Review of Methods to Reduce Energy Consumption in A Smart City Based On IoT and 5G Technology

The evolution of the technology 5G has influenced the Internet of the Things (IoT) according to the wireless communications of minor latency, and major speed compared to the existing technologies. Consequently, from the 21st century, 5G will act as the spinal column of the IoT and will level the way for the design and deployment of a Smart City, nevertheless, this progress has a negative point which is demonstrated in the energy consumption. The target of this investigation is to announce methods to reduce the consumption of energy in one Smart City based on the IoT and the technology 5G. The results obtained in this investigation allow determining that 5G and the IoT will have a major energy consumption with about 80 % of the entire potency, due to the transmission and reception of a big quantity of information in a Smart City. Likewise, this research, contributes to the knowledge, presenting a review of methods that allow minimizing energy consumption and projects that improve energy efficiency.

Internalization Of Humanistic Values For Early Ages Children In Facing Pandemic COVID-19

This research discusses the internalization of human values in children facing the COVID-19 pandemic in Padangsidimpuan. It was found that there were actions that were inappropriate for mothers, teachers and the community. Mothers understand the COVID-19 pandemic from a negative point of view. Mother forbids the children to see each other. The teacher advised the children not to leave the house. People advise children not to play outside of parental guidance. These are all inappropriate actions in understanding social distancing and staying at home as one of the government's appeals. However, it can follow play, study, and gather protocols. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on how the actions of mothers, teachers and society in children face the COVID-19 pandemic? How to internalize human values against the COVID-19 pandemic in Padangsidimpuan City? The results of the study found that mothers, teachers, and the community provided a more appropriate understanding of children and instilled the importance of being grateful to Allah SWT, feeling empathy for children whose parents were indicated to have COVID-19 and internalizing egalitarian, humanitarian attitudes, namely respect, care, share, strengthen hearts, and put forward identity so that life becomes useful.

“Not the Tracksuit, Please, It Sends the Wrong Message”: The Role of Body Image in Shaping Subjectivity in the Working

The subject of the article is the importance of classed representations in shaping the attitude towards the body and constructing their own subjectivity by people from the working class. The text is based on a qualitative analysis of individual in-depth interviews with working-class women and men, as well as reality shows with the participation of the working class: Project Lady and Warsaw Shore. Contrary to previous studies (Skeggs 1997), in the light of the conducted analyzes, class representations are a negative point of reference not only for women, but also for the majority of adult men from the working class. The study shows that while it is difficult to reconstruct the representation of an attractive body that would be the object of desire and aspiration of the studied group (middle-class patterns of caring for the body are not accepted uncritically), the key in the construction of subjectivity is is striving to distinguish oneselves from the representation of the working class functioning in popular culture (the figure of chavs) and from people who are at the bottom of the social structure (homeless and bums).

Compact power dividers

This article describes a range of compact power dividers - quarter-wave directional couplers, ring divider and Wilkinson coupler. Power dividers in their standard design can take up a significant area at low frequencies. This can adversely affect their use in some applications. Therefore, to eliminate this drawback, instead of the usual sections, we used artificial transmission lines, which consist of inductance and capacitance in a microstrip design. Using this approach, constructions of compact divisors were obtained. So the directional coupler on such lines has an area of 78.8% less than that of a conventional design, a ring divider by 80.3% and a Wilkinson coupler by 67.7%. For all compact designs, a negative point should be noted - this is a narrowing of the frequency band.

LEGAL, SOCIAL AND HISTORICAL ASPECTS OF LEGALIZATION OF SEXUAL SERVICES

The main legal ways to the socio-political regulation of sexual services (prostitution) in different countries are considered. The main problems facing the society of each state in the field of regulation of prostitutes activity, their so-called �curatores� and clients. The participation of the state in identifying and solving the problems of the sex industry are defined. It is determined that an important role in the legalization of prostitution is played not only by the legal but also by the moral and ethical aspects, which have a lot of limits in every society. Four models of prostitution regulation that exist in different countries of the world are analyzed. It is substantiated that not every model in itself is effective and is optimal for implementation. It depends of the legal system, level of consolidation of society and position of the government on this issue. Criminal liability for pimping, which exists in Ukraine, is only a small positive step in the fight against illegal profits related to the exploitation (voluntary or forced) of another person's body. The negative point in this area is the lack of social, medical and legal protection of prostitutes, as their clients are also at risk. So, the legalization on of the sexual services is necessary for our state, but it must be preceded by a series of successive authority�s steps: public dialogue on different public platforms, changes in legislation and government administrative decisions.

