kg (6.94%), Queenfish 140 kg (3.24%), and starry triggerfish (Abalistes stellaris) 685 kg (15.86%). It was concluded that the purse seine used FADs is more effective  compared to the a purse seine that does not use FADs.Keberadaan rumpon di suatu perairan mampu menarik perhatian berkumpulnya ikan dan organisme lain disekitarnya, sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil tangkapan ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis komposisi hasil tangkapan purse seine yang menggunakan rumpon dan purse seine yang tidak menggunakan rumpon, dan menilai efektivitas rumpon dalam mengumpulkan ikan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada 01 - 28 Februari 2018 bertempat di Perairan Pusong, Kota Lhokseumawe. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei, yaitu dengan mengikuti nelayan dalam kegiatan penangkapan ikan, baik nelayan purse seine yang menggunakan rumpon dan nelayan purse seine yang tidak menggunakan rumpon. Data ikan hasil tangkapan yang diperoleh dihitung jumlah ikan hasil tangkapan dan diidentifikasi spesies ikan dan selanjutnya dibandingkan dengan hasil tangkapan nelayan yang menggunakan rumpon dan ikan hasil tangkapan nelayan yang tidak menggunakan rumpon. Total hasil tangkapan purse seine selama penelitian sebanyak 4.320 kg terdiri dari kembung (Rastrelliger sp.) 1.280 kg (29,63%), layang (Decapterus sp.) 350 kg (8,107%), cakalang (Katsuwonus pelamis) 845 kg (19,56%), tongkol (Euthynnus affinis) 720 kg (16,67 %), tegang ekor/tetengkek (Megalaspis cordyla) 300 kg (6,94 %), talang/daun bamboo (Scomberoides lysan) 140 kg (3,24%), dan ayam-ayam (Abalistes stellaris) 685 kg (15,86 %).  Dari kedua jenis kegiatan penangkapan ikan tersebut, maka purse seine menggunakan rumpon lebih efektif dibandingkan purse seine yang tidak menggunakan rumpon sebagai daerah penangkapan ikan.

The purpose of this research is to know the productivity of the purse seine fishing gear, for skipjack (Katsuwonus pelamis) in the waters of Boalemo Regency. This research uses survey method. The results showed the highest CPUE value of skipjack (Katsuwonus pelamis) in 2012 was 9.83 tons / year and the lowest CPUE value in 2011 was 1.50 tons / year. MSY skipjack (Katsuwonus pelamis) is 3,112.45 ton / year but FMSY is only 705,55 trips. The utilization rate of skipjack (Katsuwonus pelamis) in Boalemo Regency waters is only 0.2636%. This study aims to determine the effect of individual characteristics and motivation on the performance of BUM Desa operational operators in Bantul Regency. This study uses a survey method that is data collected using a questionnaire. Populations in this study were operational operators of BUM Desa in Bantul Regency as many as 82 people, and the selected sample of 54 people. The sampling method uses a convenience sampling method. The collected data is then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis methods. The results showed that the work experience and motivation affect the performance of BUM Desa, while gender, education and age did not affect the performance of BUM Desa. This shows that education and age do not guarantee a person's ability to carry out their duties and obligations. The results of this study are expected to be considered by the Village Government in preparing Human Resources to manage the BUM Desa. If BUM Desa is managed by the right Human Resources, has qualified capabilities and appropriate qualifications, then BUMDes can run according to the plans that have been made.

Purse seine is one of the fishing gear that has been used by PPN Muara Angke fisher to catch pelagis fish. The selectivity of purse seine was still being researched until now . This research was conducted  determine the selectivity of purse seine fishing gear with parameter the length of Euthynnus affinis, weight and numbers catch on purse seine fishing gear landed in PPN Muara Angke. The research used a survey method with quantitative descriptive analysis. The sampling method used in this was purposive sampling and random sampling. The data collected during the research were primary data and secondary data. Primary data included the number and weight of catches, fork length of Euthynnus affinis from five purse seine fishing vessel in PPN Muara Angke. Secondary data included production data of purse seine catches from 2015-2019 and vessel data obtained from Central Port Management Unit Jakarta and PPN Muara Angke. Purposive sampling used for the number of catch, weight of catch, production of purse seine catch from 2015-2019 and purse seine fishing vessels data. Random sampling used for fork length Euthynnus affinis fish, 250 samples were taken randomly on one purse seine fishing vessel. The research results pusre seine fishing gear which was landed at PPN Muara Angke was not selective due to the percentage length of the Euthynnus affinis was worth, proportion of amount and weight less than 60%.

The research objective is to understand comprehensively the effect of power and decision making on teacher’s organizational commitment in BPK PENABUR Primary School in Jakarta. The research methodology is a survey method to form the causal path analysis. Research based on BPK PENABUR’s primary school teacher with total sample 178 teachers. The research on the analysis conclude that (1) power has positive influence on organizational commitment, (2) decision making has positive influence on organizational commitment, and (3) power has positive influence on decision making.

