A significant number of scientific economic theories have been identified, which substantiate the essential characteristics of the technological competitiveness of the national economy. The difference between each of the theories is due to the evolution of economic development, conditions and factors of formation, as well as directions and means (tools) to ensure the technological competitiveness of the national economy. The conditions and factors of formation of technological competitiveness of the national economy according to economic theories of competition – blue ocean, global advance of competitors, competitive advantages, cyclical development of economy, neoliberalism, structuring are allocated. In each of the theories of competition as their historical evolution, the technological competitiveness of the economy was considered in the context of access and ability to effectively use technological resources, the formation of the market of innovation and technology, implementation of state policy to stimulate innovation. Taking into account theories of competition allows to clarify the important characteristics of technological competitiveness of the national economy, which relate to determining the influence of society, state, market environment, globalization and informatization on the creation and implementation of technologies in economic processes, economic competitiveness. Analysis of the evolution of scientific views shows the high intensity of changes in the field of competition and provides a wide range of conditions and factors for the formation of technological competitiveness, the development of economic agents. Accordingly, the lack of opportunities for technological and innovative development of national producers should be regarded as the main threat to the competitiveness of the economy. These are market, infrastructural, technological, innovative, intellectual, resource and other trends, in the context of which it becomes possible to effectively use competitive opportunities.

Topicality/Problem. Idea management systems (IMS) are manageable, systematic tools, tool kits or complex systems that helps to generate and evaluate ideas and are an important element of organizational development. Many well-known organizations (e.g. Volkswagen, Microsoft, GE Healthcare, Procter and Gamble, Boeing, Siemens, etc) are successfully applying web-based IMS. But there is no research that explores the impact of web-based IMS on intellectual resources development. Research aim – to research the impact of IMS on intellectual resources development and to provide recommendations to practitioners for its broader assistance in enterprises to ensure innovation acceleration. Methodological approach. The empirical research was based on 447 enterprise survey applying. The research results show the following results: IMS application has resulted in a new intellectual resource, in a patents and improved innovation acceleration.Research limitations. Survey research may limit the generalisability of the result, because the survey target group is commercially available web-based IMS applied enterprises.Originality/value.  The research based on the empirical data analysis contributes to understanding the directions and significance of IMS impact on intellectual resources development.

This chapter asks why faculty at Catholic universities hardly ever find in Jesus an intellectual resource for their academic work. It explores how within Catholicism the theological reality of Jesus and his life, death, and resurrection have consequences for all the academic disciplines. It revisits the tension of Jerusalem (faith) and Athens (reason) and argues that that tension is creative but should never be dichotomized. It also traces the development of Christian humanism, the power and current shape of secularizing forces, the challenges presented by scientism and postmodernism, and the resources within the Catholic intellectual tradition to respond to those challenges: faith and reason, community, and a sacramental sense.

The research is basically aimed at studying the students’ conceptual structure and basic beliefs being formed and correlated as well as at their classifying in accordance with the level of integration and coherence. The students’ conceptual structures and basic beliefs are analyzed in the article; special attention is paid to semantic, categoric and conceptual abilities coherence (homogeneity) and formedness. If speaking about methodology of the research, it includes theoretical and empirical methods. Theoretical, cluster and factor analyses as well as the Kruskal-Wallis rank sum test allowed us to define 5 clusters (groups) with low, medium-low, mean (average), high and extraordinary indices of the students’ conceptual structure and basic beliefs formedness. These clusters significantly differ at levels from p≤0.01 to p≤0.05. The students’ conceptual structure and basic beliefs correlations form the level systems classification characterized by different coherence of these levels. It is sufficient to conclude that different basic beliefs are the core of the students’ subjective inner world and are correlated with these beliefs conceptual structures specificity. The attained results prove the phenomenon of the intellectual resource “splitting”: the intellectual resource can split into productive and non-productive components in case of high-level intelligence, i.e. if the intelligence level is too high the intellectual resource and its basic components can be insufficiently formed and/or poorly developed.

Financial Systems and Financial Engineering plays an important role in modern Systems Theory. In Systems Theory, the planning and informatization issues concerning project management processes in high-tech enterprises have been considered. The network model role in organizing the intellectual resource management of an innovative project was investigated. A set of heuristic preference rules for organizing project management under conditions of limited intellectual resources available for the project was developed. An algorithm for constructing an implementation schedule for an innovation project as well as for estimating the dynamics of resource consumption and loss depending on the presence or absence of constraints on the project intellectual resource value was proposed. A description is given for a software product created by the authors, providing support for decisions made by the high-tech enterprise management at the stage of project operational and calendar planning of its intellectual resources.

The paradigm formation of Alexander Archipenko’s art (1887–1964) in the context of the European avant-garde was analyzed in the article. The study examined the historiography of the 20th century artistic movement from Cubism, Futurism to Expressionism. The author analyzed the sculptor’s conceptual connection with innovations of the period and underlined the main philo-sophical principles of the epoch, and their impact on the formation of the artist’s figurative plastic concepts. The focus was made on the accumulation of the universal cultural experience of the European avant-garde in the process of Alexander Archipenko’s personality formation. The social and cultural factors of the sculptor’s personality formation were traced. The sculptor’s phenomenon is inseparable from the conglomeration of the European avant-garde thoughts. The sublimity of the intellectual resource development of the period was the driving force in the formation of Alexander Archipenko’s innovation. The author of the present study analyzed the main cultural and artistic groups of the epoch, and revealed Archipenko’s direct participation in them. Archipenko, the inventor of the experimental space, showed the way to sculptors of the 20th century. The sculptor’s philosophic line was projected into multicultural and anthropological dimension. The consolidation of general experience of the existence is embodied in the sculptor’s seeking strategies. Archipenko’s methodology development passed through the multicultural synthesis of the world’s ancient experience. There was a certain inspiration by mythological, ritual and historical prototypes as well. The artist’s semantic field had the only basis where new variations of the form and content arose from. The synthesis of artistic, aesthetic and philosophical principles of European avant-garde in Alexander Archipenko’s art contributed to the formation of the ethno-national basis of his art.

The research has established the main features of the current state and prospects for the development of intellectual resources (capital), which can lead to the formation of a new level of qualitative and quantitative indicators of traditional and non-traditional architectural systems. The article presents the conceptual apparatus of the phenomenon of Renaissance of intellectual capital as a modern form of development of intangible assets and a way to implement innovative technologies (from various fields of knowledge) in the process of architectural creativity. The features of the state and development of intellectual capital for solving architectural problems and construction practices of past historical epochs are considered. An algorithm for solving non-standard problems of architectural creativity (non-traditional, problematic situations) with the involvement of an intellectual resource has been developed. It is established that the intellectual resource is the basis of research and practical innovation, which is carried out in the specific context of the formation of non-traditional architectural systems, methods and methods to ensure the level of their manufacturability (design, manufacture, transportation, construction, operation). The availability of intellectual resources is a key factor in providing the necessary competitive advantages over traditional architectural systems and ways to organize them into architectural objects.
