Background. Because of its diverse range of use in several ethics of diagnosis and care of multiple diseases, nanotechnology has seen remarkable growth and has become a key component of medical sciences. In recent years, there has been rapid advancement in medicine and biomaterials. Nanomedicine aids in illness prevention, diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment. Aim. The purpose of this work is to evaluate the antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and cytotoxic capabilities of green produced silver nanoparticle with the addition of curcumin-assisted chitosan nanocomposite (SCCN) against wound pathogenic as reducing agents. Materials and Methods. The plant extract of Pongamia pinnata, silver nanoparticles, and its based curcumin nanoformulations was studied in this study utilizing UV visible spectrophotometer, selected area electron diffraction (SAED), and TEM. Anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and cytotoxic tests were performed on silver nanoparticles with the addition of curcumin-assisted chitosan nanocomposite (SCCN). Furthermore, these produced nanocomposites were coated on clinical silk and tested for antibacterial activity. Results. The produced silver nanoparticle with the addition of curcumin-assisted chitosan nanocomposite (SCCN) has significant antibacterial activities against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and staphylococcus aureus. They are as well as possess anti-inflammatory activity and furthermore prove to be biocompatible. Conclusion. This advancement in the field of biomaterials, which means nanocomposite, not only helps to reduce the harmful effects of pathogenic organisms while representing an environmentally benign material but it also shows to be a material with zero danger to humans and the environment.

Abstract: India is a lower-middle-income country with improved industrial output and expansion of innovative technologies (information, biopharmaceutical) with some notable health benefits in controlling very few infectious diseases due to an inadequate health system. It mainly focuses on providing medical care for urban population and lacks a common health framework that plays a critical role in illness prevention. However, these diseases are caused not only by a lack of sanitation and population density but also by environmental and behavioural changes. This study reviewed the literature on infectious diseases that cause deaths in India, such as tuberculosis, lower respiratory infections, and Transfusion Transmitted Infections (TTIs), diagnostic procedures for treatment and disease burden. Workplace health promotion initiatives that aim to improve employees' health and fitness have steadily increased throughout time. Previous studies have looked at the effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and barriers to participating in workplace health promotion. The number of studies supporting the effectiveness of workplace health promotion in improving employees' health and well-being through changing their health behaviors is rising. This paper focuses on the importance of workplace health promotion in assuring employees' general well-being and the relevance of these perspectives in dealing with workplace illness prevention.

In industrialized nations, occupational health and safety (OHS) has been a growing concern in many businesses for at least two decades. Legislation, regulation, and standards have been developed in order to provide organizations with a framework for practicing accident and illness prevention and placing worker well-being at the center of production system design. However, the occurrence of several accidents continues to show that OHS performance evaluation is subject to interpretation. In this review of the literature, we outline the scope of current research on OHS status and performance evaluation and comment on the suitability of the instruments being proposed for field use. This study is based on a keyword-based bibliographical search in the largest scientific databases and OHS-related websites, which allowed us to identify 15 OHS performance evaluation tools. Our principal conclusion is that researchers in the field have shown little interest in generalizing the instruments of OHS performance evaluation and that none of the 15 tools examined is properly applicable to any real organization outside of the sector of activity, economic scale, and jurisdiction for which it was designed.

Living with a chronic gastrointestinal (GI) disorder, such as inflammatory bowel disease, can be a very challenging for patients. A range of skills can be required to deal with some of the issues and uncertainties associated with living with a GI disease, including the ability to identify and find appropriate healthcare services for worsening symptoms; communicate concerns to health professionals; understand information pertaining to illness prevention and self-management; weigh up the potential risks and benefits of adherence to complex medication regimes; and comprehend the written instructions on prescribed medication. All of these activities represent important features of the concept of health literacy, involving the ability to read textual information, understand material in forms and documents, deal with issues of numeracy, engage in verbal communication and navigate healthcare services. Although the full impact of health literacy in chronic GI disease remains unknown, lower levels of health literacy have been identified as a potentially modifiable risk factor, related to communication barriers and poorer health-related outcomes in other chronic illnesses. In this clinical review, issues associated with health literacy in chronic GI disease are explored, highlighting the impact of low health literacy in gastroenterology; identifying potential factors of living with low levels of health literacy; and introducing approaches to measurement of health literacy and interventions that can be used by nurses to help improve health literacy in patients. Focus is placed on health literacy related to reading and comprehension of vital GI health-related materials.

Bacterial nanoparticles can transport proteins, medicines, enzymes, and genes for the detection and treatment of several diseases, including gastrointestinal illnesses, diabetes, cancer, and infections. The key problem of bacteria-derived nanoparticles is the dose-limiting toxicity of bacterial cells. This intrinsic bacterial toxicity hampers further therapeutic use of these nanoparticles, since they contain persistent toxicity even when toxin-encoding is removed. A multi-particle membrane vesicle-based vaccine produced from a Neisseria meningitidis virulent strain was approved for clinical use under the brand name Bexsero. The adaptability of nanoparticles based on bacteria and the utilization of synthetic biotechnologies allows for further research and potential therapeutic uses. Using sophisticated and specialized features of engineering materials can overcome the problems facing bacteria-based medication delivery systems. The creation of genetically and chemically altered gut microorganisms is a potential approach to illness prevention and therapy. While the various preparation processes and arduous separation procedures needed make them unsuitable for large-scale production, they should still be devised.

In the construction industry a large amount of work is completed outdoors where the sun may expose or heat up rooms that can affect employees while working. This research will recognize how companies combat with heat illness and heat prevention methods to keep employees healthy and safe while working in high temperatures. Each year in the United States thousands of employees fall ill to heat related illnesses, stem from heat rash to heat stroke, which can be fatal, if not treated properly. Research will examine what standards are required by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and how many participants companies currently abide by those standards. Every day that employees who work outdoors or in high temperature facilities go without proper training and education about heat stress, the number of cases will rise and more will become ill to heat related complications. This study will give prevention methods to help keep American workers safe.
