This article deals with aerodynamic and structural calculations of several wing designs to compare the influence of the shape on the lift distribution. Various shapes of wings for the required lift and bending moment were optimized to minimize drag and thereby reduce fuel consumption. One example was a wing with a bell-shaped lift distribution, which was proposed by Ludwig Prandtl and has been forgotten over the years. The first part of the paper focuses on minimization of the wing drag coefficient by a low fidelity method and the results are compared with the CFD calculation with good agreement. In the structural part of the analysis, the inner layout of the studied wings was designed. The structural design, containing elementary wing components and optimization loop, was carried out to minimize weight with respect to panel buckling. From these calculations the weights of wings were obtained and compared. In the last part of this study, an analysis of flight performance of an airplane with presented wings was performed for a selected flight mission. Results indicated that, for the free optimized wing, the fuel saving was about six percent.

Keywords: systematization; recodification; legislation; intellectual property; collision;protection of rights; the results of intellectual, creative activity Implementation ofan innovative model in Ukraine is not possible without the creation of a modern systemof regulatory relations in the field of protection of intellectual property that would ensureprotection of human subjects of creative work (authors, artists, and inventors), guaranteeingobservance of their rights, and protection against possible violations. The first steps in improving a legal mechanism for the use of results of intellectualand creative activities are laid in adopted in 2003 by the Civil Code of Ukraine, which notonly greatly expanded the scope of intellectual property rights, but also significantly enrichedits substance. In the Civil Code of Ukraine relations in the field of intellectualproperty were first fixed in a separate structural part (book 4 «Intellectual PropertyRights»), which indicates their importance to private law.Further improvement of the normative array in the field of protection of the results ofcreative activity should provide for the specification of the provisions of the Civil Code ofUkraine at the level of laws and by-laws, aimed at the formation of reliable legal mechanismsfor the implementation and protection of intellectual property rights. However, only now changes have been made to special laws in the field of intellectual property. In2014, Ukraine signed an Association Agreement with the EU. It became necessary tobring the existing regulatory material not only to the Civil Code of Ukraine, but also tocomply with the approaches defined in the provisions of the Association Agreement,Chapter 9 of which contains the requirements and standards for the protection of intellectualproperty rights. The article examines the problems of updating and systematizing the legislation ofUkraine in the field of legal protection of the results of intellectual, creative activity, analyses the collisions and shortcomings of certain norms governing relations in the fieldof intellectual activity. The legal basis for the regulation of the protection of differenttypes of intellectual property objects is investigated, the ways of their improvement aredetailed, the steps taken in this direction in Ukraine are described. Within the frameworkof the research subject, the shortcomings of special legislation, as well as the normsof the Civil Code of Ukraine, contradictions between various legislative acts in the field ofintellectual property are noted and ways of their resolution are proposed.

The article considers the rule of law, the rule of criminal law. When studying the norm of criminal law, I rely on the fact that it is a mandatory rule of conduct for failure to commit a criminal offense under the criminal law of the Special Part of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, organically related orders, compliance with which is ensured by coercive potential criminal law influence. The norm of criminal law consists of: 1) conditions for the implementation of criminal law (hypothesis); 2) criminal law normative – obligatory legal requirement for non-commission of an act provided by the instruction of the Special Part of the Criminal Code (disposition); 3) sanction for non-compliance with these legal requirements. Mandatory requirements (rules) contained in the articles of the General and Special Parts of the Criminal Code and organically supplement (clarify) the content of the relevant structural part of the criminal law or contain procedural issues for its application and implementation. The article analyzes the hypothetical, dispositional and sanctioning dictates of the draft Criminal Code of Ukraine. It is concluded that the draft Criminal Code of Ukraine does not significantly change the approaches to understanding the rules of criminal law as a system of established (sanctioned) by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and legally secured universally binding criminal law norms and organically related commands. project composition, their rights and responsibilities, tasks of the Criminal Code, legal facts, etc.), compliance with which is ensured by the coercive potential of the means of criminal law influence. The considered norm in a broad sense provides for a three-tier structure and is fixed in the criminal law. At the same time, the structural elements of the norm of criminal law in the «broad» sense are placed in the articles of both the General and Special parts of the draft Criminal Code of Ukraine. Further research should focus on understanding the concept and structure of criminal law, as it will help both the legislator and the court. Proper interpretation of the concept and structure of criminal law encourages parliamentarians to more fully and accurately reproduce in the text of the Criminal Code of Ukraine all the necessary elements of criminal law in view of the purpose of its development and adoption, and the judge, investigating judge (court) – to find, compare and understand these elements, to establish their interrelations and the legal will of the legislator fixed in this norm, and also to provide its reliable realization according to a letter of the law. This knowledge allows members of society to navigate the system of criminal law obligations for their implementation.

