Facing Covid-19, the government responded with a new normal policy. The public must implement the 5M health protocol to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19, such as wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining distance, staying away from crowds, and limiting mobility. Through the policy, a compliance action can be investigated. speaking about gender, gender differences seem to influence the health behavior of men and women. According to White, gender is a description of the behavior patterns of men or women which recognized in social life. This study aimed to determine the correlation between gender and compliance with health protocols in the New Normal Era. The population in this study were all students studying at the top 5 universities in Riau Province using the Propionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. The method used is a quantitative method with data collection techniques using questionnaires and observation. In this study using construct validity (construct validity). Testing the validity of this research instrument was carried out with the help of the SPSS 25 application/software and using the Pearson bivariate technique. The purpose of this study was to explore entrepreneurial orientation as a cognitive construct attributable to individuals and its relationship with innovation and performance from an industry ecosystem perspective. The study adopted a mixed design approach involving exploration of the factors and a diagnosis of their hypothesized relationships. A mixed sampling of members of a leather industry association and the linked industry institutions was carried out with a 76% response rate achieved. Quantitative data was collected from key decision-makers as informants of firms in Kenya’s leather industry using a questionnaire for guided interviews. The Delphi Technique and a pilot study (Cronbach’s Alpha 0.700 – 0.772) were used to establish instrument reliability. Factor analysis was performed on the study variables using Principal Component Analysis before inferential analysis. Entrepreneurial orientation showed validity as a second-order latent construct comprising three cognitive dimensions, namely vision for growth, opportunity recognition and calculated risk-taking. Entrepreneurial orientation and its antecedents were established as determinants of performance of value-system actors in an industry (R2=0.422, F=13.417, p=0.000). It further showed that this relationship is partially mediated by innovation by the firms (Sobel test Z-value = 3.30449610, p=0.00095147). The study recommends extension of this research to other industries.

This work describes the evaluation of the Attitude toward the Subject of Chemistry Inventory (ASCI), as well as two modifications (one for measuring attitude toward math and one for measuring attitude toward biology), for college students at a Hispanic Serving Institution. Instrument reliability was tested via multiple administrations of the instruments, and confirmatory factor analysis supported a two-factor structure similar to an existing model of a revised version of the ASCI for all three instruments. The similar factor structure of the three instruments, coupled with interviews with students, provide validity evidence for the instruments and support an interpretation that one of the subscales aligns with a cognitive aspect of attitude while the other subscale aligns with an affective aspect. The results of these instruments indicate that students have a more positive attitude towards biology than either chemistry or math, and more positive affective attitude than cognitive attitude for all three subjects, although student attitudes show little change with respect to biology, chemistry, or math during a typical semester. However, major perturbations, such as switching to remote instruction mid-semester, can lead to small but significant increases and decreases in attitude.

Work engagement is one of the dimensions that contribute to the development of professional identity. This article aims to describe 1) the level of work involvement of the counselor, and 2) the influence of work experience and educational background on counselors' work engagement. The research method used is comparative. A total of 211 school counselors participated as online-incidental sampling respondents. The research respondent was asked to be involved by sharing the invitation link to several counselor social media groups in Indonesia. The instrument used is a work engagement scale adapted from the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale. The results of the instrument reliability test showed a score of 0.88. The data were analyzed by inferential statistics using a two-way analysis of variance (two-way ANOVA). The conclusions of this study are the average work engagement of 211 respondents in this study is in the high category and there is no effect of work experience and educational background on counselor work engagement. The results of this study serve as preliminary findings of a complete framework for further research on the professional identity of school counselors in Indonesia.

Chronological thinking skills are one of the most critical goals in learning history, distinguishing it from other sciences. This skill is not a natural skill that already exists in students but is a skill that needs to be developed in students, especially in studying history. This study aims to develop an instrument for assessing chronological thinking skills with the Rasch model.  The development model adopted the Gall Borg development model by adjusting to the research objectives and needs. The adaptation of the Borg Gall model resulted in four stages in this study: (1) needs analysis and preliminary investigation, (2) planning and preparation of product development, (3) expert validation, and (4) instrument implementation. This research was conducted in Senior High School (SMA), involving 120 students from three schools. Sampling was carried out employing the proportional sampling technique. The data was collected using validation sheets, tests, and assessment sheets (scoring rubric). Data analysis was then performed with the Quest Program utilizing the Partial Credit Model (PCM). The results showed that the chronological thinking skills assessment instrument with the Rasch model was valid and reliable. The validity value of items that fit the model ranged from 0.77 to 1.30, and the instrument reliability value of 0.76 was in the high category. Therefore, it could be concluded that the assessment instrument developed can measure students' chronological thinking skills.
