The problem of sentence enforcement against minors in the form of compulsory measures of educational influence is actualized. On the one hand, the gaps in the legislative provision on the procedure for the enforcement of compulsory measures of educational influence confirm the absence of a legal culture, which undermines respect for the law, justice and the authorities. On the other hand, a person subjected to compulsory influence has nowhere to seek protection, since observance of his rights and legitimate interests when applying compulsory measures of educational influence cannot be guaranteed even by the prosecutor's supervision. The domestic legislation defines neither the procedure to exercise compulsory measures, nor the subjects, nor their powers.

The aim of the study is not only to show the specificity of cyberbullying and its negative effects, but above all to indicate the possibility of counteracting this phenomenon in terms of prevention and education. Based on the analysis of significant scientific publications in the area of the discussed considerations, it was shown that the phenomenon of cyberbullying differs significantly from traditional violence and has a much wider range and greater impact. Abstract Proper use of the educational potential of sports depends on the entities organizing children’s sports competitions (coaches, parents, referees). Particularly important is their awareness of the purposefulness and legitimacy of actions taken. Numerous studies have been devoted to the role of the coach and parents in providing children and young people with positive sporting experiences. In contrast, the referee has often been overlooked. The behavior of the referees during the match is also important for young players. Assuming that referee-player interactions have a major contribution to educational influence, the purpose of this study was to explore the opinions of soccer referees refereeing matches of children aged 9 to 12 years about their interactions with players in terms of emotional support, game organization, and instructional support. It was also decided to verify whether referees’ self-assessment of their educational function is influenced by experience. The research was conducted among 116 referees licensed by Mazovian Football Association who referee matches of children aged 9–12 years (Orliki and Młodziki categories) in the Masovian Voivodeship in Poland. To assess the referee-players educational interaction, a questionnaire survey was developed. These interactions are present in three domains: emotional support, game organization and instructional support. The results showed significant differences between referees’ self-assessments in the three domains. Referees rated their educational interactions with players higher in the domain of emotional support than the instructional support. Moreover, the results indicated that there was no differences in the referees’ self-assessment between the groups distinguished by more experienced in the domains of emotional support and game organization, while less experienced referees rated the quality of their educational interactions in the instructional support domain higher than those more experienced. The main conclusion of the research is the postulate to introduce pedagogical and psychological issues into the referee training.

The question of grounds to use of coercive measures of educational influence still remains one of the unresolved issues both in the theory of criminal law and at the level of legislation. As a result of the study, the author comes to the conclusion that the most important task of implementing these measures is to eliminate gaps in the socialization of the adolescent’s personality as one of the key determinants of delinquent behavior. At the same time, it should be taken into account that the real corrective effect on the psyche and behavior of a minor criminal can be provided not by all, but only by those measures of influence that are associated with training (education), work, familiarization with culture (social and cultural values), as well as active involvement of the convicted person in other socially useful activities.

The humanization of criminal and penal policy at the present stage is especially clearly manifested in relation to minors, in particular, when they are released from criminal liability through the use of compulsory educational measures. The article examines the history of the formation of the analyzed legal institution, the step-by-step process of its development, draws conclusions about the current state, the number and content of educational measures, provides statistical data on their application, reveals the problems existing in this area. In particular there is an insignificant share of the use of educational measures by the courts, while maintaining a high proportion of juvenile crimes of small and medium gravity. It is stated that the existing judicial practice is due to the presence of gaps in the criminal legal regulation of the use of measures of educational influence, and their implementation is associated with the shortcomings of the legislation that determines the state policy in relation to children and adolescents. On the basis of an analysis of existing problems as well as an assessment of foreign experience in applying similar measures to minors options for their solution are proposed related to the adoption of certain regulatory legal acts or amendments to existing ones that determine the mechanism for implementing measures of educational influence; creation of a state body with appropriate competence; the expansion of the participation of public organizations in the context of the reduction of special educational institutions of a closed type.