Abstract Large thin-walled structural parts have been widely used in aircrafts for the purpose of weight reduction. These parts usually contain various thin-walled complex structures with weak local stiffness, which are easy to deform during machining if improper cutting parameters are selected. Thus, local stiffness has to be seriously considered during the machining parameter planning. Existing stiffness calculation methods mainly include mechanics calculation methods, empirical formula methods, finite element methods, and surrogate-based methods. However, due to the structural complexity, these methods are either inaccurate or time consuming. To address this issue, this paper proposes a data-driven method for stiffness prediction of aircraft structural parts. First, machining regions of aircraft structural part finishing are classified into bottom, sidewall, rib and corner to further define the minimum stiffness of machining regions. Then, by representing the part geometry with attribute graph as the input feature, while computing the minimum stiffness using FEM as the output label, stiffness prediction is turned to a graph learning task. Thus, a graph neural network (GNN) is designed and trained to map the attribute graph of a machining region to its minimum stiffness. In the case study, a dataset of aircraft structural parts is used to train four GNN models to predict the minimum stiffness of the defined four types of machining regions. Compared with FEM results, the average percentage errors on the test set are 6.717%, 7.367%, 7.432% and 5.962% respectively. In addition, the data driven model once trained, can greatly reduce the time in predicting the stiffness of a new part compared with FEM, which indicates that the proposed method can meet the engineering requirements in both accuracy and computational efficiency.

The author was a mathematician and an engineer. His view of longevity is similar to his past experience on designing and building a structure or a machine which he calls an “object”. The expected lifespan of an object is similar to the longevity of a human being based on the following three factors: (1) The availability of good and strong building materials that are similar to the genetic factors of a human body health conditions. (2) The engineering design and site construction of this object are similar to the lifestyle, life-long habits, and environmental factors which are related to the health of the human body. (3) The building’s damaged cracks or the machine’s malfunctioned parts under external forces are similar to the medical conditions and symptoms of disease in the human body. If the object suffers from operational problems due to external forces that is similar to the human body being affected by various diseases, then we can repair the object such as adopting the reinforcement of the building structural part or replacing the operational part of the machine. They are similar to the medical treatments including medication interventions, different surgeries, or organ transplants. Once the author understood the analogy and similarity between an engineering object and a human body, he can then distinguish the differences among genetic reason, lifestyle maintenance, disease control, and medical treatments. It is extremely difficult, almost impossible at present time, to change our genes because we cannot select our biological parents; however, we can focus on our daily lifestyle management to either prevent from having diseases or controlling the progression of existing diseases.

The article under studies relies on the understanding that the future of any state, society and mankind on the whole largely depends on the moral virtues of each individual. However, today's moral, spiritual and cultural basics are seriously challenged, annihilated and neglected. Resting on a comparative-legal analysis of the current criminal legislation of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, the article deals with the peculiarities of the criminal and legal protection of morality, identifies in the above legislations certain common and distinctive features in the context of existence and construction of legal norms, investigates their structural elements and, eventually, determines types of punishment. It has been substantiated that Ukrainian criminal legislation is rather progressive in terms of the criminal and legal protection of morality. It might be explained by the fact that respective criminal and legal prohibitions not only have been reflected in a special section of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, but are also described there in detail. In addition, these prohibitions are marked with partial, but at the same time significant and expedient changes and supplements that completely comply with the present-day challenges (for instance, in terms of liability for cruel treatment of animals, vandalizing a grave or other burial place or the body of the deceased, etc.). Particular emphasis has been laid on the fact that due to the recent changes in the Criminal Code, which came into force in March, 2021, especially striking are the elements of such crimes as access to child pornography, its acquisition, storage, import, transportation or other movement, production, sale and dissemination (Art. 301-1), and carrying out of entertaining action of sexual character with participation of the minor (Art. 301-2). On the other hand, the criminal legislation of Moldova does not contain a separate structural part, which would systematize all socially hazardous actions regarding morality. Instead, certain articles on the protection of social morality are enshrined in different chapters of a Special Part of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Moldova. It is also important that the article under discussion draws a conclusion that the protection of social morality in the criminal legislation of Moldova comprises both traditional for most states norms (for example, liability for pimping, illegal acts on pornographic objects, vandalizing a grave, etc.) and not quite common ones (liability for incest, obtaining child prostitution services; cruel treatment of animals by a person responsible for the care, protection and welfare of animals, for training or veterinary care; vandalism; debauched actions in the form of exhibitionism, compelling to participate in making pornographic performances, etc.).

