The relevance of the study lies in the analysis of the role of interactive methods, namely, distance learning in teaching surgical disciplines at a medical university in the context of the coronavirus pandemic. We studied the use of distance learning technologies in teaching surgical disciplines in the context of the coronavirus pandemic. The research material was the information platforms Zoom and Microsoft Teams, the work program of the discipline modified for on-line training, educational and methodological recommendations of the department in the study of surgical disciplines on-line, data from a survey of students regarding the perception of new teaching methods and their effectiveness. The research methods were webinars, video conferences, chat and ICQ, forums, etc. Quarantine measures in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic forced educational institutions to switch to distance learning and became a real challenge for the entire Russian education in its organization. Distance learning educational resources have become distance courses, virtual laboratory work, test tasks, educational and methodological materials, web resources, terminological dictionaries. Distance learning has its advantages and its specific flaws. The need to preserve the continuity of learning, ensuring the effectiveness of the assimilation of the curriculum necessitated the rapid restructuring of teaching methods, the introduction of modern innovative information and communication technologies. The purpose of the study: to analyze the use of distance learning technologies in teaching surgical disciplines in the context of the coronavirus pandemic.

Purpose The use of technology in education is still seen as a symbol of modernity in Indonesia. Without adequate technological infrastructural support from institutions, teachers develop ways to incorporate technology into their classrooms. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the affective domain in learning mathematics with technology across genders and across two student groups, where in one group the students shared learning devices, while the other group of students used individual devices. Design/methodology/approach The study adopts both quantitative and qualitative methods and is based on data collected from five secondary schools in Indonesia. Findings The findings reveal attitudinal differences are associated with technology usage in mathematics classrooms. Quantitative measurements across four attitudinal subscales—mathematics motivation, attitudes to the use of technology in mathematics, technological confidence and mathematics confidence—indicate that affordances in technologies influence boys and girls attitudes; while qualitative data share further insights on gender perspectives related to attitudinal differences. In recent decades, modern ballroom dancing as an artistic phenomenon is spreading around the world. During the twentieth century, the society formed a clear idea of ballroom dancing as a folk dance (waltz, tango, etc.) and sports competitions of ten standardized ballroom dances. The role of fine arts in the process of developing pupils’ creative activity remains insufficiently studied. This is especially true for the specifics of developing a values-based attitude towards any kind of creative activity in the representatives of such a complex age group as younger adolescents. The paper aims to develop and experimentally verify the methodology for developing creative activity in younger adolescents using fine arts in the educational process of secondary schools based on theoretical justification of the problem of the individual’s creative activity. This methodology was aimed at implementing a holistic set of creativity exercises, partial searching and artistic creativity tasks and a variable model for organizing the actions in the form of “the projection of desire”. The control and experimental groups involved the same number of younger adolescents, namely, 143 respondents, whose indicators of development levels of creative activity did not differ significantly. Different methods were used to identify the level of creative activity: questionnaires, interviews, conversations, pedagogical observations, partial searching, multi-level artistic creativity tasks and creativity exercises. The level of creative activity in younger adolescents in the experimental group has increased: a prospective level - by 9.1% (from 7% to 16.1%), a differentiated level - by 5.6% (from 51.7% to 57.3%). A situational level has decreased by 14.7% (from 41.3% to 26.6%). All the obtained data differ from the tabular ones for the selected high level of statistical significance (0.01<p<0.05), which indicates the effectiveness of the developed methodology for developing creative activity in younger adolescents using fine arts in the educational process of secondary schools.

This analysis introduces the pedagogy of research and questioning the world within the Math classrooms at secondary schools in Argentina by using Research and Study Paths (RSP). The RSP have been proposed by Chevallard in the Anthropologic Theory of Didactic (ATD) to face the mechanistic model of teaching mathematics in secondary school (Chevallard, 2004). The RSP has been previously conceived as part of this research and could enable to cover the syllabus of the three last years of the secondary level (students aged 14 to 18 years old). The RSP has been carried out in courses intentionally selected by the researcher. Two implementations have been performed once a year during three years; with 163 students participating in the whole research. The results of introducing RSP into the classroom, the characteristics of the Mathematical Organization (MO) and the advantages and disadvantages of teaching mathematics based on the pedagogy of research and questioning the world are described in the present work. Key words: functions, pedagogy of research and questioning the world, polynomial functions of second degree, research and study paths, secondary school.
