This paper will talk about the psychology of consumption of luxury products and experiences and how individuals get emotionally connected to them. This paper discussed new drivers, forms, and consequences of luxury spending. Also, the belief that the psychology of luxury consumption is driven by a series of conflicts between what luxury is to oneself and the external factors that drive luxury consumption. These tensions influence consumer behavior and the post-purchase feelings of consumption of luxurious products or experiences. Since some individuals regard non-luxury items as inferior merely because they are non-luxury, they also conclude that more expensive goods are of more outstanding quality, without any evidence about their absolute level of quality or longevity. Another angle that we discuss in detail is how self-esteem plays a role in impacting a person's choice of purchases and instilling a sense of belonging. This paper is going to be based on an amalgamation of primary and secondary research and will contribute to self-awareness of people who do and do not indulge in luxury buying and what goes behind the mindset of both categories. This will also help brands decide on their unique selling propositions to appeal to their respective target groups.

Self-confidence is a very important aspect of our lives. Everyone is different from one another, each has a unique character attached to him. From that difference, it can be seen that there are people who are confident, but there are also people who lack confidence. Because with us lacking in confidence, we will miss the opportunities that exist in this life, such as work. Self-confidence also makes a person nervous, anxious, difficult to interact socially and unable to find self-concept. From the above, as if self-confidence is the root of life because it determines the thoughts and activities that we will do everyday. Self-confidence is influenced by internal factors and external factors. External factors are family environment, friend environment and work. A person's confidence and character influences all aspects of a person's life, such as finance, work, social life and others. Internal factors of lack of confidence are self-concept, self-esteem, and life experience. Confidence (confidence) determines how a person will judge and respect him personally. Self-confidence is a belief in the ability of yourself to achieve something and can accept self-deficiencies so that these deficiencies become a strength in us. Whereas according to Hurlocks, Confidence (self-confidence) is an attitude in someone who can / can accept reality, develop self-awareness, think positively, have independence, & have the ability to have everything that is desired. To develop self-confidence, we need to improve self concept, ability and social interaction. AbstrakKepercayaan diri merupakan aspek yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan kita. Setiap orang berbeda satu dan lainnya, masing-masing memiliki karakter yang khas melekat pada dirinya. Dari perbedaan itulah, dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat orang yang percaya diri, namun ada pula orang yang kurang percaya diri. Karena dengan kita kurang percaya diri, kita akan melewatkan kesempatan-kesempatan yang ada dalam kehidupan ini, misalnya pekerjaan. Kepercayaan diri juga membuat seseorang bersikap gugup, cemas, sulit untuk berinteraksi sosial dan tidak dapat untuk menemukan konsep diri. Dari hal di atas, seakan-akan kepercayaan diri merupakan akar dari kehidupan karena hal ini menentukan pikiran dan aktivitas yang akan kita lakukan sehari-hari. Kepercayaan diri diperngaruhi oleh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor eksternal yaitu  lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan teman dan pekerjaan. Kepercayaan diri dan karakter seseorang mempengaruhi segala aspek kehidupan seseorang, misalnya finansial, pekerjaan, kehidupan sosial dan lain-lain. Faktor internal dari kurangnya kepercayaan diri yaitu konsep diri, harga diri, dan pengalaman hidup. Rasa percaya diri(confidence) menentukan bagaimana seseorang akan menilai dan menghargai dirinya pribadi. Kepercayaan diri merupakan keyakinan akan kemampuan diri sendiri untuk mencapai suatu hal dan dapat menerima kekurangan diri sehingga menjadikan kekurangan tersebut menjadi kekuatan dalam diri kita. Sedangkan menurut Hurlocks, Confidence(kepercayaan diri) merupakan sikap pada diri seseorang yang dapat/ bisa menerima kenyataan, mengembangkan kesadaran diri, berpikir positif, memiliki kemandirian,& mempunyai kemampuan untuk memiliki segala sesuatu yang diinginkan.Untuk mengembangkan kepercayaan diri, kita perlu meningkatkan meningkatkan konsep diri, kemampuan dan interaksi sosial.

Abstract The paper examines the theoretical foundation of intolerance and explores potential topics for a curriculum designed to overcome intolerance. Previous research has shown that a negative self-image and low self-esteem seem to foster intolerance. Likewise, individuals with low levels of self-awareness tend to be more willing to express intolerance while paying less attention to the impression their behaviour and communication has among others. Individuals with a negative self-image and low self-esteem often resist change and tend to look for information that confirms and reinforces their existing viewpoints while ignoring information that contradicts their viewpoints. The research of Kruger and Dunning (1999), though, suggests that instruction in metacognition can overcome these negative characteristics. Especially if metacognitive training is coupled with multicultural education, cultural diversity training, and foreign language instruction as other research has revealed.