<p><em>The skipjack is one of important fishery commodities in Gulf of Bone waters, exploited by fishermen through the year using kinds of fishing gears such as pole and line, purse seine, traditional seine net, hand line,  and predicted that some of these technologies were not sustainable. The objective of research was to analysis sustanaibility or environmental friendly of fishing technology of skipjack in Gulf of Bone waters, and has been done for six months, from January to June, 2017. Biology data of catch, fishing technic,  and social economic of fishing unit of pole and line, purse seine, traditional seine net and hand line was collected directely by survey method. The sustainability or environmental friendly of fishing technologies be analyzed using 14 biology, technic, economic and social (Arimoto modified by Mallawa). Result that pole and line reach 76.88 % of sustainability value, pole and line operated in FAD 51.50 %, purse seine 51.25 %, purse seine with FAD 48.75 %, traditional seine net 48.13 $ and hand line 68.18 %.  Low sustainability of fishing technologies caused by small size dominantly in catch, percentage of catch suitable length, investment, income,  number of labour dan fuell used, and protected organism in catch. </em><em></em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords:</em></strong><em> Sustainability, fishing technology, Skipjack</em></p><p><em><br /></em></p><p align="center"><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p><p class="Abstrakisi">Ikan cakalang merupakan komoditas perikanan penting di perairan Teluk Bone.  Ikan cakalang merupakan salah satu ikan target yang dieksploitasi nelayan sepanjang tahun menggunakan berbagai jenis teknologi penangkapan ikan seperti huhate (<em>pole and line</em>), pukat cincin (<em>purse seine</em>), payang (<em>traditional seine net</em>), pancing tangan (<em>hand line</em>) dan diduga ada diantara teknologi tersebut tidak berkelanjutan. Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis keberlanjutan/keramahan lingkungan teknologi penangkapan ikan cakalang di perairan Teluk Bone, selama enam bulan (Januari - Juni 2017). Data biologi hasil tangkapan, teknis alat tangkap dan sosial ekonomi usaha penangkapan huhate, pukat cincin, payang, dan pancing tangan dikumpulkan secara langsung menggunakan metode survei. Keberlanjutan/keramahan lingkungan teknologi penangkapan ikan dianalisis menggunakan 14 kriteria sesuai metode Arimoto modifikasi Mallawa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa huhate rumpon mencapai nilai keberlanjutan 57,50 %, huhate tanpa rumpon 76,88 %, pukat cincin 51,25 %, pukat cincin rumpon 48,75 %, payang 48,13 % dan pancing tangan 68,13 %.  Rendahnya tingkat keberlanjutan teknologi penangkapan disebabkan oleh dominannya ikan ukuran kecil dan rendahnya ikan ukuran layak tangkap, nilai investasi, tingkat pendapatan, penggunaan tenaga kerja dan BBM dan tertangkapnya biota laut yang dilindungi.</p><p class="TubuhTulisanAll"><strong>Kata kunci:</strong> Keberlanjutan, teknologi penangkapan, ikan cakalang.</p>

Pukat cincin adalah salah satu alat penangkapan ikan yang dominan digunakan di Pelabuhan Perikanan Pantai (PPP) Tegalsari, Kota Tegal, Jawa Tengah dan belum optimal dalam pengoperasiannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan faktor -faktor produksi, menghitung produktivitas, efisiensi, dan elastisitas faktor produksi kegiatan penangkapan purse seine. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey dengan analisis deskriptif (grafik dan gambar) dan kuantitatif (Cobb-Dougla). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor-faktor produksi yang berpengaruh simultan terhadap produksi hasil tangkapan purse seine adalah ukuran kapal, jumlah BBM, kegiatan penangkapan, dan lama operasi. Rata-rata produktivitas unit penangkapan purse seine tertinggi terjadi pada tahun 2014 sebesar 370.877,22 kg/trip, sedangkan produktivitas unit penangkapan purse seine tahun 2013 dan 2015 berturut-turut sebesar 340.784,86 kg/trip dan 351.956,60 kg/trip. Penggunaan faktor produksi ukuran kapal dan lama operasi sudah tidak efisien yang dapat menurunkan hasil produksi, sedangkan penggunaan jumlah BBM dan kegiatan penangkapan belum efisien yang penambahannya akan menaikkan hasil produksi.Purse seine is one of the dominant fishing gear used in the Beach Fishery Harbor (PPP) Tegalsari, Tegal, Central Java and it has been not optimal in operation. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors of production, calculate productivity, efficiency, and elasticity of production factors of purse seine fishing activities. The method used in this research is survey method with descriptive (graphs and pictures) and quantitative analysis (Cobb-Douglas) . The results showed production factors that influence simultaneously towards the production of purse seine catches are the size of the vessel, the amount of fuel, fishing activities, and long operation. The average productivity of purse seine fishing unit was highest in 2014 amounted to 370,877.22 kg/trip, while the productivity of purse seine fishing unit in 2013 and 2015 respectively amounted to 340,784.86 kg/trip and 351,956.60 kg/trip. The use of production factors and the old ship size are already inefficient that can reduce yield, while the use of the amount of fuel and fishing activities are not efficient yet that the addition will increase production output.