Abstract. The radical changes that took place at the end of the last century contributed to the emergence of a creative economy. Unlike previous economies, in which the main factors of production were production capacity, land and labor, the basis for the development of the creative economy was the creative potential of man. The current economic situation in Ukraine faces many challenges that need to be confronted with viable solutions. The occupation of Crimea cost Ukraine 3.6% of GDP, and the occupied territories of Donbass cost another 15% of GDP and 25% of all Ukrainian industry. In addition, many industries and factories in Ukraine are physically and morally obsolete and require large capital investments. These problems, which, as the experience of Ukraine shows, are not solved by traditional tools, force us to look for non-standard ways to solve them. Such approaches are offered by the creative economy. To assess the opportunities provided to Ukraine by the development of the national creative economy, the article considers the positive effects of the creative economy as evidenced by the successful experience of other countries. Such effects are the formation of creative human capital, increasing incomes, increasing tolerance, the revival of depressed regions. However, the realization of these positive effects is possible provided that there are components of the creative economy in Ukraine. Research by Ukrainian scientists proves that in Ukraine there are the main features of the creative economy, namely: creative industries; creative class as a basis of the creative lever of development of creative economy; young, creative, ambitious entrepreneurs — startups. A key factor in the development of the creative economy is creative human capital, an essential component of which are entrepreneurs — innovators who establish startups to implement their ideas. Analyzing the various definitions of the category «startup», the authors concluded that the most acceptable is one that reflects the fundamental difference between startups and other businesses, namely: a startup is a business structure based on revolutionary innovations, the purpose of which is to solve a specific problem presentation of a new product or service in conditions of extreme uncertainty. Taking into account the innovative nature of startups, their impact on the creation and development of creative industries and the creative economy in general allowed the authors to conclude that startups are a strategically important component of the development of the creative economy. Research has shown that the Ukrainian startup ecosystem has good potential for development. However, the Government of Ukraine is not yet paying due attention to the development of the ecosystem for the successful creation and operation of domestic startups. Only in the last few years has Ukraine begun to support innovative products at the state level. Examples of such support are the creation of the Invention Support Fund of the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ukrainian Startup Fund. In addition, according to the strategy for the development of innovation for the period up to 2030, startups are a structural part of the national innovation ecosystem. However, intensive long-term work is needed to create an effective startup support ecosystem. Even with large investments and the desire to replicate the successful ecosystems of Silicon Valley or New York, it is very difficult, because their infrastructure was formed over 30 years. According to one of the modern trends, botanical gardens located within the city limits should be their structural part not only in the territorial, but also in the functional aspect. Therefore, the purpose of the work is a scientifically based selection of representatives of the genus Hosta L. from the collection of the laboratory of ornamental plants of the Main Botanical Garden of the Russian Academy of Sciences (MBG RAS) — cultivars that are promising for use in urban landscape compositions and the development of various variants of flower compositions. The object of research is a sample of representatives of the genus Hosta from the collection of the laboratory of ornamental plants of the MBG RAS, containing 23 names. The composition of the sample population is formed on the basis of taking into account four criteria: 1) stability in culture; 2) belonging of varieties to different garden groups; 3) sufficient prevalence of the variety; 4) high coefficient of vegetative reproduction. Statistical processing of experimental data was carried out in accordance with classical methods using the program «STATISTICA Base». The development of models of flower beds is based on the methods and techniques generally accepted in the design of landscape compositions using the AutoCAD program. In the course of the conducted research, the selection of promising representatives of the genus Hosta for urban gardening was carried out and eight variants of flower compositions were proposed (rockery, 2 groups and 5 mixborders). It was found that in all the representatives of the genus Hosta recommended for use, the influence of genetic features dominates in the structure of variability of the studied quantitative characteristics, which provides a high probability of preserving the planned structure of flower compositions during the operation of the landscape architecture object.