One alternative to reduce the unemployment rate in Indonesia is to foster entrepreneurship in college students because this is expected to be an educated young entrepreneur who is able to start his own business, and be able to open up jobs for others. The formulation of the problem include: what are internal factors (income, self-esteem, motivation) and whether external factors (family environment, surrounding environment, education, and opportunities) influence the interest in entrepreneurship of STAI Muhammadiyah Tulungagung students ?. This study aims to determine internal factors (income, self-esteem, motivation) and external factors (family environment, surrounding environment, education, and opportunities) affect the entrepreneurial interest of STAI Muhammadiyah Tulungagung students. The approach used is a quantitative approach to the type of associative research. The population and sample in this study were students of STAI Muhammadiyah Tulungagung which consisted of 50 students who had taken Entrepreneurship courses and students who had been entrepreneurs. Sampling using a purposive sampling technique. The data source is primary data. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires. The measurement uses a Likert scale. The next stage, the results of the questionnaire were analyzed with multiple linear regression which serves to prove the research hypothesis. The data that has met the validity test, reliability test, and the classic assumption test are processed to produce a regression equation. Based on the results of the study showed that internal and external factors partially had a positive and significant effect on the entrepreneurial interest of STAI Muhammadiyah Tulungagung students. With an adjusted R2 value of 0.407 so the magnitude of the influence of internal and external factors on entrepreneurial interest is 40.7% while the remaining 59.3% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.Keywords: Factors, Interests, Entrepreneurship, STAI Muhammadiyah Tulungagung

The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between self-awareness and a sense of belonging to teachers' professionalism. The study strategy used is a quantitative correlation involving as many as 32 teachers in research subjects. By purposeful sampling, the subjects were chosen. Self-awareness scale, Sense of Belonging Instrument (SOBI), and scale of professionalism are the tools used. Analysis of data using partial correlation testing. The findings showed that there is a connection between self-awareness and significant professionalism with very strong criteria for correlation. However, with very low criteria for correlation, there is no significant relationship between a sense of belonging and professionalism. Then there is an important connection with low correlation criteria between self-awareness and a sense of belonging with professionalism. Each relationship has a positive direction for the relationship. The relationship between self-awareness, sense of belonging, and professionalism is clarified in this study.

The following investigation was realized with the objective to characterize the personal factors that influence in the development of resilience in 200 children aged between 7 and 12 years in families linked to the program Red UNIDOS in the city of Ibague, for this was applied the inventory of resiliency factors proposed by Salgado (2005), which evaluate the level of self-esteem, empathy, autonomy, humor and creativity. The results show that the sample is in the middle of the factors evaluated (61%) and that 69% did not face adequately the adversity. We conclude that adult significant training children require psycho-afective formation to enable them to generate environments based on the self awareness of their children. Is proposed to design a training program for parents to incorporate into their speeches and actions positive representations on their children, so that achieving self-assertive and enable them to develop the ability to overcome adversity.

The purpose of this study is study the effects of perceived black consumer behavior on emotional labor and self-esteem by hair service workers. 298 hair service workers in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province collect data through a survey. Analysis method uses SPSS 26.0 Program to analyze frequency factor analysis, reliability analysis, Multiple regression analysis was performed. First, Second, black consumer behavior has been shown to have statistically significant static on emotional labor. Second, black consumer behavior has been shown to have statistically significant static effects on self-esteem. Third, emotional labor has a statistically significant adverse effect on self-esteem. This study will help identify the negative phenomena of black service industry and further shape effective measures to cope with black consumer’s efficient response and ultimately provide basic data to beauty service professionals to live a healthy and higher quality live.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah <em>self-esteem</em> dan <em>self-awareness</em> berpengaruh pada pengelolaan uang saku. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan mei sampai bulan juli 2019. Penelitian dilakukan di Universitas Indraprasta PGRI Jakarta yang melibatkan 144 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan angket/kuesioner yang mengukur indikator tiap variabel pada instrument penelitian. Instrument penelitian di uji validitas dan di uji reiabilitas untuk mengetahui ke-valid-an instrumen dan dapat di percaya. Data di analisis menggunakan uji normalitas data, uji homogenitas data, dan uji regresi linear berganda.