The development of women’s education in Governor-Generalship of the Steppes and Turkestan in the late 19th and early 20th centuries

The paper analyzes the problem of womens education development in Governor-Generalship of the Steppes and Turkestan in the 1880s-early 20th century in the context of socio-economic development of the territories. Initially, education for girls was not necessary. It was viewed from a negative point of view. But with the modernization of the territory, there was a need for education, including for girls. There were significant changes in the system of womens education during the period under review. The number of girls studying was growing, and additional institutions were being opened for their education due to the demand and needs for qualified personnel. In addition, the demand for education among the indigenous population was significantly increasing. This shows an increase in the level of development of society as a whole, as well as the inclusion of the outlying territories in the socio-economic and cultural relationships of the Russian Empire. The education of women among the aboriginal population changed from complete denial, because they had a traditional way of life to the recognition of its necessity and the development of a network of womens educational institutions for all classes.

LOKA LOAK KEBAYORAN LAMA

The existence of transit hubs is a prominent feature of urban life that hold human movement and interaction, which raises the growth of new places for communities, and a third place that was formed naturally. Kebayoran Lama Utara, which located close to a train station, is not spared by this phenomenon. The place becomes unique by flea markets that sprawls among the hub, forming an image for the site, which unfortunately placed where it should not be. It becomes an irony, where a distinctive feature of a place is so potential to be developed, but also becomes the ‘parasite’ of the area itself. Especially with the fact that the site is located in the negative point of the city, but with a lot of human activities. Loka Loak Kebayoran Lama, with urban retrofitting method, aims to develop the area, both within the site, as well as the surrounding and the communities in one system, to fulfill the functions both socially and economically, but also environmentally sustainable. The project also inspired and maximized the surrounding situation, with the use of an abandoned shophouse as a base structure, and the approaches to the urban patterns. Project is designed to be context to the surroundings, but also dynamic. So, the existence of the project doesn’t become the ‘alien’ of the area, but the catalyst, and improves the image of the region. Activities on the project are maximized to be enjoyed by four main groups which are; the merchants, vendees, the locals, and the commuters. Commercial area to gather the buying and selling activities, combined with the education and entertainment programs, which also linked to the supporting functions for the transit activities. These programs make the project can be a place with diverse activities, and also a new public space at a negative point in an active urban area. Tempat penjualan barang loak yang unik dan membentuk citra menjadi marak di sekitar tapak, yang sayangnya tidak di tempat yang seharusnya. Sehingga ironi, dimana sebuah potensi yang dapat mengembangkan, menjadi sesuatu yang tidak seharusnya. Terlebih tapak merupakan titik negatif yang kurang efektif, namun ramai oleh aktivitas masyarakat. Loka Loak Kebayoran Lama, dengan metode urban retrofitting, bertujuan untuk mengembangkan area tersebut, baik di dalam tapak, lingkungan sekitar, serta masyarakatnya dalam satu sistem memenuhi fungsi baik sosial, ekonomi, maupun lingkungan berkelanjutan. Proyek terinspirasi dan memaksimalkan situasi sekitar, dengan pemanfaatan struktur ruko terbengkalai, serta pendekatan urban pattern sekitar. Bentukan konteks dan teratur, namun dinamis. Sehingga keberadaan proyek dapat menjadi katalis, serta meningkatkan citra kawasan. Kegiatan dimaksimalkan untuk empat kelompok utama yaitu; pedagang, pembeli, warga, dan komuter. Kesimpulan perancangan, adalah Loka Loak Kebayoran Lama, dengan area pasar loak sebagai titik kegiatan jual beli, berpadu dengan fungsi edukasi serta entertainment, yang bertautan dengan fungsi pendukung kegiatan transit. Aktivitas tidak hanya sebatas jual beli, namun juga edukasi dan hiburan. Proyek dapat menjadi tempat kegiatan yang beragam, dan ruang publik baru di titik negatif dalam kawasan urban yang aktif.

Um estudo comparativo de alertas positivos e negativos do meio ambiente em tempos de pandemia

The world is going through a period of calamity, a pandemic caused by the coronavirus. The situation began in China and has spread to its world surroundings. A means of combat attributed to society was isolation and social distancing, which could relate to the environment. The objective of this work is a systematic comparative review of the positive and negative impacts that the pandemic has caused on the environment. A systematic survey was conducted at PUBMED, Scielo and Google Academic, in the months of August to October 2020 using indexers. There are several positive points with pandemic related to the environment, however the indiscriminate use of materials has increased, being a negative point. It is perceived that the environment breathed with the measure of social isolation, but still needs various care.