<p>ABSTRACT<br />The Interaction biology of species in the fishing ground caused by displacement energy from one species to another species and create the structure of patterns trophic level. The objectives of this studi are to determine structure of trophic level and composition of dominant spesies in fishing ground by light fishing in waters of the east Southeast Sulawesi. The research method is survey method. Primary data are using simple random sampling of the fish entrails composition of the purse seine and “bagan apung” unit. Analysis of data using analysis trophic level to determine the patterns of trophic level in the fishing ground by using light fishing and descriptive analysis to determine the composition of species based on trophic level. The result showed: (i) The patterns of trophic level in waters of the east Southeast Sulawesi are (I) phytoplankton; (II) zooplankton; (III) shrimp and squid in TL 3,2; (IV) small pelagic fish in TL 3,7; predatory fish in TL 4.2 up; (ii) Composition of dominant spesies in the purse seine is 60% to consumer groups 5 inTL 4,2 up and bagan apung is 66% consumer groups 4 in TL 3,7.</p><p><br />Key words: fishing ground, light fishing, trophic level</p><p>-------</p><p>ABSTRAK</p><p>Interaksi biologi antarspesies di daerah penangkapan ikan disebabkan adanya proses pemangsaan antara satu spesies dengan spesies lainnya yang membentuk struktur dalam tropik level. Tujuan penelitian menentukan pola tropik level dan komposisi spesies dominan yang terbentuk di daerah penangkapan ikan menggunakan light fishing di perairan bagian timur Sulawesi Tenggara. Metode penelitian adalah metode survei dengan obyek penelitian hasil tangkapan ikan unit penangkapan purse seine dan bagan apung. Pengumpulan data primer melalui observasi dengan pengambilan sampel simple random sampling terhadap jenis ikan hasil tangkapan untuk identifikasi komposisi isi perut. Analisis data menggunakan analisis tropik level untuk menentukan pola tropik level dalam proses pemangsaan antara spesies di daerah penangkapan menggunakan light fishing dan analisis deskriptif untuk menentukan komposisi kelompok konsumen berdasarkan tropik level. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (i) Pola tropik level yang terbentuk di perairan bagian timur Sulawesi Tenggara yaitu (I) fitoplankton; (II) zooplankton; (III) udang dan cumi-cumi pada TL 3,2; (IV) ikan pelagis kecil pada TL 3,7; (V) ikan predator pada TL 4,2 atau lebih; (ii) Komposisi spesies pada purse seine 60 % didominasi spesies kelompokkonsumen 5 pada TL 4,2 atau lebih dan bagan apung 66 % didominasi spesies kelompok konsumen pada TL 3,7.</p><p><br />Kata kunci: daerah penangkapan ikan, light fishing, tropik level</p>

This research aims to know the capabilities of the fishing gear and skipjack tuna CPUE levels in the Flores Sea. The research method used direct observation in the field by following the arrest operations and conduct interviews to the fisherman of purse seine semi-active, purse seine active and drift gill net. The analysis used in this research is measuring the fishing gear ability and levels of CPUE skipjack tuna in the Flores Sea. Based on the percentage of capture ability of skipjack tuna obtained that the highest capture capability is on purse sein semi-active fishing gear where to catch the skipjack tuna by 0.36 kg in one minute. Based on the analysis of the CPUE of skipjack tuna in the Flores sea from 2007-2012, skipjack tuna production has an increase the calculation of MSY (Maximum Sustainable Yield) of 2464.8 tons. Meanwhile, in 2012 skipjack tuna production have overfishing from the MSY. The population of skipjack tuna in the Flores sea is likely to have pressured by technical factors of fishing.

<p><em>The fishing vessel is the main vehicle of the fishermen to go to fishing ground and hauling purse seine especially fishing gear. Pinrang Regency ships traditionally built without calculation of naval architecture. Where the purse seine fishing gear in Pinrang Regency has length 330 m nets with a depth of 36 m. The purpose of this research was to examine the main dimension ratio in particular design and static stability of the vessel purse seine in Pinrang Regency. Method of using a case study on two types of vessels have different relative and analyzed by numerical simulation, calculate the ratio of the main dimensions and static stability. The results of this research are the vessels in Pinrang kasko model has the shape of a round bottom and slim body as well as the ratio of the dimensions of the vessels only L/D purse seine LOA 24 m more than the standard reference of vessels (encircling) in Indonesia and on the value of the static stability by the IMO, with a purse seine vessel Pinrang already has a good stability. However, in both types of vessel purse seine size 20 m that has better stability.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><strong><em>Keywords:</em></strong><em> design, fishing vessel, purse seine, stability</em>
